🌱All Natural Skincare #Farmacy 🍯

Today I want to share another all natural skincare brand - Farmacy. Along with Echinacea GreenEnvy, Farmacy Beauty's products combine natural botanicals & extracts like honey, antioxidants, hyaluronic acid to create clean hydrating products that are cruelty-free, paraben-free, mineral oil-free and free of synthetic fragrance. Here are two of their star products which is also my most recent favorites. FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm
I got a sample size from sephora during checkout and fall in LOVE with it. I’m usually a Clinique Take the Day Off Balm girl. I am a balm remover lover. I used 3 big cans of clinique. Now it’s over the spot of clinique and sitting on the top of my remover list. After finishing the whole jar, I can feel it helped improve the overall appearance of the skin and leaves skin hydrated and silky smooth but not stripped or too dry. This cleansing balm is a 2-in-1 makeup remover + face cleanser. It is softer and more buttery comparing to Clinique. It melts and removes makeup easier. It also gently exfoliates the skin clean and fresh. No rubbing needed. Almost takes off everything. I normally do not go for a second cleaning if not wearing too much makeup. FARMACY - Honey Potion Renewing Antioxidant Hydration Mask
I have to say, this is mask changes my attitude to honey skincare products. It is a renewing antioxidant hydration mask. I didn’t like anything with honey in skincare before. I’ve tried many products that’s either irritating or too sticky that leads to break out. Compared to other honey masks the texture and quality of the mask are unbelievable. I started to use it when my skin is super dehydrated and flaky. I tried from my bff who is a super sensitive dry skin. After cleansing, I just put it on rub to activate and relax for 15 minutes. Once the mask started turning white, it became warm. I was worried about irritation first time trying. When I washed it off, my skin is soft and fresh. What’s amazing about it is that it blur the appearance of my pores! For me it’s like a cleansing and hydrating mask. Now it’s on my weekly mask routine for extra hydration. Definitely recommend to dry and combination dry. You will LOOOOOOVE it.

Asking for tips/suggestions!!!
The Ordinary - Retinol 1% in Squalane haven’t used it for a long period of time to give a review. But there are times i would apply this at night and my skin is feeling soft like a baby’s butt. The way i integrate this product in my routine, is that i would use this only as my active and the rest of my skincare is gentle and basic. Cerave hydratjng cleanser, kiehls calendula toner, then this serum, and finish it with a nourishing cream such as drunk elephant lalaretro whipped cream! I know retinol can be very drying which is why i used the moisturizer that has the most beneficial ingredients. I got myself two bottles thinking i would go through this quick, but i thought wrong. Which is why i started using it on my neck every day, i have some noticeable lines that i would like to get rid of. i would buff it with the cerave lotion, and apply a few drops on the palm of my hands and apply it on my neck and chest. I only use this once a week, ive learned it the hard way and used so much actives at once that my skin became hella sensitive. Any suggestions as to how i could benefit more to this serum? YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Kombucha + 11% AHA Exfoliation Power Tonerno ratings, because i haven’t used it yet! I ended up buying the smaller bottle of it, because for now i’m finishing up the drunk elephant aha/bha serum before i could try this product out. Please give me tips on how to use it, how i can incorporate it in my routine, should i just not have bought it at all? Lol 🆘

🌻 Honey Potion Farmacy Mask 🐝 Review
FARMACY - Honey Potion Renewing Antioxidant Hydration Mask 🐝What it is: A warming honey face mask infused with essential B vitamins and antioxidants to hydrate, smooth and visibly renew the skin, leaving a glowing look. 🐝Important Ingredients: Proprietary honey blend, glycerin, essential B vitamins. 🐝My personal experience: This honey mask is the ultimate luxurious experience. I am a big fan of face masks and I enjoy trying new ones. This one is definitely one of my favorites. Starting with the packaging, it is made from glass which is very good for the environment, the cap is wood which makes it even better, it comes with a magnetic spatula that sticks to the cap so you'll never loose it. The packaging is beautiful and very useful. The mask is sticky like honey but once you massage it into the face it becomes a white cream that easily spreads on the face. It immediately starts to feel warm on the face, this is normal and it is supposed to feel warm like a nice spa facial. I leave it on for 15 minutes and rinse it off. It is very easy to rinse off too. I was concerned at first about my skin reacting to the warming sensation but my skin feels hydrated and fresh after washing it off without any redness. 🐝Would I recommend this product? yes 🐝Would I repurchase? yes The only bad thing about this product is the price ☹ But for the luxurious spa experience that you get out of it it seems reasonable. This jar lasts forever.

