Skincare for glass skin
These products are all made using 77.8% rice extract from South Korea. Rice is great for improving dark spots and acne scars, and making my skin look more luminous. The product forms a protective barrier over the skin to prevent water loss, eliminate dead skin cells and provide luster and moisturization to rebalance try and tired skin. The toner has niacinamide and the cream has ceramides and vitamin C and E to make my skin feel super nourished and hydrated. My skin feels an instant difference with all these products, giving me that glass skin glow! I'm from - Rice Toner

The perfect toner for dry, sensitive skin!
Did you know this toner is made with 77.78% rice extract? PRODUCT: @imfrom_global Rice Toner is a dual layer toner consisting of a water layer and emulsion layer. This toner is meant to prevent water loss, eliminate dead skin cells and provide hydration to rebalance skin. MY THOUGHTS: I’ve been using this toner on and off for a few months and I find myself reaching for it every time my skin feels dry and/or dull. It has a lightweight texture that absorbs quickly and feels really soft and smooth upon application. I have noticed some brightening effects but not much. This toner is amazing for dry, sensitive skin. It has this fresh, cooling feeling I love! Definitely recommend SIDE NOTE: 🌱🐰This product is vegan and cruelty-free
Current Products I'm Using
I have oil/combo skin and been struggling with hormonal acne for a few years now which is mainly around my chin. I have noticed some positive changes but also some negative ones, for example I have more blackheads in areas besides my nose which I never had before. Here are the products I've been using lately. AM Routine I don't cleanse in the morning just splash water on my face and pat dry, then I apply PAULA'S CHOICE - Resist C15 Super Booster after I apply moisturizer e.l.f. - Holy Hydration! Face Cream - Fragrance Free then sunscreen Supergoop! - Play Everyday Lotion SPF 50 With Sunflower Extract PM Routine During the day I don't wear much makeup just some mascara so I just use GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water with Rose Water for my first cleanse, then I go in with PAULA'S CHOICE - Pore Normalizing Cleanser which I am just about out of so I will be using CeraVe - Salicylic Acid Facial Cleanserwhich I haven't tried before but decided to buy it because of all the hype! Than I apply my toner and depending on my skin at the time I will either use PAULA'S CHOICE - Pore-Reducing Toner or I'm from - Rice Toner I have just recently purchased and starting using The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% then I moisturizer with THE inkey LIST - Peptide Moisturizer I use PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator twice a weeks and PAULA'S CHOICE - 1% Retinol Treatment with Peptides + Vitamin C 3 times a week. My skin is still breaking out so I'm gonna try eliminating certain products to see if I can pin point what is causing the breakouts and blackheads. I recently purchased a cleansing brush and I'm gonna start by eliminating the Paulas choice BHA Exfoliator and start using the brush 2 or 3 times a week instead. If that's not the problem then I'm gonna try taking out the Vitamin C. If anyone has any advice or tips I am all ears!!!
Not worth the hype🙈🥺
𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐡𝐚 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐄𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐢𝐬𝐭 ~ a watery essence packed with 80% Fermented Yeast Extract, an ingredient with similar components to NMF (Natural Moisturizing Factor) to target imbalanced skin; aims to improve the appearance of fine lines, evens skin tone while hydrating, and rejuvenates the skin to yield a glowing complexion. MISSHA - Time Revolution First Treatment Essence Intensive Moist I used this essence last year (I did not finish the bottle and got rid of it) I really wanted to love it 🙈 I've heard nothing but good things about it but I used more than half a bottle and didn't notice much of a difference. Maybe my skin was really problematic to start with. I did not expect it to cure my acne or help with hyperpigmentation, but I did not notice a difference when it came to radiance, skin texture, or redness either. To add, I’ve never really had good results with using fermented yeast extract. It seems to never really work on my oily acne prone skin. It claims to help diminish fine lines and wrinkles so I suppose it’s formulated and better for use on mature and dry skin. I did love the packaging and the feel of the product when you put it on though. It certainly hydrates but that’s about it. In my opinion, I don't understand the hype of this product and I think there are likely much better essences out there (like the Iope Bio Essence). I know I'm in the minority on this, so if you're on the fence it may be worth a shot for you. I’d go for rice extract.

the best toner for my pores & acne!
Despite being one of my favorite products, this brand has been in some negative light lately after they failed to address Black Lives Matter appropriately in the skincare community. I wanted to share my thoughts regardless, as they have publicly apologized and made efforts to rectify their mistakes. I have sensitive, acne-prone skin. Combo type as well as rosacea. GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Brightening Toner Claims: —Promote bright, even skin — less visible pores — alcohol-free — works to reduce the appearance of dullness, uneven skin tone, and enlarged pores. Key Ingredients: — Niacinamide — Cocoa — Licorice Overall thoughts: — Broke me out initially, and breaks me out if I use more than 3x a week. — reduces my number of breakouts overnight, and significantly brightens my skin. — my pores are more refined, and even when I use this! — best used on a cotton round, and in my pm routine. — gentle for sensitive skin, as long as I don’t overuse. — I can see a difference in my dark spots as well, and an improvement in number of breakouts for the future. — $14, pretty busted for the price!

