Sunday Riley - Worth the HYPE?🤔

I bought this set around 2 to 3 years ago. The first I bought wasSUNDAY RILEY - U.F.O. Ultra-Clarifying Face Oilbecause I was having severe acne breakouts at that time and I wanted to use this U.F.O. face oil to get rid of my acne. It contains 1.5% salicylic acid, which is great for oily, acne-prone skin! However, it dries up my skin if I apply it on my entire face, so I only apply it to areas of acne and blemishes. I have to say it does an amazing job at reducing acne, especially bumps.😍 If you have the same acne problem as me, I do recommend this product to you! And then I decided to try theSUNDAY RILEY - Good Genes Lactic Acid Treatmentand theSUNDAY RILEY - Luna Retinol Sleeping Night Oil. After using them for two months, I really recommend the Sunday Riley Good Genes👍, while the Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Oil is nothing special😥 Let me tell you why. The Sunday Riley Good Genes visibly firms skin, and after a few weeks, you feel like you've had a facelift. It also leaves your skin smooth, although it's not really obvious. The effect only shows after using two bottles or so. I used the Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Oil for a while but didn't see any results. However, it's actually not very oily when applied and it's easily absorbed and suitable for oily skin. It is a sleeping oil suitable for evening use before bed. Use it right after washing your face together with the Good Genes Lactic Acid Treatment. Note that this sleeping oil contains photosensitivity ingredients, so it can't be used in the morning. I have tried out three of Sunday Riley's most popular products and this Good Genes All-in-One Lactic Acid Treatment is the one most worth buying.👍

The Hype is Real with This Product!
I have been using the SUNDAY RILEY - Good Genes Lactic Acid Treatment for a year now and my skin has never been clearer, glowier or more even. If you are looking for a product that will give you near instant results this is it! I love the Lactic Acid version of this because not only is it a gentler chemical exfoliant (my skin does NOT like glycolic acid), but it’s super effective at giving you great results. The first time I used this, I could barely believe how soft and glowy my skin looked the next morning. Please remember, if you are going to use any kind of AHA/BHA’s and m/or Retinols that you are applying sunscreen every 👏🏻 day 👏🏻 Let me know if you have any questions down below and I’ll do my best to help you out 💘

Comparing Sunday Riley & L’Oréal 🌙🌙
I’ve been a big fan of the Luna sleeping oil. I’ve used it for about a year and have loved it. It works really well and makes my skin glow BUT it’s very expensive. The small 0.5oz is $55 and the full size 1.18 oz is $105! That is super expensive and I didn’t want to be spending so much. I saw L’Oréal come out with a night serum with pure retinol. 1 oz is $36.99. It’s about a third of the price. Decided to get it and compare it to the Luna oil. L’Oréal: On first application it has a serum texture, very slick and soaks into the skin very quickly. This has no scent. Immediately after it soaks in quickly, my skin feels soft. I follow with moisturizer then eye cream. A week into using this and it feels fine. I haven’t seen a huge difference so far. I started using this every other day since the first 3 days of using this my cheeks would get slightly pink. A month of using this every day and I see a very subtle glow. After building up the tolerance of this retinol on my skin I no longer get the pink/red cheeks. My face looks smooth. This hasn’t irritated my skin at all which is a HUGE bonus for me. I’ve seen no bad reactions on my skin. The only thing that I wish it did have is a moisturizing affect. I’ve noticed that immediately after using the serum I have to follow with moisturizer because my skin has felt a little tight. Keep in mind that I have combination dry skin so if I felt a little tight after using the serum, that means that someone with really dry skin has to put moisturizer on quick. Besides that I’ve had no problems with this serum. L'ORÉAL - Revitalift Derm Intensives Night Serum With 0.3% Pure Retinol Sunday Riley: This oil feels really nice on the skin. On immediate application it’s blue but the more I blend into my skin (gently) it becomes transparent and has a slight scent. This smell goes away fairly quick, probably in 15 seconds or less. Since it’s in an oil I would’ve thought it would be slimy and well too oily for me but it’s not the case. You only need a few drops. This gives my skin a moisturizing affect which I love. My forehead is actually pretty oily and this didn’t make my forehead feel gross or make it break out! Using this for a while and I have seen this as a multiple use product. If my face is red or I have an irritation, this helps to get rid of it and helps calm my skin down. I haven’t had anything negative happen to my skin using this product! SUNDAY RILEY - Luna Retinol Sleeping Night Oil At the end of using the L’Oréal retinol for a month I’ve got to say this is a pretty great serum. Just wished it gave my skin a bit more moisture, but it was not terrible in any way. This has given my skin a similar feeling to the Sunday Riley oil; in terms of smoothness, softness and helping to prevent dark spots on my face. I would definitely recommend you try this out if you don’t want to spend the whopping $105 for the full size Luna oil.

