Best Eyeshadow Palette
[NATASHA DENONA - Mini Sunset Eyeshadow Palette]
I actually love Natasha Denona's mini palettes more than her full sized ones because I feel the color stories are so much more complete in the minis. I also love how sleek this is that I can easily slip it into my purse.
The colors are beautiful and very pigmented! The mattes are effortlessly blendable, and the shimmers/metallics are always popping from the start. I really like that and I can't recommend these enough!
Best Single Eyeshadow
[MAC - Matte Eyeshadow]
colorļ¼saddle
I'm not usually drawn to single shadows but I'm so glad I bought āSADDLEā to add to my only cool toned shadow collection.
The shade is a beautiful pigmented gray and the formula is so smooth that it blends itself. There is some kickup so I recommend going in gently with a brush and tapping off the excess to avoid fallout. Highly recommend!
Best Liquid Eyeshadow
[STILA - Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow]
colorļ¼Rose Gold Retro
Who doesnāt love this?! Honestly, Iām in love with the glitter eyeshadows. Itās easy to apply and stays with no creasing! It makes your eye makeup look really nice without a lot of work.
Just be careful not to rub your eyes whenever you are wearing these because it will come out.

Hate It š
Iāve been wanting to try liquid eyeshadow so I picked up this one from Stila. Donāt do it! When this product says glitter they really do mean glitter. Glitter bomb more like.
I canāt express how bad this looked on my eyelids. Glitter was everywhere. It was the color of this liquid eyeshadow that I thought was pretty, but when I tried to blend it in the color just disappeared. All that was left... glitter.
From the outside this product looks pretty, but it was a nightmare to deal with. Even after a double cleanse the night I used this I still found glitter the next day. This eyeshadow definitely got promptly returned and I definitely would not recommend.

my everyday makeup ā ā§
iām here to share my everyday makeup! iāve stuck to this routine for a while and really love it. super simple but still makes me look put together for day to day activities and zoom calls lol.
Too Faced - Natural Face Palette i got this for christmas a couple years ago and put it away. itās never been used, but when i was going through my makeup i stumbled upon it and tried it for a couple days. i fell in love. my taste in makeup has been changing and i love more pinky blushes and donāt really need a super bright highlighter. i mix pink wink and pink sand on my cheeks and then after my eyeliner i use starlight for my inner corner highlight and my nose highlight. so beautiful and they pair so well. if u have a red undertone to your skin it makes you look so cute!!! highly recommend! also sometimes if i feel like it i put the bronzer shades on my eyelids for a bit of color
e.l.f. - Wow Brow Gel in a recent ulta order i decided to pick this up because iāve been trying to find my perfect tinted eyebrow gel, and i think iāve found it! i love the way it holds my brows and the color is perfect. i believe it has fibers in it and it makes my brows look so fluffy!
wet n wild - MegaLast Breakup-Proof Black Liquid Eyeliner this is the best drugstore eyeliner iāve ever tried. almost every eyeliner i try smudges bc i yawn a lot throughout the day. it always ends up under my eyes creating the raccoon eye effect. but not this one. it stays put, the color is super rich, and itās easy to apply once you get the hang of it as it is a brush tip.
NYX - Vinyl Liquid Liner this eyeliner is really hard for me to apply eyeliner bc iām not used to the brush yet. but i use it to put little dots under my eyes. i think itās a simple way to add some āØspice⨠to a simple makeup look š
wet n wild - Mega Length Mascara
i love this mascara and especially the price. it stays put and keeps my lashes curled. the formula is pretty light which i really like bc it doesnāt weigh down my lashes.
i forgot to add this product, but the last thing i do is put a little bit of stila - Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow in grace. i apply a little tiny bit on my finger and then gently pat it onto my eye. so beauty and again, a simple way to take a simple look to the next level. itās not too shimmery and subtle if you put a little bit. i love itš

