Sensitive - Combo Face Routine
I’ve posted about many of these products individually, but I thought I’d share how I combine them in my relatively simple routine. For reference, my skin is very finnicky (eczema-prone, acne-prone, and very reactive). 🌤SKINCEUTICALS - Hydrating B5 Gel Hydrating Gel With Hyaluronic Acid

Clinique Charcoal Mask & Scrub/Moisture lipjelly
I’m in love with this combo. CLINIQUE - Moisture Surge Lip Hydro-Plump Treatment CLINIQUE - City Block Purifying Charcoal Clay Mask + Scrub First off I love the texture and the scent of the mask . It’s not that gritty . Easy to wash off with a wash cloth . Apply and leave on for five minutes then exfoliate . The clay mask detoxifies and exfoliates . Who doesn’t love two benefits in one ?! I will buy a larger bottle once I finish this one ! It’s a game changer . Then applyCLINIQUE - Moisture Surge Lip Hydro-Plump Treatment to your lips after you e cleansed and applied all your facial treatments . The lip jelly reminds me of Vaseline - Lip Therapy, Advanced Healing Skin Protectant but thicker . Use overnight for extra hydration and a lip mask . My lips feel super soft while it’s on and when it’s off . Let me know if you’ve tried any of these products and your feedback on them .
my night time skin routine 😴✨!!!
these are the products that are in my night routine: 1. first I cleanse with CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin -this cleanser works really well with my sensitive/combination skin - it leaves my skin very soft and smooth -unlike other foaming cleansers it doesn’t dry out my skin at all!!! - it is very gentle and has a calming affect on my skin 2. then I use The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% - this product saved skin - it makes my skin really smooth - made my skin a lot less oily - helped get rid of the tiny bumps on forehead 3. next I moisturize with THE inkey LIST - Bakuchiol Retinol Alternative Moisturizer - is a great light weight moisturizer - leaves my skin nourished, supple, and plump - contains squalane and sacha oil which protect and nourish the skin -the 1% bakuchiol serves as a natural retinol alternative helping to prevent fine lines and wrinkles 4. for my lips I use Vaseline - Lip Therapy Rosy Lip Balm or Vaseline - Lip Therapy, Advanced Healing Skin Protectant - the rosy balm is very moisturizer and leaves my lips shiny with a pink tint - the texture is really soft and velvety - the advanced healing skin protectant nourishes my lips - it leaves them hydrated and really helps when my lips are very dry 5. lastly I use KATE BLANC - Castor Oil - I have been using it on eyelashes & eyebrows since march - my eyelashes are a lot fuller and longer then before - I use a spoolie to apply it to my eyebrows - my eyebrows are the thickest they have ever been!! * this is just to remind you that what works for my skin might not work for yours, I did my research and tested many products to find the best ones for me and that really helped, it takes time and eventually you will find what works for your skin!❤️
I Finally Get Rid of Acnes...
SKINCEUTICALS - Hydrating B5 Gel Hydrating Gel With Hyaluronic Acid With high concentrations of Vitamin B5 (restores and binds moisture to the skin for balanced hydration), it's famous for being able to repair damaged skin tissue. It's very runny and I usually use a full dropper for the whole face. It creates a mild tingling sensation which dissipates in a minute. It's safe for sensitive and oily skin, doesn't cause breakouts, is refreshing, airy-light, and doesn't ball up when applying makeup afterwards. SKINCEUTICALS - Phyto Corrective Gel Hydrating Botanical Gel It's really suitable for sensitive, oily, and acne-prone skin. It's anti-inflammatory, whitening, moisturizing, and lightens acne scars at the same time. It's refreshing, oil-free, and helps to calm and soothe irritated skin. SKINCEUTICALS - Hyaluronic Acid Intensifier Serum It's advertised to improve the visible appearance of firmness, smoothness, and facial plumpness, and it contains alcohol, but I still finished using it. It's refreshing, anti-allergic and doesn't cause breakouts, but it doesn't show an obvious result in tightening and lifting either. I still think that using skin care appliances is more effective in tightening the skin, while serum and facial cream are only for assisting.
