How to Use a Red Lipstick 💄as a Concealer?
Need a color corrector to help cover your under-eyes? I have a wheatish skin tone and shadows of dark circles under my eye. Today I want to share how I use a red lipstick as under-eye bag concealer. This beauty hack is aim to ideally cover and masking signs of fatigue under eye area..I’ve seen a lot of tutorials and tried it out myself, I do found that those dark circles will be gone in no time. I read many reviews and did see a lot of complaints on this hack as a fail. However, it is the techniques that’s makes the difference on fail or holy grail. You can use red lipstick to conceal dark under eye circles. What I did is to apply a thin layer around my under eye area, Dab a little under the eye lids with my fingers. I am using a creamy semi matte lipstick from loreal. ( I just found this one that I havent been using for at least half a year)Then, I use a small makeup brush to evenly blended out and gently pat it in. After that, I would cover with my concealer! This way it covers the redish. You can also choose to blend it out together with a beauty blender. Then I just apply a thin layer of foundation and use loose powder to finish it up. This hack does a great job on covering my green eyebags than normaly concealers. However, I do found that my overall makeup has a more pinkish finish than normal. My hacks here would be #1 choose the right texture of lipstick, a creamy one would make it easier to blend out without a gooey feeling. #2 choose the right color. Orange-based concealers will counteract the blue undertone of dark circle Overall this hack does work for covering dark circles under eye, however, it is a lot of extra work that you’ll need to do. I dont know how I am gonna rate this technique. let me know what you think! L'ORÉAL - Color Riche Ultra-Matte Lipstick

How to look good for a Zoom call 🗣
It’s all about the lighting ladies and gents! You neeeeeed to manipulate the lighting in your surroundings AND on your face. How? Highlight, brightening, and contour. For under eyes use a brightening color corrector that reflects light. I use BECCA - Under Eye Brightening Corrector and it works really well to help out my dark circles. It brightens with the peachy tone and has a sight shimmer to reflect light. Really great product! I also use MAYBELLINE - Instant Anti Age Eraser Concealer which is such an affordable and great product. Can crease sometimes so less is more! It really helps conceal and hydrate my under eyes. Lastly I use the tarte - Park Ave Princess Waterproof Face & Body Bronzer (the palette version) to contour and accentuate my features. A great tip is to place the contour HIGH on the cheekbones for a lifted look. Add some yellow highlight powder under your eyes and some highlighter on the top of your cheekbone. 💋🤍 #cheriepartner
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer ✨REVIEW✨
I have been using tarte shape tape for years, and loved it! The only problem for me was the price point. It retails for $27, and sometimes I don’t feel like spending that much. I did some research, and came across this concealer by Maybelline. It claims to be a “full coverage under-eye concealer.” It was only $8 so I picked it up. After using a high end concealer for years, I expected this concealer to not work that great in comparison. I have combination skin, a small amount of acne, and regular sized dark circles. And this product really went above and beyond! My face is naturally red/pink, and this evened out my skin tone completely! I haven’t broken out from it either. It is easy application, blends well, and looks flawless, wether I have foundation on under it or not. I would not consider it full coverage, however it is very buildable and easy to achieve full coverage if desired. I know everyone’s skin is different, so this product may not work the same way it did for me. However, if you love Shape Tape, then you’ll find this is a great dupe!✨
Makeup For Video Interviews 🖥✨#CheriePartner
As a May 2020 graduate, I’ve been doing a lot of interviews and phone calls over the quarantine period for jobs and internships. Along the way I picked a few key tips for achieving a flawless, professional makeup look perfect for video calls. All I want is to make the impression that I’m put together and perfect for the role! Of course, everyone has different kinds of makeup looks, and specific parts of makeup that make it “signature” to them (like a strong winged liner, or bold lip, or even a super bare natural face!). But for me, my “signature” looks is something quite fresh-faced, glowy skin, defined eyes and a tinted lip! Tips: 1) Stay true to yourself! If you never wear a red lip, don’t wear a red lip to the interview. If you always have a beautiful eyeshadow look on, definitely put some eyeshadow on! The truth is, when you feel most like yourself, the more confident you will appear to others. 2) Video calls tend to wash you out, so if you’re applying a color product maybe add a little more than usual! Here is what I used: HOURGLASS - Illume Sheer Color Trio This is a the perfect product to bronze, blush AND highlight the face! The formula is super creamy and soft, but definitely packs a punch with its pigment. The highlight also gives off a beautiful glow on camera! ESTĒE LAUDER - Double Wear Radiant Concealer I don’t feel the need for a foundation on camera as blemishes are generally not visible depending on video resolution. But I have really bad under eye circles that can make me look tired, so I always want a little concealer just to brighten up my face and eyes. This one is medium coverage with a natural finish on the skin. COLOURPOP - Brow Boss Pencil I always define my brows because they help to frame the face. This is an amazing inexpensive one that has the perfect waxy formula for adding fullness to the brows that looks natural. NUDESTIX - Magnetic Luminous Eyeshadow Defining my eyes is important to me because it’s a feature of my face that I really like. So a little glowy eyeshadow helps to bring attention to my eyes, helps me look a little more awake and defines it a little more. MAYBELLINE - Lash Sensational Mascara Full Fan Effect I know it’s near impossible to see individual lashes on video call but it helps a lot with defining my eyes! It also makes me feel more put together too just because I’d feel off if I had a full face of makeup and didn’t have mascara on. lisa eldridge - True Velvet Lipstick in Velvet Muse This is one of my favorite matte lipsticks because it’s super pigmented, non-drying but gives a matte finish. I add a little balm beforehand to keep my lips moisturized and to sheer the color a little. This is definitely a my-lips-but-better kind of shade.