Cleanse, mask, and illuminate!
Cleanse, mask, and illuminate! This posts goes out to Glamglow because I love their products, especially their masks! It first started with the Thirstymud Hydrating Treatment - I fell in love with the scent and how much it moisturized my skin over night. Then I tried the Supermud Clearing Treatment and it completely minimized my pores for a pretty decent amount of time! I’m just overall impressed with everything I’ve tried! ✨

Travel skincare tips✈️

You as
Travel skincare tips✈️ You asked, and i’m delivering today y’all! Today i’m going to share my top 3 tips for skincare on the go: ✈️TRAVEL WITH CLEAN SKIN - i always take off my makeup the second i get through security and make sure my face is cleansed and i have a THICC moisturizer or oil on. traveling can wreak havoc on your skin, but proper cleansing and hydration will help your skin manage the stress and keep it looking beautiful throughout your trip. ✈️BRING TWO MASKS - i always pack Sand and skyaus and right now i’m loving Summerfridays jet lag. the most important thing to do while traveling is to listen🗣to🗣your🗣skin. the second i see a pesky breakout forming, i put on my clay mask. the second i feel that my skin is drier than the sahara, i put on a super hydrating sleep mask. ✈️PACK YOUR FAVE CLEANSER & MOISTURIZER - now is not the time to try out new products in this department. these two products are the most important for maintaining your skins balance, so if your products are working of you, don’t leave them at home!!! i will say that i’ve been SHOCKED how much skincare i can get on the plane by doing some research as to what qualifies as a liquid to TSA. i can get my Farmacy green clean & Sand and skyaus mask on the plane no problem! they don’t count as liquids!

✨ My skin has been extra sensi
✨ My skin has been extra sensitive this pregnancy and with rosacea always looming; I have had to be really cautious with my skincare... especially when it comes to exfoliation .... .  💚 tataharperskincare is known for impeccable natural formulations and this duo has certainly lived up to that. I limit myself to exfoliating twice a week; usually a serum mid week and a more heavy duty mask on the weekend... and recently I find myself reaching for these two more often than not. Ever since I read that tataharper layers the regenerating cleanser underneath the resurfacing mask as her go to combination for glowing skin, I always pair them together. The results are always softer, smoother more radiant skin without irritation. I enjoy the smell, the texture, how it feels on the skin... really such a joy to use her products. I dunno if this counts as a review since I didn’t get into the ingredients... but I just felt like sharing a mask I’ve been enjoying during my pregnancy.

This two minute mask has been a game changer for me. Youth to the people released it this spring and it has been a favorite of mine from the very beginning. This mask contains both enzymatic exfoliation and physical exfoliation for a luxe at-home microdermabrasion experience that takes all of three minutes! Featured Ingredients: 🍍enzymatic exfoliants: papain (papaya) and bromelain (pineapple) 🎋physical exfoliants: bamboo and diatomaceous earth 🍵 caffeine: yerba mate and guayusa Instructions: -apply to clean, wet skin...the water on your face helps activate the enzymes -leave for 2 minutes...this gives the enzymes a chance to do their things and break down your dead skin cells cells -add water and gently massage...add even more water for gentler exfoliation. If you have sensitive skin, you can even skip this all together to focus more on the enzymatic exfoliation. Either way be gentle because this stuff is strong! -rinse! WHAT TO EXPECT: ✨the energy facial is very thick. It’s almost difficult to spread, but having a wet face helps and you really only need a thin layer for this to work it’s magic ✨I experience a slight tingling while the mask is on and my face really feels energized once it’s off. This sometimes causes the slightest bit of redness so I like to follow it up with the adaptogen mist for extra soothing. ✨smell is very fresh refreshing and gingery ✨this stuff is strong! You really don’t want to leave it on for more than 2 minutes and I don’t use any other exfoliating products for 24 hours before or after this mask. ✨Ive been using this mask once a week for a few months now and have noticed the my skin is smoother and pores are less clogged ✨at $54 for 2oz, this product isn’t cheap, but with my weekly use, I think it will last me most of a year and it’s so worth it! They also have a mini available in their “with pride” kit to benefit GLSEN if you want to try it out before committing to the whole jar (+support a great cause!) What’s your favorite exfoliating mask?!