SUNDAY RILEY - U.F.O (FIRST IMPRESSION)
Okay so - I got the SUNDAY RILEY - U.F.O. Ultra-Clarifying Face Oil in my Mecca Level 3 Beauty Loop Box to try and after using it up I am pretty impressed ☺️ This is a dry facial oil with 1.5% salicylic acid that is meant to be gently exfoliating, clear congested pores and help blemish prone skin - preventing breakouts and blackheads, leaving your skin brighter and smoother. It is also meant to reduce post-acne redness. The key active ingredients are: 🌸 1.5% Salicylic Acid - good for acne 🌸 Tea tree - hyperpigmentation, dullness 🌸 Black Cumin Seed Oil - improves radiance 🌸 Liquorice - Targets inflammation So here’s the deal. My skin is normal - dry. I used to have bad acne as a teenager but my skin is luckily, pretty clear now. I rarely get pimples. However, my skin has been kicking up a bit of fuss lately. With the stress of covid, uni, work... eating more junk food... less sun... more masks (you get the picture), not only have pimples been popping up more frequently, but they haven’t been healing and disappearing as quickly as usual. It’s been a real struggle for me. Other things about my skin, it’s pretty dull, gets dry easily, quite sensitive. Lets go over what this oil did for me. The reason I’m giving it 5 stars is for a few reasons I’ll go over now. Keep in mind, once I buy a full size and use it continuously for a longer period of time, I will post an update. ✨ Firstly, I noticed a difference overnight. This is a rare occurrence for me. Not only did my old blemishes look more faded and less inflamed the morning after using this oil, but a blemish I had forming was completely nipped in the bud overnight and was almost gone before it even arrived when I woke up. This was a pretty massive plus for me. As I said, any blemishes I get at the moment have been super stubborn and red so this was a nice surprise. ✨ I have dry skin. Even though this is a face oil, it’s supposed to help oily, blemish prone skin so I was scared it would dry me out. My skin felt beautiful after using it a few times, especially with my CeraVe - CeraVe Moisturising Cream and the DRUNK ELEPHANT - Lala Retro Whipped Moisturizer with Cream layered on top overnight. Definitely did not dry me out. ✨ Kind to sensitive skin. ✨ I noticed redness diminished a bit. Might have to continue using it to see redness go down more. I especially noticed redness reduced where I had blemishes. ✨ My skin looked glowy and less ghostly 👻 ✨ Overall made my skin feel and look clearer and smoother with every use. ✨ Smells good ✨Because it’s a dry oil it absorbed really nicely and really quickly into my skin and layered well with other products. KEEP IN MIND: ✨ Fragrance - There is a bit of fragrance in this product. While this isn’t the end of the world, it’s definitely something to keep in mind. ✨ Over use of the product can apparently lessen the effects over time. I’ll definitely buy a full size to try

The Sunday Riley combination set includesSUNDAY RILEY - Luna Retinol Sleeping Night OilandSUNDAY RILEY - Good Genes Lactic Acid Treatment. Both are 15ml and it costs US$85 per set. I have had acne-prone skin for over 10 years but it has improved recently. I occasionally have acne issues and several bumps. Most people have given similar feedback regarding this Sunday Riley set, which includes how it helps eliminate bumps and smoothen skin, and I totally agree after using them. The Sunday Riley Good Genes All-in-One Lactic Acid Treatment is a night serum which has a slight rejuvenation effect and a 40% concentration of lactic acid. I recommend using it for five consecutive days as a course of treatment. It mainly minimizes the appearance of pores, lightens acne scars, and repairs rough skin. It has a sticky, liquid-like texture. You will feel irritated if you have peeling skin or a thin stratum corneum, but the irritation only lasts for a while. Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Night Oil: It's advertised as a concentrated serum with an oily texture. The main ingredient, retinoid, helps soothe our skin and reduce sensitivity, and it has a blue-green refreshing texture. However, these two products work better as a combination. It became pasty when I used the combination one after another, but it worked perfectly after I changed up the sequence. I only use them in the evening. I'll first use 2 pumps of Good Genes and wait until it's fully absorbed, then I'll rub 3 drops of the sleeping night oil between my palms and apply it to my entire face. After using them for a while, my skin is now more stable, I don't really get pimples, and bumps have reduced too. My skin is smoothened and is not as oily as before. I haven't seen any reduction in pores yet, but I'm already very satisfied with this combination! Have you tried this set before? Tell me below!👇

