Here’s a few of my everyday essentials! Summer fridays Jet Lag Mask has become a staple in my skincare routine. The Jet Lag Mask hydrates and makes my skin soft and smooth, evening the texture of my skin. I just love it. Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate is just the perfect oil to my dry skin, I’m so glad I found this. Narst tinted moisturizer and the natural radiant longwear foundations are what I wear for my base. I just love how it blends and how it makes me look. My face radiates and I look so bright. I just love the foundation. Hourglass bronzer is a must-have! Whether I use blush or not, I always wear bronzer. So this is kind of very important for me. Anastasia beverly hills norvina Soft Glam palette is my go-to everyday palette! I love the shade “Sienna” and it’s my favourite as you can tell, I mostly must use this shade all over my lids. I’ve been using the Shiseido Waso cleanser and it’s amazing.
Super fast makeup removal? I so love an oil or balm cleanser, but sometimes- if my skin is a little oily or I just want to save time- I turn to a cleansing gel. And one product in particular which caught my eye when it relaunched earlier was the shiseido Waso Quick Gentle Cleanser. Apart from being intrigued by the cleanser’s honey-like colour and texture, as well as its pretty, minimalist packaging, I was generally interested in trying the Waso line; a nature-inspired addition to Shiseido’s skincare range. Oil-free, this cleanser contains honey and Royal Jelly extracts for hydration, as well as sodium laureth sulphate (a fairly gentle foaming agent but not my favourite) for degreasing. While I couldn’t see how one cleanser could really be ‘quick’ compared to another, on applying it I really do see what Shiseido means. Because the product foams instantly on contact with skin, very little manual work is actually needed before washing this off. This certainly cuts down on the more laborious work of using an oil or balm- which rely quite heavily on being emulsified and worked into the skin. While it certainly delivers on its claim of speed, and does remove makeup and dirt well (passing the towel test), it does leave my skin very slightly tight. However I could see this working well when my skin is especially oily or as a second cleanse. Because of its speed, I could see this working for quick post-workout face washing, or coming in at midnight and having just enough energy to remove my makeup moments. Plus points: Quick cleanser. Light floral fragrance. Non-comedogenic. Paraben-free. Relatively good value for a luxury skincare product. Minuses: I find the sodium laureth sulphate (SLES) in this a little drying, but used after an oil or balm cleanse this could be good for removing residue.
Eczema Body Wash 🧼
You might already have found a topical moisturizing trick to soothe your eczema, but what are you using in the shower? How you cleanse eczema-prone skin is an important part of your healing journey. You may already know that hot showers can further irritate the skin, so warm/cold showers are best. It’s also important to keep in mind that our skin absorbs some of what we apply on our skin, especially in a steamy shower/bath 🧖🏽♀️ Back when I had the eczema from head-to-toe, my naturopath suggested this hypoallergenic, pH-balanced, fragrance-free NutriBiotic - Citricidal Skin Cleanser and it’s been my main go-to for two consecutive bottles. It’s gentle, yet does the job of cleaning the grime from the day ☝🏽 without harming the moisture barrier... which is a big concern for us eczema warriors! The 🔑 ingredient is Citricidal (grapefruit seed extract), which is anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, and protects tissue against damage. Even though I no longer experience eczema to a severe extent anymore, I repurchased this product recently for anytime my partner or I experience some kind of skin inflammation that involves infection (I.e. dermatitis-induced staphylococcus, boils.) I’ll also try this on future breakouts, as I hear it’s helped some with acne.

Review of The Ecru Clay Soap from Jungle Botanics. It’s a facial soap that promises to remove residue, reduce impurities and clarify as well as control sebum production. It’s a beautiful soap bar that came with a organic cotton cleansing pad and soap holder. The smell was very beautiful and the colour looked very raw which I loved. I also adored the design of the packaging💜 So the long story short it didn’t work for me at all unfortunately. I dived in to it, and silly me not checking the ingredients as I usually do. Having combination sensitive skin it dried me right after the first use as well as leaving my skin sad and dehydrated. It did leave it clean tho. But in a few days I gathered a few spots which are usually rare. I guess it’s not the right product for me, but it might suit you if you have less reactive skin and you are fine with oils it’s always better to try yourself❤️ 💜Some of the ingredients to keep a note of: Amazonian Green Clay (Kaolin Clay) Coconut Oil Shea Butter Palm Oil Castor Oil Jojoba Oil Olive Oil Grape Seed Oil Centella Asiatica Extract (love it but not in the specific combination)

