Summer skincare routine /my favorites
As a combination, my skin is really sensitive to weather. Im extremely dry on cheeks during winter time and oily in T-area during summer. It’s kind of hard for me to find a stable routine through out the year. Here comes my summer favorite skincare routine with these three products that never go wrong. Oily skin is caused by dehydration and regulate skin moisture and grease balance. For my summer skincare, I’m mainly looking at products that supplement sufficient moisture and nutrition to the skin. If you looking to reduce bags and/or wrinkles this one is a miracle cream! ESTĒE LAUDER - Advanced Night Repair Eye Supercharged Complex Synchronized Recovery After not seeing any glow using Olay product for years, I happened to try the Estee Lauder line. I first received this product in a gift package 2 years ago. I used it occasionally, really only when I saw the beginning signs of the dreaded “eleven” symbol between the eyes. I don’t want to sound like a skincare sales ad, but honestly, this one was almost instant, by the 2nd day of using Estee Lauder my under-eye puffiness was gone. There is no scent, didn't leave my eyes itchy or burning in the a.m. I dab a little under each eye before bed. It's a little pricey but so worth it. Within a month, the dark circles start to fade from the outer part of the under-eye. in about a month and a half puffiness was greatly reduced. In 2 months, I'm no longer using foundation. within 5 months I look so good I almost forgot why I bought it(but I'm not making that mistake again). Good results and preservation. It does what it says. I always noticed the customers at the Estee Lauder counter in the dept store always looked very good - duh!!! You may think EL is costly, but you use such a 'tiny' amount of product the product lasts for months. So, in the end, I spend less than Olay days and look killer better. Liked the effects of this and so I started using the entire line (daytime perfectionist serum +++++++) along with the moisturizers. Switched my base from Clinique over to their Double Wear foundation also. All makeup now Estee Lauder (concealer, etc), I haven't looked at this refreshed in years!!! Took 3 years off and glow!
My Eyes’ Pick✅✅
The fine lines around our eyes always show the signs of aging and the severe dark circles always remind a tired condition. That’s why I always care much about my eye care. Skin around eye area is more sensitive, so it’s important to find right and appropriate products. If I have to choose only one eye-care product, I won’t hesitate to pick ESTĒE LAUDER - Advanced Night Repair Eye Supercharged Complex Synchronized Recovery. Intro to this stuff You must have heard about this eye cream! It is the 2018 Allure Best of Beauty award winner and it has almost 34k loves on sephora. It cost $64 for 15 mL, which could be usef for 5-6 months. It’s great solutions for puffiness, fine lines, wrinkles and dark circles. It includes exclusive chronoluxcb that helps promote skin’s natural repair process, which is vital for eyes that want to look younger, renewed, and recharged. The suggested usage is to apply it AM and PM to clean skin around eye area. Using feelings The lightweight gel-like formulation has mild nature, non-greasy at all and it’s very easy to blend. It can quickly attach onto the skin with favorable feeling. It absorbs by skin very easily. It’s fragrance free. The effects I obviously find my fine lines get smooth, there’re almost no new wrinkles around the eye corner and the obvious lines are disappearing as well. Additionally, my dark circles are greatly improved as the time goes by, it brightens my dark circles and give the under eye area enough hydration. Do I recommend? I rate this stuff 5 stars. Definitely highly recommended! It solves my major eye concerns perfectly. Additionally, eye concern is a long-term problem, if you’re troubled with any kinds of eye concerns, do not be anxious. You’d better be patient and insist on using the right product for long, and effects will show at last.
