Retinol - Anti-Aging Superhero
Retinol is a well-loved ingredients used in many skincare products recently. Recently im more interested in digging into the ingredients in products and surprisingly found that there are so many great ingredients in this drugstore brand - Neutrogena. These two products are similar in ingredients. The rapid winkle repair moisturizer is a richer version with higher concentration of retinol. Neutrogena - Rapid Wrinkle Repair Night Moisturizer

Does Vitamin A+C actually work? My answer is...
1. cosmedica SKINCARE - Vitamin C Facial Day Cream Cosmedica Skincare Vitamin C Moisturizer (15%) is a powerful blend of anti-oxidant rich and restorative active ingredients to reveal a radiant complexion. Vitamin C, a well-known anti-oxidant, works to combat the damaging effects of sun exposure and UV rays. Along with other nourishing active ingredients - MSM, jojoba, B5 and Green Tea- that work synergistically for maximum protection and correction of aging skin. I bought it on Amazon, actually I very rarely buy any creams or lotions online due to my sensitive skin. I have had to return items in the past, even with great ratings and assurances, because they made my skin turn red or itchy. I was so pleasantly surprised with this moisturizer! I was sick and tired of my skin's flakiness with only using thin serums, so I gave this moisturizer a try. I love it! My skin feels velvety and the flakiness is gone. This is the best moisturizer I have ever bought online. I am truly thrilled that it visibly reduced the wrinkels on my forehead and especially the "eleven" in between my eyebrows! The texture of all the Cosmedica products is great. Unlike other serums (and I've tried quite a few...), these serums are not watery and thin but nice and thick so that it doesn't "run off" immediately. Other products have given me breakouts but I had no issues with Cosmedica. Overall the condition of my skin is notably improved Over the years I sometimes thought that an expensive "high quality" formula might meet my needs, but over and over again I was disappointed, so I gave up on the very pricey ones. Imagine my surprise when I tried this affordable one and got the results I've been looking for. I don't remember what made me take a chance on this one, but I'm very glad I did. Thanks for a great product! 2. Neutrogena - Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Cream for Night Neutrogena is the #1 dermatologist-recommended skincare brand. Neutrogena's Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Night Cream uses Retinol, the purest form of vitamin A, to combat signs of aging and improve the tone and texture of your skin. The first antioxidant to be widely used in nonprescription wrinkle creams, retinol works by penetrating deep into your skin to stimulate collagen and elastin, which smooth fine lines and wrinkles and improve skin's firmness. In their patent-pending formula, Neutrogena incorporates traditional retinol technology with a combination of Pro-Vitamin B5, Vitamin E and special moisturizers that stimulate skin's natural mechanisms to even out skin tone and build moisture levels. I absolutely love my Neutrogena Wrinkle Cream. It is silky to the touch and makes my face feel fabulous. I have been using Neutrogena products for many years and I love this product. It has diminished fine lines and wrinkles around my eyes and mouth area. I use this every night after cleansing, toning, and moisturizing my skin and it makes my skincare routine complete. The only thing I don't like about it is the packaging. It is hard to get the cream out when it is near the end of the tube. Other than that, great product!
After 4 months of trying Retinol...
The best practice would be staring a process of building up tolerance of your skin. First twice a week, and then every two days after 2 weeks before moving to daily basis. I do see that a lot of reviewers complain of getting irritation while using this. This happened to be too when I use it the first week. It caused flaking on my cheeks. I did some research after that and noticed this is a normal symptom while using a retinol product. For beginners especially those who are new to “retinol”, it is not recommended to use on a daily basis. CeraVe - Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Face Serum This Cerave serum was the first retinol product I tried years ago. Wasn’t a fan of it at that time. And stopped for years. This year I tried it again alone with this night cream and noticed the spark in it. I found that it not meant to be a stand alone moisturizer. It's to be layered with other products as part of a routine. Neutrogena - Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Cream for Night As the product boasts 'retinol' the star ingredient is high on the list for this product. The ingredients are identical and it contains Hyaluronic Acid and Retinol. It's is basically the strongest stuff you can find in a drugstore. I like that it comes in a tube and not a tub. Nothing grosser than sticking your fingers in a tub, leaving behind germs no matter that you washed your hands. After 4 months of using Retinols, I have really noticed a difference since I have started using it. I can not use it every night due to the fact it dries me out. However, I do noticed that the sun spot is fading, the acne scars are fading, my skin feels soft, and looks fresh. As a combination, my skin is very dry in spring. These two products this definitely helps keep me moisturized overnight. The “anti-aging” side, I don't really have wrinkles (yet) but I will keep using this since it makes my skin glow!

