Body Merry - Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Cleanser
Face washes for dark spots
Tea tree face washes
Non comedogenic face washes
sydneyyHow often do you use this cleanser? Can it be used as a daily skincare routine? I'm kinda worried because some people are saying it's better do not use acid products every day.

four tips for dealing with acne prone skin ✨💆
1. WASH YOUR FACE TWICE A DAY! i know it might sound dumb but seriously, making sure that you wash your face in the morning and before you go to sleep, will help to get rid of excess oil that can cause acne. but, if you have very sensitive skin, MAKE SURE that are you being very gentle when cleansing your face and that you are using products that won’t cause any breakouts and won’t irritate your skin. 2. USE A SPOT TREATMENT!! my personal favorite spot treatment is TULA SKINCARE - Acne Spot Treatment. it is very gentle on my skin and honestly the results are AWESOME! i seriously do see a different when using this spot treatment. this product has benzoyl peroxide plus tea tree oil and probiotics. the probiotics can smoothen your face as well as the tea tree oil. 3. EXFOLIATE!! 👏 exfoliating is one of my favorite things to do because the results are amazingggg! my skin is so soft after i exfoliate. it can also help my acne prone skin too! it helps to remove any excess dead skin cells that can clog your pores and lead to breakouts. having a buildup of dead cells on your face may also make your skin look dull, flaky, or prematurely aged. my favorite product to exfoliate with is Body Merry - Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Cleanserbecause it really does help when my face is rly dry and it delivers incredible results. while a combination of kojic acid, rosehip oil, olive oil and tea tree oils works to clear out your pores, the glycolic acid in the cleanser removes the dead layer of skin on the surface of your face. the jojoba oils in this cleanser also give it plenty of moisturizing power to rehydrate severely dry skin. LOVE LOVE LOVEEEE!! 4. FACE MASKS! 🤩 face masks are WONDERFUL but you have to make sure you get ones that aren’t going to damage your skin further! avoid getting face masks that have tons of fragrances and chemicals as these can really not be good for your skin. these are some of my favorite face masks to use that can help my acne prone skin: AZTEC SECRET - Indian Healing ClaySOOO this product has a ton of hype around it and i’m sure you’ve heard of it before. this mask is very strong so if you have really sensitive skin i do NOT recommend it for you. for me, this mask has helped me see some results in my acne and it’s always a fun experience. you have to mix the clay with apple cider vinegar to form a paste that you then spread across your face as you would with a regular clay mask. grace & stella - Acne Treatment Facial Sheet Masksi loveeee these masks and i have probably seen the most results from these masks! it has salicylic acid along with other acne fighting ingredients! GLAMGLOW - SUPERMUD Clearing Treatment Maskthis mud mask works wonders for my skin! it helps to remove blemishes and pesky pimples with it’s bled of 6 acids that GET THE JOB DONE! i hope these tips helped!!! ❤️
🏄🏼♀️PORE MINIMIZING CLEANSER🏄🏼♀️
🐸THE PRODUCT🐸 The Shasta AHA Refining Acid Wash from Holifrog is intended to be a gentle acid-based face cleanser, and it is marketed as a great cleanser for adult acne due to its gentle yet effective acid content. This product deals with many target concerns! It is described as “white-glove service for your pores” by Holifrog, as it helps to clean out every pore of debris and dead skin, therefore minimizing the look of pores. This product also targets dull and textured skin to bring its shine and smoothness back through exfoliation, and it helps to treat and prevent breakouts. It has a combination of glycolic, mandelic, lactic, tartaric, and citric acids, and a total acid content of 5.4%. The low content is so that it does not strip your skin, while still providing effective exfoliation. The texture of the Shasta wash is a thin gel, as seen in picture 2, and once water is added, it does not lather, as seen in picture 3. The low surfactant content is why this cleanser doesn’t lather and it is important to note that cleansers don’t need to lather to work! 🍃MY HONEST OPINION🍃 I’ve been using this product for about a month, and I tried it because I received it as a gift from the company…I absolutely love it. I have very dry skin, and many acid cleansers strip my skin terribly, but this one does not! I also think that it lives up to its pore-minimizing claims, as my skin always looks perfected after washing my face with this. I would definitely recommend this product to others, and especially to people who struggle with acne breakouts as adults! It helps keep my skin clear, and I think the gentleness makes it great for most skin types. This product costs $38 for 5 fl oz, which I think is high for a cleanser, but the results make the product so worth the money. I would repurchase this again without a doubt. It is so easy to use this cleanser, so time and effort aren’t concerns with this product. So, I give this a 5/5 ⭐️ rating! It is definitely a cleanser that I didn’t even realize had been missing from my collection, and I’m so happy now that I have a gentle acid wash. I recommend!!