This hurt my skin😡 Glow Recipe PHA+BHA toner😔
SKIN TYPE: Eczema, sensitive & acne-prone. Highly allergic to dust and pollen😔 I have a lot of clogged pores and comedones, unexplained bumps etc. but this toner helped the clogged pores and bumps🥵 GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow PHA+BHA Pore-Tight Toner This product is a high-end toner that claims to deliver supple, hydrated skin through non-irritating acids (PHA/BHA) as an exfoliant for congested skin/clogged pores. While the glowy look and visible decrease in clogged pores/bumps was achieved it certainly had its cons when I use this product. I’ve used this product for ~2 months and I’m not entirely certain if it’s due to the fragrance or if it’s just not the right product for me but this product really purged tf out of my skin before giving me the dewy, glass skin look. I use the toner after I double-cleanse, using 1-3 drops patting into the skin all over the face until dry, finishing the skincare routine with Avène - Cicalfate Restorative Skin Cream , Avène - Skin Recovery Cream & sometimes Bio-Oil - Dry Skin Gel orAvène - Hydrance AQUA-GEL orLA ROCHE-POSAY - Cicaplast Baume B5 Soothing Repairing Balm I found that a day after each use, my skin begins to dry up and either in angry red patches like a usual eczema flare up, except it’s not really itchy just red and raw kind of pain. This would continue for a few days to a week, sometimes resorting to using my prescribed corticosteroid ointment to get rid of the adverse reaction Although my skin did get angry and irritated like an absolute bitch, I found that my skin did visibly clear up from previous clogged pores and bumps, smoothing the skin and looked quite glowing. I don’t get really pimples anymore after incorporating this product into my routine and when they do occur they’re gone in a day I haven’t seen anyone with a similar reaction to this product hopefully it’s just a minor allergy reaction to ingredients or my bad in over-exfoliating as I found that using smaller amount of toner (1-2 drops) as spot treatments worked as effectively without the irritation Honestly the productGLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow PHA+BHA Pore-Tight Toner did work for me just not in the way I expected it would nor recommend anyone to try if you know you would react badly to it. The price ($54AUD) could be justified that you won’t be using much at a time so it’ll last hella long and it does deliver what it claims to do which is exfoliate and decongest the skin. I didn’t find it particularly hydrating and has a tacky gel consistency that absorbed quickly into the skin but it did decrease my clogged pores and comedones🥰. After finishing this bottle I would not repurchase since there’s probably new products that wouldn’t cause such a reaction by the time I’m finished and probably cheaper if not better alternatives available.

Hi everyone, Just wanted to see what everyone opinion are about my skincare regimen and hope it can help others. So i have combination and acne prone skin. #HOLYGRAIL - I’ve been teasing this review for quite awhile now and it’s become a very popular topic of discussion in my DM’s lately! Especially because it’s a MAJOR DUPE for a Drunk Elephant fave. 😲 - Acure Radically Rejuvenating Whipped Night Cream is a lightweight whipped superfood cream with Multi-Peptides, Vitamin C, Ferulic Acid, and Glacial Glycoproteins to soothe and hydrate. Not only is this baby PACKED with results-oriented ingredients, it’s 100% Vegan, Paraben, Sulfate, Mineral Oil, Petrolatum, and Formaldehyde Free making it a #cleanbeauty lovers dream!! - Now down to the nitty gritty. I found this while looking for budget-friendly (less controversial) alternatives to the cult-favorite Drunk Elephant Protini and the truth is, after using it for the past couple of months, I think I actually like it more! The ingredients are VERY similar to Protini with the major differences being that Protini does contain an assortment of beneficial Amino Acids (and quite a few more preservatives like Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Benoate, Xanthan Gum, etc.). Radically Rejuvenating Whipped Night Cream instead contains Glacial Glycoproteins which hydrates, smoothes, retains skin’s natural water reserves, and helps to protect skin from extreme temperatures. Additionally you’ll find Ferulic Acid, an antioxidant that decreases that formation of fine lines and wrinkles, brown spots, and other signs of premature aging. It also boosts the effects of Vitamin C and Vitamin E. While I’m typically quite sensitive to Vitamin C, my skin responds so well to this moisturizer which may be the result of the Ferulic Acid which when used in conjunction with other antioxidants has the ability to increase their efficacy and make them more stable. - For texture, this is less Protini gel/cream and very similar to the DE Lala Retro™ Whipped Moisturizer which feels rich and whipped but absorbs quickly w/o leaving the skin feeling heavy or tacky. In my opinion, @Acure has truly created a winner with their Radically Rejuvenating Whipped Night Cream and at a jaw dropping $19.99 for 1.7 FL. OZ. it’s and absolute MUST TRY!
Products that I will non-stop repurchasing!
