🍯🧸Don’t Despair, Honey Bear!
I’m a big Briogeo fan! Both me & my bf use a lot of their hair products. I’ve been using them for years, but recently got him more into taking care of his dry/brittle curly hair. I ordered him so many things to try, Olaplex & all kinds of repairing treatments, but Briogeo oils, masks & his personal favorite Briogeo - Farewell Frizz Rosarco Milk Leave-in Conditioning Spray totally transformed his hair! 🧸I was so excited to see the adorable Honey Bear back in stock! I never got to try it before! I believe this cutie is still limited edition & only available in this set, but I hope I’m wrong, because I will continue to repurchase! Briogeo - Merry Multi-Masking Kit Ft. Don’t Despair Repair Deep Conditioning Honey Bear Hair Mask $36/set of 3 hair masks I bought this as a very early xmas gift for both of us... 🍯girl I neeeeded that honey bear! This would make a great holiday gift, or to split up as stocking stuffers for your fam! I only knock off a ⭐️because I really wasn’t into one them scent-wise, but that will not be everyone’s experience. 🎁 Don’t forget to support black owned brands this holiday season! This giftset includes: One full size 8 oz Honey Bear & two 2 oz tubes 🐻🍯Briogeo - Don't Despair, Repair! Honey Moisture Deep Conditioning Mask This is definitely my favorite. Not just because it’s so freakin cute, but the formula is great! I have thick wavy hair that needs a lot of hydration & moisture. This is it! Smells like real Honey, which is also the 8th ingredient. Honey is an excellent hydrator/natural humectant. The formula also contains moisturizing Argan, Almond, Avocado & Rosehip oils. It also has Apple & Ginseng extracts! I absolutely loved how soft & manageable my hair felt afterwards + my hair smelled so amazing & natural! 🥝🥑Briogeo - Be Gentle, Be Kind Avocado + Kiwi Mega Moisture Superfoods Hair Mask I also loved this formula so much! My hair was so soft afterwards & also smells amazing! Real Kiwi extract (9th ingredient) lends itself to this amazing Kiwi-Strawberry smoothie vibe. Avocado oil is the 8th ingredient. It’s very moisturizing & the color (of all 3) comes from natural sources. This crazy green likely comes from the beneficial Algae, Spinach, Aloe & Turmeric extracts. 🌹🥥Briogeo - Don't Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Hair Mask This just wasn’t it for me, I believe I’ve tried it a long time ago & I think it was reformulated. You can see in my swatches, that it isn’t quite as thick as the other 2. It started to slide off my arm where the others didn’t budge. Besides simply not performing as well as the others, the smell really bothered me. I’m not opposed to fragrance especially in hair products, but this was very harsh. It could be a personal thing because it made feel like I couldn’t breathe well & kinda sick to my stomach. Has that sort of sharp cut grass smell. It lasted on my hair too.☹️
I’m not mad... I’m just disappointed...
As a natural redhead with wavy hair, I’m always looking for the next hair miracle that will change my life. But, like all of us, I want it in a bottle. I don’t want to “fix” my wave, I like my wave. But I tend toward naturally frizzy hair that’s just enough to be annoying and just not enough to look styled in any way (no matter how much I actually styled it). Cue the honey bear of dreams. Briogeo - Don't Despair, Repair! Honey Moisture Deep Conditioning Mask I saw ya’ll going on about it over year ago. And I just had to have it. By the time I caught on, it was nowhere to be found. I could only find reviews from those lucky enough to have snagged it... and ya’ll... the jealousy was intense. I was totally convinced that it would be the missing link... the savior of my gentle frizz and general hair unhappiness. I set out on a journey determined to find this magical honey bear. Pretty sure I commented on every single post I saw here begging for info on how I could somehow catch a bottle falling out of a truck. Clearly, then, when I caught wind that Sephora was re-releasing the honey bear, along with two other hair masks in generous sample sizes, I preordered. And I just knew it was going to change my life. Except... it didn’t. At all. And that’s when it all goes downhill. When I ripped open the box with childish glee, I tried to ignore that overly sweet fragrance that was actually super nauseating to me. But honestly... who cares what it really smells like if it works like everyone says it does? (I mean... I kind of care... but this is the holy grail... so onward!) I sang and danced in the shower. Set my phone timer to make sure the mask had more than enough time to penetrate. Wrapped all of my now-honeyed locks in a microfiber towel and was ready to reveal! Even though I was fresh off a trim and did all the things I know my hair needs, I ended up with frizzier hair than I had in 7th grade. I thought I must have clearly done something wrong. So I tried again. And again. And then I tried the two sample masks. Ultimately... it all came back to a whole lot of overly sweet fragranced frizz. I try to buy clean where I can. I really do love natural products. But it took a whole lot of not-natural shine spray to tame my hair after every attempt. I feel like I’ve failed all of you who love it so, so much. The frizz wants what it wants, though, and these were just not it. I’ll stick with my real holy grail, it's a 10 haircare - Silk Express Miracle Silk Hair Mask ...at least until I get my hands on Olaplex anyway. Sorry, cute little honey bear! ☹️
How to Repair My Dry Damaged Hair at Home
