REN CLEAN SKINCARE - Overnight Glow Dark Spot Sleeping Cream Hello my dolls i know am late with my updates and only because I had to make sure this product I got was working for me, also I just want to add that I will not try the Fenty wash due to the fact that my skin is sensetive so sorry to disappoint y’all with that said let’s get started!!! So I have been using REN CLEAN SKINCARE - Overnight Glow Dark Spot Sleeping Cream for a month now and honestly I did see a change slowly but surely, only reason it’s taking time because I have stubborn and over age spots that I tired everything on and it wouldn’t work. With REN CLEAN SKINCARE - Overnight Glow Dark Spot Sleeping Cream it’s very thick and light in consistency the smell is not the best but overall not all products have to smell like roses 😂. When applied on the skin it’s very light and I always say a little goes a long way dolls it definitely melts in the skin and it’s not sticky, when you wake up your face feels very soft and looks well rested! I personally love this product and don’t have any issues with it! This is a must have if you are struggling with dark spots and I will be getting a next jar when the first one is done!! And I have purchase some new products and will be updating y’all on them as well!!! Be well and let me know what you’ll think of this post 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Hello dolls 😍😍
Hello dolls 😍😍
I’m back and I know it took me a while to actually get a review in from my last post!!! So let’s get started dolls!! As you know I mention from my last post that I got 2 new products that I am trying out and let’s just say I like them so far and they have been doing a pretty good job with helping with my dark spots and blemishes. The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG I have been using this product and what I can say everybody use it differently. I have been using it on my dark spots and around my eye area and I must say it has help, the solution is very light weight and melts into my skin pretty well. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% let’s just say this product really does what it details with this product a little goes a long way just like the The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG it melts into skin very well and is very light on the skin. Also leaves a glow on the skin and give it a bouncy feel as well. I highly recommend this product if you have acne it helps control break outs! So guys this is a little inside of my review and yes I did get new products and I will give an update about them and FYI I am definitely gonna get the Fenty beauty products and can’t wait to try it!!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️

👋🏽👋🏽👋🏽👋🏽👋🏽 I’m back guys and I would like to thank everybody who commented, shared and liked my last post you ladies rocks🤘🏽 and with that said let’s get into these new products I told you’ll I got!!! In my last post I graced y’all with how my skin was not in it happy mode and honestly I was very unhappy about what was happening on my face ☹️ and wanted to just give up but I was determined to get my skin back and on the path of happiness!!! Over the 2 wks I did my regular facial peel with The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution and these new products that I purchase from the body shop! And guys these products really helped me out with my break out and also leaving my skin fresh like a spring day! After the facial peel THE BODY SHOP - Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask is really purifying guys and just with the first application I felt in going into my pores, at first a slight tingle but after putting all over you can feel in stinking into your skin make it tight and firm, I left it on for 20mins and after I rinsed it off i felt my face feeling so refreshed! After I applied the plumping mask from THE BODY SHOP - British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask for a next 20mins after this mask guys my face was happy like a 🥳 my skin felt so smooth, soft and refreshed using this mask! These 2 products together worked for me and helped me with my mini breakout I was having and restocked a little bit of normality to my face and honestly I am happy to see this change over 2 wks!! So guys this is my update and yes I got a next product that I am trying out and will definitely be back to give you the update of this product!!! Thanks guys❤️❤️❤️

😫😫 horrible
😫😫 horrible
So guys I said I would be back with an update with some products that I purchase and here is the out come of one of the products that I purchase. So I stated in my last post I have sensitive skin and one of the products that I ordered to try out and heard a lot of good reviews about it and was willing to try since I notice my skin was getting clearer and less acne on my cheek area I decided to get the The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 This product was not gentle on my skin and broke me out even more to a point where under my eye are all black like somebody sucker punched me 😫! I have break outs where I don’t normally have and that’s one flag that I notice this product is not for my skin! as you can see from the pic I did a side by side where my skin was clearing up and where I started using the The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 I have to start back from the bottom and do a step by step process all over due to the severe damage that my skin went through with this product! So guys I will be back with an update with some products which I am currently using to help me get my skin back to what it was before Using the The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 and give you an update about these product which I started using already!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Quarantine clean up
Quarantine clean up
So I have started this quarantine facial cleanse! Honestly I was a bit scared due to the fact that I have sensitive skin and really didn’t want to try nothing new. So I started using URBAN SKIN Rx - Even Tone Cleansing Bar And this product really does what it says it does pixi - Glow Tonic really love this toner I use it both in the morning and also in the night leave the face feeling fresh and soft after cleanse skin! Neutrogena - Bright Boost Resurfacing Micro Polish so far this polish has been working pretty well leaves the skin smooth after washing! The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution with somebody who has sensitive skin I really thought that it would irritate my skin or break out but this peel is really the best thing ever for a peeling solution!! But you need to follow instructions and you should be just fine! Over all these were my starting products to my clean up and I have added more to my list and will definitely keep y’all posted with the new products that I got! ❤️❤️❤️