Skinceuticals hydrating serum
This is a product I can not live with out. My skin literally drinks up skinceuticals hydrating B 5 gel. It is a super light weight hydrating serum that is good for any skin type and tone that needs some hydrating and plumping. I love that the ingredient list is small and there are not a lot of fillers, plus is is paraben and fragrance free! I will use this serum morning and night after my vitamin c in the am and at night after my exfoliating serum. The bottle will last for around 3 months and it is around $80. I have already rebought this 3 times and will keep buying it. I also recommend it to many people and everyone that uses it loves it so I think it is a great product for all types. It is also easily spreadable so you only need a little bit and there is no tacky or sticky feeling after application which is great! Top 2020 Skincare: Multitasker
I saw this happening on Insta and thought it would be fun to participate on Cherie! All month I’ll be posting my top 2020 skincare essentials in accordance to the schedule on the 2nd pic, so follow me if you want to see all my faves of this year! Up next- Multitasking Products! 🖤MAELOVE - Night Renewer Maelove really created a whole night routine in a jar! This 10% glycolic acid cream resurfaces skin overnight, while fully moisturizing it at the same time. In fact, I’ve seen better and faster results with this cream than with high % aha/bha peels. Formulated with aloe, squalane, and shea butter, my sensitive skin stays calm while being exfoliated. I do mix this with 3 drops of jojoba oil as it’s fairly lightweight for a night cream and my skin is dry. I also just like mixing oil into my moisturizers. That being said, I think this cream could work for all skin types. I use 2-3 nights a week after double cleansing.
Winter Routine for DRY Skin
My cheeks have been SO dry lately. It’s been a struggle to keep my sensitive combo skin hydrated with the change in weather. I’ve thus made a couple swaps from my summer routine to keep my skin moisturized and not flakey. 🌬I swapped my trusty jojoba oil in the morning for a light application of Dr. Jart+ - Ceramidin Cream (I use about half the amount I use at night- just enough to get an even layer) 🌬I went back the old CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser from their new CeraVe - Hydrating Cream-To-Foam Cleanser . Although I like the new version better, I just need every scrap of hydration I can get right now. 🌬Lastly, I recently started applying a thin layer of Aquaphor - Aquaphor Healing Ointment over my cheeks at night (post on this coming soon!) In short, my routine is now: 🌤 rinse, hydrating toner, moisturizer, spf 🌙 double cleanse, moisturizer*, ointment as needed *I swap my Ceramidin for MAELOVE - Night Renewer 2x / week
Top 2020 Skincare: Facial Oil
I saw this happening on Insta and thought it would be fun to participate on Cherie! All month I’ll be posting my top 2020 skincare essentials in accordance to the schedule on the 2nd pic, so follow me if you want to see all my faves of this year! Up next- Facial oil :) 🍯DESERT ESSENCE - Organic Jojoba Oil I have a whole post dedicated to oils and why they’re so great, but long story short, they remove makeup, balance combo skin, keep pores clear, boost your moisturizer (or even replace it with some hydration layered underneath), can be mixed with makeup, and be used in your hair. The options are limitless. I recommend doing some research on carrier oils to find what’s best suited to your skin, but jojoba will work on anyone. I also suggest sticking to pure oils, or simple blends, without a lot of filler ingredients or fragrances to maximize the multi-use aspect. I prefer transferring mine to a dropper bottle to minimize leakage, so that’s why it’s not in it’s original packaging.
