Retinol alternative. Does Bakuchiol work?
Bakuchiol - is it really a retinol alternative? 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝘽𝙖𝙠𝙪𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙤𝙡? >>A vegan, all natural plant extract, said to be a 𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘰𝘭 𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦. Bakuchiol comes from the Babchj plant and is a compound isolated from the seeds and leaves. It is then commercially purified to become what we are seeing in skincare, Bakuchiol oil. 𝘿𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙞𝙩 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠? There is not enough studies or research on how it works particularly at this time, BUT with the few that there are, 𝙔𝙀𝙎, 𝙞𝙩 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙨. ✰ improves sign of aging. Has the same collagen boosting properties as Retinol. ✰ its an antioxidant! It fights against free radicals. ✰ fades pigmentation. It inhibits melanin production. ✰ antibacterial + anti-inflammatory. Fights acne! 𝙄𝙨 𝙞𝙩 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙖 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙤𝙡 𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚? It’s honestly just as effective according to research. You do have to use it am and pm to achieve the same results just from nightly retinol. ✰ not sun sensitive, wear this night and day! ✰ better suited for sensitive skin types that can’t handle retinol yet. 𝙣𝙞𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙗𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮. You can find a cheaper alternative to Bakuchiol by using Niacinamide with ALMOST the same results. The two ingredients do things differently, but help with similar concerns. 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙤𝙡? USE BOTH! Bakuchiol stabilizes Retinol, helps it work longer, and also helps skin sensitivity to retinol. HERBIVORE - Bakuchiol Serum This Bakuchiol serum really didn’t do much for me. It will not be a repurchase. It does not compare to a lower dose/% of retinol at all for me. While it has a nice tacky yet luxurious texture, it pretty much just made my skin feel hydrated and that’s about it. I will be trying the rest of this serum with my retinol as I have read new things about them working better together, so we will see!
Acid Treatment Fav🥰🥰 And Meh🙄🙄
Acids are daily essentials for acne-prone skin and bring great results. I've tried seven to eight acids these past two years. I have chose some of my meh and favs. I'm now going to share with you guys. SUNDAY RILEY - Good Genes Lactic Acid Treatment: I'm very satisfied with it. I've previously used The Ordinary - Azelaic Acid Suspension 10%. Although it helps to control acne breakouts and unclog pores, it neither soothes my skin nor does it feel good on my skin, leaving it dry and even irritating it a little, but not this Sunday Riley lactic acid treatment! Although it's an acid, it really moisturizes well. I have very dry skin, so I only use a toner and a lactic acid serum in the evening which is enough for my skin to become smooth the next day. It's great at controlling acne breakouts, and I had basically no acne or bumps in the two months of using it. DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial Mask: The main ingredients are 25% fruit acid plus 2% salicylic acid. It still irritates my skin a little even though I have a high skin tolerance. It needs to be washed it off after 10 minutes, so I only use it once a week. To be honest, the results aren't too impressive, so it's not really worth its price. HERBIVORE - Bakuchiol Serum: Its packaging is stunning but this serum receives very polarized reviews. The main ingredient is retinol, which focuses on unclogging pores and increasing skin metabolism. It has a light purple gel-like texture and provides a similar experience as when using The Ordinary Azelaic Acid Suspension. It's effective but it irritates the skin and is expensive. I recommend The Ordinary as it's really good value for money. Have you used any of these products? 🙂 What are your meh and fav recently? Comment here!

An amazing brand with a great vitamin c serum!
