okay... so I know I've posted this before, and Cherie is (devastatingly) closing down, but I thought I'd share one last post. This really works. one is a prescription and there are a couple items missing, so I'll add them to the pictures. Here is the order they say to put on skincare (as depicted) 1) makeup remover/wash (I use Queen Helene cold cream that I SWEAR by, sometimes BURT’S BEES - BURT‘S BEES Sensitive Facial Cleanser
) 2) Facewash/second face wash (I use DERMA•E - Sensitive Skin Cleanser
and Joeseph anti Acne soap 10% sulfur) 3) Toner (I use THAYERS - Rose Petal Facial Toner
) 4) Serums (I use a few... my prescription Amzeeq, mostly The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%
, and DERMA•E - Blue Light Shield Concentrated Serum
) 5) Spot Treatments (Murad - Invisiscar Resurfacing Treatment
, tea tree oil when needed) 6) Eye Cream (not pictured - DERMA•E - Firming DMAE Eye Lift Cream
) 7) Moisturizer (2 different kinds depending on how dry I am- pictured: Alba Botanica Aloe Green tea moisturizer, not pictured: skinfix - Barrier+ Triple Lipid-Peptide Cream
) 8) Retinol: Now, because I have rosacea, I use a retinol alternative. The best one for sensitive skin I found is The Ordinary - Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion
use at night only) 9) Face Oil: HEAR ME OUT: If you have oily skin, it's not the WORST thing to use an oil. As a matter of fact, it may work well. BEST ONE BY FAR IS ROSEHIP OIL. I can't tell you how amazing it is The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil
, and JOSIE MARAN - Pure Argan Milk Intensive Hydrating Treatment
during the day) wear sunscreen during the day, and put it in place of retinol. I use Glossier. - Invisible Shield Daily Sunscreen
it's a great light moisturizer, too. And at night in the winter if it's super dry, I'll put petroleum jelly around the corners of my eyes and lips. The results don't lie, Cherie babes (: comment below I'd you know of a better eye cream.

let’s talk neck care!
Neck and décolletage care! This type of skin care isn’t addressed as much, but it’s still an important step of skincare! I never really thought about it while I was addressing my face skin concerns, but I once read that it was good to bring your skincare products down to your neck, so I started doing that about 8 months ago. I think my neck lines are partly genetic, but they’re also due to how often I sit in bed staring at my phone, thus creating deeper lines on my neck. I wish I had a picture from 8 months ago, but my neck was pretty wrinkly, it had really deep horizontal neck lines that I couldn’t get rid of even if I stretched my neck. While I still have some horizontal lines on my neck, they’re certainly less visible than they were before. So what do I do exactly? I really don’t do much besides bring my toners, serums, sunscreen, and moisturizers down to my neck, and I massage it in in an upward direction. So with the product on my hands, I start to massage from the base of my neck up to my chin. I do this until I feel like the product has been absorbed. Massaging the product in an upward direction will help smooth the skin and prevent drooping. I certainly did not see results immediately. In fact, it took at least 6 months of doing this little massage every morning and night to see some change. I really just stuck to it and ended up doing it out of habit for many months, then one day I realized my neck looked much smoother than it was before. Here are some of the products I’ve been using on my neck (I usually use these on my face too): innisfree - Cica Toner with Bija Seed Oil innisfree - Green Tea Moisture-Balancing Toner CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion THE inkey LIST - Hyaluronic Acid Serum Kate Somerville - Liquid ExfoliKate Triple Acid Resurfacing Treatment FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil

Tour of what’s in my fridge
A skin care fridge is totally not a necessity but they are super fun to have. Things to consider before buying one is: does it fit in your budget, will it fit in your bathroom, what products will go in it? I got mine from Amazon where they range from $60-$150 cad but you can get them from tons of places. The way I use mine is to keep products cold for the experience (de puffing) and to extend their shelf life. Here’s a tour of what I currently keep in my skincare fridge. The Ordinary - Ascorbic Acid 8% + Alpha Arbutin 2% This serum is great to keep cold as it ensures it is kept at a consistent temperature and in a dark place which helps with stability. The combination of ascorbic acid and alpha arbutin make for a great brightening and hyperpigmentation treatment. THE BODY SHOP - British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask This is a really nice hydrating and plumping face mask that gives a very spa like vibe. The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil I love to keep this oil cold as it increases the shelf life. This is a great hydrating oil that also helps acne and hyperpigmentation. THE BODY SHOP - Chinese Ginseng & Rice Clarifying Polishing Mask I love keeping this mask chilled as it helps depuff my face in the morning. This is a very nourishing mask that is also gently brightening. pixi - DetoxifEYE These are great cold as they really helps get rid of any puffiness from waking up. This pot holds 30 pairs which is great value from money. VERSED - LOOK ALIVE Hydrating Plumping Mask This is a great hydrating mask that really plumps my skin and helps when it is dehydrated. Keeping it cold makes the experience even more enjoyable. LANEIGE - Cica Sleeping Mask This is a creamy sleeping mask that highlights cica which is a very soothing ingredient. Applying it cold makes the soothing power even more effective. LANEIGE - Lavender Water Sleeping Mask This is a gel mask that feels great when applied cold as it feels very soothing. The lavender scent can also be very relaxing. grace & stella - Rose quartz face roller I love doing an evening massage, it feels amazing if the tool is kept cold. It helps with lymphatic drainage and product absorption. 👜Sheet masks ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I love to keep all my sheet masks in the fridge as the experience of a chilled mask is very enjoyable.

