So FARMACY - Honeymoon Glow Serum
is one of those products that I see EVERYWHERE. I’ve read countless reviews on it, and many people claim it’s their holy grail exfoliating serum. Not only does it resurface, but it also hydrates and clarifies skin... in other words, it does it all. I’ve only used this a few times, but I can already tell it lives up to the hype! For reference, my main skin concerns are acne and the texture and pigmentation left behind. This serum is great for those with these concerns. This serum has a 14% blend of lactic, glycolic, citric, and fruit acids, as well as salicylic acid from willow bark. It also contains hyaluronic acid and honey to hydrate skin and counteract any potential irritating effects from the acids. This is a night serum, given the high concentration of acids. I use tretinoin at night, but since tretinoin should NOT be combined with acids, I decided to take 2 nights off from tret every week and use this as my treatment instead. I use this after a hydrating toner and before my thick nighttime cream. The first time I used it, I noticed the *slightest* tingle, but nothing painful or uncomfortable. The product dispenses well from the pump packaging, and I find that one pump is more than enough to cover my entire face. It spreads very easily and has a slippery texture that reminds me of hyaluronic acid serums. The morning after using it, my skin just looked... good. Bright, glowy, even, and I even think some of my congestion looked cleared up. The second time I used it, I kid you not, my husband looked at me right after I got out of bed the next morning and he said “you’re glowing right now.” He had no knowledge that I used this serum because he doesn’t keep up with all my skincare, but I think that speaks to the efficacy of the product! I can’t wait to finish the bottle and continue to see results from this serum. This is $58 for 1oz, which is definitely pricey for an exfoliant. However, it’s gentler than a lot of similar products due to the honey and hyaluronic acid, and it also contains an impressive blend of acids to target different concerns. Since this is only intended to be used 2-3 times/week, I think this bottle will last me at least 3 months. I’ll definitely be open to repurchasing it because it’s such an elegant formula, it has great ingredients, and it WORKS. For these reasons, I think $58 is a fair price point. #CheriePartner

Shop Sephora- Best Exfoliators
Want bright glowing skin? Have dark spots, acne scarring or freckles? These products are some of the best known to wipe out all those worries! The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution Coming in at just $7.20 you cannot go wrong trying this one out!!! Well, you can if you start out to strong. Cause this baby is STRONG! A whopping 30% AHA is going to give you results. The directions say to leave on up to 10 minutes. I still cannot go past @ 8 and I’m a long time user. This is going to help with blemishes, fine lines, uneven texture, wrinkles, dullness...seriously, it does it all. It has almost 5 full stars on Sephora. But, again, you absolutely have to go slow. It works if you work it! 😉 FARMACY - Honeymoon Glow Serum $58 Next up is my long time bae! She changed the game for me. Farmacy actually ran a promotion using my results. Within just a few days of use I saw dramatic changes in my skin. Changes you could see! I had damage from acne and Honeymoon Glow never fails to deliver. Every time I use this I get the healthiest glow. My husband has even commented (❤️). But when you can see a difference in photos you know! It’s pricy but it’s an absolute must for me. I alternate using this at night with my retinol. So typically I am using it 3-4 nights a week. I’ve never had any adverse effects to using this. YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Yerba Mate Resurfacing Energy Facial $54 Last up and my most recent discovery was a surprise for me. A friend turned me on to YTTP and I am such a fan. I am reluctant to use physical exfoliants so I really was quite hesitant purchasing this one but had heard such amazing things I wanted to give it a try. And...WOW! I gotta say, there is just something about the feel of getting that dead excess skin off the face. This feels like it might be rough but it isn’t. It’s very gentle. My face does get a bit red but it only lasts about 2-3 minutes (it also is left red with the TO Peel). I’m actually picking up my second bottle with the sale. My first was purchased in March and I have a few weeks of use left so it lasts a very long time. You only need about a nickel amount worth. Have you used any of these? Share your favorite exfoliating products below! 😘🍒