Gentle exfoliating water
I’m all about exfoliation. I think it’s one of the best ways to treat a lot of skin concerns such as dark spots, acne, hyperpigmentation, texture and much more. However, not all exfoliators are made the same, and not all of them are for everyone. If you’re just starting out with exfoliators, or you have sensitive skin, it is highly encouraged that you go with a gentle, soothing exfoliator, such as this one for example! This is @klairs.global Daily Skin Softening Water. It is a gentle exfoliator that also hydrated and refreshes the skin. Because of how gentle it is, it can be used daily (like the name suggests). The ingredients list is short and made up of great stuff such as cucumber water, apple water, and sugarcane extract. I’ve used this water on and off for a month, and in the end, I gotta say, I love it! I like my exfoliators stronger, but I still enjoy this water whenever I wanna give my skin a break. It makes my skin feel really soft, hydrated and supple. If your looking for something to help with your texture, I think this is a great product; it won’t work overnight, maybe not over a week because how gentle it is, but it will work. . . . . gifteddear, klairs - Daily Skin Softening Water #cheriecreator

Good Molecules Toner Worth the Hype
It seems like so many people have reviewed this product that I really don’t have much to say that you haven’t already read. GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Brightening Toner Pros: + it’s affordable + it delivers what it promises + it’s gentle but effective + it’s vegan + comes in a high-quality amber coloured glass bottle that’s easy to dispense + works on all skin types but it’s especially perfect for oil, ace-prone, or congested :) - costs only $14 US, helps clear skin quickly, doesn’t irritate my skin, and who doesn’t love vegan skincare? If I have a blemish (you know how it is) this is perfect. I usually pop niacinamide on my spots anyway so the fact that I can tone my skin with the added benefit of niacinamide being an ingredient, then yes please! Con: + not so easy to get in Canada — took well over a month to receive but the customer service was amazing with helping track my package as it did get lost at customs 😜 100% recommend trying if you’re able to find it.

How To Get Glowing Skin
I have oily, combination skin that is prone to breakouts and hyperpigmentation. One of my main skincare goals is healthy and glowing skin! So how do I get that with my specific skin type and skin concerns? By exfoliating and using vitamin C! By exfoliating daily with a gentle liquid exfoliant I can help my skin shed dead skin cells, this is just step one in my "get glowing skin" routine. This also helps to lighten my hyperpigmentation and keeps texture at bay. Vitamin C is the next step in my glowing skin routine. Vitamin C works to improve radiance and smoothness. It's safe for all skin types and extremely effective! It helps to brighten up my skin overall, but also puts in overtime to lighten up hyperpigmentation. My favorite products for glow are: deviant - Gentle Resurfacing Liquid BeautyStat COSMETICS - Universal C Skin Refiner

I’m From - Rice Toner: Hydration 💦
Ooo I love this toner. It’s so simple but does SO. MUCH. I'm from - Rice Toner I think oily skin hunnies would love this toner due to it’s lightweight property. It quickly sinks into my skin and makes it feel soft, silky, & smooth! This is a really hydrating product, in my opinion, so I think people with dry skin would also love this toner. ❗️It doesn’t come in a glass container anymore, so that’s a bummer. But, the formulation has stayed the same and I haven’t personally noticed any differences. 💡 Did you know: This product is made with 77.78% Rice Extract. Rice is known to provide a very light exfoliation (which is what leads to the skin brightening and anti-aging effects). Rice also contains amino acids (like lysine) which can promote collagen production. Further, this product contains Niacinamide - which helps with hydration, oil control, appearance of pores, inflammation. ✅ Benefits: Brightens and Evens skin tone Hydrating Anti-inflammatory Anti-Wrinkle 💁🏻♀️ How I Use: I don’t have a strict routine when it comes to toners, since they’re ultimately not necessary in a skin care routine (they’re a nice to have but not essential). I use this one a couple of days in a week, in the morning or night time, after cleansing. I make sure my face is damp and then turn a little bit of product onto my hands and pat it on. You don’t need a lot and make sure to shake before use. ☝🏼 I first purchased this product because I was researching non-exfoliating toners that would help me with my PIH. Over time, alongside the rest of my routine, my PIH did fade but I wouldn’t rely on this product alone to fade hyperpigmentation. I do think that my skin has extremely benefitted from this products hydrating properties.

My Mental Wellness Improved Through My Self AcceptanceWhen I was around 13 or 14 years old, I remember routinely taking one of my older sister’s black eyeliner pencils before school every morning. I’d arrive early so that I could slip away to the girl’s bathroom to apply a single black line to my eyelids. My parents didn’t allow me to wear any makeup at the time. Although this smudgy line on my eyelids didn’t make me look all that much different, I never felt comfortable at school without it. My teenage mind convinced myself that I needed some sort of cosmetic symbol in order to appropriately express my femininity. Up until that point in my life, society had told girls that looked like me - tall, Black, and with kinky hair - that we somehow weren’t as beautiful as the other girls. For far too long, I believed it too.Feb. 17
