Bye-bye acne, thanks to French drugstore brand!
Darphin is a French brand that specializes in skincare made from botanical ingredients and essential oils. I got this balm last year when I traveled in Paris. It’s a highly-potent, fast-absorbing balm to fight the look of redness and acne, while instantly increasing brightness, radiance, and luminosity. I am a skincare junkie so I am very strict on what I apply to my skin. This has great ingredients and helped clear my acne as well as help prevent breakouts from happening. A lot of products tend to tingle and burn on my skin but this one did not give me that horrible sensation. Love it over all !

Take Good Care of Ur Acne!
I've been using this product for several years, and it is absolutely the best product for acne on the market! I have adult acne and don't know what I would do without it. I have a combination, sensitive skin type. As an adult, I am still going through the breakouts, which are often hormonal, and hormonal acne will pop up on my chin from time to time. DARPHIN - Aromatic Purifying BalmThe Aromatic Purify Balm clears and reduces sebum production. Reduces breakouts. This product does everything and more than the description says the product will do for your skin. No need to put in a lot of it, only a little could last an extremely long time. My usage: Warm a small amount of balm by rubbing hands together. Then massage the forehead, cheeks, chin, and neck with gentle upward motions and leave overnight. (As hormones insight playing on the sebum lookout or during periods of heavy stress.) I put a small thick layer directly over the blemish before I go to bed. When I wake up the offending problem is greatly reduced, often to the point of forgetting about what no one else can see anymore. It is the best treatment for acne on the market. It could help your skin more healthy-looking, reduce imperfections. And the balm is 100% natural formula, certified by Ecocert Greenlife, and without parabens. And The Darphin does smell divine, not the smell of cheap essence, which is very healing and relaxing. I think it also helps to fall asleep. For anyone who has occasional blemishes, this is an excellent product. The Automatic Purifying Balm gently but effectively makes blemishes disappear seemingly overnight. Everyone's skin is different, but if you've tried everything else, and have the budget to pay, give this a shot.
How do you heal and treat your skin?
✨I’m gonna share with you my nighttime treatment my skin really appreciates, and how I wake up with much cleaner and radiant skin. ✨ For a very long time , I would always wake up with dull skin and uneven texture. There won’t be any radiance or glow , and its sort of demotivating to start the day like that. Acne wasn’t a big problem but it did occur few times a month and would always leave scars or blemishes. ✨ A while ago I came across a Acne Treatment oil called ‘Meltdown’ by @blume 💕 ✨ What is it? It’s an oil for Acne Prone Skin which you can use to prevent acne, clear acne and blemishes. It’s a blend of all natural ingredients. ✨ Key Ingredients Rosehip, Blue Tansy, Tamanu, Lavender, Black Cumin Seed ✨ My thoughts At nighttime, I usually cleanse my with @blume milk based face wash ‘Daydreamer’ . I really like it because its so creamy and gentle. It doesn’t irritate my eyes or skin. To use ‘Meltdown’ , I mix a few drops of this essential oil based serum with @milkmakeup moisturizer. It calms down any inflammation I have and its a perfect nighttime treatment to heal my skin. Now I wake up with much clearer skin which I can feel confident about and start my day. It really heals the skin overnight and any acne I have goes away in a week or so. Its been amazing to clean up the blemishes, and there are only a few areas left. Also, for the people who weren’t able to use @milkmakeup vegan moisturizer because its too rich, I think it would be a great idea to mix it with an oil/serum so it suits your skin. - - What’re your favourite nighttime treatments? BLUME-Daydreamer Face Wash
I really enjoyed curology and it helped so much with my hormonal acne. Unfortunately after about 3-4 months it caused me to develop perioral dermatitis around my mouth, under my nose and chin. I have extremely sensitive skin so if it weren’t for that this stuff was wonderful for my acne. Unfortunately I had to discontinue use because of the rash like appearance it created.
BELIEVE THE HYPE? Personalized acne care.
You’ve seen the ads and the YouTube videos right? You were skeptical too? YUP, me too. Is Curology worth the investment? We’ve all seen the ads and videos. I caved in 6 months ago and decided to try curology . Last fall my skin started to break out and I had a hard time getting it under control, so I said why not and ordered my first bottle of curology . My first bottle was a really, in my opinion, generic formula. My formula was Niacinamide, Azelaic Acid, and Clindamycin. From working in a dermatology office, I knew my formula wasn’t anything special. I noticed other reviews that had the same formula, so my guess is that is the “go to” formula for basically everyone. The first formula didn’t do much for me so I reached out to my curology Dr. and she changed my formula for me. My new formula added Zinc into it and I instantly started to see a difference in my skin. Curology - Curology formula I apply this pretty much every night unless I forget. I apply it as my last serum and then lay my moisturizer and face oil over it. + it’s very hydrating. + after adjusting, the formula is just right for me. + it keeps a lot of little breakouts at bay. + when my skin needs a break from my routine, I just use this. + I pay $40 every 2 months for the bigger size bottle. This an experience catered just for my skin, so I can’t speak for everyone, but I have really enjoyed it. It’s part of my routine and I don’t plan on taking it out. If you are looking for something new to try, curology may be for you. The first bottle is free with just $5 shipping. My best advice is to give it at least 3 months to see signs of improvement and have your formula adjusted if needed! I don’t regret this and will continue to keep my subscription! . Who else has tried curology ?