Routine Suggestions? 🤪
As you can see, I have normal acne, though sometimes it can be cystic / nodule acne that has no whitehead, its just inflamed and hurts a lot. I also [obviously] have pretty enlarged pores and skin texture problems with some dark spots and uneven tone. My skin type is combination / dehydrated / acne-prone My current routine (in order) is this: AM: - CeraVe - Hydrating Face Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skin I enjoy how this makes my skin feel because my skin can be really dehydrated, though I don’t know if this is the best cleanser for my skin? Its just something I’ve used with some luck. - J.R. WATKINS - Heritage Store Rosewater & Glycerin Spray I enjoy how this toner feels since its light and semi-hydrating, it doesn’t bother my skin and its calming - The Ordinary - Marine Hyaluronics - The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 both because I have dehydrated skin, so hydration is key 🔑 for me - The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% for the pores ⚔️ - SKINFOOD - Royal Honey Propolis Enrich Essence I looove this essence for the hydration - COSRX - Advanced Snail 92 All in One Cream I do love this moisturizer because its the only one I’ve found that actually hydrates my skin - DESERT ESSENCE - Organic Jojoba Oil I use just about two drops of jojoba to seal in the moisture by patting my face - Eucerin - Daily Protection Moisturizing Face Lotion Sunscreen SPF 30 lastly, SPF, I don’t really like this one because it leaves a horrible whitecast (even on my fair skin!) but it does keep my face moisturized too PM: - GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Cleanser & Makeup Remover I am thinking to switch to the rosewater version, but maybe a probiotic / hydrating toner would be better? 🤔 - CeraVe - Hydrating Face Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skin - J.R. WATKINS - Heritage Store Rosewater & Glycerin Spray - The Ordinary - Marine Hyaluronics - The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 - The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% - SKINFOOD - Royal Honey Propolis Enrich Essence - COSRX - Advanced Snail 92 All in One Cream - DESERT ESSENCE - Organic Jojoba Oil I also use The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution every TUE and SAT for exfoliation I’m mostly posting this to expand my skincare trials and see what you guys think for combating acne / dehydration / large pores / uneven tone / texture! I love seeing everyone’s comment on other posts about things to try. So since my routine is still fairly new (3 weeks) I want to see what you guys suggest from your experience! 🙂

Current night routine 🌙
I wanted to share my current night routine for my skin, starting with when I shower, because it's really been working for me: 1. In the shower, I use a half pump of YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser to tighten pores, get rid of any gunk on my face, and to brighten. 2. After I'm done showering, my blood pressure tends to go up because of circulation improving, so I get in my pajamas and apply Glossier. - Super Pure Niacinamide + Zinc Serum to calm any redness. Then I brush my teeth. 3. Next, I spray a little bit of Avène - Thermal Spring Water Spray all over and roll my face using my SEPHORA COLLECTION - Rose Quartz Facial Roller 4. I roll my face using the wide end, starting with my left cheekbone and go to the jawline while going in lines/diagonals on my cheeks. Then I do my forehead by going horizontally - the top first and moving down, focusing on my brow bones (bc of sinuses, same with cheekbones and undereyes), next is the right cheek same as the left, then chin, sides of nose & undereyes w/ small end, and I finish by going in lines like a fern - but the branches/stems, not the little leaves. starting in one spot, going out, and coming back but going to different spots each time until I get that area covered - I make 5 lines on both cheeks and forehead using this method. It's difficult to describe tbh - center between my eyes / middle of brow, for cheeks its by my ear opening) 5. After my face is all cooled off, I put on a dime-sized amount of either Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Cream or Glossier. - Priming Moisturizer Rich Luxurious Face Cream and lather it all over onto my face and neck. 6. Don't forget your lips! I use either my birthday, coconut, or my recent fave - the fig Glossier. - Balm Dotcom 7. The last step is to spray some more of my Avène - Thermal Spring Water Spray but I also have two other sprays - YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Adaptogen Soothe + Hydrate Activated Mist with Reishi + Ashwagandhaand TATCHA - Luminous Dewy Skin Mist Thx for reading ! 😊
December challenge PT 2
I decided to split the list up, so here's days 17-20: Day 17 - body product: I'm honestly tied between the flamingo - flamingo Daily Moisturizing Lotion and Aveeno - Eczema Therapy Moisturizing Cream , since they've both helped my dry skin so much! Day 18 - device/tool: I've been obsessed with my SEPHORA COLLECTION - Rose Quartz Facial Roller because it cools down my skin well and now I have to use it every night. Day 19 - most used brand: my most used brand is probably Glossier, because I use their eye products and skincare products all the time (boy brow, brow flick, lash slick; solution, priming moisturizer rich, super pure, balm dotcom) - though I use lots of products from other brands too. I just don't use many products from a single brand, but I have a lot of Glossier products that I use regularly Day 20 - top product of 2020: I know I posted another thing with my top product of 2020, but it's really a tie. The other product is NARS - Radiant Creamy Concealer bc it's stepped up my makeup game and it's made a huge difference in covering my undereye circles.