Me + My Nightime Routine
I've been into skincare for a few years already, and I've found that this routine has really worked for me! The The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% and VitaminSea.beauty - Sea Kelp & Hyaluronic Acid Bouncy Sleep Mask are both new but they've worked well so far. Every night: Wash off all the gross oil and grime with Incredible BY NATURE - African Black Soap . Note that this ACTUAL black african soap, not the stuff that Shea Moisture sells. Black african soap help to get the skin squeaky clean, and I've also found that when you first start using it it literally sloughs off dead skin. Just be careful if you start using it as it can definitely be rough on dry or sensitive skin. Also, do not put the bar directly on your skin! It contains pieces that could tear skin when rubbed: lather in your hands or on a brush first. To help soften the skin and soothe any irritation, I double wash with BURT’S BEES - BURT‘S BEES Sensitive Facial Cleanser . If you have sensitive or irritated skin, this is the stuff! It is a nice, creamy texture, almost like lotion. A little goes a long way, especially if you put it on dry like I do. Its also helpful in letting me know if I'm over exfoliating/cleansing with other products, because it will slightly sting if I am. This stuff is super nice and also pretty inexpensive (only around $12-13 for 6 oz) for what it offers. A must have if you have dryness or irration. I've only just started using the The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% , so I can't say much, but I've only heard good things, and I haven't noticed any issues my self. I apply it in the PM, and use Vitamin C in the AM. ANDALOU NATURALS - Q10 Night Repair Cream I really feel like this stuff moisturizes well. It's definitely a PM only for me though, as it tend to pill up if I use too many other products like SPF. I also like to sometimes put some Vaseline - 100% Pure Petroleum Jelly, Original on top of it to help keep it from pilling, as sometimes the niacinamide serum can do that. But this stuff definitely leaves my skin feeling soft and protected, and I would definitely buy again. Every 2-3 days VitaminSea.beauty - Sea Kelp & Hyaluronic Acid Bouncy Sleep Mask is a really nice sleep mask. Hyaluronic acid leaves skin moisturized, while the sea kelp extract keeps you glowy! Just make sure to put it on a bit before bed, as it can make your pillow a bit greasy if it doesn't dry enough first. This has helped me look just a bit fresher in the morning when I get up, which is helpful when I don't have to wash my face as I don't wear make up. Once A Week My skin can only take The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution once a week at most! I tried using it twice a week but that was just way too hard on my skin. The black african soap is exfoliatianting enough between treatments.

Evil In A Jar
skinfix - Barrier+ Triple Lipid-Peptide Cream This product is marketed as being for sensitive skin. Well, buyer beware of marketing labels. I bought it for that reason. It has a nice texture and is free of the things my skin reacts to (dimethicone, lanolin, beeswax, retinol) and absorbs nicely. I also like the pump that means you aren’t constantly contaminating the product. It’s everything else I dislike about this product. The first week was fine. The second week my skin started to become somewhat irritated and painful to the touch. By the end of the week, I had broken out and cried constantly from how painful my face was. In retrospect, I am pretty sure it was the hyaluronic acid that was irritating my skin. One more product to add to the epic list of products my skin can’t tolerate. So if you have sensitive skin, please use caution with this product. It may be marketed for those of us with sensitive skin but it certainly wasn’t tolerated by my sensitive skin.

My empties and its replacements 👀
Hi everyone!!! I wanted to round up a few products that I’ve used and emptied (or nearly emptied) in the past few months and share a few thoughts and what I’ve replaced them with 👀. All these products got the BOOT from my skincare routine - not bc they sucked but bc I’ve want to try something new and see what all the rage is about in these products I’ve picked up! Toner So I recently learned from@skindocminaand@Culskinthat toner isn’t necessary 😂 but I’ve seen really great things about the Neogen real ferment essence. My favorite k-beauty bloggers mentioned it and so I wanted to try. So far, I really love the texture of the toner because it’s not extremely watery where it slips right off, but it’s got a littttle bit of density to it. The indie Lee toner is alright, no complaints! Really love the spritzer bottle but the product itself is average IMO! Moisturizer ive been really on the hunt for a nice, rich moisturizer for the winter months. This indie Lee moisturizer was just alright for me. It has a little bit of a pepperminty smell but it doesn’t really run into the skin quite well. It leaves a white cast if it’s not worked into the skin. I’ve seen so many rave reviews of this moisturizer from the likes of Hyram and others, so I had to try! I haven’t opened yet but will let you know 😀 Sunscreen Sunscreen is CRUCIAL everyday, every season. I’ve used up my Supergoop completely and though it feels nice on the skin, I almost feel paranoid that it’s clogging my pores since it acts like a primer as well. Because I’m not wearing makeup these days, I want a more light, breathable sunscreen. I’ve heard this Klairs one is amazing, so I had to try! Have you tried any of these? How did you like them??

