Wanna get rid of Stretchmarks?
So I recently emptied my @strivectin SD cream for wrinkles and stretchmarks and I thought I’d check in and update you on my stretchmark situation. So. They’re still there. BUT they are actually barely noticeable- what it does look like right now is wrinkly skin 🙃 So the SD cream (pink tube) helped lighten the stretchmarks so theyre no longer red, but theyre also not white like stretchmarks normally become after residing on tour body for some time. They just blend in with my skin and I feel like they’ve thinned out too, so theyre not as wide as they were before- which may just be because the skin is looser (hence the wrinkliness) and needs to be tightened. Enter the @strivectin Body Tightening cream. I’ve actually had this for a while but havr been terrible at using it, but I’m going to use it more now that I finished the SD cream. Obviously some exercise will help tighten and tone the abdomen area, so yes, I will try to do some of that too. And since we’re here if also like to mention I had been using @brooklynbotany coffee scrub on my belly because coffee is a good for skin toning, perfecting and unifying- coffee scrubs have long been used for stretchmarks so I gave it a go, and if nothing else, I love the smell of coffee so 🙌🏼.

Yes you can glow during quarantine✨
I love body care. It’s the staple to feeling good and feeling confident (especially during summer months). I love to exfoliate my skin & to make sure any darkness, bumps, & stretch marks go away. I use (L👉🏽R) Dove - Beauty Bar Soap this is in the “Summer Care” edition it’s smells like mangos and guava. PACIfICA - Sugared Crystal Supercharged Body Scrub smells like watermelon and other fruits. I love this as a scrub for those days I want extra extra clean. It’s vegan too 💕 BROOKLYN BOTANY - Arabica Coffee Body and Face Scrub I love this scrub. It does have a very strong coffee smell but it gets the jobs done. It’s also blended with coconut oil to leave a moisturizing effect of your skin. I use this mainly on my stretch marks. Dove - Exfoliating Body Polish Crushed Macadamia & Rice Milk this really smells like vanilla to me. It’s probably the lightest of my scrubs and products I use to exfoliate. It leaves a nice conditioned feel on my skin. I use this before I use my soap and it leaves my skin super smooth. -Dry brush I got from amazon. I use this once a week & mainly in my stomach, thighs, & butt. Always rub towards your heart (proper way to detox lymphatic system). I always use this dry before I get into the shower & make sure I rinse and wash that area really well.
Brooklyn Botany Review
Yesterdays textures were sugar and salt scrubs you can use on body, some on face, some on lips 👄 @brooklynbotany is a local brand that makes face and body scrubs and shampoos using all natural ingredients and essential oils. From front to back: ✨ Brown sugar scrub- smells delicious 🤤 I love using this on my face and lips for a gentle exfoliation. Its also made in an oil so it leaves your skin feeling soft, smooth 😋 . ✨ Coffee scrub- probably my favorite one. Ive always wanted a coffee scrub for stretchmarks, and this one has all the necessary essential oils for just that, and also helps treat cellulite and overall skin texture. I use this on problem areas and I’m loving it so far, but its definitely a product to use longterm to see best results ☕️ . ✨ Tea Tree Oil scrub- this is a salt scrub made with dead sea salts, so they are coarser. Tea tree is known for its antibacterial qualities, making it a good treatment for acne. Tea tree oil is often used as a spot treatment for blemishes. Ive been using this on problem areas on my body, and on the backs of my arms for Keratosis Pilaris and has been very effective in smoothing those out . ✨ African Soap Body Scrub- this is a very soft scrub, I really love using this on dry areas of the body, like legs, knees, elbows; it really helps exfoliated dead skin while moisturizing and hydrating at the same time. Its been really helping with the dry areas over this winter . ✨ British Rose Body Scrub- probably the gentlest scrub of all, I find it to be the runniest formula, making it very soft to use on the body. It is also the most fragrant, made with natural flower extract, but it smells lovely, definitely not overpowering. This has been great is smoothing my skin, and I use it on my KP after tea tree to help with the redness. 🌹 Overall I really live this brand, and definitely have a few favorites I will use probably forever 😄
Forehead wrinkles and pores.