Sunday Riley, Just 'Meh' to Me...👎👎👎
Sunday Riley, Just 'Meh' to Me...👎👎👎
I heard that SUNDAY RILEY - Luna Retinol Sleeping Night Oil and SUNDAY RILEY - Good Genes Lactic Acid Treatmentare the best combination to treat acne. I bought this Sleeping Night Oil by chance at Space NK just when I finished using myGUERLAIN - Abeille Royale Youth Watery Anti-Aging Oil. This sleeping night oil has a very runny and almost watery consistency. It goes from ink blue to clear when massaged on and absorbed by the skin. It's thick and heavy in consistency and feels greasy on the skin, or you could say it isn't absorbed very easily. Even though I just use a small amount and massage it onto my face, it still leaves an oily layer on my face. It even slows down the absorption of my follow-up facial cream. The weirdest part about this night oil is that it doesn't provide any moisturizing effect like other facial oils. It's not at all hydrating and it doesn't reduce acne. I'm not sure if it's because I haven't been using it together with Sunday Riley Good Genes. I definitely do not recommend buying this as a facial oil. I recommend using Guerlain Abeille Royale Youth Watery Oil instead, because it's a much better facial oil. Have you used this night oil? How was your experience? Will you try it in the future?🤔 I am very curious.

I really want to love Sunday Riley, BUT...💔
I really want to love Sunday Riley, BUT...💔
I have combination-oily, acne-prone skin, and acne marks. I came across a YouTuber who was introducing Sunday Riley, and after some research and recommendations by a Sephora beauty advisor, I bought these three products. SUNDAY RILEY - Luna Retinol Sleeping Night Oil- US$85 Retinol, chia seed oil, and chamomile can effectively reduce the appearance of wrinkles, skin redness, pores, and dark spots. It also does a good job at exfoliating, reducing acne breakouts, and brightening skin. It has a herbal and oil smell, a mystery blue color, and an oily texture. However, your face will feel a bit oily after applying it and it doesn't absorb easily. SUNDAY RILEY - U.F.O. Ultra-Clarifying Face Oil- US$80 Containing 1.5% salicylic acid, tea tree oil, and black cumin seed oil, this face oil clears clogged pores, prevents breakouts, and reduces fine wrinkles, leaving your skin smooth and brightening your skin complexion. It has a light green, oil-like texture with a strong smell of sesame oil. I don't like it at all as it leaves your skin oily. As it contains other acid ingredients, you have to keep your skin hydrated and wear a sunscreen after using it. SUNDAY RILEY - Good Genes Lactic Acid Treatment- US$85 With 40% lactic acid, licorice, lemongrass, and cactus extract, it effectively reduces fine wrinkles, clears clogged pores, and lightens dark spots. It also brightens your skin complexion, leaves your skin smooth, and reduces acne and acne marks. It has a slightly sour chemical smell which is incredibly bad. It also causes irritation when applied, so you can only use it in the evening and you have to wear sunscreen the next day. I really don't like the smell and feeling of these three products. I also didn't experience any amazing results as advertised, or maybe I just didn't use them long enough to see results.