Face wash for hormonal acne
I bought this Dewy·er - Spirulina Face Wash after seeing multiple ads that said this brand is great for hormonal acne. My hormonal acne, which is almost all on and around my jawline, has come back after even the strongest topical meds, so I’ll try pretty much anything at this point. If it doesn’t clear up soon, I’m going to bite the bullet and go to a dermatologist. This face wash has chlorophyll and spirulina, along with essential oils like tea tree and ginger, that all claim to reduce acne and inflammation while brightening skin tone and reducing dark spots. I’m impressed by the cute branding and glass packaging, but of course the efficacy of the product is what matters to me most. I really like the silky foam of this cleanser—it’s unlike any other I’ve ever used and it feels luxurious. It smells strongly of tea tree, so beware if you’re sensitive to scents. I also think it’s priced fairly, at $25 for 8oz. I’ve been using this for about three weeks, so I can’t say for sure whether it’s been working for me or not: I’d want to finish the bottle before making a final judgment. I will say that it hasn’t been drying for me, despite some reviews saying it was (I have oily skin). It certainly doesn’t seem to be making my jawline acne worse, and I hope soon I’ll see it actually clearing up my current breakout. While my acne is all on my jaw area, this cleanser does seem like it’s helping to brighten and soften the areas of my face that aren’t problematic in terms of acne. I’ll add a final update once I’ve finished the bottle! Has anyone else tried Dewyer?
Dewy·er-Spirulina Face Wash
These beauties have been popping up on my feed recently, and I’m finally here to give them a proper review! I am very excited about this brand!! 🍓Super Smoothie Cleanser (8oz, $28)- This cleanser is gentle and effective. To me it smells like raw potatoes (which is fine, even though I’m a big scent person) but I think if you’re lucky it really smells like raspberries! It has a thicker consistency, pretty much just like a smoothie, and lathers up REALLY well. I feel like this cleanser really gets everything off! I also love the squeeze top on the mini size ☺️ 🌞Gold Tides Toner (4oz, $18) This toner makes me really happy. I feel like it truly removes all excess oil, which is great bc I’m an oily girl 🙃 it’s meant to also brighten and micro-exfoliate the skin. To me this smells like tea tree oil, which is one of the ingredients. Since using it I’ve noticed my complexion doesn’t become as oily later in the day as usual, and I believe it’s a really powerful acne fighter! Any small spots I have go down so fast now. 🍋Enzyme Scrub (2oz, $18) This is a daily exfoliant to smooth and brighten the skin. Be sure to use this before cleansing bc the lemon may interact with ingredients in other cleansers and leave you with a waxy feeling face like me! I also left this on way too long and my face started to really burn. It says to apply long enough that the active enzymes and fruit powders get to work, but for me that was only about 30 seconds 😅 my skin felt SO soft and supple after using this ☺️
Personalised products are an absolute treat for me. Something that's tailor made for my skin, made with thought and care. kihoutei is the king of personalised skincare. I've yet to try a product I don't like. kihoutei is also an independent business I've followed since I set up this page almost a year ago now. They're amazing, selfless and do so many great things for charity. I recieved a cleanser, toner and two in one serum moisturiser. My cleanser is made up of Joboba oil, Aloe vera, Watermelon, Cucumber, Neroli oil and Geranium oil. Contianing vitamins A, B, C, E. It has many anti-inflammatory properties, it's literally perfect for my current acne breakout. My toner is an Aloe vera, Watermelon and Cucumber toner. It's super refreshing, nourishing and cooling. Aloe contains vitamins A and C, Watermelon contains vitamins A, B6 and C and Cucumber contains vitamin C. This toner is packed full of so many beneficial vitamins and nutrients. I loveee it! My two in one serum moisturiser, made up of Jojoba oil, Argan oil, Aloe vera, Papaya extract, Baobab oil and Geranium oil. This is my personal favourite, my secret weapon. Papaya will always be one of my favourite ingredients for skincare due to the enzymes in the fruit that gently exfoliate and slough away dead skin cells. Packed with more vitamins, minerals and antioxidants with added anti-inflammatory properties. I use this before a heavier moisturiser (thanks dehydrated skin), it definitely soothes and reduces inflammation. I'll apply in the night before and the next morning my cystic pimples have shrunk.
Today’s post is about the Cosmedix Even Tone Kit WHAT IS IT? A kit consisting of minis (15ml) designed to restore the skin and fight against any discolouration. Contains: Purity Clean Cleanser, Super Brilliant Serum, Serum 16 Complex and Hydrate 15 Moisturiser. Duration of treatment: 28 days, I will share a little about each product in terms of ingredients and my thoughts. 💫Purity Clean Cleanser - exfoliation cleanser, can be used as a mask as well, stellar ingredients are tea tree oil, peppermint oil and chirraly correct lactic acid (5%). I hold this responsible for keeping my skin perfectly clean for 17 days (breakout on day 17, my fault literally one day before taking the pic). Great at preventing spots, exfoliating any dead skin and cleaning the pores. I would consider getting a full size. 💫Serum 16 Complex - a mix of retinol complex (to minimise irritation), HA, some antioxidants & humectants designed to fight againts discolouration and fine lines/wrinkles. This really made a difference in PIH, but was gentle enough to use every night (my skin is thick). I only experienced dryness in the first 3 days, I would say this is a gentle retinol product that delivers. 💫Hydrate 15 Moisturiser - broad spectrum SPF, contains antioxidants, however I didn’t find this added any benefits to my skin other than providing an interesting level of moisture. MY THOUGHTS Do I recommend the kit? Swipe left for before and after pictures. Please note that the spot in after picture appeared literally on day 17 (mostly likely due to my diet), my skin was very clear while using the kit.
save my skin🥺