I love Three Ships Beauty formulates with all natural ingredients and uses the best natural products to deliver the best results, and effectively! I also love that they have an ingredient glossary on their site to show just how transparent they are with their ingredients! So Dew Drops is a vitamin-c serum with hydrating capabilities. The vitamin c content comes from the kakadu plum- which I’ve learned is actually the worlds highest source of vitamin c 😱 and has the potential to brighten, anti-age, neutralize free radicals and flush out toxins with its antioxidant capability. The serum is also formulated with tremella mushroom- or snow mushroom which is rich is hydrating ingredients like hyaluronic acid and gluconic acid- two humectants and great hydrators 🙌🏼 When I first swatched this I wanna as shocked how smooth it made my skin feel within seconds! Its a gel serum and feels a tiny but jelly but once worked into the skin, feels like water and soaks up so amazingly. My skin has been feeling so smooth since I started using it 🧖🏼♀️ And always, you can save 20% with my affiliate code Leena20 at @threeshipsbeauty checkout, if you want to try a new vitamin c serum- this is the one! #cheriepartner
My favorite serums- Vitamin C edition
Vitamin C serums are hard. You need to find a good one thats stable, has good packaging to maintain the stability, and you have to be able to recognize when its oxidized. I’ve found some great vit c serums that you need to use up right away- and some that are a bit more stable. L-ascorbic acid is the most unstable form of vitamin c, and all of these serums contain that ingredient. Probably the best two in terms of stability are the VICHY - LiftActiv Specialist Peptide-C Anti-Aging Ampoules and NEOSTRATA - Vitamin C Concentrate as they are single use products encapsulated in a single use packet like a capsule (neostrata) or an ampoule (vichy). Technically, VICHY - LiftActiv Specialist Peptide-C Anti-Aging Ampoules is a two-use product as you’re supposed to use half an ampoule during the day and the other half at night, but thats still a good way to keep the product stable. These ahould be stored in the dark to maintain their stability as well. I have to say I favour the Neostrata one because of the texture. Its such a silky texture, it doesnt feel liquidy like the rest, which my oily skin lovesss. OLE HENRIKSEN - Banana Bright Vitamin C Serum has an opaque package so light wont be able to get through, keeping the product stable for longer. It is naturally orange/yellow due to the banana powder in the product to immediately brighten the skin, so its hard to tell if its oxidized, but with its type of packaging, and if you use it up right away (no rotation) you should be good. three ships - Dew Drops Mushroom Hyaluronic Acid + Vitamin C Serum is a natural product source of vitamin c. The l-ascorbic acid content is from the kakadu plum making this product more stable as the vit c source is a plant extract and not the unstable chemical itself. I do have a coupon code to allow you to save 20% on their products- Three Ships is an amazing natural skincare brand! Enter LEENA20 at checkout! Lastly, VIVIER - Radiance Serum has the most stable formula- wirh vitamin e and ferulic acid to help keep the vitamin c in its most stable form, and its stored in a black bottle, keeping light from penetrating. It comes out as a clear serum, so itll be easy to detect oxidization. If used up right away, you should be good too. #cheriepartner
Vo Beauty Review
This cleansing balm is LEGIT. It works sooo well, I love how effective it is as removing makeup, not leaving any residue, and not leaving an oily feeling when washed off. My favourite thing about this cleansing balm is 🔊 IT DOES WELL WITH WATER 🔊 This is a game changer for me personally, because I used cleansing balms and oils in the past that wouldnt wash off with water, and so I found myself wiping the melted residue off with a cotton pad. Now, thats not bad at all, and actually wiping off with a cotton pad is really effective, but for me, a cleansing balm is supposed to be this sustainable step that omits having to use disposable cotton pads. If you have reusable ones, that definitely helps, but honestly I dont gave very many so I find myself using the disposable ones alot and I’m trying to end that part of my life BUT I digress. Bottom line is I love that this washes off with water, and actually the addition of water emulsifies the product, making for a better, more effective makeup removal ✨ It doesnt foam up like a cleanser or anything, it quite literally forms a milky texture, which feels very soothing and leaves the skin feeling soft and supple. This makes it definitely dry-skin friendly, but its even great for oily skin since it doesnt leave behind an oily or greasy film, yet leaves the skin feeling hydrated. I have combo-oily skin and I definitely feel like this product fits my skin type 💯 Definitely recommend to anyone. . This is a loval Canadian brand, they make so many great products, I’ve talked about the Manuka Glow mask before- this brand is definitely worth checking out. If you’re interested I have a code Leena10 that helps you save 10% off their products ☺️