Accurate 1950s Makeup Colours
This is a scale of colours that Iāve curated through research of the 1950s. The shades are exact colour matches of real 1950s colours.
Lipstick: Love that Red Head by Besame, Pink in the Afternoon by Revlon.
Blush: Ricardo RosƩ by Besame (club babalu pallette)
Eyeshadows: Babablu and Tropicana Taupe by Besame (Club babalu pallette)
Aqua by MAC (seafoam shade)
In the 1950s we start to see a broad range of makeup colours come to the public as restrictions on makeup products are lifted.
Lipstick was still a huge deal with (not overdrawn) but full Marilyn style lips. With popular colours being reds and pinks!
People tended to use eye shadows that were the same colours as their eyes - blues and greens becoming more popular.
Brows became fuller darker and more angled (Audrey hepburn-esque)
Blush was peachy and minimal often used as a slight face contour.

Old Hollywood Vintage Makeup š š½š¤
Hey Cherie Sisters!
Happy Friday Eve!
ā ļø First of all, I just want to say that I DO NOT condone smoking at all āļø š¬ š« ā ļø I just used it as a prop because cigarettes are always seen in old Hollywood films and I wanted to add an extra oomph to the theme. š
I looked at ā60s makeupā for inspiration. The 60s eye makeup emphasized the crease with dramatic winged liner and huge eyelashes. They stuck to neutral colors on the eyes and pair it with a peach or light pink lips. The beauty mark that Marilyn Monroe had was also popular.
I used my MAC eyeshadows for this look because was feeling nostalgic. MAC eyeshadows were my favorite. I remember that I only bought MAC eyeshadows and used them religiously. Using them again reminded me of how pristine MAC eyeshadows are. They were so pigmented, easy to work with and blended beautifully. I seriously fell in love all over again.
To achieve this look, I used:
1) MAC Embark which is an intense reddish-brown shade to define the crease. I used a smudger brush (Morphe M508)
2) I stamped MAC Soft Brown on top of Embark for that transition look.
3) Using my Wayne Goss 20 brush, I blended both colors together
4) I cut my crease using Tarte Shape tape then applied MAC Dazzlelight and Nylon on the lids
5) I used an angled eyeliner brush and a gel liner to draw a dramatic wing. I would suggest gel liner over liquid for more precision and drama
6) I applied MAC Soft Brown and Embark on the lower lash.
7) Use a white eyeliner to tight line. I used Colourpop Creme Gel Liner in Exit then use MAC Gesso (matte white eyeshadow) to intensify
8) Emphasize those lashes with falsies! I used House of Lashes in the style Bouidoir Lite
9) Apply lots of mascara on the bottom lash. Use falsies for bottom lashes to emphasize the look however, this step is optional
10) Channel your inner Marilyn Monroe and add that beauty marked.
11) For lips, I used KVD Vegan Beauty Liquid Lipstick in Lovecraft then topped it with Marc Jacobs Enamored Gloss in the shade Rah Rah!. A bold red lip would work too!
12) Enjoy!
I hope you recreate this look and would love to see your finished look! š¤

Wearable Neutral Makeup for the Holidays šāļøā¤ļø
Hey Cherie Fam š
I have been in to colors and dramatic eyeshadows lately. I know not everyone is in to dramatic and colorful eye looks so I created this wearable somewhat neutral looks for the holiday. I used warm cranberry shades with a pop of gold. I also used olive green shade on the lower lash line, but itās a muted olive green shade so itās not too dramatic.
I used my Natasha Denona mini gold and the mini sunset palette.
To achieve this look, I used:
⢠Guava (mini sunset) on the crease as a transition shade
⢠Dirty Mars (mini sunset) on the crease. Right below the the guava shade
⢠Apollo (mini sunset) on the outer v
⢠I did a half cut crease using shape tape concealer
⢠Dāoro (mini gold) on the half cut crease
⢠Antheia (mini gold) on the inner corner and lower lash
⢠Bia (mini gold) on the lower lash
⢠Mascara and lashes. I used House of lashes in the style temptress wispy
ā¢For the lips, I used REALHER lip liner āI am confidentā and Glamlite lip gloss in eggnog.
I hope you enjoyed this look and happy holidays to all! š
Xoxo,