Affordable Morning Routine!
Ulta employee here showing my affordable morning routine! Everything is under $40 and fragrance free 😊 A little bit about my skin: - I have pretty normal skin with a slightly oily t-zone - I live in Florida, so I sweat A LOT due to the humidity - My skin can be acne prone - I get "fungal acne" very easily from heavier moisturizing ingredients (and many niacinamide serums for some reason) Now for the routine! I cleanse with CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin and oh my god this has made the biggest difference with the "fungal acne" (I use quotes because its not really acne). I used to have congested pores all over my face and no matter what I did, they wouldn't go away! I was looking for drugstore cleansers and happened to find this, and I haven't had any issues since. Highly recommend! After gently patting my face dry, I'll use the Mad Hippie - Vitamin C Serum . I hate that this is relatively expensive for a drugstore vitamin c serum, but no other serum has worked as well as this one for me. I've tried similar vitamin c treatments from the ordinary and other brands, and nothing makes my skin feel as soft, bright, and hydrated as mad hippie. Recently, I'll also take any excess and put it near my under-eye area to help with dark circles, and its making a big difference! I've already repurchased this product, so I highly recommend. I struggle with fine lines around my eyes, so I love using DERMA•E - Firming DMAE Eye Lift Cream AM and PM. I'm on my 3rd bottle of this and I've noticed a big reduction in fine lines, dark circles, and creasing when I wear concealer. This is one of the best eye creams out there in my opinion. I moisturize with CLINIQUE - Clinique iD : Moisturizer + Concentrate for Fatigue . I use the jelly base with the fatigue cartridge for lightweight hydration, additional antioxidants, and glowing skin throughout the day. My skin always feels soft, supple, and bright... so much so that I have 2 extra cartridges sitting in my bathroom so that I never run out 😂 SUNSCREEN, SUNSCREEN, SUNSCREEN! I love LA ROCHE-POSAY - Anthelios 60 Clear Skin Dry Touch Sunscreen SPF 60 even though its a chemical sunscreen. I tried to switch to mineral sunscreen recently, and every single one that I tried always made me look like a ghost, felt like I was rubbing chalk on my skin, or broke me out. This sunscreen is oil-free, contains antioxidants for extra protection, and is dry to the touch so it won't feel greasy at all. I'm on my 3rd (?) bottle of this and I don't see myself switching any time soon. DON'T FORGET LIP SPF! I really like Aquaphor - Lip Repair + Protect Broad Spectrum SPF 30 because its very moisturizing and really hydrates the lips. We see people coming in all the time for lip scrubs, but you don't need one if you properly moisturize and protect your lips!

Husband Facial
I love him! He let me give him a facial tonight because he hates his pores and budding wrinkles. He has always told me that my skincare is silly and that I’m buying into packaging, blah blah blah. He started with DERMA•E - Anti-Wrinkle Cleanser , then moved onto a full 10 minutes of The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution . After that, I dotted my DERMA•E - Firming DMAE Eye Lift Cream along his eyeline and instructed him to moisturize his face properly with DERMA•E - Anti-Wrinkle Renewal Cream . From me to ya’ll, though... he keeps touching his face and saying “wow... I never knew my skin could feel this good.” when he thinks I can’t hear him. Haha! Also, he looks extra good for date night tonight. 😉

1 week update
thanks to all lovely beauties out there to take their time and add a comment on my last post. I was devastated by breakout, i was having from last 2-3 weeks and nothing seems to be working. Well i guess too many exfoliants was making my skin too sensitive so now i am back to basics. I have started what i was doing in the beginning and that seems to be working just fine. I think i was selfish to have a great skin in no time 🥴. If someone is just curious what i am doing right now then lets go to products. AM: The Ordinary - Squalane Cleanser sukin - Pore Perfecting Toner Blemish Control it has tree oil which is good for acne prone skin The Ordinary - Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2% The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA LA ROCHE-POSAY - Anthelios XL Ultra-Light Fluid SPF 50+ as i have sensitive and oily skin this makes my face matte and oil free. I really like this one for oily skin or combination skin PM: The Ordinary - Squalane Cleanser sukin - Pore Perfecting Toner Blemish Control The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% (only on spots and acne 2-3 times a week) The Ordinary - Mandelic Acid 10% + HA (once a week) The Ordinary - Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion (once a week) The Ordinary - Salicylic Acid 2% Masque (once a week) The Ordinary - 100% Plant-Derived Hemi-Squalane tea tree oil only on spots Even if i have listed so many items i feel i have very basic skin care routine as most of the products are being used weekly or only 2-3 times a week. But in the end this routine is working out for me and i am seeing good progress which makes me happy. Again thanks to all who suggested me before ❤️❤️