So I was at Winners yesterday and decided to stop by at the skin and body aisle and that was when I met these beauties. I have used the #The Bath Shop - Pink grape fruit[products]#[FiveStars] in the past before and it was Amazing!!! It’s so foamy and smells delicious. You will fall in love with your skin after you shower. The scent is so lovely and calming plus it’s $9.99 which will go for at least 2 months. I highly recommend this shower gel the CRÈME shop - Double Cleanse 2-in-1 Daily Cleanser + Makeup Remover I used this product this morning to wash my face. It’s very foamy and gently on the skin. It’s smells like rose petals. It claims it’s removed makeup and daily buildup and the rose water soothes sensitive skin while the pomegranate and lotus flower reveal an even toned complexion. Overall it’s a nice gentle cleanser and gentle for all skin types. The price was $6.99 #CleanBeauty - Tumeric & Vitamin C Mask[products]#[ThreeStars] This isn’t my favourite mask. It’s feels dry to touch. I used it on my T-Zone area of my face. Overall it’s okay. Nothing special about it. It claims it’s exfoliate and reduce the appearance of redness for a radiant glow while brighten uneven skin tone. I will keep using it to see if it actually does what it claims. It was $9.99 . Overall it’s an okay products hopeful I change my mind about it. PEARLESSENCE - Anti-Aging Mask, Green Tea + Glycolic Acid I really like this mask. It felt so moisturizing on my face. I used it on the other areas of my face. Felts so cool, calming and smooth. I cleaned it off 10 mins later and my face felt so smooth like a babies skin. I really like it. It claims it helps to rehydrate and smooth the skin for a younger looking skin and I believe it does just that. Overall I highly recommend . It was $7.99!!! OKAY. - African Shea Butter I really really loved this has a body moisturizer. Omg it’s so smooth and moisturizing. My skin is glowing. It’s not greasy but very moisturizing . I highly recommend this product for very dry skin. You will love love it. A little trick for summer glow: apply Shea butter on your collar bone and apply highlighter. 60 second miracle
Aveeno has always been a favorite brand of mine. I have an obsession with oats haha so naturally I love a good amount of products from them. This is honestly a life saver, it literally takes 60 seconds. I love the smell and texture, my face feels like a baby’s butt after I use it. Make sure you point the shower head away from you and turn the water on hot so that some steam can come up. It’s like a steam facial. It’s 6 bucks so it’s definitely worth the try :) I don’t think you will be disappointed SUNBURN ALERT🌞 You should always be wearing sunscreen in general but definitely remember to wear it if you do this mask :) Aveeno - Positively Radiant 60 Second In-Shower Facial Cleanser

I don’t have many products that focus on bodycare so I was excited when freskincare reached out, and I thought their Body Set would be perfect to add into my routine! Fré products are 100% vegan & cruelty free. They are also free from parabens, SLS, mineral oil, DEA, petroleum, PEG, and Propylene Glycol. The company plants an Argan tree in Morocco for every skincare set purchased! This helps to protect the environment and empowers the women in Morocco who harvest Argan oil. Their products contain their Argania Active Complex created from the kernel and leaf of the Argan tree! . Let’s get to the products: -Glow Body Nourishing Dry Oil: of the three products in the set this one is my favorite! The oil has a clean citrusy scent that I never knew I could like so much. It sinks in nicely and leaves my skin soo smooth, shiny, and healthy feeling. It’s rich in antioxidants and helps improve skin elasticity and suppleness. I love using this as my last step after the shower. -Purify Body Clarifying Cleanser: I love the gentle exfoliation in this cleanser and it has the same clean, fresh citrus scent as the oil. It lathers nicely and my skin feels clean and soft after using it. This cleanser helps to restore the natural pH balance of skin, and also aids in healing anti-inflammatory effects of UVA, UVB, and IRA rays. Since I’m outside more and trying to be more active I have loved having this cleanser in my routine! -Protect Body Defense Moisturizing Lotion: of the three products this one I haven’t been using due to the active ingredients. As I research more into SPF I’m trying to be very selective. This SPF unfortunately contains Homosalate, which I am trying to avoid. I did test it out however and it feels great on the skin! If you’re OK with that ingredient in your SPF than you will probably really enjoy this one!
Winter Skin Routine (SAVED my skin!!)
Like many women, my skin gets pretty dry over the winter. I also wear much more makeup, so not only am I dry, but I’m also breaking out, which is not my favorite combination. However, I’ve figured out how to maintain both issues with one routine. Firstly, I take my makeup off. I always use wipes, or coconut oil if we’re out of wipes, as opposed to a solution that you have to pour onto a cotton pad. I’ve found it to be more effective and also more ecological. I use the Pure’n Gentle Makeup Remover Wipes. Pure'n Gentle - Makeup Removing Wipes 30 wipes come in one pack, and in-store (Walmart) they’re only $1! I like these wipes because they don’t have any parabens or chemicals as opposed to literally any other wipe you can find in the same aisle. I’ve used these for over a year. Unless they discontinue them, I’ll use them ‘til the day I die! After removing my makeup, I’ll rinse the excess off with warm water and then cleanse with either the Original Sulfur Soap 10% Sulfur Acne Washdermaharmony - 10% Sulfur 3% Salicylic Acid Bar Soap or the Nourish Organic Moisturizing Face CleanserNourish - Moisturizing Face Cleanser . I like to use the sulfur soap when I’m breaking out, and I like to use the latter when I’m super dry and flaky. The sulfur soap has absolutely no smell, while the organic has a very light and floral smell. Neither is foamy, but the organic one foams much better; it’s a rich lather. Additionally, I like to cleanse my neck as every now and then I’ll get a small pimple there. I’ve been using both products for about a year as both are very inexpensive and do the job I need them to do. I would recommend these products to anybody dealing with acne and dry skin at the same time! Lastly, I need to moisturize. I don’t like heavy moisturizers, as they can be very sticky and heavy on my skin, causing clogged pores. I use this super light moisturizer that does a fantastic job of hydrating without weighing down my skin. It’s called Tate’s Natural Miracle Conditioner. #Tate’s - Natural Miracle Conditioner[products]#[FiveStars] This is kind of an all-in-one product, but I only use it for my facial skin. It smells very light, and my skin absorbs every single drop of the product like THAT! Right after application, my skin feels like heaven. I may have to reapply a couple of times if my skin is extremely dehydrated and needs some TLC. If you’re looking for a tremendously light moisturizer, I’ve got you!