Does FOOD belong in SKINCARE or SMOOTHIES?🍑🥬🍯
Fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients that we consume are commonly used in marketing for skincare products, claiming certain benefits. But do all natural foods belong in skincare? See for yourself 😉 🍯 Honey : anti-inflammatory, balances bacteria, speeds up healing of the skin. Often used in products for combatting acne. Very effective, but you should try not to smear raw honey on your face as it could clog your pores if not properly treated. Farmacy is famous for its line of products that effectively use honey! My favorite is FARMACY - Honeymoon Glow Serum which chemically exfoliates while also soothing and moisturizing to prevent irritation. 🥬 Celery : Ingesting celery juice is the latest trend in health and wellness, because it has such a high water content (over 95%) and contains antioxidants including vitamin C. However, adding celery to skincare is likely just a marketing trick, as it likely only adds some extra water to the product, and the antioxidant content likely needs to be boosted with other forms in order to get the best effect. The VOLITION - Celery Green Cream Beauty is hydrating enough for a day cream, but I don’t think including celery makes it all that revolutionary. 🍵 Matcha : Powerful antioxidant and antibiotic. The chlorophyll which makes matcha such a bright green actually helps to convert sunlight to energy and therefore protect our skin from photo-aging. The ECGC compound in matcha is also anti-bacterial and is very helpful for fighting and soothing acne. The Krave - Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser is easily my favorite cleanser due to how gentle and effective it is! 🍑 Peach : Anti-inflammatory, moisturizing, promotes skin metabolism, anti-bacterial, and antioxidant. The leaves contain amino acids, flavanoids, and tannins which are all very beneficial to skin health. The PEACH & LILY - Glass Skin Refining Serum utilizes peach extract for this lovely serum that my skin absolutely drinks up! The results are amazing so I can’t help but believe that peaches are wonderful for our skin! 🍊 Orange : antioxidant, exfoliating, high vitamin C content. Could be irritating to sensitive skin types, especially oils from the peel. This goes for basically any citrus fruit, but it is still a very commonly used ingredient in skin care due to its antioxidant properties. In small doses it can be very beneficial, and it smells great, such as in the OLE HENRIKSEN - Truth Juice Daily Cleanser ! What do you think? Do foods belong in skincare? Whats your favorite food-ingredient? Let me know below!!👇🏼👇🏼

MIRACLE? 🤨
MIRACLE? 🤨
When you read so many good reviews about a product is hard to not give it a try yourself. After 30 days of giving this serum a try. I have mix feelings about it. 🤨 First of all, MAKE SURE TOU SHAKE IT! Initially, I wasn’t doing this and I realized I was basically adding 14% centella to my acne-prone face every day. This is EXTREMELY drying and obviously my skins reaction was to breakout like CRAZY! I’m talking painful big red bumps type of thing. After realizing my rookie mistake. I had to reset my skin. So I gave it a break from the product. After giving my skin time to breathe I gave it a try one more time. This time around SHAKING IT LIKE A MANIC! 😂😅 I guess the damage was already done and my skin didn’t care much for this product. Maybe it was too much for it. For my combination and acne-prone skin, this famous serum was a miss. What about you? Have you tried it?

TLC Framboos: worth it?
TLC Framboos: worth it?
Is DE’s $90 exfoliating serum worth it? To lots of people—yes! To me, no. This serum is pleasant to use: it has a smooth gel texture, it absorbs with minimal tackiness, and it tingles only slightly for me. I like that it has a blend of different acids to tackle multiple issues. However, it’s not my favorite exfoliant that I’ve tried, so I won’t be repurchasing. I just didn’t see dramatic improvements in either my acne or my PIE, which I was hoping it would help. My favorite exfoliant thus far is Dr. Dennis Gross’s extra strength alpha beta peel pads—they erase my dark spots like nothing else I’ve ever tried.

