Makeup Stays All Day?

I have dry skin, but I also have fine lines. So I am always on the hunt for a foundation that is going to hydrate, but won’t sink into the lines that I do have. As you can imagine, that seems like a hard task to find one that will do both. The COVERGIRL - Simply Ageless 3-in-1 Liquid Foundation is by far the best foundation I have tried in years! I bought this because of Jessica Braun on YouTube. She was raving about how good this product was. So naturally, I knew I needed it. It has a thicker/whipped consistency, but don’t let that scare you. It doesn’t apply heavy or cakey on your skin. In fact, it does quite the opposite. It just covers everything you need it to, while still looking natural. The wear time on this product is also really great! I can get a full 12 hour day wear in, before things start to go south. Covergirl also is recently cruelty free, so if you have been wanting an amazing foundation for dry, normal, or even mature skin, you NEED this. 💕

We are going to be talking aboutL'ORÉAL - Infallible Fresh Wear 24HR Foundation I first heard TATI talk about this on her channel and she absolutely adored it so I knew that I needed to try it. It is a nice medium to low full coverage foundation that leaves a satin finish on the skin. Although how you prep and set this foundational play a big role in how this foundation ask for you. My preference is to prep with a hydrating base and a light dusting of powder to say I haven’t worn it for 24 hours but I have worn it for 15 hours. Bring those 15 hours I didn’t really notice many issues one thing that did happen happens with every single foundation I own. And that is that they settle into my fine lines at some point during the day. I did like this one though because it didn’t overexaggerate them and I could usually take my finger and just tap the foundation in to give me the appearances if I just applied it. I think this is a good option for a wide righty of people because you can share it or build it up you can also manipulate the formula to be more Matt or Chloe one other thing that I did want to know is that this does contain fragrance. So depending on who you are that might be a dealbreaker for you but if not I think this is worth a try.

Girl - HD Pro Concealer The texture is creamy and liquidy, very easy to blend. I only use it to brighten my under eyes area. 5.Charlotte Tilbury flawless finish micro powder#1 Fair Charlotte Tilbury - Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder This setting powder creates a matte finish which I LOVE!😍 It seems 100% natural like there's no-makeup. The coverage is medium.   6.wet n wild highlighting powder #321B wet n wild - MegaGlo Highlighting Powder I bought this few years ago. I thought the shade is too dar for me but now I just love it! The texture is soft, not that powdery.

I pre-ordered the NEW concealer from BeautyBlender the other day and I am wearing it for the first time today, so here is my first impressions review: Finding your perfect shade can be challenging, especially online, but BeautyBlender made it easy by including photos that accurately show each shade on its compatible skin tone. Speaking of shades, BeautyBlender did a fantastic job creating an inclusive shade range! I know that when the Bounce foundation was released, people were upset and felt that there was an overwhelming amount of light shades that resembled each other. That being said, it looks like the brand took that feedback and listened! There is a beautiful gradient in the shade range & they catered to several different undertones as well. My favorite quality of this concealer and what initially caught my attention is the doe foot applicator. It is flat on one side and pointed & rounded on the other side. The flat side is perfect for achieving maximum coverage in one swipe and the rounded, pointed side allows precision and control. What are the claims? Full coverage in one swipe, weightless, longevity and hydrates / brightens. What do I initially think? This concealer is definitely full coverage - I don’t go crazy and apply concealer everywhere on my face like some people; I just apply it under my eyes, a bit on my forehead and a bit on my chin. I didn’t have to dunk the applicator into the component more than twice to cover all my areas; the doe foot applicator is excellent when it comes to holding onto product and applying it evenly. For such a full coverage concealer, it feels very light underneath the eyes and layers beautifully on top of foundation. It is not heavy, drying, and very minimal to no creasing at all. I always set my concealer with a bit of powder whether it’s loose setting powder or finishing pressed powder. I’ve been wearing this concealer for 6 hours now and there is no creasing - under eyes look smooth and flawless! It has not cracked or settled into any fine lines. Lastly - What does it cost?! So as I mentioned, I preordered mine before it was launched. The concealer retails for $26 which is on par with other higher end concealers, so ultimately I think the pricing is fair. I was able to get free shipping AND a free set of micro mini BeautyBlenders ($18 value) so it turned out to be a great deal! I will have to continue using this before determining if I would repurchase this. Generally speaking, I own more drugstore concealers than high end for the simple fact that Maybelline and L’Oréal make some incredible concealers that work just as good!

e.l.f. - Mineral Infused Face Primer This primer is supposed to create a smooth base for makeup and fill in fine lines. It’s very silicone-like in texture, and when blended into the skin it feels very smooth. I really enjoy using this when I’m not wearing foundation that day. It creates a smooth base for me to blend highlighter, blush and bronzer onto! It helps smooth over the texture I have and fill in my smile lines so they don’t show during the day. I would recommend this to anyone who is on a budget and wants a good smoothing primer. It’s $6 for 0.5 oz and definitely worth the price!

It actually photographed quite nicely. But I really don’t like this foundation! It’s the BURT’S BEES - Goodness Glows Liquid Foundation . I am wearing shade 1025 Natural Beige. This formula just sat on top of the skin and didn’t blend out nicely. It didn’t fuse or melt into the skin so it looked like I was wearing a mask of makeup in person. It also gathered around my mouth and nose and emphasized fine lines and texture. All in all I think there are much better options out there at the drugstore price point. This one is a fuller coverage, and I prefer something more sheer. If you like full coverage and glowy, you may enjoy this one. But it was not for me. I was disappointed because I like a lot of the other Burt’s Bees products. This foundation was sent complementary in exchange for review.
