Best Products with Antioxidants

three ships - Radiance Grape Stem Cell + Squalene Day Cream
a light cream texture with grape stem cell and squalane. The grape stem cell contains antioxidants called anthocyanins which absorbs UV radiation. The grape stem cell is also embryonic which means it can change into any cell needed- in this case, acting as a catalyst to new skin cell production. Gives a beautiful glow as well. If you shop on their site, you can save 20% with my code LEENA 20. fresh - Lotus Youth Preserve Moisturizer
Another lightweight cream with Super Lotus as the antioxidant component. Super Lotus was formulated to targets the first signs of aging by supporting the skin’s barrier and protecting from free radicals. The white, large jar is a day cream, while the smaller blue jar is the night cream. Its richer in texture and smells like peaches. fresh - Lotus Anti-Aging Night Moisturizer
BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil
a rich but non-sticky oil; vitamin c is a known potent antioxidant, and while acting as a gold standard for skin brightening and hyperpigmentation reduction, its also a great antioxidant to help with preventing signs of aging. KOSMETIC IMMUNITY - Luminous Skin-Defense Moisturizer
This light gel-lotion contains mBeta glucan for hydration and powerful antioxidants derived from Lotus, Aloe and Bamboo, helps protect skin, defending against environmental aggressors. All of these make excellent day creams depending on your brand and/or texture preference. Would highly recommend trying any of these if you're looking for a good antioxidant product.

Skin Update ✨✨
Okay this is a totally non filtered sun photo of my skin. Still working on minor texture this is due to my new skin routine (I posted about my morning and will post my night). I try and show my skin with new routines and products I use because I get so many ! The number one thing I will say is be consistent! I saw a post from @MelaninSkinCareAddict(great post you should go check it out) and I loved it and it inspired me to show results from some advice she saw. My last skin update was 12/22 which I showed a unfiltered close up of my skin and the breakout I had endure out of the states! I will say for texture, hyperpigmentation, and acne you need: effective vitamin C serum- should have vitamin E (tocopherol), hyaluronic acid, and Ferulic acid insta natural - Vitamin C Serum Mad Hippie - Vitamin C Serum retinol- DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel is my first go to, but now I use The Ordinary - Retinol 0.5% in Squalane GLOW RECIPE - Avocado Melt Retinol Sleeping Face Mask (I use this on nights I don’t use The Ordinary retinol oil .. 2xs a week) cleanser made for you skin: should be tailored and effective my current faves: Murad - AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser (2x week) COSRX - Low PH Good Morning Gel Cleanser (only when I oil cleanse) (3xs a weeks when I wear my night mask) PEACH & LILY - Power Calm Hydrating Gel Cleanser (mostly for nights) toner: a great toner will be your friend! This is important for removing dirts and oils. If you wear makeup this is a necessity. PAULA'S CHOICE - Enriched Calming Toner Murad - Clarifying Toner innisfree - Jeju Lava Seawater Lotion sunscreen: at least spf30 TULA SKINCARE - Daily Sunscreen Gel Broad Spectrum SPF 30 ELEMIS - Daily Defence Shield SPF30 moisturizer: a great moisturizer is your friend! Purchase or Pass? Pass On This
fresh - Lotus Youth Preserve Moisturizer I had the opportunity to try out a trial size of this moisturizer and I wasn’t impressed. Despite smelling “fresh” it didn’t do a whole lot for my skin. It’s a lightweight moisturizer that needs to be paired with an oil in winter time or else it just doesn’t feel adequate enough. I would only recommend this for combo/oily skin. It’s also formulated with citrus oils which could be an irritant for your skin if you’re on the sensitive side. I will not be repurchasing this. It’s full size retails at $50 and for $50 I think I can find more affordable and effective moisturizers for that price point. I also didn’t notice a huge difference regarding the “anti-aging” properties that this product boasts about. Pros: lightweight (good for summer) fresh scent formulated with hyaluronic acid to maintain moisture in the skin Cons: expensive formulated with citrus oils not a good winter moisturizer