A Two Ingredient Serum
A Two Ingredient Serum
Two ingredients?? Yeah I’m a little baffled myself. I was browsing around on YesStyle just looking at Kbeauty, ya know as one does. And I came across this serum which caught my attention. 🌿The serum was made of 67% Tea Tree Leaf Water and 19.5% Centella Asiática leaf water. Ok so 86.5% of the serum was just two ingredients, so the formula contained just a few other things. Such as: sodium hyaluronate and a few other odd extracts which we don’t usually see in skincare like broccoli and cabbage extract. 🥬🥦 So my point proven. It’s not just two ingredients. Don’t let the marketing get ya guys!! However, I was already too intrigued. The more I read into the product the more I wanted to try it. Especially since I’ve been struggling with my random acne breakouts and redness due to trying so many different things. I needed to give my skin a break from all things random and harsh. I found a tiny sample size and ordered it along with another serum from the brand. A week in and I’m enjoying the results. But it’s still too early for a final review. I’ll update you guys when I finish the tiny sample. What random KBeauty brands have won you guys over with the natural ingredients and brilliant marketing?? As always, if you guys have any recommendations for reviews just throw me a message on my Instagram! Thanks Loves!!

AHA BHA PHA 30 Days Miracle Serum
AHA BHA PHA 30 Days Miracle Serum
You might already know that Su
You might already know that Sunday Riley UFO Facial Oil is my holy grail for treating any kind of acne: blackheads, whiteheads, pimples, cysts, you name it! But then, I saw beaute defile use this Paula's Choice 10% Azelaic Acid Booster as a spot treatment in one of her Instastory. That's enough reason for me to give it a go!⁣ ⁣ So what is it?⁣ ⁣ Paula’s Choice Azelaic Acid Booster is a multi-action booster that suits all skin types and targets acne, hyper-pigmentation and uneven skin tone. It includes 10% concentration, but it also incorporates other ingredients like 0.5% Salicylic Acid and other brightening plant-based ingredients. Research has shown that a 10% concentration is gentle enough but still can improve many of the visible imperfections.⁣ ⁣ Azelaic acid is a naturally-occurring ingredient which is present in the skin. It can also be derived from grains like wheat and barley. It helps acne by regulating the production of keratinocytes (skin cells), which prevents them from building up and clogging your pores. It also supposed to help fading dark spots that acne leaves behind as it selectively target the hyperactive pigment-producing cells.⁣ ⁣ The formula is lightweight and has cream-gel consistency. It's smooth and not grainy, which means it's formulated properly. It spreads quite thinly and absorbs really well as I didn't have to worry about it pilling up. ⁣ ⁣ I’ve been using it for a month as a spot treatment at night. I apply it before my moisturizer, message it directly to the acne and let it sink in for few minutes until it doesn't feel tacky anymore. I also don't feel any sensation at all on my skin when I apply it.⁣ ⁣ I found this product helped to make active acne come to a head just in one night! And it seemed to work really well on deep painful cysts. They are much smaller, less painful, and they disappear in just a few days instead of a couple of weeks. It works the best when you put this on as soon as you feel the cyst rising. Here's the best part: no. flaky. skin! However, I didn't notice any improvement on my acne scars yet. The other great thing about this product is that it’s seriously affordable!

I didn’t know how much I neede
I didn’t know how much I needed this product in my life until I got it 😅 I have pretty clear skin as it is, but if I get a hormonal break out then it scars and says there forever. I was looking for something to work with my AHA/BHA serums to fix this. Since using this, I’ve breakouts to heal much quicker, and previous scars are slowly starting to disappear. It’s a light and fluffy cream that can be either used on its own or it can be mixed with another serum, oil and even a moisturizer. I would for sure recommend this product because of it proved effectiveness and the price is quite reasonable 😍PAULA'S CHOICE - 10% Azelaic Acid Booster
