Foundation❤️ using elf Flawless Finish Foundation (shade: Alabaster) Review: as you can see this foundation has full coverage 😍 one pump is enough to cover your entire face- I used way too much 😂 the finish is quite sticky/dewy, I usually prefer a matt finish because I have oily skin but that‘s just preference. All in all it looked nice on the skin ❤️ has a very strong sweet smell. *Price: 9€ 6$
Flower Beauty is Worth the Hype 🌺
So many influencers are raging about this particular foundation and swear by it--particularly Dacey Cash. So I decided to give Flower Beauty (by Drew Barrymore) a try. Ordered the FLOWER - Light Illusion Liquid Foundation and let me just say it is absolutely beautiful. It's very soft to the touch, goes on creamy and wears luminous and dewy. Feels like I'm wearing nothing but leaves such a radiant glow. The radiance can be toned down to a natural finish when paired with a translucent powder. Gave it a 4/5 because it does not cover every single blemish but of course you can build up the coverage. The Light Illusion Foundation pairs beautifully with the FLOWER - Light Illusion Full Coverage Concealer This concealer has a weightless feel to it and gives my under eye area the perfect luminous coverage. The eye area is brightened with a soft touch of light. 🌺Both of these products paired together make my skin look airbrushed with the perfect tones for my tanned face and under eye area. 🌺 beautiful finish 🌺 radiant glow Other foundations I love and use are: MAC, Laura Mercier and Bareminerals.

Covergirl Skin Milk Foundation
COVERGIRL - Clean Fresh Skin Milk Foundation I know a lot of people got this for PR but I bought this with my own money because I saw it came out and I’ve been using other versions of covergirl foundation for literally years. This is a very very very dewy foundation so I would not recommend for oily skin unless you’re into looking extremely dewy. For my dry skin, it feels so thin and non drying, while giving a totally naturally dewy finish. I personally really enjoy how natural it looks. It doesn’t build at all so if you want heavy coverage this is not it. Best suited for a casual type look. Once again, this didn’t break me out (but CG has never done me wrong here so I was feeling pretty confident). I didn’t notice any smell when I used it so I don’t think they’ve used fragrance in this which I like. Biggest downside is that it does have a tendency to rub off at the slightest touch and as a result doesn’t last that long once it’s on. I’d give it a decent few hours but it is not a longwear foundation by any means. Would I recommend? Yes if you’re looking for a super affordable, easy to pick up, dewy finish foundation. Would recommend for acne prone, dry skin like mine for sure.

Foundations That Just ~*hit the spot*~ For Me
Hello beautiful people! i definitely do NOT deserve these foundations and the way they make me look. but here we are, being the lord’s favorite. CLINIQUE - Even Better Foundation Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF 15 for some reason, this doesn’t break me out despite having SPF. maybe it’s because of the low SPF? idk, but this is my TOP ONE fave. it has medium buildable coverage and it has a good shade range! i can always trust this to make my skin look juicy. shade 26 cashew is my perfect summer shade! PÜR - 4-in-1 Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 20 this one’s for my more ~natural~ girls. it has light to medium (yes, medium) coverage, and an SPF 20. again, by some miracle, this never broke me out. i always use this for my no makeup makeup days. only gave it a 4 star rating because they only come in three shades. i use Tan as my fall/winter shade, and that’s the darkest shade they have. tsk tsk. here’s to hoping they expand, because they did something right here. Too Faced - Born This Way Natural Finish Foundation this is more of my “glowy and hoey” foundation. when i know i’m going to be in a public setting (like a party, event, etc.), i use this. it has a medium buildable coverage and I’m in the shade Warm Beige. the only reason i gave this a 4 star rating is because i find that sometimes it comes off as patchy. nothing a lil concealer can’t fix, though, so i aint really mad at it. MAYBELLINE - Super Stay Full Coverage Foundation one of the HOLY GRAILS when it comes to drugstore foundations. i use this when i want to look like i have zero oil whatsoever on my face. this foundation has a full coverage with matte finish. I’m in the shade 220 Natural Beige, and aint no other foundation match me the way this does. 10/10 i don’t have anything bad to say about it. price? check. coverage? check. match? check. finish? check. who’s seeing her? absolutely no one. so yeah, these are the foundations i reach for the most. if yall can tell, i tend to lean more on the medium coverage with a dewy finish kinda look. that Superstay is the only matte foundation for me. i hope this helped some of you guys! let me know some of your favorites down in the comments!

A tale of 2 brightening masks
If you’re anything like me, you’ve been doing a lot of masks during your time in social distancing / isolation / quarantine. I’ve definitely done some remote work with a sheet mask on my face, won’t even lie 😂 Today I wanted to talk about two masks that both claim to brighten skin and help lighten dark spots. This is my second tube of the The Ordinary - Salicylic Acid 2% Masque . I like it because it contains salicylic acid and charcoal to target texture, dark spots, and blemishes. It dries down quickly, but it doesn’t feel super tight or uncomfortable on my face like clay masks, and it washes off very easily—I don’t have to fight it. This is the mask I reach for when my skin is feeling congested and I want to deep clean my pores. I’ve even just used it on my jawline (my problem area where I tend to get breakouts) and not on the rest of my face. The SUMMER FRIDAYS - R + R Mask is a little newer to me; I won it in a giveaway recently. Honestly, I’m glad I didn’t pay $52 for this, and I never would. I’ll be honest: this mask looks and smells very boujie and fancy, but washing it off is a nightmare for me: I have to use a washcloth because it’s so thick and oily that I simply can’t get it off with just water and my hands. It also doesn’t fit neatly into my routine: the idea is that you wash it off and then pat the remaining oils into your skin, but I don’t want to have oils on my skin before my serums or other products that I tend to apply BEFORE my oils. This mask contains vitamin C and claims to brighten skin. I don’t know that I’ve used it enough to be able to judge whether it follows through on that claim, but I’ll just say I dislike the feel so much that I don’t really care whether it brightens or not—I have a vitamin C serum that I like anyway so this wouldn’t be necessary for me. In the end, I would recommend The Ordinary - Salicylic Acid 2% Masque any day because it’s a great affordable product that targets multiple concerns effectively. The SUMMER FRIDAYS - R + R Mask looks and smells very nice, but I think it’s overpriced and it doesn’t fit into my routine well at all.