First thing first, I want to share my secrete natural haircare product- Coconut oil I’ve seen many Youtubers using coconut oil as a hair treatment and finally decided to give it a try. Gonna explore some new things during quarantine hah. I did a lot of things with my hair last year and it was really damaged. I’ve been looking for haircare products since January. Coconut oil is one of my experiment. You can get it at any grocery or drugstore. It doesn’t has to be the same brand. The result was amazing. What i did is to apply it on my damp hair after shower using my hands to warm it up. The texture changes gets very evenly distributed by time. I also massage my scalp with leftovers on my finger tips just because I don’t want it become too oily. Start with a little and figure the most comfortable amount for your hair type After a while you will notice a different. Your can feel your hair look super healthy and shinny. I’ve been keep doing this for 3 months and recently I’ve gotten many compliments about how my hair looks really nice. put a little dab on my fingers and put it on my hair from the neck down. You can also go a little bit higher but you don’t want to put it on or near your scalp. Morocco oil Treatment MOROCCANOIL - Moroccanoil Treatment I’ve use this product intermittently for 5 years (I like trying new products) but this one is always and still on the top of my hair care lists. I feel like it was too heavy when I first used it years ago, a pump goes a long way. I would apply it on the end of my hair to give the sleek shiny look. I’m not sure if they change the formula to a lighter version or my hair needs more oil when I get older, recently I use 2 pumps and it feels just fine. I like to apply it when my hair is completely dry. It still get a little heavy with a yellow consistency if i apply on my damp hair after shower. Comparing with other product, this oil is still a little heavy. But it is not greasy and works so well for damaged hair. And it is probably geared more towards color treated hair or bleached hair because it brings that supper shiny and glory look to your hair. MOROCCANOIL - Treatment Light They also have a light version and I guess it works for natural hair that is not too damaged. I still prefer the very first version because I think the original works better. One thing that I do not really enjoy about this product is the scent. I has the mid-east spice smell which I am not a big fan of.
Here's how I treat my coarse hair
I'm a big fan of hair dyes and perms, so my hair tends to get very dry and frizzy. Today I'd like to introduce two products that I think are outstanding solutions to the problem of dry hair and frizziness. Kerastase-Chronologist Kerastase is a brand owned by France's Loreal. The product I recommend is Kerastase's high-end star line of black diamond caviar. The product contains rare caviar essences and is rich in vitamins A and E. It also smells good and smells like a men's perfume from Hermes. Its primary function is to gently clean hair and scalp while moisturizing dry and damaged hair. Usage: 1. After shampoo, mix the hair mask and caviar essence in a 1:4 ratio in a bowl. 2. After mixing well, apply on the dry hair and massage with your fingers to make it more easily absorbed. If you have a heated shower cap, you can heat your hair for 10-15 minutes for even better results. If you don't want to heat your hair, you can leave the hair mask on for 30 minutes. 3. Rinse. It is important to note that when mixing caviar essence, be sure to mash the granules of the essence. Otherwise, the effect will be affected. This product is a high-end hair care product, so the price is very high. But it's worth it because the hair becomes very soft and shiny after use. Because the price is high, I usually do it once a month. Moroccanoil Treatment Moroccanoil treatment is hair care oil. It comes in a brown glass bottle and comes with a press pump head, so it's easy to use. This item has 100ml, about two pumps each time is enough, one bottle can be used for several months, very cost-effective. It has no smell and is very safe to use. And the way it's used is to apply the product to the ends of your hair and rub your hands together to help it absorb. It has an oily texture, but instead of looking oily when your hair has been dry, it seems very smooth and fresh.
If you don't know how to determine hair strand type, check this out👉
The first way to discover what kind of hair you have is by determining the diameter of your hair width of your strands. Hair's diameter has nothing to do with the amount hair you actually have. It ' s all about how wide the individual strands are. If you want to figure out what kind of hair you have, go for it, read on. To find out the width, we can start by taking a single strand of hair and laying it flat on sometinng. If you can barely see the hair or feel it between your fingertips, then you have fine hair. If the hair strand looks thick and appears to be textured, then the coarse hair you get it. If your hair is somewhere in-between, then you have a moderate or medium width. Knowing this will help us better determine which types of products we should pick. For coarse hair, has a lot of texture, is prone to frizz, and often doesn ' t retain water. Mine is naturally straight, frizzy, coarse hair. To solve the problem, we must hydrate the coarse hair and use some deep conditioning mask. Best investment you could make for your hair-Briogeo - Don't Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Hair Mask. This brought some life and shine to it while I grow it out and get it healthy again. I usually use it after shampooing, message into my hair, ensuring the conditioner is evenly applied. Leave in for 5 to 10 minutes. I only use it every 2 weeks but I cover my hair with a plastic cap (even a plastic grocery bag works for this) and using a diffuser on my hair dryer. This deep conditioner has been awesome for my dry, coarse hair. This product seems to actually strengthen hair and not just coat it like some other products. If you have the same hair as mine, Highly recommend!!