HOW TO SAVE SCAR-PRONE SKIN (KojieSan Review)
HOW TO SAVE SCAR-PRONE SKIN (KojieSan Review)
LEFT PHOTO: 2017 RIGHT PHOTO: 2020 So in 2017, my junior year, I developed a crazy breakout on my forehead. This breakout was pretty unusual to me. They were a bunch of very small, closed, white condones. There weren’t inflamed or tender, just raised. And me being me, I picked at them. They were so small I honestly didnt realize the damage they did to my skin until maybe a month after . And by then, these bumps spread from my forehead down to my chin. This is when I discovered kojic acid and papaya enzymes. And still to this day KojieSan soap is my mf go-to. So lets talk KojieSan. This soap is actually categorized as a skin lightening soap because of its active ingredient, kojic acid. Kojic acid’s primary use is to inhibit (prevent) melanin production. Because of this affect, it easily reduces visable age spots or scarring. Exhibiting anti-aging effects as well. Kojic acid also houses antimicrobial properties that can help treat acne by reducing the bacteria on your skin. Lol I understand how the phrase “skin lightener” can scare ppl. But please take into consideration that this would be my recommendation for anyone who is suffering from photodamge, melasma, or post hyperpigmentation. CAUTION: 1- Please be aware of this product. If not used properly, you can face some adverse side affects. STAY OUT OF THE SUN. If you plan on using this product do not come in contact with direct sunlight. The UV radiation will stimulate melanin production and cause VISIBLE PHOTODAMAGE. Always apply sunscreen regardless if you are going out in the sun or not! Highest SPF PLEASE 2- Be mindful to use this product in intervals for maximum results. 2 months at a time would be my recommendation. It gives your skin a chance to grow and breath. Also an opportunity to observe your skin 3- Do not use on sensitive or dry skin. Ex. Atopic dermatitis/eczema. This product can be very drying. Be mindful to hydrate and moisturize your skin after use. TIPS: When using this product remember to do a patch test before you apply a large amount on yourself. This can prevent an allergic reaction if you are allergic to any of the ingredients . I would recommend starting off using this product at night ONLY once a week. Then working your way up once every few nights. Then once every 2 nights. But listen to your skin. If you experience any (during or post) redness/ stinging/ sensitivity/ irritation, STOP using this product immediately. Once my skin became accustomed and conditioned to this product, I would leave it on for about 2 minutes then rinse. I would do this method every other night for 2 months at a time. This method really helped the post hyperpigmentation on my face and for my strawberry legs, as well as brightening my underarms, elbows and knees. Btw, I love this app so much. I was scrolling on my homepage and found an entry of this girl that was asking about this breakout she had . And her symptoms were practically identical to mine. FUNGAL ACNE. #darkspots

What Causes Acne and What Puts You at Risk for It?
Acne is among the most prevalent skin conditions in the world, with roughly 50 million cases in the United States alone. Although this disorder is most likely to impact teens, it can also affect adults—and it’s more likely to manifest in women.

Skin Journey 🤎🌟
Skin Journey 🤎🌟
I just wanted to come on here and share my skin journey!! My skin was never 100% clear. I am acne prone and I noticed that my skin is actually pretty sensitive. I always had break outs and hyperpigmentation especially around my period but for the most part my skin was not a huge concern. Starting in September 2019, I used some synthetic hair that I ordered from Amazon and it gave me the worst allergic reaction ever. My scalp was extremely itchy and face broke out very bad. When I tell you I tried EVERYTHING. I mean it. I used sulfur, neutrogena, witch hazel pads, but it all ended up making my skin more and more irritated. I even tried facials but nothing worked :( I was so insecure and would cry all the time bc of my skin. I then began to use Differin skin care products. Differin is a brand that is prescription strength but doesn’t require an actual prescription. Once I started to use that after about two weeks, I saw a slight difference in my skin so kept using it. As you can see in the pictures my skin didn’t start clearing up until March 2020. In feb 2020 I went see a dermatologist who told me that the kind of acne I had was very hard to clear up so she put m on an anti-biotic on top of the Differin helped my skin clear up SO MUCH and super fast. I use Acure serum to help get rid of my acne scars which as helped a lot too. When your skin gets as bad as mine, you may have to start taking an antibiotic in order to clear out your body. My tip is to drink lots and lots of water and stick to one routine! I got so impatient with my skin that I didn’t want to wait and made skin even worse. Patience is key :) This is what worked for me! If you have any questions please feel free to ask. I want to help if I can 💜 Here are the products I currently use: Differin Daily Deep Cleanser (Benzoyl Peroxide Acne Treatment) Differin Oil Absorbing Moisturizer SPF 30 (Am only) Acure Brightening Vitamin C serum Differin Restorative Night moisturizer