Desert Island Products!
These are my desert island products!!! If I was stranded on a desert island and could only bring 4 things, these are what I would bring: DRUNK ELEPHANT - E-Rase Milki Micellar Water If I were stranded I would want this so I could still cleanse my face despite being without clean water 😂 Hanskin - Hyaluron Skin Essence I would bring this because it is so hydrating and if I were stuck in the sun all day I would definitely want to keep my skin hydrated! PEACH & LILY - Glass Skin Refining Serum I literally just cannot live without this product plus it has hyaluronic acid and peptides which will hydrate and help prevent aging KINSHIP - Self Reflect Probiotic Moisturzing Sunscreen Zinc Oxide SPF 32 Lastly, you cannot be stranded on a desert island without sunscreen!!! And this is such an amazing sunscreen, it is hydrating, no white cast, but is a physical sunscreen!
Okay yall, I got this at TJ Maxx for $16! Don’t worry, I checked the expiration date and all that good stuff. So, here is my honest review: BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Mineral SPF 45 I know biossance released a new SPF in place of this one that gets much better reviews. This, however, was not a bad find for $16. Slight white cast but not too bad and it was really hydrating! It’s definitely something I will keep with me in my gym bag for when I’m out and about but it won’t be my go to since I also just got the KINSHIP - Self Reflect Probiotic Moisturzing Sunscreen Zinc Oxide SPF 32 and it’s my favorite spf ever.

Empties!!! Best of 2020
ACURE - Seriously Soothing Cleansing Cream A perfect gentle cleanse for dry, sensitive skin and does not feel like the skin is stripped at all. ll.ACURE - Ultra Hydrating Green Juice Cleanser Ideal for dry, dehydrated skin types. Very creamy consistency with a light lather effect. skyn ICELAND - Glacial Face Wash A creamy, clay type consistency that is ideal for normal to oily skin and offers a deep, refreshing clean. Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Cream Incredible cream. If you have reactive, dry, sensitive skin or are allergic to fragrance, give this a try. It feels like a light emollient texture and makes the perfect night cream if you are more oily. FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Hydra-Firm Sleeping Cream Another amazing emollient night cream rich with Peptides and ceramides to keep your skin barrier protected. Also fragrance free. PAULA'S CHOICE - Omega + Complex Serum Instant relief for a dry, compromised barrier. It pairs beautifully under a moisturizer if you want extra nourishment. This serum also has ceramides and fatty acids but feels light enough to wear during the day. Once again, fragrance free. I loved all the products mentioned and will not hesitate to repurchase them. Let me know if you love them as much as I did!
altered PM routine for sensitive & dry skin
The temperatures dropped below 70 this weekend and my sensitive, dry skin started freaking out! So I revamped my routine to cater to my skin’s reaction to the cooler weather. My skin has been responding really well to the changes so far. More smoothness and less flakiness for sure! ACURE - Seriously Soothing Cleansing Cream COSRX - Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin The Ordinary - 100% Plant-Derived Hemi-Squalane we’re already part of my routine and then I subbed in DHC - Deep Cleansing Oil which is a great first cleanser but also kind of smells like olive oil... I’m also using BANILA CO - Dear Hydration Toner which is new my routine. I was previously using THAYERS - Rose Petal Facial Toner which I tried due to all the hype but I’m also concerned that it’s an astringent that adding to my dry skin problem. I’m no the only one whose skin becomes drier in colder weather right?! Have you used any of these products before? What do you think about them?