My forehead is the part of my face that shows age the most. I’ve always wrinkled my forehead but the wrinkles only became noticeable in the past year. The top picture was taken in May and the bottom picture in December. When it comes to skincare, I tend to play the long game. I rarely see instant results so I like to give products some time to work. Overall, I’ve noticed that my forehead wrinkles are less noticeable, my pores are less visible and my skin looks healthier and brighter. SEPHORA COLLECTION - Ultra Glow Serum: Glow + Strengthen Vitamin C SerumI started using this serum in the mornings under my moisturizer in May. I found this serum to be devoid of any weird smells, lightweight and almost watery in texture. My skin absorbs the serum right up and it doesn’t feel oily or sticky afterward. My only issue with this formula is that it comes in a clear bottle. Everything I’ve read says Vitamin C degrades with light. I hope Sephora figured out how to keep the serum stable in a clear bottle but I wasn’t sure so I kept it inside the box to minimize light exposure. Has anyone contacted Sephora about this? I didn’t see this addressed on the product’s page. StriVectin - SD Advanced Plus Intensive Moisturizing Concentrate For Wrinkles & Stretch MarksI usually follow up the Vitamin C serum with this Moisturizing Concentrate every morning. I also use this concentrate in the evening. The formula is creamy but thicker than other moisturizers I’ve used in the past. It leaves my skin feeling very moisturized. I only use a little bit because my skin won’t absorb all of it if I apply too much. LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer UV SPF 30I finish my morning routine with this moisturizer because my skin loves it! I don’t get breakouts from this formula and it has SPF. A definite AM winner. I’m keeping the StriVectin and the La Roche-Posay products but I’m trying a new Vitamin C serum that has better packaging.
Old vs New: Moisturizers 🖤
Moisturizer is such a must!! It doesn’t matter what skin type you have, you always have to use a moisturizer! A rule of thumb is cream moisturizers work best for dry skin while gel typically work best for oily skin. That being said there are a few exceptions. For me that one exception was the StriVectin - SD Advanced Plus Intensive Moisturizing Concentrate For Wrinkles & Stretch Marks This by far was one of my favorite moisturizers I’ve used. I was lucky enough to win it in a giveaway because a 2 oz bottle costs $79. Strivectin claims this stretch mark cream turned anti-wrinkle moisturizer will provide 72 hours of hydration, while reducing fine lines, wrinkles, and improving skins texture. Now I’m 24, I know I don’t have many wrinkles to correct but what this did do was help smooth out my skin a lot. I’ve noticed how soft, smooth, and hydrated my skin does feel after using it. It’s a cream formula so I mainly use this at night but it isn’t heavy on the skin nor make me super oily. I do think it’s improved the elasticity of my skin as well. Purely for the price and the fact I have way too many moisturizers in my stock pile I did not repurchase. My new moisturizer is one I’ve used before but it is one I enjoy. The FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair BarriAIR Cream Safe for Sensitive Skin has a texture that I’ve never felt before! When you open the jar the product inside is bubbles but underneath is the actual product. It’s almost like a gel cream hybrid that feels light as air on the skin. It can feel a little slimy at first so I don’t think this is for everyone but once you work in the product it feels light as air on the skin. It feels very hydrating and nourishing. I also really appreciate the fact it is fragrance free!! I really like this because I feel like it helps my skin barrier which is always a little dehydrated and damaged. Both have very different textures but work so well for my oily skin. If you have more dry skin and the money to spend (or more mature skin) I would completely recommend the Strivectin. If you’re looking for a cheaper option or have oily skin you might really love the lightweight hydration the First Aid Beauty. 🖤 What are some of your favorite moisturizers?
This #TextureTuesday shot somehow makes me feel a little serene amidst all the chaos happening right now. Maybe it’s because the new Caudalie Vinosculpt Lift & Firm Body Cream has been a regular part of my self-care routine lately! First of all, it’s lightly scented with notes of orange blossom which you know I LOVE (also happens to be great for anxiety). It has a whipped consistency that’s rich but absorbs fairly quickly leaving the skin smooth, visibly firm, and deeply nourished. This formula contains an effective blend of grape polyphenols and iris extracts to tone and tighten while organic shea butter maintains the skin's hydration. While it’s too soon to fully speak for its firming and toning capabilities, I’m really enjoying this body cream. Such a great indulgence now and well beyond this craziness. As always Caudalie does not disappoint! $45 for 250ml* CAUDALIE - Vinosculpt Lift & Firm Body Cream

Fine Lines And Wrinkles: What's the Differences & How To Prevent
Hectic routines, erratic eating and sleeping habits and changing lifestyles have caused our skin to become sensitive and prone to common problems such as fine lines and wrinkles. Often you might have heard the terms ‘fine lines and wrinkles’ in TV commercials, but do you actually know the difference between them?