🦋What is a moisturizer? Moisturizers are an essential part of every skin-care routine! Just as our bodies require us to hydrate with water, so does our skin 💦 In short term, moisturizing perks your skin up, giving you a healthy fullness. In long term, consistent moisturizing helps decrease the appearance and rate at which fine lines and wrinkles emerge. 👉Tips You normally use your moisturizer at the end of your routine. It will hydrate your skin and help it wrinkles less. If you have an oily nose like me👃 you are not in the obligation to moisturize it, especially if you where makeup. Your foundation will stay longer on it😉 🧴Some if the best moisturizers🧴 e.l.f. - Holy Hydration! Face Cream - Fragrance Free It’s fragrance-free and has the benefits of hyaluronic acid, peptides and niacinamide😍 Great for sensitive skin 12.00$ THE inkey LIST - Peptide Moisturizer With its 1% peptide complex and a special smoothing royal jelly protein, this moisturizer seems like a typo! Great for all types 15.00$ Neutrogena - Rapid Wrinkle Repair Night Moisturizer Perfect for mature skin! It minimize visible signs of aging and instantly plump skin🙃 22.00$ CeraVe - Ultra-Light Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 For Normal To Oily Skin I couldn’t pass beside one of the most popular skincare brand! It even contains SPF 30 lotion 🧴 It wears really well under makeup 💄 and is perfect for oily skin! 19.00$ Cetaphil - Daily Facial Moisturizer Probably my favorite drugstore moisturizer🤩 It contains hyaluronic acid, a dream ingredient fir anyone with dry skin😍 18.00$ belif - The True Cream-Moisturizing Bomb My all time favorite🥳 With no fragrance, it leaves the skin so smooth! It smells so good and is ideal for normal to dry skin types❤️ More pricey but worth the price 50.00$
Better to use them together! Vitamin A+C 😘😘😘
1.Neutrogena - Rapid Wrinkle Repair Night Moisturizer There aren't many skin care products that provide visible results within a week (aside from maybe self-tanners). So when I read that 100% of women reported seeing visible results within a week of using Neutrogena's Rapid Wrinkle Repair Night Moisturizer, I was skeptical. That's a pretty bold claim for a product that's available in drugstores, doesn't have botox in it and costs less than $20. Still, I wasn't skeptical enough to not try it in the first place. It's one of the winners of Good Housekeeping's 2019 Beauty Awards, and as long as I have a choice, I'd rather sport cat eyes than crows feet. One of the main ingredients in the night cream is hyaluronic acid. During the day, I use Neutrogena's best-selling hydro boost water gel moisturizer, which also features hyaluronic acid in the formula. Since I've been using the day moisturizer for years, I wasn't too worried about how my skin would react to the powerful ingredient. However, it's important to note that my face did mildly burn and turn red the first few days I used it. At night, I apply a dime-sized portion of the moisturizer to my face and rinse it with water. When I wake up, I look like I spent the day basking in the sun on a boat. I'm naturally pale, so I actually appreciated the color. The burning sensation didn't bother me much either. According to the instructions on the bottle, mild redness and a warm tingling sensation are normal indications that the product is working. For sensitive skin, the company recommends users limit application to every other night until your skin gets used to it. I was able to use it every night for a week with no major discomfort. After night three, I'd say the color and burning sensation mostly went away. I even know of a woman who actually uses this moisturizer day and night with no problems. She says one bottle lasts her about a month. I also love the lightweight feel of the formula. According to the bottle, there are 31 ingredients (but it feels like there are only three). Retinol is one of the key components of the moisturizer and it's also why this product works on fine lines and wrinkles. Retinoids are basically vitamin A in topical form, so they increase collagen production and the rate at which skin cells turnover. They also help fade dark spots and even out skin tone. 2. timeless SKIN CARE - 20% Vitamin C + E Ferulic Acid Serum A crucial player in the production of both collagen and an essential antioxidant is vitamin C which helps with rejuvenating damaged aged skin. However, when taken orally very little reaches the skin. To help combat effects of ageing, a natural vitamin C serum needs to be applied directly to the skin. When used topically, results show vitamin C serum stimulates the formation of collagen while stopping the effects of free radicals, helping people across the globe maintain a firm, youthful looking skin. An older YouTuber recommended Timeless 20% with E and Ferulic Acid and I tried it. It is the best one I have tried. It is water based and so use it quickly and use it not only on your face, but your neck, decollete and on your hands. I store mine wrapped in aluminum foil in a dark place to make it last longer. It looks like water when it is good, but if it turns yellowish, throw it out, as it will do more harm than good. Vitamin C is used on clean dry skin before anything else of a morning. It brightens the skin and is an antioxidant plus a hydrator. You can use any other water based serum over the top if you use others. Remember water based serums first and then moisturizers, sunscreens and oils. What kind of ingredients do you like to use together? Tell me below!