Concealer mistakes I used to make
The biggest under eye concealer mistake I used to make was NOT using a color corrector before applying concealer. The first photo I applied concealer directly and the under eye circles are still quite prominent In the second photo the only difference is I first applied a color corrector to the dark areas of the circles, then afterwards dabbing the concealer on top. I think you can see a very noticeable difference between the two pictures! tarte - Maracuja Creaseless Undereye Concealer best. Concealer. Ever. Kaja - Cat Nap Under Eye Brightener This is not my usual color corrector but I decided to try something new. It’s a bit too dark for my skin tone but it still works! It’s also a little too thin and watery for my liking overall.

Don't always say you can't cover dark circles, maybe you just miss the right tool
I have dark circles under my eyes, but recently I found an amazing product that can perfectly cover them. I can't wait to share it with you! I used to apply concealer with my fingers, but I found that the effect was not obvious. After that, I read the online tutorial and bought a sponge to apply concealer. I didn't know whether the sponges I chose was wrong or what, the concealer could not be evenly applied. A few days ago, I used a friend's eye concealer brush and I knew what the problem was. It turned out that I had been using the wrong tool. I should choose concealer brush!!! Now let's talk about the specific steps of covering dark circles. 1. Use orange concealer to neutralize skin color first, or use a matte lipstick you have. 2. Dip the concealer brush in concealer and apply a small amount of it on your dark circles, and repeat the steps until they are totally convered. Remeber that you should choose creamy concealer, or you can't use the brush. 3. Use setting prowder with this concealer brush. Don't say your concealer is not good anymore! Just buy an eye concealer brush!
These are my top three drugstore concealers!
These concealers are my ride or die and I can’t wait to share how and why I use each one! First up is the MILANI - Conceal + Perfect Longwear Concealer This concealer dries down to more of a matte finish so if you have oily skin this is going to be your new best friend! I love using this when I want a full coverage look. I apply with a damp beauty sponge. I typically only use this under my eyes but you can use it to cover blemishes as well. I would say people with dry skin might not love this concealer but if you are super oily you will be obsessed. Second is MAYBELLINE - Fit Me Concealer This concealer will work for pretty much any skin type and is so user friendly! I love blendable formula and high light weight it is. This is great for under the eyes or for covering up blemishes! I apply with my fingers or a damp beauty blender. Last but not least is MAYBELLINE - Instant Anti Age Eraser Concealer This concealer is magical and perfect for aging skin or if you have fine lines that tend to cling to concealer. I love this for a more natural look! I apply with a damp beauty blender or my fingers! This works for all skin types.