Mature Skin Night Routine
So with al the products out there, I enjoy shaking it up and trying new things!!! I have begun a new routine!! DHC - Deep Cleansing Oil this is my start. It does an excellent job of removing al my makeup, without striping my mature skin of moisture. Murad - Renewing Cleansing Cream I use this as my second cleanse. I love the cream to foam feel. It too does an excellent job at keeping my skin hydrated. The Ordinary - "Buffet" + Copper Peptides 1% I use this every other day! I rotate this with the next product. I have been using this for about a month and I am loving how my skin is responding. The Ordinary - Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion I use this alternating days of the “buffet”. This is a thicker consistency and I like it. This is so far a bonus to my routine. THE inkey LIST - Hyaluronic Acid Serum this is my favorite hyaluronic acid at the moment. I’m sure I will try others along the way, and love them too. This absorbs well and does not leave my skin tacky. e.l.f. - Superhydrate Moisturizer I layer this right after my hyaluronic acid, which pulls moisture to the skin. This gives my hyaluronic acid the extra boost. This is a gel texture. I keep mine in my skin fridge and it feels like heaven on my skin. CeraVe - CeraVe Moisturising Cream this is my final step!!! I can’t live without this. This makes my skin so happy!! Mature skin peeps.... game changer! This keeps my skin full of hydration, gives my skin barrier exactly what it needs, and frankly since using this... my skin continues to look better and better! LANEIGE - Lip Sleeping Mask - Mint Choco Chip I finish with this little gem! This comes in several varieties, this one is the one I was gifted. I’m glad I was. Gives my kid hydration all night. Hope my tips help! If you have any, I would love to hear them. Taking care of ur skin is a journey we all seek to perfect!!!

rosacea/acne Before (1,2) and after (3,4)!
and this is close to my period as well, the last 2 pictures. I was frustrated beyond belief since the beginning of the pandemic, and would have nothing but stubborn and painful rashes underneath my nose. I felt like there was no hope for my adult acne, and finally I saw a dermatologist. It's not perfect, but well on its way. I can't say enough things about the sulfur shampoo. a couple of them are medicated, but the sulfur soap is from Amazon. are there any other products people recommend for rosacea/malar rash and dry skin? Am I just imagining things and my skin actually isn't better and I just think it is?! let me know. I'm so much happier with my skin, now!! I also use plain organic honey as a mask on my face as a natural antiseptic. Works BEAUTIFULLY! now, the things listed below are a mixture of prescription, everyday, and once in a while. AZTEC SECRET - Indian Healing Clay #Amzeeq - Amzeeq topical foam 4%[products]#[FourStars] #Josoef - Joesoef Anti-Acne Soap Natural Volcanic Sulfur 10%[products]#[FiveStars] The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% JOSIE MARAN - Pure Argan Milk Intensive Hydrating Treatment Glossier. - Invisible Shield Daily Sunscreen