This ingredient saved my skin🤫❣️
This ingredient saved my skin🤫❣️
Hello lovelies! ❣️ ⁣⁣ Today, i’d like to talk more about my favorite and my holy grail ingredient -- 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐢𝐧. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 🌟 Tretinoin, also known as 𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐢𝐜 𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐝, is an active form of 𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧 𝐀. It is the 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞-𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝 prescription retinoid for anti-aging and other handful of skin issues. ⁣⁣ 🌟 Tretinoin is considered the benchmark ingredient among dermatologists for treating 𝐚𝐜𝐧𝐞, 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬, 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐮𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐢𝐧 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐜𝐧𝐞❓⁣⁣ Tretinoin stimulates 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 on your skin. Quicker cell turnover opens pores, releasing trapped bacteria or irritants that are causing acne. It also has anti-inflammatory properties and treats hyperpigmentation. The catch? It doesn’t give results immediately. You’ll have to in it for a long haul with Vitamin A. It typically takes around two to three months to really see a difference with consistent tretinoin use, but if you use it long-term, your skin will look significantly younger! ⁣⁣ Wouldn’t you want that? 🙈⁣ ⁣⁣ 𝐌𝐲 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐲𝐩𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬:⁣⁣ I have 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧-𝐨𝐢𝐥𝐲 skin. I have struggled with acne for the past three years. My skin has also been very 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝. I am highly prone to 𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐜𝐧𝐞, especially along my jawline and neck and have always struggled with 𝐡𝐲𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐢𝐠𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 since my teenage years. I get 𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐬 even from the tiniest comedones and they would usually linger for 6-12 months. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 𝐌𝐲 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: ⁣⁣ I have been using tretinoin since January of 2020. I started with 0.001% from my curology prescription and now 0.05% from Galderma which I use nightly.. I did also try Adapalene from Fall 2019 to the first couple of months of this year, alternating it with tretinoin.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ When I started Tretinoin, I was on my purging stage with adapalene (brand name Differin), which lasted for few months. I kept my skincare routine simple; gentle cleanser, moisturizer, tretinoin and sunscreen in the AM. I got rid of my fragrance containing products (this is important! Fragrance is highly irritant.) Aside from the purging, I also experienced drying but nothing too extreme. Moreover, my skin became a lil more sensitive so since then I always made sure I don’t use any other active and tretinoin in the same routine. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 𝐓𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐬: ⁣⁣ For the first and second month, I've seen no changes in my acne and dark marks at all. However, its effect on texture was almost instant. Tretinoin just turned my skin somewhat buttery and over time seems to prevent bumps from forming. I have not had any bad reaction so far except it dries the skin around the eye area so much (healing ointment is a must!). I’m on my fifth month now and my skin has been so much more resilient, repairs quicker, and post-acne marks now fade so much faster. I have not had any new acne since April either. Hard to believe right? Well, it’s a 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐭 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 which is why it’s my top recommended ingredient ever since. ⁣⁣ ❗️ I have also used hydroquinone for 2 months. I will talk about the ingredient in another post. For pictures please refer to my Curology post 😉

Face Wash for Your Skin Type:
Face Wash for Your Skin Type:
Q. What type of face wash should you use? A: Your skin type may be the answer. Then it comes to your individualized preferences and results from each face wash. We know that if you have normal skin then you can use most products. Dry skin: you should go for cleanses made up of oil, liquid, gel, or foam. Combination skin: same as dry skin but with more exfoliating. Sensitive skin: same as dry skin but less exfoliating and use lighter-chemical ingredients. Oily skin: more exfoliating the better, scrubs or chemical AHA or BHA exfoliate. All beyond this guide, use what personally works best for you.