Mini eyeshadow palettes comparison
Easy to bring- small eyeshadow palette
I remember few years ago, Natasha Denona suddenly became famous of its Sunset eyeshadow palette, the price is kind of expensive, which is $129. And I found that they also have mini eyeshadow palettes. So I got two of them, mini Star eyeshadow palette and mini Sunset eyeshadow palette.
Every mini eyeshadow palette has five shades, they go pretty prefect together.
Mini Sunset Eyeshadow Palette:
It is easy to see that this palette is reddish and orangish shades, 2 matte and 2 shimmering metallics and 1 sparkling foiled shade. The color tone of this palette is warm and glowing. When I want to have a summer or reddish makeup, I would definitely choose this combination.
Mini Star Eyeshadow Palette:
For this palette, the color combines different color tones, 2 nude colors, 1 green-brown duo-chrome, 1 brown color and 1 sparking golden olive. Greenish and brownish color tones create this palette. I like to use this palette for metallic or dark makeup effect.
Strong color payoff, pure pigments, extremely buildable, blendable and rich and cream texture are the characteristics of Natasha Denonaās eyeshadow. These two palettes are really small, they are soooo easy to bring and prefect for travel. Even with only 5 colors, youāll be able to meet your everyday needs. If not enough, just bring as many mini palettes as you want. They do not take a place.

Here're My Go To EYESHADOWs
I like to use different make up products for different occasions. Let me share two different eyeshadows to you guys.
Daily Life & Work & Soiree:
Pat McGrath Bronze Ambition Palette $65
This is a six colors eyeshadow palette, which meets everyday needs. One matte texture with five metallic pigments could create different elegance and style looks. Creamy and soft texture makes those pigments extreme blendability and adherence without creasing. The bronzish colors are what I need for my daily life and work. When I want to have some low key but elegance look, I would choose this palette definitely. I feel these colors make me look luxurious and uninhibited. Because of the prefect ignite metallic pigments, you can use for soiree for sure.
Date & Hang out with friends:
Natasha Denona Sunrise Palette $65
I got this palette from my best friend. When I first time open this palette, I fell in love with it. The 15 colors make up the sunrise. I felt I saw the sunrise in front of me. Warm sunny yellows, crimson corals, earthy browns and powerful pinks and fuchsias make the beautiful picture. I like to use this palette to create cute and sweet looks, which I think this palette is prefect for dating, hang out with friends. Imagine the picture of picnic in spring: few friends, sunshine, greens and flowers with the sunrise warm eyeshadow, how a wonderful day. Also, some strong pink and purple colors could create reddish smoke eye. Natasha Denona has the perfect texture of pigments as well.
PAT McGRATH LABS-MTHRSHP Sublime Bronze Ambition Eyeshadow Palette
Urban Decay Naked Heat palette
So... I donāt wear eyeshadow often. To be completely honest, this is the one palette I own š But because of that, itās a good one!
I feel like every single one of my friends had a Naked palette back in high school. It was THE eyeshadow to have, and thereās a reasonāthe shadows are pigmented and east to blend, and they go together well. Honestly itās hard to make mistakes with this palette, at least in my experienceāand remember that eyeshadow is not my thing.
I love that there are shimmer, metallic, and matte shades, and they go from light enough to do a very subtle look all the way to dark enough for a more glam look. Iāve even used some of the dark ones for eyeliner before, and I love getting multiple used out of one product. The overall effect of the palette always reminds me of a sunset!
This palette is $54, and with how many shades you getāand how quality they areāI think itās a steal. Honestly, this could probably last me until the end of the world since I barely use it, but I think you could use it every day and it would still last years. If youāre looking for a palette with a mix of finishes and shades, this is a great deal.