☀️☀️We hate Suncream yet we are hopeless without it☀️☀️ UNPROTECTED SUN exposure is the number-one cause of two things most of us would rather avoid: skin cancer and premature aging. And yet, the people who neglect daily sunscreen are swift to offer up justifications, chief among them: “I just don’t like the way it feels” Widespread sunscreen aversion has led many brands to bridge the sunscreen and skin care categories, creating lightweight everyday facial formulas that incorporate antiaging and antioxidant ingredients, boast a more appealing texture (sheer! weightless!), and provide imperfection-blurring technology. But with hundreds to choose from, how do you find one that inspires devotion? My solution: Test 50 top formulas As for my personal issues with sunscreen engagement: I have a dusky complexion and very sensitive skin, ergo, my skin gets pigmentation easily; A facial sunscreen that doesn’t upset my sensitive skin’s fine balance can seem like a unicorn. I prefer moisturizing formulas with dewier results; matte finishes tend to magnify fine lines, I’ve found. I want a sunscreen that neither feels heavy on my face nor is detectable by anyone else. My ideal formula must also play well with any makeup I use: I’ve learned, for instance, that the white cast of classic zinc formulas plus blush can leave me looking very mime-y. And last, but certainly not least, it must be fragrance-free or at least scented to a barely discernible degree. Fragrance can be a sneaky skin irritant, and I would rather my face didn’t smell like cloying coconuts or shampoo. I dutifully tested a massive pile of sunscreens of every creed with all the aforementioned criteria in mind. It’s true that you won’t like using sunscreen until you find sunscreen you like using. Here are 12 to consider Best for Sensitive Skin EltaMD UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46/ First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Pure Mineral Sunscreen Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 40elta md SKINCARE - UV Clear Broad Spectrum SPF 46 FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Pure Mineral Sunscreen Moisturizer SPF 40 Frequently, and deservedly name-checked by dermatologists (Dr. Marmur is a fan), this SPF-46 formulation goes on clear, is full of niacinamide (an anti-inflammatory vitamin B3 derivative), and crucially, it won’t give you zits. “I love it because it’s sensitive enough to use if you have acne, dryness or rosacea but also isn’t greasy for those with oily skin Best for No-Frills Folks SkinCeuticals Light Moisture UV Defense SPF 50/ Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Lotion SPF 30 Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Water Gel Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30 A basic sunscreen is not a bad thing. This one feels not unlike your favorite pared-down, lightweight body moisturizer: hydrating without leaving any residue. It’s equally suitable for face and body which saves you the trouble of having to buy a second sunscreen Best for Makeup Wearers Supergoop City Sunscreen Serum SPF 30/ Drunk Elephant Umbra Tinte Physical Daily Defense SPF 30 Supergoop! - Superscreen Daily Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 40 PA+++ DRUNK ELEPHANT - Umbra Tinte Physical Daily Defense Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 30 Though called a serum, it’s more akin to a moisturizer—a silky, featherweight moisturizer at that. Upon application, it sinks right into the skin, has a smooth finish and won’t compete with any makeup you top it with. It makes for a very easy swap for the morning moisturizer currently in your skin care routine. Best for Serum-Lovers Solid & Striped Face Sunscreen/ Glossier Invisible Shield Daily Sunscreen SPF 35 Bumble and bumble. - Solid & Striped Surf Spray, Malibu Beach Glossier. - Invisible Shield Daily Sunscreen The best compliment that you can pay to a sunscreen is that it doesn’t seem like a sunscreen. And this facial formula— the first skin-care product from swimwear brand Solid & Striped—feels nothing like a sunscreen and everything like a lightweight serum. This appealing quality made remembering to use it very easy. That it looks a bit moist and dewy on the skin also helps Best for Dry Skin Vive Sana Daily Protezione/ Origins A Perfect World Age-Defense Skin Guardian With White Tea ORIGINS - A Perfect World Age-Defense Skin Guardian with White Tea The zinc-based formula is rich and immensely hydrating (it’s full of argan oil), like a solid night cream. On the skin that lushness reads as a subtle glow, precluding the need for highlighter (if that’s your thing). For the moisture-starved among us, this natural sunscreen will feel like a revelation Best for the Chemical-Shy Coola Mineral Sun Silk Crème Organic Sunscreen SPF 30/ Clinique Mineral Sunscreen Fluid for Face Broad Spectrum SPF 50 CLINIQUE - Broad Spectrum SPF 50 Mineral Sunscreen Fluid for Face COOLA - Full Spectrum 360° Mineral Sun Silk Moisturizer Organic Face Sunscreen SPF 30 Formulating mineral sunscreens so that they A) aren’t so dense they become unwieldy; and B) don’t leave a ghostly veil on your face, can be a tricky business. The mineral sunscreens I tested rarely felt weightless, but this one proved to be a true exception. It has the added benefit of protecting against infrared and HEV (aka, the blue light emanating from all your various devices

Empties - will I repurchase?
I complied them all together, my empties over the last few months, and will split into two posts. FIRST AID BEAUTY - Facial Radiance Pads I love these for the convenience. They are daily treatments pads with lactic and glycolic acids to safely exfoliate the skin, helping it appear brighter and approve texture. I was able to use these daily if I wished but being I use a retinol I didn’t use them on the night I would use my retinol. For me, they didn’t pack enough punch. I’ve been using a lot one my face over the last few years and while I still have to be careful, I find there are products that just don’t do it for me. These would be great for beginners or those with sensitive skin. 60 pads for $34 - again I liked the convenience but I feel you get more bang for your buck with a liquid exfoliate cause I sure get more then 60 uses out of mine. ⭐️No-repurchase CAUDALIE - Vinoperfect Brightening Solution Set I’ve reviewed this before so I am not going to go into details. Please check my page if you’re looking for more info on it. I really do love the serum but I find I like the results I get from using a vitamin c and exfoliating. I need more than just a brightening solution as I have some scaring. The serum in this set is so very good for its brightening abilities. I went through three sets before giving it up. I do notice my face is not as glowy but I’m not sure if that’s from me being a bit more lazy with my skincare routine or from missing this. We’ll see. ⭐️Possible- repurchase YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream with Ashwagandha + Reishi Not my favorite but is a good moisturizer. I’ve also reviewed this before. I prefer their Superfood Whip Moisturizer over this as I just like the texture and it’s a great daytime moisturizer for me. More in-depth review on my page ⭐️No-repurchase YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Yerba Mate Resurfacing Energy Facial I’ve reviewed this twice now so please see my page. Thais will be a forever purchase as of now! Definitely a fave of mine. I use once a week. ⭐️ repurchase YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask same as the last. I’ve purchased three so far. My favorite night time moisturizer. More in-depth reviews on my page ⭐️repurchase Murad - Rapid Age Spot and Pigment Lightening Serum this formula has changed as it had an ingredient that was bad. I have went through 3 original minis and loved the results but won’t repurchase due to the formula change. I saw almost instant results in spots being lifted. I have now switched to their Murad - Invisiscar Resurfacing Treatment and it works just as good. I’m continuing to work on stubborn acne spots and when I am consistent with this and exfoliating, my scars and spots are almost invisible! ⭐️repurchase Invisiscar ❤️🍒

