✨The BEST Tarte Shape Tape dupe✨
✨The BEST Tarte Shape Tape dupe✨
Many have tried, but only one can be the winner. I have tried: 1. COLOURPOP - Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Concealer 2. MAYBELLINE - Fit Me Concealer 3. REVOLUTION - Conceal & Define Full Coverage Concealer And the winner is... REVOLUTION - Conceal & Define Full Coverage Concealer !!!! The reason I only give it 4 stars is because I wish it were bigger! The product does run out quicker than I would like, but the product itself... *chef’s kiss* The Colourpop concealer gives wonderful coverage and lasts for a good time, which is what earned it 4 stars from me. My problem with this one is that it’s full-coverage to a fault, and almost feels cakey at times! If left on the skin for any amount of time too, it becomes very hard to blend. The Maybelline Fit Me was extremely underwhelming for me... I suppose if you already have perfect skin this could be a match for you, but if you want to conceal anything with your concealer, I’d consider swerving away from this one. The Revolution Conceal & Define trumps the competitors because of its creamy texture, perfect blend-ability, and perfect amount of coverage. When I put this over my freckles, it allows them to still shine through... BUT also when concealing acne and dark spots, it blows the competition out of the water. It is so versatile and can be used for multiple different purposes. I think I’ve found my forever concealer!! P.S. This product is only $7 at Ulta Beauty!!! Run to your nearest Ulta and snatch it up❤️

Futuristic Flapper Halloween look😱
Futuristic Flapper Halloween look😱
This was my first time ever gluing my brows down! What an adventure:) I tried a game where you create a makeup look based off a random adjective paired with a random noun... and ended up with “Futuristic Flapper”! If you want to know how a newbie to the brow-gluing game pulled this look off, keep on reading😆➡️ 1. To get started, I cleaned my brows off with alcohol on a cotton pad so no oils were left in that area. 2. I took my purple Elmer’s glue stick and started working it into my brows, making sure to get each hair thoroughly coated. Before it dried, I used a spoolie brush to direct all of the hairs upward. You have to use a lot of pressure for this part! 3. Next, I repeated this process 2 more times to make sure every single hair was glued flat to my face. If necessary, I also used my index finger to press and pull upward on the hairs. 4. Once completely dried, I used a beauty blender to press loose tinted powder over all of the glued surface. Then I gently brushed away the excess. 5. After that, I set translucent powder over the top with my beauty blender as well, and let it bake for about 10 minutes. Once I brushed away the excess powder from that, I was ready for the makeup! 6. After applying my full-coverage REVOLUTION - Fast Base Stick Foundation , I blended my shadows and cut the crease just the same as I would on my normal eye shape, just creating an exaggerated shape this time. The black shade I used was from the MORPHE - The James Charles Palette and the blue shade was from the JEFFREE STAR COSMETICS - Blue Blood Eyeshadow Palette 7. For the white lines on my “brows” and lips, I used a small brush to shade in the blue area first, and then used white face paint to draw the lines. 8. I finished it off with crystals on the eyes, contour and blush, and a swipe of black MAC - Retro Matte Lipstick , keeping it toward the center of my lips rather than taking it all the way to the corners of my mouth. I had so much fun doing this look and playing outside the bounds of my actual eyebrows! Gluing them down opens so many more opportunities for creativity🙌🏼 Give it a try for yourself, and let me know how it goes! (also any other tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated)💗

Spooky glam look👻
Spooky glam look👻
I got inspired by my new ghosty-girl earrings for this look! If you want to try it for yourself, here are the steps I took: 1. I started with brows, first filling them in with the NYX - Micro Brow Pencil and then cleaning up the bottom edges with my REVOLUTION - Conceal & Define Full Coverage Concealer 2. I then primed my lids with the PLOUISE - PLOUISE Base Shade on a small fluffy brush. 3. I packed the colors I wanted in a swoop shape on my upper lid (I used MORPHE - The James Charles Palette ) and then cut my crease out first with GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Cleanser & Waterproof Makeup Remover 4. Then I reapplied the P. Louise base shade under the cut and packed in a shimmery shade on my lid. I used the same shades from my upper lid to create a smoky winged liner and fill in my under eye. 5. Last but not least, I glued on my lashes and crystals with IL MAKIAGE - Duo Adhesive Fake Eyelash Glue and the eyes were complete! Finish off with your favorite base makeup routine, and don’t forget the black lipstick😜 I tried the MAC - Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour and I’m obsessed! Hope you enjoy trying your own version of this ghosty glam😘

Get the look: Letter cutout makeup art!
Get the look: Letter cutout makeup art!
This look is simple, bright, and gets your point across! To try it for yourself, all you need to do is follow these steps: 1. Cut out the letters/numbers you want to use on printer paper. 2. After applying your preferred base makeup (my favorite is the COLOURPOP - Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Tinted Moisturizer ), prime where you want the letters to go. I used the PLOUISE - PLOUISE Base Shade 3. Using whatever eyeshadow colors you want, hold the letters up to your face and gently pack eyeshadow in around the edges. I used the shade “You’re Kidding” from the MORPHE - The James Charles Palette and the shade “Blue Blood” from the JEFFREE STAR COSMETICS - Blue Blood Eyeshadow Palette 4. Clean up the edges of the letters with concealer on a small detail brush, blend eyeshadow outward, and add crystals of course! I always use DUO - CLEAR lash adhesive to glue anything on my face. 5. Finish it off with a spritz of fixing spray ( I love NYX - Bare With Me Multitasking Spray ), and your look is complete👏🏼 And don’t forget to register to VOTE in November!