Spotlight Color of Stila Liquid Eyeshadow
If you are addicted to beauty, you will never miss out the Stila Liquid Eye Shadows. It has been popular for a while. Thatās why I got a group of them lol. This eye shadow glitter will definitely improve your eye look. Itās absolutely one of the most essential element of creating a fantastic look for night life. I got differently colors that could fit in various eye look.
But, before I tried them all at the same time, I never noticed that the texture of the same series products would works so differently. See the 2nd picture, some of shades works so well, the color and the sparkles mixed evenly, like āKitten Karmaā, which is my favorite. I like Monarch very well too. Itās easy to apply and the color is so good. Iām not very into āDimond Duskā and Plum on. Dimond Dusk sounds very cool and sparkle, but the glitter looks so dull, and the formula is kind dry that could not be applied evenly. Plum on looks like a lipstick? The color is too dark. And I donāt see any glitters or sparkles into this one.
How to use it:
Rather than apply it directly on my eye lids, I will blend it over my fingers then tab it evenly on my my eye lid. Need to notice, directly use the brushes will leave too much glitters on the eye lids, which is hard to clean up. Or, I will scrape some glitters leave on the top of the tube, then tap into eye lid.

Pat McGrath vs Huda Beauty, worth it?
Pat McGrath vs Huda Beauty EYE SHADOW palettes, worth it?
Pat McGrath and Huda Beauty are two makeup brands that became popular in these few years. Eye shadow palette is a top category for both brands, but they have huge price differences.
Pat McGrath $125 Bronze Seduction Palette
Pat McGrath, a British make-up artist. She is one of the most influential make-up artists in the world by many commentators. And she launched the luxury cosmetic brand, which the brand shares her name, called Pat McGrath. The first time I saw the brand was in Sephora, I remember it was a gold plastic bag with gold glitters in it with make-up products. After that, I heard about the brand lot of time from my friends. I got the classic eye shadow palette called Bronze Seduction Palette. I have to say that the package is amazing. The black plastic palette is really heavy, with shine effect. There are 10 colors, 6 of igniting metallic, pearlized pigments and amplifying colors and 4 of them are matte texture. Every color is fully pigmented and opaque color saturation. Creamy and soft textures make the product blendable. I love every single pigment in this palette! After I received it, this is one of my favorite eye shadows.
Huda Beauty $65 Desert Dusk Eyeshadow Palette
When the first time I heard about the brand, the desert dusk palette was so famous, everyone was talking about it. And I bought in from Sephora. You can totally see that the palette has lot of choices and possibilities to make different looks. One palette can satisfy your daily and party needs. 18 shades with 1 dazzling glitter, 8 creamy mattes, 6 shimmering pearl shades and 3 duo-chrome toppers. Combinations of layering different textures make unique dramatic looks. When I use this palette, I like to use the colors for my blush, too. It makes my make-up look consistent. But I donāt use the glitter one, I think the glitter is too much for me for now.
I feel the texture of Huda Beauty is not as good as Pat McGrath. The prices of Pat is twice times of Huda Beauty, but Pat McGrath is totally WORTH that price. Those shimmering pigments are SOOOOO beautiful!!!! I LOVE IT SO MUCH!
HUDA BEAUTY-Desert Dusk Eyeshadow Palette
Iāve always wanted to play with brushes from Zoeva. Iāve have their Strobe Gel in Halo & Corona which I already love. So I was super excited to get to play with some brushes & an eyeshadow palette as Iāve always been super curious
.
The eyeshadow palette Caramel Melange is a warm group with caramels and golden toffee tones. The texture is nice. Finely milled, pigmented and it applies pretty evenly. Even the mattes were pretty smooth which is not always the case (theyāre not chalky and dry). The tones are a little too golden and warm for me. Iām a true neutral palette girl. I canāt do very warm shades. I have my eye on the taupe and nude palettes for the future
.
The brushes are by far the star of the line. I got several from the Rose Golden line. They are a natural-synthetic blend listed as being best with powders. I do use synthetic and natural hair (as long as itās not squirrel) for creams and liquids as well even though itās not always advised. These ones are so soft. For a synthetic blend theyāre exquisite. The Buffer brush makes the best foundation brush. No streaks at all. I need more of these stat. Especially the two larger shader brushes. I love how affordable these brushes are. Really impressed by them