Old 🆚 New, Which One You Should Get?
Neutrogena - Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Cream for Night is a very popular entry-level retinol product which I have been repurchasing for a long time. So, what are the changes and upgrades in the new version? Anti-aging effect The concentration of retinol has been increased 3-fold, and the estimated retinol concentration of the new version is 0.2% to 0.25%. At the same time, it adopts new patented "Accelerated Retinol SA" technology to increase the effect of retinol and reduce irritation. Protection of retinol Retinol is an effective but weak ingredient that losses its ability easily. Neutrogena has improved the packaging of the new version to reduce the loss of its ability. Other effective ingredients Both the new and old versions provide the same effects, which includes anti-aging plus soothing and moisturizing plus anti-oxidation, but the old version is achieved by using retinol, vitamin B5, vitamin E, and camellia leaf extract, while the new version is achieved by using retinol, vitamin C, sodium hyaluronate and hydrolyzed peach leaf extract. These ingredients are considered to be an upgrade. Texture The old version has a thicker and heavier consistency but it leaves your skin with a matte finish while the new version has a more runny consistency that is more lightweight when applied. Summary: Old version: A lower concentration of retinol, it's affordable, and it's more suitable for entry-level newbies. New version: A higher concentration of retinol, increasing anti-aging capabilities and being more suitable for those who are seeking a greater anti-aging effect. It's relatively more expensive too. It is suggested that those with slightly sensitive skin use a small amount of retinol to build up skin tolerance before increasing the dosage.
Neutrogena- Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Cream for Night
skincare routine for VERY sensitive skin
1. avene eua thermale thermal spring water ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Although my skin looks great at almost any point in time, a simple trigger—dusty climates, allergens, dry atmospheres, and even long plane rides—can send it into stress mode. I can dry out, flake up, and get hives in an instant (my grandmother had a chronic skin condition during the latter years of her life, and I do believe some of those traits have been passed on to me). The only thing that offers me comfort in those moments is this facial mist. I have a bottle in both of my bathrooms at home, my purse, and stashed away in my perpetually-packed travel toiletry bag. As soon as I feel an itch, or a welt, or heat rising in my face—indicative of a potential flare-up—I reach for this. A few spritzes and what could’ve been a disaster instantly settles. It could be a placebo effect, but when your skin’s on fire, whatever puts it out will earn its keep. Even if your skin isn’t as sensitive as mine, you’d appreciate the refreshing pick-me-up that this offers. Plus, if one can invest hundreds in the best lotions, potions, and elixirs on the market (ahem, self) one can also break out $15 to do what the most-premium products can’t. 2.L'OREAL revitalift filler eye cream for face ⭐️⭐️⭐️ I used it in conjunction with the serum and it has made a real difference to my skin. Before my skin had issues with lines being highly visible and my face looking lacklustre but this has seemed to diguise a little of the wrinkles and it seems brighter than before. The texture is quite thick but it disappears easily into the skin making it feel soft and smooth and, most importantly, well moisturised. I would choose this product over and over. 3.BIODERMA touches dry touch photo dream MAX SPF50+ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Combined with patented Cellular Bioprotection ingredient, this sun protection cream activates natural defences, protects cells and prevents premature skin ageing. It has a melting and colourless texture when applied, leaving no oily film and no white traces. Suitable for sensitive and intolerant skin to sun exposure, as well as very fair skin with freckles. Hypoallergenic. Non-comedogenic. 4. CERAPHIL daily hydrating lotion ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I love this daily hydrating lotion because it goes on light, but penetrates deeply. I have normal, sensitive skin and while this product says it is for “dry, extra dry skin” it works perfectly on my skin type. I love that it is fragrance free because I am scent sensitive. This product leaves my skin feeling hydrated, but never greasy. It’s perfect under makeup. I use it in the morning and before bed and my skin is radiant.