New Cleansing Balm
I was introduced to this new cleansing balm by Vo Beauty and I think its amazing and so unique. Ive used other cleansing balms before and actually found them really effective in removing makeup, but annoying to wash off. Typically they do not wash off with water and I don’t immediately cleanse over top of the balm, so I found myself removing them with a cotton pad, which I felt was kind of counterintuitive to the purpose of a cleansing balm. Enter Milky Melt Away. Really unique and effective ingredients and the best part about this is that it emulsifies when you add water 🤯 This made it so easy to wash off and didnt even feel greasy once it was removed! There was definitely no filmy residue and actually made my skin feel really clean. I loved it. I normally go in with a toner just to be sure my double cleanse did in fact remove everything and I’m happy to report that this, in addition to my regular cleanser afterwards left 0 makeup residue behind. I was squeaky clean. Gifted, thoughts are my own, and I have a code to help you save 10% with this brand because I truly love their products and think everyone should try them. My favorite serums
Serums are my favorite step in my routine. It is the step that will deliver the most actives as they usually contain higher concentrations, and their texture is thinner, since they have more humectants and can penetrate the epidermis better. I like to use antioxidant serums to help neutralize free radicals, a vitamin C to brighten the skin and provide more antioxidants, an amazing hydrating serum to combat my slightly dehydrated skin, and an exfoliation serum, to combat my pores. I cant leave out a good vitamin c serum from my collection three ships - Dew Drops Mushroom Hyaluronic Acid + Vitamin C Serum is a new launch and has high quality natural ingredients. The main vitamin c source is kakadu plum, known for its asbcoric acid content- higher than that of oranges! It has a jelly texture and absorbs perfectly into the skin. It was love at first use with this. I actually have a coupon code that saves you 20%- LEENA20- just enter it at checkout! In this collection I also have my all-time favorite VICHY - Minéral 89 Face Serum with Hyaluronic Acid abhydrating serum with 89% Vichy Thermal water and hyaluronic acid- a leading ingredient in hydration research. I love this serum for the benefits and the texture. It strengthens the skin barrier and is sooo light, its easily layered with another serum. It leaves the skin feeling smooth and silky. Two serums in this collection are antioxidant serums. VICHY - IDÉALIA SERUM and fresh - Vitamin Nectar Glow Juice Antioxidant Face Serum . I love both of these for different reasons. They both have great ingredients- blueberry and black tea in Idealia and a cocktail of citrus extracts in Fresh (and it smells delicious). I prefer the texture of the Idealia serum, it is lighter and absorbs better for me. I still dont mind the texture of Fresh, so it still gets a 5star- I honestly dont know which one I’d rather restock. Another serum I love is HERBIVORE - Prism 12% AHA + 3% BHA Exfoliating Glow Serum exfoliating serum. I love getting my exfoliation from a serum because I find they work best that way. My pores have been amazing since using this. #cheriepartner
my daily line up
Not Listed face VICHY - Mineralizing Thermal Water Spray Rich in 15 Minerals and VICHY - LiftActiv Specialist Peptide-C Anti-Aging Ampoules body Neutrogena - Fragrance-Free Hydro Boost Body Gel Cream Overall this handful of products keeps me moisturized and clear. The La Roche Posay cleansing bar has niacinamide and keeps my tone even and acne at bay. I love it. If I use a serum, no matter how long I wait for it to absorb if I apply sunscreen there is so much piling :(!! the sunscreen on it's own it's good though, just have to use it on a naked face! I usually have Neutrogena - Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel Moisturizer on hand, it makes my cheeks soo plump and have never been able to get them plump without it. I tried this Vichy version and it makes my face have a different type of feel that is also satisfying. i went on a whim and ordered a big haul off the Vichy website when I needed some vitamin C. I dont regret my haul! order arrived quickly and does the trick. for reference, I have soft water in my house and combo skin. oily TZone, normal, and acne prone. I'm 25. looking for an exfoliant!! any recommendations?!?

SERUMS VS OILS ?! WHATS THE DIFFERENCE ?!