Amazing products for dull and sensitive skin!
Niubody becomes Three Ships
Three Ships is an awesome Canadian brand, based in Ontario, and makes all natural products. They have natural toners with essential oils like lavender to soothe and calm and eucalyptus to energize and brighten. They also have my favourite “customize-able” powder clay masks, pink, white and green clay. On top of that, they have all natural lip scrubs that smell delicious and a variety of cleansers ✨ You need to try these Three Ships masks 😍 They’re powders that turn into clays when you add a liquid or oil. They feel so nice and they make your skin so soft! Plus, they are natural, vegan and cruelty-free which is amazing, I love that more and more brands are implementing this into their mission. They also value sustainability and do not use plastic for any of their packaging- another plus. So they went through a rebrand! Same great products, just new packaging and a whole new name! They will move forward as an ingredient-transparent company, with sustainability in their hearts when it comes to their packaging. They use all glass bottles, and encourage reusing the paper packages- which is so easy since their so cute. I use my open packages to store my little rings, qtips, bobby pins and tea bags ☺️ They also launched a new product 🤩🤩 A moisturizer with a gorgeous creamy texture for all skin types! Its meant to hydrate, moisturize, soften and give your skin a beautiful radiance, as implied by the name: Radiance cream ✨
Biossance Vitamin C Oil
I have been loving facial oils lately but with acne prone skin it can be a struggle to find one that won’t break me out. I was excited to try this product because I had heard good reviews and it is an interesting concept! BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil 🌹 Pros: 🔸 lightweight oil that sinks into your skin quickly 🔸 smells nice 🔸 gives a non-oily looking glow to the skin Cons: ◾️ expensive at $72 for a full size (I have a trial size) ◾️ I personally broke out a ton from this ◾️ it is essentially just a fragranced squalane oil This product claims to deliver both the benefits of a vitamin C serum and an oil (as the name implies) but for vitamin C to be effective on your skin it should be applied to your face at the beginning of your routine while an oil should be applied last. I just don’t understand the concept of this product combined with the price. If you don’t break out easily you may like this, but for the price I just wouldn’t recommend it. However, I do recommend getting a facial oil (try just plain squalane oil or a rose hip oil) and also using a vitamin C serum in your routine! Purchasing those two separately instead of buying this product will save you money and give you more product! If you have tried this product or have any recommendations please let me know in the comments!
Facial oils - my experience
Even though I have combination skin, I try to incorporate facial oils in my routine. I feel like they are the bodyguard for our skin, they seal all the products underneath. I have tried two oils till now and here is what I thought: Initially when I used the Biossance oil I thought it worked great, but my skin started breaking out very badly after3-4days and I stopped using the oil all together. I was very scared to use facial oil after my bad experience with this. BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil Then I came across Drunk elephant and with all those glimmering reviews I decided to give Marula oil a try and I never regretted it. My skin didn’t break out at all. And the oil also gets absorbed by my skin quickly and doesn't leave an oily icky residue. I especially love using this at night, when I have more time to massage my face. It minimizes the tugging from facial tools or friction from your fingers. Not everyone likes or needs oils on their face; but if you do, then don’t think twice before buying this! :)DRUNK ELEPHANT - Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil

The small town in India that I
The small town in India that I was born and brought up in is in the Western Ghats and the fruit that Kokum butter is derived from is indigenous to this region. My Grandma and Mum used to slightly heat this hard crumbly butter and use the lightweight non-greasy oil as a moisturizer for face and body. I used only this until I thought I was the smarter one buying jars off beauty shelves and staying away from facial oils. Like always my Grandma was right, facial oils can do wonders in giving you the balanced skin you seek. Sharing some of the oils in my stash biossance Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil: A tiny sample of this oil that I received in a Sephora favorites box was enough to convert me. I purchased a full size and absolutely love this smooth oil, that sinks in beautifully . With Squalane, Vitamin C derivative Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate and Damascus Rose Extract this oil gives you radiant skin while adding the essential moisture huxley Oil light and more: This is a lightweight oil with the signature fresh cut grass Huxley scent and is a blend of antioxidant-rich, Organic Sahara Prickly Pear Cactus Oil, Jojoba Oil, and Sunflower Oil that melts seamlessly into skin, providing plumping hydration. I love using a few drops prior to sheet masking and I've seen this amplify the results of the sheet mask Urangnatural Vitamin Oil Serum: Made with 97.6% organic ingredients, this with jojoba and rosehip oils, is packed with linolenic acids, vitamin A, vitamin D, vitamin B-carotene, and vitamin E. Unfortunately I don't reach out to this beautiful oil serum as often only because there are other oils in my stash that I'm currently using africanbotanics Fleurs D'Afrique Intensive Recovery Oil:This highly concentrated oil made with exotic extracts like night-blooming Baobab flowers, Jasmine Grandiflorum, Blue Marine Microalgae with plant-derived CoQ10, Vitamin C and Retinol has a luxurious Jasmine scent and is lightweight