My Husband Got This For Me 😍
My husband saw this in the CVS near our house. He knows how I feel about Cerave and knew that it wasn’t something that I had tried so he decided that he would purchase it for me! I am so grateful he thought of me while he was there. I have been concerned about moisture retention especially with the seasons changing yet again. I haven’t tried this because I already own their moisturizer and did not see a need to get it until I was done with the other one. I am glad he did because my skin definitely needed a change! I have used the CeraVe - Skin Renewing Night Creamfor the first time tonight. It was applied after my serums and I was pleasantly surprised by this tiny jar of cream. Honey!!!! It is THICK like the backside of a Video Vixen in one of those Hip Hip music videos! It is the thickest cream I’ve applied in a long time. It is supposed to “improve the appearance of fatigued skin” and I know why now! It is supposed to renew as well as protect the skin barrier overnight and with how thick it is, nothing is getting lost through this especially not moisture. It also has my two favorite ingredients- niacinamide and hyaluronic acid -which clears pigmentation issues, manages acne, deals with wrinkles forming as well as keeping the skin well hydrated and smooth. I can not wait to write a full review on this! Already from my first initial application I can tell I’m going to like this product very much. Stay tuned for a full review later!
The gift of good skin!
For Christmas, I made my sister a new skincare routine! She has combo acne prone skin with some sensitivity and redness, she also complained of some dark circles around her eyes. She currently uses terrible products and is pretty lazy when it comes to skincare so she doesn’t even wash her face everyday! I tried to design something simple, affordable, and easy to keep up with (e.g. mostly drug store products) but also an effective starting point for her skin needs! How did I do? AM: Cleanser: OLE HENRIKSEN - Truth Juice Daily Cleanser Eyes: THE inkey LIST - Brighten-i Eye Cream Moisturizer: Aveeno - Calm + Restore Oat Gel Moisturizer PM: Makeup remover/lazy day cleanser: LA ROCHE-POSAY - Micellar Cleansing Water Ultra and Makeup Remover Cleanser: LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanseror CeraVe - Renewing SA Cleanser For Normal Skindepending on what her skin is doing Eyes: THE inkey LIST - Brighten-i Eye Cream Moisturizer: CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion For dry days or dry patches: CeraVe - Skin Renewing Night Cream Spot Treatments: ORIGINS - Super Spot Remover Acne Treatment Gelor PEACE OUT - Acne Healing Dots Masks: OLE HENRIKSEN - PHAT Glow Facial Maskand YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask
Current night routine!!