I’ve seen this mistake made in many routines, including my own! When first getting into skincare, and experimenting with all sorts of new goodies it can be tough sometimes to understand a products function and what order to apply each product. It took me forever to figure out how to incorporate oils into my routine without just making myself look like a greasy monster 🙄 So I wanted to bring it back to basics and talk about the difference between facial serums and facial oils ✨ SERUMS: ✨ These are a treatment step, serums contain up to 70% active ingredients making them highly potent and results oriented. ✨Serums are made up of small molecules that are able to penetrate and deposit powerful actives into the deeper layers of the skin. ✨Serums can have moisturizing ingredients, but aren’t considered moisturizers in the traditional sense. You need to follow a serum with a moisturizer to create a barrier on top and keep all the good stuff in. ✨You should always use serums before moisturizer and never as a replacement FACIAL OILS: ✨Are best suited as a hydration step, the molecules are much larger meaning they are only serving the outermost layers of the skin. ✨Oils provide a boost of nutrition and hydration, they help nourish and strengthen the skin barrier. ✨Oils should be applied after serums and moisturizer, and can actually be used to replace your moisturizer. ✨ You only need about 2-3 drops of oil to cover your face without leaving a greasy film. A couple of my favourite are: SERUMS: ONE LOVE ORGANICS - Botanical C Facial Serum The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% HERBIVORE - Prism 12% AHA + 3% BHA Exfoliating Glow Serum OILS:HERBIVORE - Emerald Deep Moisture Glow Oil YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superberry Hydrate + Glow Oil
My Favorite Serums (Dry & Senstive Skin) 🤩
When I shops for a serum, there are two things I evaluate before spending the 💵: * Can it help dry skin? * Will it irritate me? Well these two products are what been saving my skin the past few months from stress and dryness. They don’t do anything fancy other than hydrate my skin & exfoliate to give me a glow 🌟 The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 can be purchased for just $6 at ULTA and is the best HA I have used so far. It plumps my skin, packs in hydration, and is non-irritating. The texture is like a lightweight gel and little goes a long way. I apply it by pressing it into my skin after I have applied my toner. HERBIVORE - Prism 12% AHA + 3% BHA Exfoliating Glow Serum is an amazing AHA/BHA exfoliator and perfect for those of us with dry skin. It has a very similar texture to the HA from The Ordinary, and feels just as hydrating too. This product is a bit on the pricier side [retailing for $54] so if this is out of your price range, my next fave exfoliating serum would be The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 5% + HA ⭐️ The Prism serum I typically apply during my night routine and the Hyaluronic Acid is used on an everyday basis. I love using both with my HONEST - Calm On Foaming Cream Cleanserand my FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Wild Oat Hydrating Toner 💛 I usually follow up with the FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration as my moisturizer 🧴 ✨ What are your favorite serums? #CheriePartner
A trending ingredient that will changw your skin
Niacinamide must have been around for a long time (it must’ve right?) but I only discovered it this year- a few years really late! I have combo-oily skin, a bit acne prone, but my biggest issue is large pores. I hate the pores around my nose and cheeks, theyre sometimes so evident in selfies, and theyre worse in the summer. Ya, they may be genetic but I have found something that IS working to help minimize their appearance- niacinamide! Niacinamide is an all-atound ingredient though. In the right concentrations it can be a gentle exfoliator, pore unclogger, smoother and brightener as well. I have found it in my products to help with pores and brighten my akin as well. My GROUNDED SAGE SKINCARE - Raw Radiance Facial Moisturizer has niacinamide in a small concentration and I really love it. Then I got The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% and I had been adding into my night hydrating cream and really like the benefits of it that way as well- I just add a drop or two. I recently got VO BEAUTY - Hydra Cloud W/Niacinamide & Allatoin and I really love the texture and I’m sure its going to give me similar results as well. Another thing I love about these products that I find in common with them is the texture. I’m mot sure if it has something to do with the niacinamide but I find the two creams (not The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% ) feels nice and thick and has a whipped-like texture. And not thick in a greasy way- rather, thick in a moisturizing, protective- even mattifying way! I think the textures are comparable to frosting which is why I think theyre so good for oily skin- think how mattifies fondant is. How protective. Yummy right? But its similar to that texture, to me, and it feels SO good 👌🏼👏🏼 #cheriepartner
