Glowing Natural-glam Fall Makeup
Natural glam is some of my favorite makeup to rock, and fall makes it even better with all of the delicious warm tones and golds. I always love to play up my eyes and highlight to get a lit from within glow that complements the warm neutrals I use for my shadows and lips. Using the inspiration of golden hour and the changing colors of the leaves never fails 🍁 For my eyes, I used a mixture of NATASHA DENONA - Mini Nude Eyeshadow Palette and my HUDA BEAUTY - The New Nude Eyeshadow Palette to get the perfect mix of warm tones and golds. I start by blending the camel color from natasha in my crease, and deepen it with the next darkest brown in the palette (a chocolate) on my outer V. I take my finger and press crave from huda onto the center of my lid, layering my highlight on the inner corner and smoking my lower lash line out with the same chocolate colour. The duo-chrome shadows in the huda palette is extra fun, and adds extra dimension to the look; I love the shift of crave and daydream. I add a dot of highlight to the center of my lower lash line as well. I dont line in this look, but use a few coats of a dark black mascara like CHANEL - Le Volume de Mascara which doesn’t smudge or flake, and applies easily with little clumping for long and voluminous lashes. I darken my brows to give a more structured look to my eyes. I’ve been loving the Rare Beauty - Brow Harmony Pencil and Gel which makes my brows look naturally tinted and sculpted for a more elegant look. I didnt contour in this look, but layered on benefit - Hoola Matte Bronzing Powder liberally with a darker bronzer powder still in a warmer shade CHANEL - LES BEIGES HEALTHY GLOW Sheer Powder I don’t contour because for this look i’m sticking with only warm tones, and my contour shade is cool. I mix in my blush, EM COSMETICS - Heaven’s Glow: Magic Hour Blush which truly transfers the colour of magic onto the face, and top it with my Charlotte Tilbury - Beauty Highlighter Wand that melts into the skin and gives a heavenly glow. For my lips, I used a mix of Charlotte Tilbury - Matte Revolution Lipstick and EM COSMETICS - EM Cosmetics Lip Cushion for perfect warm nude pink tones. What’s your go-to look? Too Faced BTW line is a CLASSIC!
I always get the most flawless yet, believeable finish with my TF Born This Way Mayte foundation. It’s medium-buildable coverage and still gives a really natural finish. I’m very pleased with it.
Snow White inspired makeup 👸🏻
I had so much fun with this look because it was a colour combo I wouldn’t usually wear and I got a chance to try out my new Laura Mercier limited edition red Christmas lipstick since it was the perfect shade for Snow White! The Rouge Essentiel lipstick is incredible, it probably has the most beautiful texture of any lipstick I own and is SO nice to wear. 🍎 FACE 🍎 e.l.f. - Poreless Putty Primer URBAN DECAY - Naked Skin Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid Foundation Too Faced - Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Concealer HOLIKA HOLIKA - Jelly Dough Blusher #Too Faced - Candlelight Glow Highlighter[products]# laura mercier - Set to Perfect Translucent Loose Setting Powder & Puff Set 🍎 EYES & BROWS 🍎 ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Dipbrow Pomade URBAN DECAY - Original Eyeshadow Primer Potion #BYS - Festival Eyeshadow Palette[products]# SUVA BEAUTY - Grease (Matte) Hydra Liner Too Faced - Better Than Sex Mascara MORPHE - MORPHE Lashes(Calabasas) 🍎 LIPS 🍎 MAC - MAC Lip Pencil (Cherry) laura mercier - Rouge Essentiel Silky Crème Lipstick(Red Wish)
Tonymoly Back Gel Eyeliner I always had a huge problem with eyeliner because half of my eyelid is hidden under the brow and I've got eyelid that naturally allows me to do puppy eyes but winged eyeliner took me ages to learn how to do it. Tonymoly eyeliner has a thin brush which is easy to use, I'm aware that if you're novice then this form of the brush can be hard to use but personally I prefer brushes over a pen or liquid formulas, this one is more like a matte gel, thin brush makes it easier to apply the eyeliner without a chance that it'll cover my entire eyelid. I encourage you to use eyeshadow in beige or white colour as a base on the eyelid so the eyeliner won't transfer - that's the worst thing for me because I've got straight eyelashes so my neighbours used to call me panda because of my makeup. I didn't have any allergic reactions, I can easily wear it with my contact lenses on and the most important - it doesn't make me cry. On the 2nd photo, I used it with VDL cushion (Pantone 2019 edition) and Moonshot Honey Coverlet Palette (shades Antique Rug mixed with Cinnamon Milk Tea + Sweet Candle) - you can find both on Jolse. I didn't use any eyeshadow base/primer so the colours aren't intensive. The eyeliner costs $7.66 and it's the best choice I've ever made with eyeliner, it's really worth to spend this amount.

Had a friend do my makeup & she bombed this look ! I loved it so much I had to buy the palette. It had good pigmentation for me & minimum product fall out. Especially black is a tough one! Not only did I like this palette but I’m very particular with my foundation, I always have my own foundation to bring which I opted for ilia tinted spf. I love this foundation line ! I’ve had it for a year & always repurchase it. It’s non comedogenic (non pore clogging, great for combination skin) & covers up very nicely. How do you like this sultry look? What is my look giving you?