Bye! Acne! Thanks to the 4 babes👉👉
Bye! Acne! Thanks to the 4 babes👉👉
After experiencing getting rid of acne for several years, I'd like to recommend the best acne products to you! I have combination-oily skin, a thin cuticle layer, cheeks with redness, and blood vessel dilation. 1) ORIGINS - Super Spot Remover Acne Treatment Gel It has a heavy liquid-like texture and it's scent-free. I use it when I have sudden acne breakouts, applying it on my acne after washing my face. Normally, my acne disappears after three days. 2) The Ordinary - Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% Despite the creamy texture, it contains an acid element that leaves your skin dry. I personally think that it's more suitable for small or new areas of acne. It also has a slight oil-control effect. I don't think those with dry skin will like using it. 3)SUNDAY RILEY - Good Genes Lactic Acid Treatment  SUNDAY RILEY - U.F.O. Ultra-Clarifying Face Oil This is a set sold at Sephora and it's the most effective skin care product for reducing bumps and minor areas of acne. Normally I'll use a toner after washing my face, then follow it up with Good Genes and U.F.O face oil without using any other skin care products. But I can only use this skin care routine for three days at most because the combination is too acidic. If I use it for too many days, my skin will dry up and peel. 4)PEACE OUT - Acne Healing Dots This is the only effective acne patch I've ever used. You simply stick the patches on your acne after cleansing. The main point is to not mix them with other skin care products. I normally use them in the evening. I'll stick them on my acne and go to sleep. Acne is visibly reduced when I remove them the next day. What I like about these patches is that they're hygienic and don't leave scars, but I don't like that I have to stick them on my face for a very long time as it makes me feel uncomfortable.

👽FACE OIL FOR ACNE👽
👽FACE OIL FOR ACNE👽
🪐THE PRODUCT🪐 The SUNDAY RILEY - U.F.O. Ultra-Clarifying Face Oil is a face oil that is medicated and marketed as a treatment oil rather than a hydrating oil. It is intended to be used as an oil to help with acne, in terms of management and prevention. The target concerns of this oil are acne, blemish-prone skin, blackheads, and congested skin. Key ingredients include 1.5% salicylic acid (clears pores), tea tree and black cumin seed oils (help support clear skin), and licorice helps fade scarring). It has milk thistle, cucumber seed oil, and chamomile to make sure that the salicylic acid does not dry out the skin. The texture of this oil is fairly thin, and the consistency is quick-drying. You only need 2 drops to cover your whole face, or you can use this as a spot-treatment. It isn’t very greasy, and it soaks into the skin nicely. Slide to pic 2 to see the texture! 🛸MY HONEST OPINION🛸 I have had this oil for about 3 months, and I got it as part of the Sunday Riley Space Race Kit. I wanted to try this because I LOVE Sunday’s products. However, I don’t really like this product. I didn’t notice any improvements in my blemishes after using this product. It didn’t give me new breakouts, but I just felt like it was useless for me to use. I wouldn’t recommend this products to others, as I don’t think its particularly useful. I’m much more inclined to use a gel spot treatment, which is what I would recommend to others. Some people SWEAR by this product though, so maybe test it out! I don’t think the price of $40 for 15 mL is bad at all, and this works for many people, so I respect the price. You only need a drop or two, so it lasts forever. It is super easy and quick to use, but I just found it unnecessary and don’t reach for it. Overall: 3/5 ⭐️ rating…I found this ineffective, but it didn’t have any adverse effects, I think the price is fair, and I like the packaging.

❌Would definitely not purchase again!😡
❌Would definitely not purchase again!😡
I have combination-dry and sensitive skin. I saw lots of people recommendingSUNDAY RILEY - Good Genes Lactic Acid Treatmentand theSUNDAY RILEY - Luna Retinol Sleeping Night Oil, both of which are known to effectively reduce bumps and exfoliate our skin, so I bought this set. But I don't really like using them. The Luna Sleeping Oil is a face oil. It is easily absorbed, hydrating, and moisturizing. It has a very convenient dropper and the oil itself is blue. However, it doesn't look blue on your face because it's easily absorbed once applied. It's actually quite effective if you use only the Luna Sleeping Oil as it's easily absorbed. It's moisturizing and it soothes dry skin. But this sleeping oil contains photosensitivity ingredients, so it can't be used in the morning. I don't like using the Sunday Riley Good Genes All-in-One Lactic Acid Treatment as it's so hard to use. It has a bad smell and I haven't seen any results yet. The official website suggested to first use the Luna Sleeping Oil for five minutes until fully absorbed and then follow it with the lactic acid treatment. But the combination becomes pasty and it's not easily absorbed. It even causes acne breakouts after a few days. I saw lots of people suggesting using these two products reversely and I tried that too, but it still became pasty. I will not repurchase this set.