Honest Curology review!!!
✨I first started curology back in 2016 when my skin was doing really bad, the acne I had was terrible and I constantly tried to hide it with my hair and hands.... bought my first bottle and at first my skin broke out more which confused me but I soon learned that’s a normal process of purging and slowly my skin began to look better especially around my jawline. I was very impressed with my results after one year. I stayed on curology for another 2 years before taking a couple months long break in 2019. When I returned to the product it simply was not working the same. The two most recent pictures are a couple weeks ago (April 2020), ive been back on curology for a year now. they adjusted my ratios and it helped slightly but my skin will not go back to what it once was. I don’t suffer from acne so much anymore but seemingly incurable dark spots and scarring. That being said I do highly recommend curology for acne. 💛The doctors you can chat with are very helpful and understanding 💛the product does provide improvement for acne but not much for dark spots 💛it’s pretty affordable ($25 for a one month supply or $40 for a two month supply) I will definitely accept advice on what to do with my skin moving forward!! (Focused on removing dark spots)
🧪𝐅𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐢-𝐀𝐜𝐧𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬🧪 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐢𝐧 - patience is what you need if you want this ingredient to do wonders for your skin. great for acne and anti-aging - surely will be my bestfriend for a long time. although I think it doesn’t do much for my pigmentations, this has improved the texture of my skin tremendously. ~ 𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐨-𝐀, 𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐚, 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐚 𝟎.𝟓% 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐭 𝐙𝐢𝐧𝐜 - the underrated one. I’ve always loved zinc for my scalp. I use it for my hairline, it’s an awesome ingredient for seborrheic dermatitis (self diagnosed😅) When I learned about malassezia folliculitis (fungal acne) and I was positive I had it, I tried Zinc for my face and it totally got rid of the pustules/whiteheads. I use it in the morning while in the shower, lather and leave it for 5-10mins on the face then rinse off. Give it a week of two to do its magic. ~ 𝐕𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐙 𝐁𝐚𝐫, 𝐓𝐎 𝐍𝐢𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐝𝐞+𝐙𝐢𝐧𝐜 𝐒𝐮𝐥𝐟𝐮𝐫 - I don’t see this a lot in cosmeceutical products but it’s one amazing ingredient. Just found my lost ointment not long ago. Sulfur is antibacterial and anti-inflammatory. It’s great on absorbing excess oil too. Leave it on affected area and rinse off after 10mins. I usually use it once, but if the acne is stubborn I would use it again the next day. Sulfur speeds up the process of healing the skin. ❗️sulfur can burn the skin and you can end up with dark marks, never leave it on for more than 10mins. ~ 𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐟𝐮𝐫 𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐜 𝐨𝐱𝐢𝐝𝐞, 𝐒𝐀) 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴: 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐜𝐢𝐝 - excellent pore-clearing/exfoliant especially for acne prone skin 𝐍𝐢𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐝𝐞 - reduces inflammation 𝘮𝘺 𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘶𝘭𝘢: tretinoin 0.018% 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐦𝐲𝐜𝐢𝐧 -antibiotic, reduces bacteria and swelling (not for long term use) 𝐀𝐳𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐜𝐢𝐝 - anti-inflammatory , also great for rosacea sufferers

Derm Prescribed Acne Treatments!
I recently went to the dermatologist for my persistent acne, and she prescribed two topical products for me: clindamycin gel for A.M. and tretinoin cream for P.M.. With insurance, they cost $10 and $8.72 respectively. Since I have dry & sensitive skin already, I will be starting both slowly. I will use the clindamycin gel every other morning for 2-4 weeks, and then every morning as prescribed. For the tretinoin cream, I will apply it every 3 nights for two weeks, every other night for two weeks, and then every night as prescribed. So what are these products? How do you use them? And how long will it take to see results? Let’s explore- What is Clindamycin? Clindamycin is a type of antibiotic. It is used topically to treat acne. It works by slowing or stopping the growth of bacteria that cause acne and by decreasing swelling. It is available in a variety of preparations including gel, foam, lotion, etc. How do you use Clindamycin gel? Apply a pea-size amount to your face. I apply dots to my cheeks, chin, nose, and forehead before gently rubbing in the gel. I apply it after my serum and before my moisturizer. Make sure to wash your hands after applying the gel! What is Tretinoin? Tretinoin is also known as retinoic acid. It’s the generic name for synthetic vitamin A. It’s sold under many different brand names. Retin-A is one of those brand names, which shouldn’t be confused with retinol. Tretinoin is a prescription-strength topical cream or gel. It’s used mainly to treat acne, sun-damaged skin, and fine wrinkles. Tretinoin is able to speed up the life cycle of skin cells. It makes them divide faster and die faster, so newer, healthier cells can take their place. OBAGI - Tretinoin 0.025% Cream How do you use Tretinoin? You also want to use a pea-size amount of this product. Again, I apply it in dots on my cheeks, chin, nose, and forehead before gently rubbing in the cream. I apply it at the end of my PM routine. You also want to wash your hands after applying this! How long will it take to see results? My dermatologist said that it will take approximately 6-8 weeks to start seeing results. I made a follow-up appointment in 2.5 months to monitor my progress and make as-needed adjustments!