Summer to fall moisturizer switch
Depending on your skin type, you may want to switch moisturizers through the seasons, maybe because your skin types transitions a but through the seasons, maybe because your skin needs more (or less) based on reactions to the weather. For myself, I have combo-oily skin. In the summer time it leans more to the oily side and the fall/winter it goes more to the combo side, so I get less oily, and find the need for less mattifying products. Now usually I hear those with oily skin like to use a thinner gel or lotion texture because its lighter. But for me, gels and lotions make me feel shiny, so this summer I opted for my GROUNDED SAGE SKINCARE - Raw Radiance Facial Moisturizer even though it has a thicker texture, because it mattifies SO well. It feels like frosting on the skin, and feels kind of oil-proof, so I loves how it felt on my skin over the summer. It also has a great formula for oily skin, as it has niacinamide in it. Niacinamide is a great ingredient for clarifying pores, which in turn makes this an oil-controlling products, which explains why I liked it in the summer so much. Heading into fall now, I’m opting for my Dr Dennis Gross - Alpha Beta Exfoliating Moisturizer lotion texture moisturizer because I am getting less oily and actually this moisturizer is quite hydrating AND is an exfoliating moisturizer. Not that I get dry at all, but this feels really good going into the fall season because I do tend to get dehydrated, and I feel like this helps alot. Its not mattifying like GROUNDED SAGE SKINCARE - Raw Radiance Facial Moisturizer but i dont need that as much during this season. This moisturizer also keeps my oils and pores in check because of the actives in it- AHAs and BHAs, which I love keeping constant in my routine. I just maintain an spf with both of these products because ingredients like AHA, BHA and niacinamide can cause photosensitivity, and honestly you should just be wearing spf daily anyway. #cheriepartner
My ultimate natural makeup look. My version of no-makeup makeup skips foundation and focuses on bronzer with a little bit of blush. I also add mascara and brows because I just cant go without those, but the real deal here is the base. Instead of using a BB cream or a foundation or powder, etc, I mix some bronzing drops in with my sunscreen. This gives me a bronzed look, although doesnt give much coverage, and is very easy to apply. This is great when I also am running short on time, its very quick and easy, I just work the mixture in with my hands. Then i pile on the bronzer, add a little bit of blush, and finish with lashes and brows. I like a bronzer thats really golden brown against my skin tone but also has a bit of a shimmer, so it give a really subtle, natural glow, and also acts as a two-in-one product- bronzer and highlighter. So the key here is to find an appropriate bronzing drop colour for your skin tone but also to find the perfect ratio of bronzing drop to sunscreen mixture that gives you a tanned, bronzed look but also natural for your skin tone. Ie. This shade can look really dark on me if I apply too much, and would look really glittery because its has a luminous finish. Swipe to see my finished look. #cheriepartner
Myth: the higher the SPF, the more protected you are from UV rays. Truth: the truth is, theres not much difference between SPF 30 and 50 in terms of how much percentage of sun rays are blocked. I believe the you grt arohnd 97% coverage with an SPF30 and 98% with an SPF50. Realistically, you’re ok with an SPF30 or 40, and just make sure you’re reapplying every two hours or as directed. This has been a myth I grew up with and went into my teens with. I even saw an SPF100 one time. I was surprised when I was told to still be careful because SPF100 did NOT mean i was 100% covered and protected, which is a big part of why brands are no longer labelling or marketing for an SPF higher than 60; nowadays, thats the highest you’ll find on the shelf. I learned that in the recent years when I became more passionate and savvy about skincare, and now I use my favourite sunscreen by Vivier cosmetics, an SPF of 45 and its working great for me. I especially love the texture and feel on my oily skin. These stats are for UVB rays, UVA rays are different and are blocked out in different numbers, but thats a story for another post. For now, have fun with your SPF 30+!