I’ve Tried Biossance For A Week And Here’s What Happened...
I bought these products at a discount at Sephora for my morning skin care routine.🌞 1) Spray: BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Hyaluronic Toning MistThe mist is ultra fine and it moisturizes my face well but it doesn't smell good. I usually use it as a toner and have never used it after makeup, so I don't know how it is as a setting product. 2) Vitamin C Rose Oil: BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil I'm adamant about using vitamin C in the morning and vitamin A (retinol) at night, and this product is just great for morning use. It's very moisturizing and is not greasy at all. 3) Serum:BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Phyto-Retinol Serum With Biossance, now I don't have to worry about using products with retinol during the day. 4) Probiotic Gel Moisturizer: BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Probiotic Gel MoisturizerIt smells like cheese and is super hydrating and moisturizing, protecting my skin perfectly. I also use it at night sometimes. Overall, I could feel my skin improving in just a week.✌ Combined with the use of acids and retinols at night, my skin is never dry during the day anymore. I have to say though, squalane is very hydrating and even has anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant and anti-aging properties, which is very suitable for morning skin care routines.😘

MŪN AMAN Protect + Revive Mois
MŪN AMAN Protect + Revive Moisturizer Aman is Berber for “water” which evokes the moisture retaining abilities of the desert harvested botanicals which inspired this gel cream. This gel cream is formulated with niacinamide, vitamins & other antioxidant rich desert harvested extracts to protect, moisturize, improve skin’s barrier function, brighten and provide anti-aging and antipollution benefits. This has a thicker gel cream texture. It’s able to be a moisturizer on its own unlike many gel creams I’ve come across. I’ve been using this in the morning for the last few weeks. I found two pumps is perfectly capable of hydrating my skin extremely well. This is easily the most moisturizing gel cream I’ve tried to date. The closest thing I can think of to AMAN’s texture is the Sisley Black Rose Skin Infusion Cream. I loved how hydrating this is. It easily plumps & firms the skin. I rarely can use a gel cream alone as a moisturizer without a lotion on top. At night or in winter I may have to add a lotion on top or under this. I can see this paring well with Stratia Liquid Gold or Paula’s Choice Omega underneath for winter. MŪN is known for it’s prickly pear oil as it’s the signature ingredient. Prickly pear oil is high in linoleic acid or omega 6 which is anti-inflammatory & healing. It has high amounts of vitamin E making it a great antioxidant. Prickly pear oil contains phytosterols (maintain healthy skin barrier, assist with collagen production) & polyphenols (antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, fight free radical scavangers, reduce redness & irritation). Prickly pear is one of my favorite oils as it’s brightening, nourishing, anti-aging & helps restore elasticity. AMAN makes a wonderful addition to the MŪN Skincare family!

BEAUTYBIO - The Quench Quadralipid Rapid Recovery Facial Moisturizer BEAUTYBIO - The Radiance Brightening Vitamin E + Rosehip Seed Facial Oil I am a huge BeautyBio fan. I think their packaging is beautiful and their product are effective and scientifically backed. Two of my favorite products are definitely The Quench and The Radiance. And when you mix these two together, the glow is unreal people let me tell you. The Radiance has an amazing scent but it might also be dependent on your taste! To me it smells like fall in a bottle and others have complained it’s fishy smelling. So I guess it’s personal preference! The Radiance is full of omegas and Rosehip seed oil so it’s brightening and strengthening! The Quench is chock full of lipids, fatty acids, and ceramides to strengthen and protect your skin! They truly are a match made in skincare heaven!

SUNDAY RILEY - Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream Update: I’ve started using this moisturizer with The Ordinary’s Niacinimide Serum, and have found it’s a lot better with that! It still doesn’t give me anything special, but it doesn’t feel and look as oily as it did without the Niacinimide serum. Original Review: Pro: It does moisturize. Cons: Doesn’t mix well. Leaves pores huge sometimes. Does not exfoliate or plump like it claims it does. I cant speak to whether this actually brightens dark spots because I don’t have many and haven’t used it consistently enough for that. This is definitely a moisturizing product as it claims to be. My issue is that despite being oil-free, it leaves my face looking and feeling oily all day if I use it with serums. Has to be used on its own, or with drying products - doesn’t mix well and leaves skin oily when I do mix it. This product also somehow leaves my pores looking huge. Despite claiming to have exfoliating and plumping properties, I haven’t noticed it do either.