Ilia & Kosas on Sensitive Eyes- hit or miss?
I have very sensitive eyes, and just about every makeup brand (including natural/organic) I’ve tried irritates them; they get watery, sting, and within 20 minutes I have to run to the sink to get it off. I got to the point where I just didn’t want to bother trying anymore. Lately however, I’ve started looking again for that HG product that my eyes wouldn’t hate; I’m tired of looking at eyes that look permanently tired (hereditary dark circles). I did a bunch of snooping online, and after staring at Ilia products and Kosas for awhile, and reading reviews, I decided to spend the $$, so here’s my thoughts! I swatchedILIA - True Skin Serum Concealer and Kosas - Revealer Super Creamy + Brightening Concealer, and ended up giving Ilia’s a try. I picked up their lightest shade, in Arrowroot. My skin leans combination and I wanted something that felt barely there. Kosas concealer is just what it advertises, it’s very creamy and has a very heavy consistency. Their lightest shade also was too dark on me, so I went with Ilia. The concealer itself really does blend seamlessly into my skin, it has sort of this barely-there scent that I can detect if I sniff the bottle, but it isn’t something I’d ding it for. It kind of just smells like a yummy skincare product tbh. It has a super light consistency, if makeup could be serum-ish, I guess this would be it? It’s very light, and it doesn’t feel like I’m wearing anything which is exactly what I hoped for. The verdict? Hit! No stinging, no itchiness, no irritation. I was super pleased, and it held up all through the day without primer. No creasing really either, which I was impressed with. All in all I will 100% continue to use this, and I’d really like to try some of their other products! The price is a bit hefty, at $30.00 if you’re looking for more affordable products. But in this case I feel like I’m getting what I paid for, especially for a product that not only doesn’t piss off my eyes, but works beautifully. As for Kosas - The Big Clean Volumizing + Lash Care Mascara , I’m kind of sad. Here’s why: It didn’t clump, and it did just what it says. My lashes were voluminous, but also looked very natural. And, most importantly, my eyes didn’t hate it. It felt fine, and all day I forgot I was wearing it. The one gripe I have with it though, is that within the first hour it began rubbing off underneath my eyes, which really sucks because I love everything else about this mascara. It proceeded to do so on and off throughout the day, and honestly it’s like most of it faded off. Due to that, l probably won’t continue to use it. I wanted this to be my HG, but it was kind of a miss due to the way the formula rubbed off and faded. I’m glad I got the mini to trial it instead of the regular size, which retails for $28.
My Simple and Clean Makeup Routine! 🌸🍒
I’m not the makeup expert (and never will be), but these products have completely changed my routine for the better. 💧Glossier Futuredew ($24): I was worried this product was going to be too much for my oily skin, but I love the natural glow this product gives me! Apply 1-2 pumps depending on your preference. 🍑 Ilia True Skin Serum Concealer ($28): Although this is a little on the pricey side, I think it’s totally worth it! This product is clean, but it’s medium-coverage formula gets the job done! 🍓 Cocokind Macabeet Tinted Moisture Stick ($8): I could understand why this isn’t the product for some people, but for natural beauty lovers like me, this is a great product! It gives a nice subtle tint. And the best part is that the color comes from beet root (but don’t worry it doesn’t stain)! 🍒 Glossier Lip Gloss ($16): If you want a more in depth review on this product, check out my article on my favorite lip products. But I’ll tell you this: This gloss is perfect for summer! It’s non-sticky formula gives such a beautiful gloss! cocokind - Macabeet tinted moisture stick ILIA - True Skin Serum Concealer Glossier. - Glossier. Lip Gloss Glossier. - Futuredew Oil Serum Hybrid
Going outside today! ✨
I’m sure many of you know the struggle of staying indoors all the time and it’s hard to justify going full face when the only one who sees you is your computer screen. But today I am venturing outside for not work related activities which means I get to be creative with my makeup! I always keep it simple and light on the face, especially now with a mask on, so tinted moisturizer with SPF is what I use! This is my very first post and I have no idea what to write. Basically my name is Kayla and I’m 25 years old and I love makeup & skincare. I’m very picky when it comes to what I consider my holy grail products, but I love trying new things and sharing my thoughts and opinions! My favourite new products to try are foundations. I am THE MOST PICKY with foundations (as in I only have one in my collection currently) but I absolutely love trying new ones. I’m also extremely insecure and self conscious about taking selfies so 😬😬 also please don’t mind my eyebrows I can’t get them THREADED RIGHT NOW. ANYWAYS, that’s all I have for now, take care and stay safe!! 💕

🌹pat mcgrath divine rose i review 🌹
i used this palette for the first time today and unsurprisingly, i love it. it’s so versatile – whether you‘re going for an everyday look or more dramatic glam, this palette has it. lighting – indirect sunlight application – fluffy brush, small blending brush, chisel brush, and fingers skin tone & undertone – light with neutral undertones other products used (eye only) – pretty VULGAR - Uncaged Eyeshadow Primer / Kokie - Be Bright Liquid Concealer / tarte - SEA Surfer Curl Volumizing Mascara texture & pigmentation – okay so WOW. these are so creamy and buttery. they glide on effortlessly, whether on a brush or fingers. the pigment is incredible. the mattes are bold yet buildable. and the shimmers. oh, those shimmers. never before have i applied a SINGLE layer of a shimmer and been happy with the result, i always have to build and build and build. but these are something else. otherworldly. then there’s the signature pat mcgrath shift shades. the iridescent, elusive color that you can’t quite pin down because it’s neither, it’s both. staying power – oh, it stays & slays. price – 125.00 usd. i bought this as part of a duo with divine rose ii as well as during a sale, so i paid considerably less. however, i do think it’s worth the money. the pans are larger than in other eyeshadow palettes i’ve used and because a little goes a long way in this case, i know this will last long. today, i used – velouria astral solstice vr rose venus refined gold 002 skinshow nude