BOMB SERUMS TO ADD TO ANY SKINCARE ROUTINE💕
let’s talk about my favourite skincare product- SERUMS!🥳 Serums are some of the best skincare products out there because they allow for a more concentrated ingredient to overall help your skin for what it needs😊 For me, I suffer with acne, but hyperpigmention and sometimes need extra hydration, even if I am super oily so these are three awesome serums that really help my skin overall!😘 OLE HENRIKSEN - Banana Bright Vitamin C Serum a bomb vitamin C serum that really helps brighten my overall complexion while helping fade any dark spots! This product also has PHAs which is a gentler form of an AHA to help with surface level issues like acne and texture to really smooth your skin. 😛 I truly love this serum, it works wonderfully and you can see your skin glowing right after using it and it’s gentle for sensitive skins to use as well! But it still has a form of chemical exfoliation so I only use this every other day FARMACY - Honeymoon Glow Serum an amazing AHA resurfacing serum I use in my PM routine! This legit makes your skin glow immediately but also the next morning you look radiant af!🤩 it also helps with any texture and acne along with pigmentation and overall evening out your skin tone as well! VOLITION - Snow Mushroom Water Serum this is a newer product in my routine I added for more hydration when I damaged my skin barrier snd my gosh did this blow me away!😱 this is some CRAY hydrating stuff. I have tried HA serums before but this one it’s def the best hydrating serum out there! You can legit immediately feel the boost in your skin, the plumpness that you can see and feel snd overall smoothening of your skin before applying other products. 💦 this is pricey but wow is it worth it! If you are oily snd need some extra hydration without weighing down your skin, this is at least a must try! WAY better than HA lol even though this is an HA 💫 Adding a vit c, a chemical exfoliation and hydrating serum to my routine has truly change my skin for the better and I can’t say enough good about all of them! 😝 #cheriepartner
Clean skincare that is more than a cute shefie💕
My skin is combination towards dry. I always need a good serum that provides deep hydration and long wear moisture. I love this serum from Volition. VOLITION - Snow Mushroom Water Serum I knew this brand through a social media partnership but I really fell in love with this product without any bias. Clean ingredients have changed my skin SO MUCH! Ever since I switched to clean beauty products, my skin has been clear and experienced minimal breakouts. This serum is a lightweight oil-free formula that hydrates the skin like a glass of water. I love the smooth texture on my skin. It’s safer for the skin and the environment. As an Asian, I am a big believer in mushroom. Traditional Chinese Medicine uses all kind of mushroom to boost immunity and energy. It’s great for health and skin as well. The product smells natural and subtle, no artificial fragrance. I use this product twice a day, in the morning and before bed. This is my second bottle. It does a lot to my skin - more than just hydration. It improved my redness under noses, evened my texture and reduced dullness. One thing to mention - this product only lasts about a month for me if I consistently use it twice a day. You may want to stock up if you really like this serum.
Out with the old, in with the New
Hey guys, so I know I posted my old skin care routine when I first started and I initially loved how it made my skin feel, but when I kept continuing using the products, I noticed they were not really giving me the results I wanted so I began to do some more research and I found the Caudalie products. I just started using them on May 27th. Caudalie is known for its clean and natural ingredients and I have very sensitive skin so I decided to give it a try. My main skin concerns is dark spots, uneven skin tone, and a few acne here and there. When I first started the routine, my skin began PURGING! I started getting a few more bumps than what I usually get on my face and I began to panic, but I decided to keep using the products, switched up my routine, and got rid of some of the old products I was using in my routine. Now my skin is starting to adjust which I am happy about. The bumps are going away and my dark spots are actually starting to fade away. It’s really true when they say some people’s skin do better when you use a more simple routine and I think that what my skin needed :). I will share my skin care routine in my next post.

I use a small amount on my face and neck.

