Farmacy Farmer’s Market Kit 😄😐🙁
Me: dry-combo, currently acne prone, sensitive or very sensitive For my first dive into Farmacy products, I purchased the FARMACY - Farmer's Market Kit so that I could try a variety of their bestsellers. Overall, a good tester kit for your money with adequately sized samples! (Much bigger than the Glow Recipe sample sizes.) From favorite to least favorite: FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm This was my first ever cleansing balm and I fell in love 😍 Your skin feels so smooth and moisturized afterwards. As a dry skin person I often used this as a single cleanse and didn’t notice any breakouts. I knocked off a star because it contains fragrance.... but actually I LOVE the smell... I just worry about my sensitive skin. The next balm I’m trying out is the GOOD MOLECULES - Instant Cleansing Balm FARMACY - Daily Greens Oil-Free Gel Moisturizer with Moringa and Papaya This was a nice lightweight moisturizer. I didn’t like the smell quite as much as the balm but it was fine. It did leave a bit of a shiny sticky residue for me but that went away when i added oil on top. Overall, not enough moisture for my skin right now, but I could see myself loving it in the summer! The next lightweight moisturizer I am trying is the CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion FARMACY - Honey Potion Renewing Antioxidant Hydration Mask I wanted to love this one, and about half the time I loved it, but about half the time I HATED it. When it was good, it made my skin feel so smooth, hydrated, and brightened. When it was bad, it BURNED my skin, horribly at times. I guess it depends on how my skin barrier is doing? Probably not a repurchase since it was so unpredictable on my sensitive skin. I love honey and would love to hear thoughts on other honey masks to try! FARMACY - Very Cherry Bright 15% Clean Vitamin C Serum with Acerola Cherry My least favorite of the group, this one was just too sticky for me. I also didnt like the smell... it was almost sour smelling? Idk, just not for me. I’m now trying the Mad Hippie - Vitamin C Serumfor my next vitamin C product. I also now purchased FARMACY - Cheer Up Brightening Vitamin C Eye Cream with Acerola Cherry and it is too soon for a full review but right now I am liking it a lot! It is not sticky, and does not have the funny smell of the serum. What do you guys think?? What Farmacy products should I try next? I’m eyeing the FARMACY - Honey Drop Lightweight Moisturizeror the FARMACY - Honey Halo Ultra-hydrating Ceramide Moisturizerand the FARMACY - Honeymoon Glow Serumand maybe the FARMACY - Whipped Greens: Oil-Free Foaming Cleanser With Moringa and Papaya!! Let me know what you think!
Honey Honey 🍯
Want to wake up glowing and ready to show off your fresh face? Then look no further than FARMACY - Honeymoon Glow Serum This product is a resurfacing night serum with glycolic acid , AHA’s, and BHA’s. This 3 in 1 product provides the following benefits: “Refines pores. BHA from willow bark, a natural source of salicylic acid, helps visibly diminish pore size. Gently exfoliates. Flower acids from hibiscus extract help exfoliate and clarify skin. Perfect for all skin types. Hyaluronic acid, along with our proprietary honey blend, deliver intense yet gentle hydration to ensure skin is never dry or over-stripped. I use this no more than every other night. I have a plethora of serums, so I like to rotate them. And I don’t like to use an exfoliant everyday, even if it is a gentle one like this. Make sure to be generous with your moisturizer following this, and maybe opt for one that’s more hydrating. I love my GLOW RECIPE - Banana Soufflé Moisture Cream however, I am pressed on Farmacy’s honey line, so I think I will be purchasing FARMACY - Honey Halo Ultra-hydrating Ceramide Moisturizerfor night time use. This picture is no makeup, no filter, just a natural radiance thanks to this HG serum. ✨🍯 🤩🌙
When you read so many good reviews about a product is hard to not give it a try yourself. After 30 days of giving this serum a try. I have mix feelings about it. 🤨 First of all, MAKE SURE TOU SHAKE IT! Initially, I wasn’t doing this and I realized I was basically adding 14% centella to my acne-prone face every day. This is EXTREMELY drying and obviously my skins reaction was to breakout like CRAZY! I’m talking painful big red bumps type of thing. After realizing my rookie mistake. I had to reset my skin. So I gave it a break from the product. After giving my skin time to breathe I gave it a try one more time. This time around SHAKING IT LIKE A MANIC! 😂😅 I guess the damage was already done and my skin didn’t care much for this product. Maybe it was too much for it. For my combination and acne-prone skin, this famous serum was a miss. What about you? Have you tried it?