This has been my night routine for a few days now since I want my skin to be brighter, have less acne, and be hydrated. Here's the steps: Glossier. - Milky Jelly Cleanser - I'm currently on a trip, so I have the travel size, so I used two pumps. I normally use one pump with the 6 oz bottle. Glossier. - Super Glow Vitamin C + Magnesium Serum - ok it's tough to say how much I use, since it's like a small drop on my cheeks and forehead that I smooth in. I'd say I use like about 1/4 of a full dropper as an estimate?? Maybe it's less but I don't use so much that my face is wet. Glossier. - Bubblewrap Eye + Lip Plumping Cream - I do literally a half-pump because I don't need that much, plus it's super hydrating. If I do have extra then I put it below my eyebrows on the eye socket bone - but not on my eyelid. I find this area gets dry too. Glossier. - Priming Moisturizer Balance - I use one pump and distribute it to my nose, nose bridge, chin, top of my cheeks (like the top half) and my forehead near my eyebrows; basically my t-zone, since this area gets super oily and if I put priming moisturizer rich on it, then it's hydrated but then super oily because it's too much hydration. I like the formula because it soaks in and prevents oilness after hydration (if you find what amount works for you). Glossier. - Priming Moisturizer Rich Luxurious Face Cream - I put this on the dry and normal areas of my face - on my bottom cheek area/jawline, most of my forehead, and any areas I missed. I use enough to cover my fingertip with some on top, like the size of a penny. Also if I get any redness before this step then the lavender usually calms it down which is nice. Clearasil - Daily Clear Vanishing Acne Treatment Cream - the amount I use daily depends on what acne I have, but usually it's a super tiny anount and it really goes a long way. Avène - Thermal Spring Water Spray - I spray until I feel satisfied tbh and when my skin is cool again and redness subsides - about 5-10 seconds of spraying. Hope this helps for anyone with combo skin!! Btw I'm combo because I have normal, dry and oily areas of my skin and it's fun to see what my skin needs everyday.
Glossier.-Bubblewrap Eye + Lip Plumping Cream
Glossier. - Milky Jelly Cleanser I like the texture and the way it smells. Gentle on my face just not sure if it actually cleans my face. Glossier. - Super Bounce Hyaluronic Acid + Vitamin B5 Serum haven’t seen much of a difference and I’m about half way done with my first bottle. It does leave my face smooth but does not last all day long. CLINIQUE - Redness Solutions with Probiotic Technology Daily Relief Cream I have been using this for a few years. I have been diagnosed with rosacea on my cheeks. I haven’t noticed a decrease in rosacea. I just use this moisturizer because I’m afraid to try anything else and experience a flair up. CLINIQUE - Broad Spectrum SPF 50 Sunscreen Face Cream thick/white consistency. Makes my t- zone kind of shiny. My face: I would say combination. Oily T-zone. Blackheads on my nose. Cheeks and chin on the drier side. Thinking the dryness is from the rosacea. Any ideas and comments would be greatly appreciated!

AM Routine - Dry skin, pores and acne scars
1. PAULA'S CHOICE - RESIST Perfectly Balanced Foaming Cleanser obsessed with this cleanser 2. BIOLOGIQUE RECHERCHE - Lotion P50 I have read a lot about the magic of this product, I think it works well but haven’t seen the amazing results people describe. Smell is strong but you get used to it 3. PAULA'S CHOICE - 10% Niacinamide Booster just started this AM/PM but like it so far, some acne scars have lessened 4. CAUDALIE - Vinoperfect Radiance Serum The Brightening Solution don’t see any changes with incorporating the product, but the smell is fresh and the consistency is light 5. PAULA'S CHOICE - 10% Azelaic Acid Booster this is really helping clear my skin 6. Avène - Skin Recovery Cream I’ve tried thousands of moisturizers and this is my favorite. It goes on super light, soaks in quickly and has no smell. Highly recommend 7. LA ROCHE-POSAY - Anthelios 60 Face Sunscreen for Combination Skin SPF 60 usually sunscreens break me out but this one has been relatively innocuous. It also sets in rather quickly. Can sometimes leave a white-ish residue so need to blend in well

Healing acne and leftover scarring
In high school, I never had problematic skin. It wasn’t until I became an adult that acne presented itself and it was everywhere. My forehead, chin, cheeks, neck, etc. I felt really ugly and would put makeup on to hide everything. I never left the house unless I had a full face. As silly as it sounds, it does put a toll on your mental health and self worth. After years of trying these products that promised me the world, I decided that I was going to go back to the basics and I started using 3 products. Yes, just 3 products. I used Cerave hydrating facial cleanser, zapzyt acne treatment gel and cerave daily moisturizing lotion. I really started to notice a huge difference with my acne cleaning up. From there, I slowly added active ingredients like the ordinary’s niacinamide and zinc as well as Sunday Riley’s Luna to help with my scarring as well as supergoop’s sunscreen. My skin is not perfect, but it has come a long way.