I have super dry skin. So I need skincare products that are super hydrating to protect my skin especially in winter. I have tried a lot of stuffs and these two are my favourtes that I will keep repurchasing them for million times. DECORTÉ - Liposome Moisture Serum It's lightweight that won't ball up on face. But it's hydrating enough for dry skin. It can obviously improve your skin since it's so moisturizing. When I use this in winter morning before using makeup products, it's easier for me to make a perfect base makeup that won't be cakey at all. Besides hydration, I don't feel any other effects of this products, neither brightening nor helping with fine lines and wrinkles. But I still love it. It's the saviour for people who have dry skin just like me. belif - The True Cream-Moisturizing Bomb It's very good for all skin types to use. It's weightless but hydrating enough. So for oily skin, it won't be sticky and greasy. And for dry skin, it's super moisturizing! It's the best cream moisturizer I have ever used. It's calming when I apply it and after blending it, I can barely feel it on my face. Recommend to anybody!

Been absolutely loving olehenriksen C-Rush Brightening Gel Creme so it’s this week’s star! ✨ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I got this with their Dark Spot toner which I posted about a few weeks ago. 👍🏾 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This creme absorbs well and I am fond of using it at night so my skin will be bright and hydrated in the morning. ✔️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Innisfree Beauty Green Tea Collection 🍵👀 🌱 Intensive Hydrating Serum with Green Tea Seed A global best-selling, lightweight and nourishing serum that instantly replenishes moisture into the skin for a more supple and brighter complexion. It’s formulated with a blend of Jeju Green Tea extract and Green Tea Seed Oil, which work together to help maintain balance in the skin, as well as help it retain moisture. 🌱 Intensive Hydrating Cream with Green Tea Seed Formulated for combination to dry skin types, this is a soft cream that delivers lightweight yet intense hydration to skin, thanks to a blend of Jeju Green Tea extract and Green Tea Seed Oil, which, like in the serum, come together to help skin retain moisture and provide it with a healthy glow. 🌱 Intensive Hydrating Eye Roll-On with Green Tea Seed A refreshing eye serum that delivers a burst of hydration to the eye area, made with a blend of Jeju Green Tea extract and Green Tea Seed Oil. The cooling rollerball tip is there to help massage in the product while stimulating tired eyes. 🌱 Overall, I’ve thoroughly been enjoying these three products. I’ve been using these almost every day for weeks now, so I feel comfortable saying that they’re definitely winners. I love the serum because it’s super hydrating on its own and sinks into my skin very quickly, leaving it moisturized but not greasy. The hydrating cream is just that - an incredibly hydrating cream that’s not heavy, and hydrates really well but settles in fast enough that if I’m in a hurry, I can apply on my makeup right away without worry. As for the eye roll-on, I really do love the product itself - it’s a lightweight gel texture, so it doesn’t travel into my eyes, but I find myself not really using the roll-on to massage in the product - that just doesn’t really work for me. Still, a really soothing formula for the eye area, and I love dabbing it in with my ring finger！

Drunk Elephant LALA RETRO WHIPPED CREAM. 🐘 This cream contains a blend of 6 African oils of which a few are Marula, baobab and ximenia which help to restore, soothe and quench the skin. 🐘 This cream also has passion fruit and fermented green tea to help brighten the skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines. 🐘 I was a bit worried about using this because it claims to be good for dry, dull skin that needs an overhaul of which I don’t fit into any of those categories. I started using this because it was included in the littles kit otherwise if I was reading online and had to choose between this and the Protini this would not have been the one that I would have selected. 🐘 I’m glad this was the one in the littles though because it made me use it and I have to say it’s the best face cream I’ve ever used. I get a bit bored with using the same creams but I just love applying this and look forward to it. 🐘 This has a gorgeous whipped texture and it feels quite rich but it just instantly absorbs into the skin and leaves a beautiful glow without looking or feeling oily at all. I’m amazed at how well this absorbs considering I have more normal skin and this is designed for more dry. 🐘 I don’t have any issues with this pilling, and make up sits well on top too and is still long lasting. 🐘 I have saw a reduction in fine lines and I do have brighter skin but I can’t say it’s down to this because I do use their Retinol and Vitamin C and Glycolic which are all designed to brighten and reduce fine lines. 🐘 With this being designed for more dry skin I was concerned that over time it may cause congestion but this did not happen at all. I have to say I highly recommend this to anyone regardless of your skin type.