TLC Framboos: worth it?
Is DE’s $90 exfoliating serum worth it? To lots of people—yes! To me, no. This serum is pleasant to use: it has a smooth gel texture, it absorbs with minimal tackiness, and it tingles only slightly for me. I like that it has a blend of different acids to tackle multiple issues. However, it’s not my favorite exfoliant that I’ve tried, so I won’t be repurchasing. I just didn’t see dramatic improvements in either my acne or my PIE, which I was hoping it would help. My favorite exfoliant thus far is Dr. Dennis Gross’s extra strength alpha beta peel pads—they erase my dark spots like nothing else I’ve ever tried.

A Two Ingredient Serum
Two ingredients?? Yeah I’m a little baffled myself. I was browsing around on YesStyle just looking at Kbeauty, ya know as one does. And I came across this serum which caught my attention. 🌿The serum was made of 67% Tea Tree Leaf Water and 19.5% Centella Asiática leaf water. Ok so 86.5% of the serum was just two ingredients, so the formula contained just a few other things. Such as: sodium hyaluronate and a few other odd extracts which we don’t usually see in skincare like broccoli and cabbage extract. 🥬🥦 So my point proven. It’s not just two ingredients. Don’t let the marketing get ya guys!! However, I was already too intrigued. The more I read into the product the more I wanted to try it. Especially since I’ve been struggling with my random acne breakouts and redness due to trying so many different things. I needed to give my skin a break from all things random and harsh. I found a tiny sample size and ordered it along with another serum from the brand. A week in and I’m enjoying the results. But it’s still too early for a final review. I’ll update you guys when I finish the tiny sample. What random KBeauty brands have won you guys over with the natural ingredients and brilliant marketing?? As always, if you guys have any recommendations for reviews just throw me a message on my Instagram! Thanks Loves!!

AHA BHA PHA 30 Days Miracle Serum
You might already know that Sunday Riley UFO Facial Oil is my holy grail for treating any kind of acne: blackheads, whiteheads, pimples, cysts, you name it! But then, I saw beaute defile use this Paula's Choice 10% Azelaic Acid Booster as a spot treatment in one of her Instastory. That's enough reason for me to give it a go! So what is it? Paula’s Choice Azelaic Acid Booster is a multi-action booster that suits all skin types and targets acne, hyper-pigmentation and uneven skin tone. It includes 10% concentration, but it also incorporates other ingredients like 0.5% Salicylic Acid and other brightening plant-based ingredients. Research has shown that a 10% concentration is gentle enough but still can improve many of the visible imperfections. Azelaic acid is a naturally-occurring ingredient which is present in the skin. It can also be derived from grains like wheat and barley. It helps acne by regulating the production of keratinocytes (skin cells), which prevents them from building up and clogging your pores. It also supposed to help fading dark spots that acne leaves behind as it selectively target the hyperactive pigment-producing cells. The formula is lightweight and has cream-gel consistency. It's smooth and not grainy, which means it's formulated properly. It spreads quite thinly and absorbs really well as I didn't have to worry about it pilling up. I’ve been using it for a month as a spot treatment at night. I apply it before my moisturizer, message it directly to the acne and let it sink in for few minutes until it doesn't feel tacky anymore. I also don't feel any sensation at all on my skin when I apply it. I found this product helped to make active acne come to a head just in one night! And it seemed to work really well on deep painful cysts. They are much smaller, less painful, and they disappear in just a few days instead of a couple of weeks. It works the best when you put this on as soon as you feel the cyst rising. Here's the best part: no. flaky. skin! However, I didn't notice any improvement on my acne scars yet. The other great thing about this product is that it’s seriously affordable!
PAULA'S CHOICE-10% Azelaic Acid Booster
I didn’t know how much I needed this product in my life until I got it 😅 I have pretty clear skin as it is, but if I get a hormonal break out then it scars and says there forever. I was looking for something to work with my AHA/BHA serums to fix this. Since using this, I’ve breakouts to heal much quicker, and previous scars are slowly starting to disappear. It’s a light and fluffy cream that can be either used on its own or it can be mixed with another serum, oil and even a moisturizer. I would for sure recommend this product because of it proved effectiveness and the price is quite reasonable 😍PAULA'S CHOICE - 10% Azelaic Acid Booster