DUPE or NOPE? $335 🆚$14! 👆🏻👆🏻👆🏻
Combo-dry Skin, quite sensitive. My conclusion👀 Although La Mer is better, both face creams are worth the price. FAB cannot fully replace La Mer, but if you don't have enough budget. This is still a great dupe. It can maintiain stability while moisurize your skin. LA MER - LA MER The Moisturizing Soft Cream- $335 for 2 oz Effectiveness: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing! My skin is pretty sensitive. I get redness on my cheeks pretty often. And I stay up late frequently because of my work. In the winter, my skin is soooo dry and I get pimples easily. After using this magical face cream for 3 days, my cheeks didn't get irritated when I am washing face. I didn't see any obvious redness. My skin became so smooth and soft. The pimples also got so much better. My skin no longer peels off during winter. I didn't feel the importance of this face cream when my skin condition is stable. However, when I need quick recovery, this is my go-to face cream! My Experience Using It：⭐️⭐️⭐️ It's not greasy. But you better emulsify it. The cream itself is very heavy, so don't use it directly. FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration- $14.00 for 2 oz Effectiveness：⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ At first, I was interested in the "ultra repair" part of this face cream. But I didn't really see any instant effects. I starting seeing changes after I used it for seven days. It has a surprisingly good effect for maintaing stability and hydration. My Experience Using It: ⭐️⭐️ Pretty oily, but I am ok with it. However, it smells so bad! It also needs to be emulsified before using it. It is not as heavy as La Mer, but not light at all. If I don't spread it out evenly on face, I get pimples.
LA MER-LA MER The Moisturizing Soft Cream
Face Creams Over $200😲😲😲 Are They Worth The Price❓❓
I have dry, sensitive skin with obvious fine lines. The skin around my nose flakes, which causes my makeup to cake easily. Therefore, I want my facial cream to be anti-aging and moisturizing. I've also tried several luxury facial creams recently and I'll be reviewing several aspects of them for you today. LANCÔME - Absolue Revitalizing & Brightening Rich Cream This facial cream reduces my fine lines and the skin at the corners of my lips has become much more delicate, allowing my makeup to stay on longer. It's a thick paste, but it is very moisturizing and can be quickly absorbed after being emulsified. It plumps up my skin and visibly reduces wrinkles. CHANEL - SUBLIMAGE LA CRÈME Ultimate Skin Regeneration Texture Fine It comes in an exquisite jar and I like how it feels on my skin. It's a rich paste but it doesn't feel thick and heavy on the skin. A dab of it is enough for the entire face and it's absorbed easily by the skin. It's moisturizing, nourishing and leaves the skin with a translucent glow but its skin firming and anti-wrinkle effects are not particularly great. Estée Lauder Re-Nutriv Ultimate Radiant White Brightening Youth Cream I bought it for its anti-aging effect but was pleasantly surprised by how it lightened my skin tone and brightened my dull skin. Its vitamin C derivative also helps lighten acne marks and dark spots. Its skin whitening effect is particularly great. LA MER - LA MER Moisturizing Cream I've repurchased this product over and over again. Its best feature is its ability to repair and moisturize skin. Every time I can't apply makeup due to skin problems such as allergy flares, I'll apply a thick layer of La Mer and find my skin healed the next day. However, its thick paste might be too stuffy for oily skin. La Prairie Caviar Luxe Absolute Filler This product doesn't smell very nice and it's not moisturizing enough, but it's quickly absorbed by the skin and offers obvious facial lifting and skin firming effects. However, it balls up if applied during the day and it smells unpleasant, so it can only be used as a night cream. Given the price and the effects, will you ever buy these? 🍀🍀🍀 Let me know what you think!

Anti - Aging Moisturizer - It Cosmetics
This it Cosmetics - Confidence In A Cream Anti-Aging Moisturizer is a top rated product in my book! It’s an anti-aging hydrating moisturizer that is meant to reduce pores and discoloration. I’ve been using this item since the summer but I definitely loving it more recently because the weather is changing and cold air can be brutal on my face.