Why does my skin react different night vs day?
Over the years I have gone through hundreds of products figuring out what works for me. I have finally found a good set of products that I love, but sometimes when I use certain products in the daytime (such as Bio-Oil - Multiuse Skincare Oil and certain facemasks, I breakout so much worse than I do when I use the same exact product at night! I am confused by this so I have been wondering if it’s related to my oil levels throughout the day or what? Should I be using more drying products in the day time and hydrating at night? The only ones that really work for me day and night are The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% and THE BODY SHOP - Jumbo Tea Tree Oil although I know Hyram has said oils are not for the face

Update: my acne has reduced A LOT
I’ve been a bit MIA since my last post but here is the progress of my acne. If I were to pinpoint the main reasons why, then it’s these reasons: What I did wrong: - experimenting and using alot of different products. I was in a phase where I loved trying new products and my skin did not like that I was switching products all the time. - I did not spot test new products - overloaded my skin with many products. I don’t know who needs to hear this but a 10 step routine is NOT for acne prone skin. - drank little water each day - used harsh products without re-balancing my skin with soothing products - masked almost everyday What I did to improve it: - reduce the number of products going on my skin. I now use only a max of 3 products in the morning and 5 products at night. - drank 2 litres of water every day - used a soothing pH-balanced toner - used a GENTLE chemical exfoliant - used retinol regularly - masked only every 2-3 days Some products I use in my daily routine that really helped my skin: PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator as an all-over exfoliant PAULA'S CHOICE - BHA 9 Treatment as a spot treatment The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% to fade acne scars Products that I use every 2-3 days that helped my skin: AZCLEAR - Medicated Lotion (mixed with Niacinamide) to fade acne scars DRUNK ELEPHANT - A-Passioni Retinol Cream to bring out new baby skin ANDALOU NATURALS - CannaCell Glow Mask as a gentle exfoliating mask If you are going through something similar just know to take it SLOWLY. The skin is going through trauma and it is not an overnight success. If you have any questions I’m happy to answer.

Perfect for dry skin!
Absolutely love this product. A little goes a long way! I use this product in my night time routine. I use this on the days that I feel like my face needs extra hydration. This product is a more heavy serum. I like to use this product before I use a moisturizer. I definitely wouldn’t use this product if you have oily skin. You should only use this product if you have dry or combination skin. I also love this product because it is vegan, cruelty free and synthetic fragrance free! This product is also good for fine lines and wrinkles. Definitely will continue to use. JOSIE MARAN - Pure Argan Milk Intensive Hydrating Treatment

Rose Toner: worth the hype? 🥀
When people talk about drugstore beauty, Thayers is often one of the first products mentioned. They have a line of alcohol free witch hazel based products like face mists and toners. Thayers is sold at stores like Whole Foods and Target. The most famous of these is the THAYERS - Rose Petal Facial Toner So...is it worth the hype? What’s in it? 🌹Aloe 🌹Rose water 🌹Witch Hazel Cost: $11 for 12oz What’s it do? Thayers touts this product as a gentle one that will cleanse, tone, moisturize, and balance pH. So...why all the hype? - Thayers toner has minimal ingredients and those ingredients are processed as minimally as possible. It’s clean and straightforward - The witch hazel is alcohol free and is not distilled. I find this to be much less astringent than the giant bottle of witch hazel I used as a tween and re-found in my childhood bathroom over the holidays -Very affordable My take on Thayers Toner: This toner does not cause any irritation for me It is gently hydrating and I enjoy the subtle rose scent I like using this right after cleansing so that my more occlusive products can lock it in I put some of the product in an old face mist bottle and it is great for a refreshing mid-day pick me up Other than gentle hydration, I didn’t notice a huge difference when using this product so I won’t be repurchasing (especially since I’m trying to cut back on my routine!) If you are looking for a basic, affordable, hydrating toner I highly recommend giving this a try!!