𝐅𝐑𝐄 is specializing in skincare for active (sweating) skin. FRÉ Skincare is based on a very powerful and unique Argania Active Complex, made of organic Argan oil, Argan stem cells and Argan leaf water and has been proven to be extremely efficient on acne-prone skins, while remaining mostly natural and gentle on the skin. ⠀ I23Fre set, which includes: ⠀ ▪️ Step 1: 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐲 𝐌𝐞 is a hydrating facial cleanser. This is non-foaming cream cleanser with small beads, that cleanses well and leaves skin soft with no oily residue. Actually I cannot understand the purpose of beads, may be light massage, as they are so soft and there are not so many of them for additional cleansing (scrub) purpose. ⠀ ▪️ Step 2: 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐌𝐞 is a deep replenishing serum. Hydrating serum with signature Argania complex plus hydrating and nourishing actives. Super moisturizing, nourishing, lightweight, and gentle, this serum has texture of light cream and could replace both serum and moisturizer. ⠀ ▪️ Step 3: 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐌𝐞 is an ultra-light moisturizer with SPF30. A hypoallergenic formula that is non-comedogenic and ophthalmologist tested, so it won't clog pores or sting eyes. This sunscreen protects skin from UVA, UVB and IRA rays and pollution damage. It quickly absorbs with semi-matte finish. It doesn’t prevent from sweating, but keep skin less shiny/oily a bit longer. ⠀ Last, but not least, my husband like all these products too and use them almost daily (serum as an after-shave treatment), and moisturizer as go-to sunscreen, so girls, I am sure your couples will borrow these products too. ⠀

bellflower Azulene Daily Calming Serum from its ingredients to the usage and consistency. Honestly, I was a bit afraid to try this product since I have no expectations. I have oily, sensitive, and acne-prone skin so I’m scared this product may cause me another breakout. The first thing that I noticed after using this serum is hydration. It immediately feels like it's added moisture to the skin and the soothing sensation is quite evident. It visibly soothes itchiness and help calm blemishes, especially useful when my skin freaked out last week. I also found that a good concentration of niacinamide (2%) contributed some detectable improvement. My skin texture has improved. In fact, I feel like it’s smoother now and so I guess the skin repair does really work. I believe using niacinamide serum consistently will refill my skin’s deficiencies and strengthen it day after day. Although, a short trial period of only few weeks makes it hard to detect improvements in skin tone and brightness anyway. I think I would recommend this Bellflower Azulene Daily Calming Serum to anyone looking for a gentle niacinamide serum. It's easy to use and oily skin will appreciate the lightweight feel. I have seen a noticeable difference in my skin and have experienced no drying or irritating effects.
Bellflower-Azulene Daily Calming Serum
Sensitive Skin Saving Duo
My skin often gets really sensitive because I have allergies that are exacerbated seasonally. This usually happens to me closer to beginning of the spring/summer season. Whenever there is more pollen in the air, I get a really intense hive-like reaction all across my body. During this time, I have to keep my routine super simple to avoid making it worse. My simple routine consists of two steps — a gentle cleanse and hydration. While I’ve tried many different combinations, this is the one that assures that my skin will be happy. CLEANSE — fresh - Soy Face Cleanser Limited Edition This cleanser is super gentle, and has been a staple of mine for years. I can’t recommend it enough for absolutely everyone. The gentle nature of this cleanser makes it perfect for all skin types from oily to dry. This cleanser allows me to actually cleanse my skin without drying it out or compromising my skin barrier further. This is a perfect cleanser all the time, but when my skin is ultra-sensitive, it is a complete life-saver. HYDRATE — CAUDALIE - Vinosource S.O.S Thirst-Quenching Serum The perfect ultra-hydrating, soothing serum? YES. I discovered this serum around the same time as the cleanser, and it is absolutely one of the most hydrating serums I’ve ever used. Much like other Caudalie products, the inclusion of grape water infuses the skin with hydration that lasts. I can’t recommend this product enough. When my skin is irritated, this lightweight serum is one of the best and most effective hydrators. It’s formula ensures the delivery of hydration without irritation. The next time your skin is irritated or feeling sensitive, I highly recommend you check out this duo!