4 Steps！Not only helpful to your lip care but also make your lip stain long-lasting!
As we know many lipsticks contain lead, which is extremely harmful and causes irreversible health damage. Worried about these harmful side-effects of using lipsticks, I started to use natural organic lip stains which are all-natural and non-toxic instead. But as lip stains are really, really thin, you’re going to see imperfections a lot easier than if you were using a lip cream or a lipstick. Since I haved used lip stains for a long time, here I will give you some metods to make your lip stain last all day. Exfoliate and Moisturize Dry, flaky pieces of skin will be in full view because of the texture of lip stains are usually thin. So Moisturize often and use a product with little or natural fragrance so your lips don’t dry out quickly. Apply Lip Primer Lip primer works quite similarly to lipstick or lip balm. Simply apply a thin coat to your lips before applying lip color to help keep your lip stain in place for hours at a time. When wearing lip stain, apply a thin layer of lip balm first, followed by a thin layer of lip primer to prepare your lips for the final color. Use a Lip Liner The color is going to stick around, but it’s not going to apply as precisely as something like a standard lipstick tube. An easy way to combat this is to use a lip liner of the same exact color or something a little bit lighter, just so you have some guidelines when applying the lip liner. After applying lip liner, really blend those lines in so there isn’t a stark difference between the lip stain and the lip liner. Use a natural lip stain The formula of natural lip stains are always paraben-free, sulfate-free, and cruelty-free. They only use high quality natural and organic ingredients and never any harsh or toxic chemicals. In their formula, you will find wholesome ingredients such as organic coconut, organic Shea butter, peppermint oil, iron oxides for pigmentation, jojoba oil, and candelilla wax, which help improve the circulation in your lips and make your lips appear plumper. Although Beautiful color looks are attractive，Keeping your lips healthy is most important. Have a try to natural lip stains and follow these step, you will own a soft , full-looking and nice lip！！！
my everyday no makeup makeup look
these drugstore make-up products are simply amazing for a no make-up look. First off let me just say that each of these products was under $10 first is e.l.f. - Poreless Putty Primer which was $8 at target. this primer keeps my skin nice and poreless. it's silky smooth and feels weightless on my skin. people say it's a dupe for the tatcha silk primer, but I wouldn't know as I've never worn the tatcha primer. next is the MAYBELLINE - Fit Me Dewy + Smooth Foundation i love this foundation, because it's lightweight and breathable. however I only wear this is I'm going out for more than an hour. otherwise I just go foundationless. I got this for $6 at the dollar store. wet n wild - Photo Focus Concealer i pare this with a yellow eyeshadow under my eyes and it conceals the dark circles. again I only use this when going out for more than an hour. I got this for $4 at the dollar store wet n wild - Megaglo Contouring Palette i only contor my crease and nose for everyday looks. this is a great product for contouring and highlighting. so I use the highlighting portion to highlights my T-Zone. I got this for $4 at Target. I have naturally red cheeks. so I don't use a blush for everyday makeup. however I do like thee.l.f. - e.l.f. Round Blush it was only $3 at Target. I only use it for dates, outings, and parties. Coty AIRSPUN - Airspun Translucent Extra Coverage Loose Powder so this setting powder is not my absolute favorite setting powder, but it is a good drugstore setting powder. I got mine at Target for about $6. for eyebrows I just take a eyeshadow close enough to match my eyebrow hair color and I used that to fill in my eyebrows then I set it with a clear brow gel. also I can use this before primer in case the eyeshadow gets too messy. wet n wild - MegaLast Breakup-Proof Black Liquid Eyeliner is simply amazing. I got this for $4 at CVS. most liquid eyeliners have a shiny look to them but this liquid eyeliner is completely matte. MAYBELLINE - Volum' Express The Colossal Big Shot Washable Mascara I use two coats of this mascara and it does way better then three coats of theSEPHORA COLLECTION - LashCraft Length & Volume Mascara which is a high-end mascara. Maybelline is about $8 and Sephora is $12 MILANI - Bold Color Statement Matte Lipstick the shade color names are simply empowering. I use the shade 04, the name for it is I am strong. it's a peachy nude color. I pair that with the NYX - Butter Gloss in creme brulee. Milani was $7 at CVS and Nick's why $5 Target. to set my makeup I use a simple DIY setting spray which consists of aloe vera gel witch hazel, and water. if you wanted to sent this you could add a few ounces of perfume or some essential oil. this is my go-to everyday drugstore no makeup makeup look. I hope you try out some of these amazing products and DIYs.

Over-Exfoliated Skin: What To Do NextOver-exfoliation has a plethora of symptoms, ranging from redness and inflammation, tightness of the skin, dryness and flakiness, irritation bumps, rashes, breakouts, and a stinging sensation. With the rise in popularity of at-home chemical exfoliation, it’s easier than ever before to take it a step too far. Everyone is trying out TikTok-famous products like The Ordinary’s AHA 30% and BHA 2% Peeling Solution without an understanding of how strong it really is. Chemical exfoliation is all the rage now, due to its ability to clear up acne, even out the skin tone, and give you a glowy look. But none of these things will happen if you don't exfoliate properly!Sep. 29