Belly Mask???? 🤨
When I say this at target I had to buy it.... I had so many questions... What the actual what is a belly mask???? Why do they make this??? What does it feel like?? Would it even make a difference??? Waste of money???? - a sheet mask for your belly. - to help with a tighter/ flatter stomach. - it felt pretty weird but stayed on way better than expected. - no. - kinda. This is defiantly a fun thing to try and I was actually pleasantly surprised with it this belly mask.. it smelt super yummy like coconuts! 🥥 I just truly don’t think using this mask would make a difference if you use it one time! It would have been nicer to have it in a pack where you could try over a period of time to see an actual difference. 🤷🏼♀️ It does have coffee and caffeine in it which can help energize skin and could help with sagging skin! yesto - Tighter + Firmer Belly Up Paper Mask Nonetheless, it was a cute little novelty mask to try and it left my belly feeling soft! But don’t waste your $3.99! ❤️ #cheriecreator

Lift & Firm
This VinoSculpt Lift and Firm Body Cream is so thick and luscious and it smells so wonderful. It smells so earthy and it feels smooth upon application as well. I have used it nightly for over a week and a half now and I can see a difference in how my skin feels. I love that the consistency isn’t TOO thick and still gives a fluffy and light texture. I am sorry but I totally used this as an all over body cream... even though the directions say to use on arms, chest, stomach and butt. It isn’t drying at all so it sits on your skin perfectly and keeps it feeling moisturized throughout the night. I literally LOVE this cream and will totally purchase it after this tub is gone. Second chance gone well
I've been trying out the Clarisonic Mia Smart Age-defying Radiant + Uplifted Skin Set that includes the White Mia Smart device with three brush heads (daily radiance, firming massage, and revitalizing brush heads) and the Radiance Foaming Milk Cleanser to target the signs of anti-aging. I've tried the clarisonic - Mia Smart Anti-Aging and Cleansing Skincare Device with the radiance brush head before and I made it clear that I did not like it at all. However, when Clarisonic sent over this holiday set to try as a gift, I decided to give it a second chance because it did include two new brush heads that I haven't tried before. — My favorite has got to be the firming massage head which I use every night as the last step. I've been using it daily for over two weeks and I make sure to pair it with an anti-aging or firming ampoule or oil product. When I use it after cleansing, I immediately notice a difference. I want to continue using it longer for small wrinkles under my eyes, but I definitely see a difference in my jawline since I've been using it for a couple of weeks now. — The radiance brush head is still too irritating for my skin so I've been avoiding it, but I do like the revitalizing brush head SO. MUCH. BETTER. I've been enjoying it daily during my cleansing routine. Not only is it a lot more gentle for my skin compared to the radiance brush head, but the bristles are more plush, and they're soft to use all over the face. It pairs well with a foaming cleanser like the milk cleanser that is also included in this set. I think choosing the right brush head is the key when it comes to Clarisonic devices and I'm so glad I found a good one to change my experience with the brand. If you’re looking for a cleansing tool to invest in, I’d definitely recommend it!

We use skincare tools for different reasons and it’s usually to increase blood flow and improve absorption. I’ve been using this beauty tool twice a week and it’s really been a pleasure because I feel like I have my own DIY spa! It tingled the first time I used it because I guess my skin wasn’t used to the low-level electrical impulses it produced. Eventually, my skin got the hang of it and I was able to heighten up the intensity. The Facepump Premium has 24k gold plated head made and suitable for sensitive muscles and it helps in lifting and tightening the skin as well. Now I know it’s too early to see visible signs of ageing especially for my skin, but I do like the idea of preventing it. It also allows the skin to absorb the products you apply faster than the usual. I’d usually use this after I apply my water-based products and/or while I have my mask sheet on and carefully massage it upward and outward avoiding the eye area. The LED red light targets scarring, wrinkles, deep lines and evening out the skin - promoting activation and collagen. If I don’t look 12 after months of using this, I don’t know anymore. Hahaha! All jokes aside, it’s a great tool to have around if you want to invest in an anti-ageing device!