Every rosacea skin should definitely see this
I have rosacea skin for several years and I’ve tried numerous skincare products and cosmeceuticals. But my skin situation is not stable, it can get red, sensitive and with some spots occasionally. Last year I went to visit a famous doctor who is the top expert on the treatment for rosacea, and she recommended me to change all of my daily-routine products to very simple but efficient ones. after using these products for about half a year, my skin become stable and very smooth. I’d like share these products with you guys, (I spent a lot of money to get this recommendation lol, so plzzzzz read it and remember it!!!) I think it is suitable for all rosacea skin. And all of the products are pretty cheap and easy to buy. Morning🌝： 1. LAROCHE-POSAY EFFACLAR H cleansing cream 2.NeoStrata redness neutralizing serum 3. SKINCEUTICALS sheer mineral uv defense SPF 50 (if you don’t like mineral texture you can change it, becuz to be honest it’s cannot fit the foundations and become too white on face, now I change it to HELIOCARE 360 gel oil-free, check the third pic, ;D) Night🌛: 1. LAROCHE-POSAY EFFACLAR H cleansing cream 2. SESDERMA AZELAC moisturizing cream 3. Finacea (Azelaic acid) this kind of acid is really good for rosacea but you need to make sure you skin can tolerate it in advance. 4. SKINCEUTICALS redness neutralizer (if you think it’s a little bit heavy, you can still use NeoStrata redness neutralizing serum) It’s the all the products I use as daily routine, very simple, but really useful to cure the rosacea.

Post-Gym AM Skincare Routine: Soothe + Balance
Sweat plus heat and chafing makes a cocktail of maskne and irritation for my sensitive skin, so I focus on calming ingredients and layering lightweight hydration. My combo skin loves layered products since it’s less likely to clog my pores than one heavy product yet really hydrates my drier areas. This routine is added fragrance- and essential oil-free, as I avoid those two categories of ingredients. • CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser is a gentle cleanser that allows me to scrub off sweat and previously applied sunscreen without stripping my skin or overcleansing. Its humectants start binding water into my skin, making it wonderful when my skin feels hot/chafed. • The Ordinary - Marine Hyaluronics uses marine-derived humectants and amino acids to help pull water into skin, without the tacky finish of their HA serum. Love this for how lightweight it is, it layers beautifully with other serums with no pilling and mixes well with anything I want to dilute! • PAULA'S CHOICE - 10% Niacinamide Booster minimizes pores, reduces the prevalence of acne, increases collagen synthesis, and controls oil production. This is my HG, my “if you could only use one” serum, so fantastic. It is so, so calming too, making it fantastic for angry skin. • PAULA'S CHOICE - Omega + Complex Serum is a light serum-lotion that contains multiple ceramides, a variety of emollients (oils, shea butter, etc), and fatty acids to augment the skin barrier. Supporting the skin barrier reduces the likelihood of skin issues like irritation, dryness, and even acne since acne can be linked to inflammation! • VERSED - DEW POINT Moisturizing Gel-Cream contains squalane oil, aloe vera, green tea extract, and jojoba oil- the aloe vera specifically comes through heavily in this refreshing, bouncy gel that skin soaks up easily. Oily skin would especially benefit from the lightweight water-dominant formula. Tip: put it in the fridge if you’re using it at home, it’s cooling and so good during the summer. • PURITO - Comfy Water Sun Block is an oily skin gift! It’s a medium-weight cream that’s mostly water, utilizing zinc oxide as its sun-protectant active to make this a surprisingly lightweight mineral sunscreen. I’ve not noticed a white cast and it has a semi-matte finish that minimizes shine but doesn’t make skin flat. #CheriePartner