How to treat your thick oily hair? My secret weapon is...
Don't just be satisfied with shampoo and conditioner for hair care. Shampoo and hair conditioner is not powerful enough for your delicate hair. While a good hair mask can transform your hair texture overnight. Hair mask is an essential product for my hair care. Because I have thick hair with oily scalp but dry hair, I pay a lot of attention to hair care. After I tried so many products, I found hair mask can really bring my hair back to life! If you haven’t tried hair mask and have this or that problems with your thick hair, why not try hair mask! Among various hair mask products, I recommend youBriogeo - Don't Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Hair Mask. It is the best investment you could make for girls who also have thick hair like me! I first heard this mask from Kathleen Lights’ video. She said this is her favorite hair mask. Then I tried it as a sample at Sephora and found it was really as lightweight as it said! This product seems to actually strengthen hair and leave my hair soft and fresh for days. I have been using the product for several months now and it has become my favorite hair mask. Products from this brand contain at least 90% natural ingredients. This hair mask blends rosehip, sweet almond and argan oils with vitamin B5 and biotin to revitalize dry, damaged hair while protecting against future damage. These natural ingredients can bring life, freshness and shiny to your hair without causing any scalp oil. I don’t like those hair mask bring burden to my oily hair. The most important thing is that it is silicone free. Most hair mask include silicone because silicone can make hair feel extremely soft and sleek but which is instant effect. Don’t worry, this hair mask can leave your hair truly soft. You can buy this product from Sephora or Amazon by $36 for 8oz. It can be used once per week. Leave in for five to 10 minutes before rinsing for each time. One bottle of this product could be used for 4 months. So it is worth investing. Did you use this hair mask before? What do you think of it?

Best cream and conditioner for bleached hair
Best cream and conditioner for bleached hair I have coarse hair because I bleached my hair three times to get it blonde. It is a very long and damaging process. Blenching makes my hair dry, fizzy and easy to breakage. The process also hurt my scalp. Bleaching raises my hair’s cuticle and allow Hydrogen peroxide and ammonia penetrate, rapidly and continuously reduce the moisture from my strands. After I blench my hair, I have to use a lot of hair care product to keep my hair hydrated and nourished. I recommend using Pantene’s INTENSE SMOOTHENING LEAVE ON CRÈME. This product can smooth hair and bring moisture to the hair, leaving hair hydrated and smooth. This treatment helps me to plump the hair with moisture, make my hair more elastic. The texture is very thick and even a little bit greasy if applying too much. After using it, my hair immediately becomes smooth. It increases shine and manageability to my hair. I use this almost every day to prevent my hair away from environmental damage, including air-condition and UV rays. I also recommend OGX Extra Strength Coconut Miracle Oil Conditioner. This is a little bit expensive conditioner, costs around 15 dollars. The product has a strong smell of coconut oil. The texture is very thick and creamy with a decent smell. It makes my hair soft and nourished. I only need to use a little to coverage and smooth hair. I have tried many different conditioners that are often very dry. this one gives me a great result to manage my hair. Although blenching my hair raises it's cutlet and makes strands tangle easily, this conditioner seal in moisture and add shine to my coarse hair. I highly recommend these two products to people who have damaged and bleached hair.
Say bye👋 to coarse hair! Thanks to KERASTASE😘
I basically dye my hair once a month, and sometimes even do some bleaching, which makes the ends of my hair super dry and coarse. I had KERASTASE product treatment at the salon, which, to be honest, has visible effects and they are affordable. But the point is, you have to buy your own set of KERASTASE products. When you are at a salon, the hairdresser would just use a little of this hair mask on your hair. But if you buy your own and you can use it freely as you like. In my heart, its hair mask is synonymous with the royal hair mask. It contains the essence of Marine microbiological miracle which can repair damaged hair. It has a legendary fragrance master custom-made fragrance and smells very fancy. After using, the hair is moist and glossy, and the effect of strengthen hair is pleasing. The cream is of a white, frothy texture, just like the moisturized face cream. Applying it to your hair is like applying face cream. It's light but not greasy. These products are expensive for a reason! You will know how good they are after using. When you are drying your hair, even if it's still wet you can definitely feel your hair getting better. When you finish the drying, you would feel the smoothl! This is a series of products I would definitely recommend. Little tip: I suggest you guys use it during a shower. Wash the hair first, apply it to yout hair, wrap the hair with a bath cap, and clean it when you are almost finished. Such effect can be better! Because the heat in the bathroom will let hair mask better absorbed! What kind of KERASTASE products did you try before? Do you like it?