Skincare products that RUINED my skin...part 1!
Here are 10 products that I used to use and what I think of them. Check out other post showing my BEFORE & AFTER photos! 📸 These are the products/ routine that I showed my dermatologist, but there are more products that I used along with these! Stay tuned for my NEW routine! 1️⃣Mario Badescu Rose Facial Spray with aloe, herbs and rosewater. $7 for 4 oz ⭐️⭐️Review: Overall this product did not improve my overall skin. The ingredients are very cheap and are basically water and fragrance. 2️⃣ PractivMD deep cleansing face wash. $30 for 6 oz ⭐️⭐️Review: This face wash was super annoying with the tiny blue balls that they put in the scrub. This scrub stripped my skin of moisture, and I also used it too many times a day. 3️⃣Shea moisture Bamboo Charcoal Hydrating Gelee Moisturizer. $11 for 2 oz ⭐️⭐️⭐️Review: This moisturizer was a bouncy Jelly texture that was fun to put on my face. There was some good ingredients in the product. 4️⃣Thayer’s Witch Hazel Rose scented Toner. $11 for 12 oz ⭐️⭐️Review: Basically a waist of money, when you can find better ingredients than Witch Hazel. 5️⃣Sheer Cover Nourishing Moisturizer spf 15. $15 for 2 oz ⭐️⭐️⭐️Review: This product was super lightweight and had no white cast. The sun protection is too little though (spf 15). 6️⃣Clean & Clear Dual Action Moisturizer with Salicylic Acid step 3. $6.39 for 4 oz ⭐️Review: This product would burn. Not sting, but burn, for a long time and be painful. 7️⃣Olay Clearly Clean Acne Treatment Scrub with essence of citrus-mint. *discontinued ⭐️Review: This product broke me out once I used it. Also very stripping and rough to my face. 8️⃣Basis Cleaner Clean Face Wash. $6 for 6 oz ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Review: This was the best cleanser that I had back then. Gentle but has fragrance. 9️⃣Differn Acne treatment gel. $16 for 0.5 oz ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Review: This product worked well, but also dried my face out. Make sure to buy a thicker cream for face and do research before buying. 🔟Pop Vibrating Face Scrubber mini. $25 from Tjmax ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Review: Gave my face a nice gentle exfoliation and helped deeper clean my face with the vibrations. Stay tuned for a Part 2 of products that I used to use!🔜 Follow me for more content and comment any questions you have for me. 🤍 ~Products: MARIO BADESCU - Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater proactiv - Deep Cleansing Face Wash THAYERS - Rose Petal Facial Toner #Sheer Cover - Nourishing moisturizing spf 15[products]#[ThreeStars] Clean&Clear - Share ESSENTIALS Dual Action Moisturizer #Olay - Clearly clean acne treatment scrub with Essence of citrus-mint[products]#[OneStar] basis - Cleaner Clean Face Wash DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel POP SONIC - Leaflet Facial Cleansing Device #Shea Moisture - Bamboo Charcoal Hydrating Gelee Moisturizer[products]#[ThreeStars]

My night routine 🌚
My night routine 🌚
Hello beautiful people ! This is my nightly routine for acne prone and oily skin. For starters, as in my day routine I use the same two face washes that I use in the morning. But if anyone has any suggestions for a better oil cleanser for oily skin I would love to hear it ! Also with any of these products because this routine is all I have right now, but it isn’t working for my skin anymore ! But here is my opinion on these products! The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% this product is amazing !!! Especially for my skin! My skin is EXTREMELY OILY, and when I started using this it did wonders for my oil ! It may have broke me out a little and that’s why I ranked it four stars, but still amazing. The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA same thing as my morning routine, I use this as an eye cream and it works amazing ! Provides the right amount of moisture for the under eye. PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator this product is in between for me. I do believe I overexfoliated my face at first and it dried the heck out of my skin and then when I stopped using it and started again, I broke out like crazy. I have recently reduced to only 3 times a week at night, but it’s still breaking me out. This product worked well at first, and I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong or it’s the product, but I’m not a huge fan. And if anyone has any other suggestions PLEASE HELP ME 🤣 The Ordinary - Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% the feeling of this product is WACK. It feels very silicony and I only use it with Paulas choice. I do like that it makes my skin feel less oily because it mattifies my skin, but other than that I have seen no difference within my skin from this product. CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion I LOVE THIS PRODUCT !!! It’s so good and lightweight which is exactly what I need ! I never feel oily after using it, and it provides such a good layer of moisture even when I don’t use any other products listed above. IF ANYONE HAD ANY SUGGESTIONS OR HELP PLEASE HELP ME 🥺 my skin isn’t doing well, and it needs severe help. I have never stopped breaking out nor have I cleared up my skin in a LONG time. So if anyone knows of products that help with rough skin/acne I would love to hear what you guys have to offer !! :)

My skin improves when I don’t wash it??
My skin improves when I don’t wash it??
Hi there! I’ve been into skincare pretty heavily in the last year. Ive struggled with hormonal and cystic acne since I was 4 (there’s pictures I swear!). While 2 rounds of accutane, age, and a hundred different regimens have made my skin a lot better today, I still get acne. I’ve experimented with serums, exfoliants, toners, cleansers, and the whole shebang and I thought I was doing it right. My routine: CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin PM The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution every other PM BURT’S BEES - Natural Acne Solutions Clarifying Toner AM/PM The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% PM LUÉ by Jean Seo - BALANCE AM The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution once a week/two weeks CeraVe - Resurfacing Retinol Serum PM pūrlisse - Watermelon + Charcoal Purifying Cleanser AM MARIO BADESCU - Vitamin C Serum AM When I was away from home, I didn’t wash it at all except with makeup wipes and my skin cleared up!Its also stayed clear for almost 2 weeks now and I haven’t had skin this clear in 3 years! I have sensitive normal skin with an oily T-zone. Should I keep not washing my face?