Congested Skin Routine
Congested Skin Routine
Even though I test out countless products, my skin also has a tendency to get congested. In those times, I gravitate toward this routine to help me out. This can be done on a weekly basis for maintenance, or just as a “spot treatment” — whatever works for you. Step 1 — Acid Cleanser HOLI FROG - Shasta AHA Refining Acid Wash I love using this cleanser as the first step in my congested skin routine because it has AHAs (alpha hydroxy acids) so it provides a gentle chemical exfoliation. It has a creamy texture, so it doesn’t foam up like a traditional cleanser would, which also contributes to it not being drying like a traditional acid-infused cleanser. Step 2 — Physical Exfoliant CAUDALIE - Deep Cleansing Exfoliator To remove all the stubborn dead skin cells, I like to use a gentle physical exfoliant, and this one is a great way to buff away any excess skin or texture. It doesn’t have a scent to it, so I find it is a good way to provide a good exfoliation without further irritating your skin. I feel like this product is most similar to microdermabrasion in a bottle, so the crystals are very fine and gentle (but you should still always be gentle on your skin). Step 3 — Clay Mask YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Skin Reset Antioxidant Mask I always finish up a decongesting routine with a good clay mask. I recently picked up this YTTP mask which I find really helps to clear my pores but doesn’t dry out my skin at all. It has a pretty thin texture that slowly dries down, but doesn’t get “crackly.” This isn’t as decongesting as other masks, but it also isn’t as drying, so I feel it is a fair trade-off.

Dermalogica: super hot but not worth the hype for me
Dermalogica: super hot but not worth the hype for me
Dermalogica, as its name suggested, is a brand developed and supported by dermatologists. Professionalism is an important name card and that’s also the reason why I opted for these two products from this brand. But after consistent use for about two months, I would say, meh, just these two are not for me, and personally speaking, they are not worth the hype. 1. Multivitamin power recovery masque dermalogica - Multivitamin Power Recovery Mask Multivitamin here stands for vitamin A, C, E and F. These multiple nutrients contained are capable of improving skin conditions. Vitamin A and E are anti-oxidants while Vitamin C should help remove dark spots and improve skin tone. I am a combo skin type and when I bought this I was hoping it would brighten my face and reduce dullness. I am deeply bothered by a face lacking glow resulting from long hours in front of the computer and not enough sleep. The face mask, when putting on my face, feels relaxing and soothing: it’s gentle and is easy to apply. But after washing it off, I just don’t feel anything has changed. Maybe my skin is a bit more soft and supple, but that’s all and that’s also not long-lasting. I tried to use more at one time but again, barely a thing has changed. It’s $59 for 2.4oz?? I mean, I could definitely invest in better masks. 2. Special cleansing gel dermalogica - Special Cleansing Gel I bought this together with the mask to get free shipping. It actually feels great when using: it’s soap-free so it’s gentle and never leaves my face tight. It’s also quite soothing since there are lavender extracts and balm mint. But I feel it may be just too mild to be able to rinse away all the dirt on my face. Plus, it’s $39 for 8.4oz. I could totally find a dupe and I would definitely do that.  Final verdict: not the worth hype. Won’t repurchase for sure!