Help with skincare steps
Help with skincare steps
Pic unrelated its just my skin 🤣 Skin Type: Oily/Normal Sensitive So, I’m kind of new to skincare in general and I’ve seen so many people say “first cleanse/second cleanse” The only cleanser I use is The Ordinary - Squalane Cleanser(ingredients on second picture)- its a balm like consistency. It says its oil free but it rubs into in the skin like an oil. So if oil reacts with oil and water with water... what should I be using first if I get another cleanser? I use this primarily in both AM and in PM (even when I take my makeup off, though sometimes it takes two washes to get off) I don’t have any problems necessarily with this cleanser, but I’d like something to take care of any extra dirt/small acne spots when they do arise. Plus, I just bought The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil, and I don’t know when to use that in my skincare steps either, plus it says to use after water based treatments which I don’t know if I have.. What product do you think I should use as a second cleanse? Also, do I use first or second cleanser when I have no makeup on, and should I use it both in AM/PM?

Help!!
Help!!
Im 18 and I’ve been struggling with teenage and hormonal acne for around a year now, I just started getting cystic acne around March!! I do a lot of exercise and whenever I sweat all my makeup starts to run and my red blemished face is on show to everyone to see! I watch SKINCAREBYHYRAM so I do know my skincare. But I would still like some help to get rid of my redness and irritation! Ps. I always pick at my face and I need help/tips on stopping that! Here’s what I’ve been using recently: LA ROCHE-POSAY - Micellar Cleansing Water Ultra and Makeup Remover - does a good job removing makeup LA ROCHE-POSAY - Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel Cleanser for Oily Skin - I love this cleanser, it gets all the gunk and oil out but isn’t too stripping - fragrance free yay! The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% - A must have! - Calms my redness a bit and helps/stops excess oil production The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 - Helps control oil production - leaves my skin feeling hydrated OLE HENRIKSEN - Counter Balance Oil Control Hydrator - Never leaves me oily - Sometimes I have to add a different moisturizer for the dry patches because its very mattifying CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion - Simple and gentle - Very hydrating sometimes I wake up oily in T-zone PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator - Use at night - evens skin texture - bye bye black heads! PAULA'S CHOICE - Clear Extra Strength Daily Skin Clearing Treatment - Benzol Peroxide gets rid of large under the skin bumps before they turn into cystic acne - Dries EVERYTHING so moisturizer is a must! COSRX - Cosrx Acne Pimple Master Patch - Life saver when I got a big ass white head in the middle of my forehead, shrinks them down over night - Helps heal the spots that I’ve picked (oopsie) - Stops me from picking during the night time Dr. PAWPAW - Ultimate Red - Favourite lip balm Okay so I think I do a pretty solid job at skincare, I’m just really guilty of picking😤☹️ Need some help with that!!!

HELP! Nothing is getting better!!
HELP! Nothing is getting better!!
Hi, Just want some help! I’ve been using the Ordinary products, using the glycolic acid toned every other day, using vitamin C in the morning with an SPF and on the nights I don’t use glycolic acid, and sometimes using lactic acid. I use the squalene cleaner morning and night. I use the natural moisturising factors after my serums and SPF. Sometimes when my skin is dry I use jojoba oil also But my skin is still clogged! I don’t know how to get rid of it! And those bumps. I hope you can see in the pictures. I can squeeze them and stuff comes out. I was told by the ordinary rep to use ordinary products together as they help each other be more effective. I was using niacinamide for a while and it improved my skin at the start, and i’ve gone through a bottle and a half, but it wasn’t helping and my skin got worse From what I understand, I have fungal acne on my chin. I have been using the 2% Nizoral as a mask a few time a week Any ideas? I feel like I’ve been doing everything right. I was using cerave, and the moisturiser with niacinamide , and it didn’t help. So I switched over to the ordinary products. Thanks for any advice The Ordinary - Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12% The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 10% + HA The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA The Ordinary - Squalane Cleanser

The #mascne is real, y’all
The #mascne is real, y’all
Sorry my posts have been so infrequent here lately, I have been stressed to the max taking state exams to make sure I have a job this fall! It’s been wild and I’ve had to be in a mask quite a bit taking those long tests at the testing center! I haven’t broke out in forever but all of a sudden I’m covered in bumps and realize it’s from being out more and having to use a mask. I wanted to show you guys that this happens to everyone! Even if your skin isn’t acneic, turns out it doesn’t like being in a hot humid mask for hours on end. I’m using a combo of Niacinamide, zit stickers, and barrier cream to fight this BUT I wanted to show you guys how normal it is. I will take a couple of uncomfortable pimples over putting myself or others in danger! alba BOTANICA - Acne Pimple Patch LA ROCHE-POSAY - Cicaplast Baume B5 for Dry Skin Irritations The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%
