SKINCEUTICALS - PHYSICAL FUSION UV DEFENSE SPF 50 I love skinceuticals. I have their Vitamin C serum and have had a wonderful experience with it so far. But this... oh my lord. Before you ask, no, it is not expired. I have normal/sensitive skin, and used just a few products (cleanser, toner (YTTP) and light moisturizer before this. I have never had pilling problems with the moisturizer, so I don’t think think it’s a problem with the layers under it. Honestly, I don’t know what the problem is. The texture is disgusting and super liquid-y. Hard to blend it before it leaks off your face 🥴 when I tried to blend it, it started pilling like C R A Z Y. After I managed to dust off my face, I got told by my friend that I “forgot to blend in my foundation” around my forehead. FML. Because this is supposed to act like a light tint and “enhance your skin tone” (which shade????) it managed to make my “no makeup just spf” skin a nightmare. Thanks, guys. I hate it

SUMMER FRIDAYS - R + R Mask Got this mask in a set w/ the jet lag bb and a silk scrunchie. 10/10 recommend the set but if you get the mask on its own... don’t. The application is lovely. The mask smells like roses and feels so smooth, especially if chilled. The aesthetic is what made me give it the 3 stars - the rest is 0/10. Washing it off is a NIGHTMARE. The oil would NOT come off, and the tiny rose bits were hella messy and stuck to the sink. I scrubbed my face so hard to get the slippery oily feel off of it (not very relaxing, Summer Fridays). Do not recommend. Maybe if you have super dry skin or enjoy rose so much you’re willing to overlook everything else 🌹 using the rest for my neck/right before showers so I don’t have to have a panic attack trying to scrub it off crouched over the sink.

{gifted} LANEIGE - Cica Sleeping Mask Don’t get me wrong... this mask is not bad, it’s just not what I would think one of the most highly rated Sephora masks would be. I have normal/sensitive skin 😌 I chose this baby as a gift from Octoly for reviewing, and the main reason was for the calming and hydrating benefits. I applied this mask overnight, and woke up to hydrated skin. I also got a few sensitized spots (lil irritation bois) but I don’t blame those on the mask - they’re not a rare occurrence. But while the mask may not have caused them, it did not prevent them. Overall, I see no larger benefit to using this mask than slathering on moisturizer. But that’s just me - and there’s so many people on Sephora.com who RAVE about this baby - so find out for yourself! 🥰

{gifted}{emptied}{repurchased} THE inkey LIST - Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum Skin type: Combination, sensitive Product purpose: Hydration! Texture is a watery gel, product is scentless This product was gifted to me by the wonderful Inkey List team. I will sing their praises over and over - they make simple, effective skincare with no BS and I LOVE it. Not all of their products work for me, but this one is AMAZING. I have tried a lot of hyaluronic acid serums, ranging from drugstore brands to high-end ones. My favorite one prior to this one was PTR’s cloud serum, but alas, it started breaking me out (either the cream or the serum, but I ditched both). So imagine how surprised I was to find a product cheaper than ANYTHING I ever tried (it’s $6.50) that works perfectly well and does not break me out. I use this product right after my lighter serums, right before moisturizer. I use just a pea-sized amount for my face, spray it with a hydrating mist (HA absorbs water) and seal it in with an oil/moisturizer. Using this makes my skin feel extra hydrated and dewy, and if I’m feeling sensitive, I’ll use this with very little or no moisturizer. I highly recommend it. Best case - you’ve found your HG hydrator. Worst case - you lost $6.50, which is relatively little when it comes to experimenting with skincare products.

Gel Creme vs. Double Creme
Gel Creme vs. Double Creme
OLEHENRIKSEN - C-Rush Brightening Double Crème {gifted} BTW I have sensitive combination skin! A few months ago, Ole Henriksen sent me their double crème to try. I have been a fan, and a daily user of the gel version of this moisturizer. That one is perfect if you have combination to oily skin, or just prefer lighter moisturizers. While the two moisturizers are super similar in scent, that’s about where their similarities end. The texture is drastically different (as you can see on the second photo), and so is their feel. Though I fell in love with the double creme version of the moisturizer when I had started using it, after a few weeks I started seeing some breakouts - whiteheads. I read some Sephora reviews, and saw that the creamier version was breaking a lot of others out, too. I’m not 100% sure that it is the moisturizer that caused my breakouts, but they did stop when I switched back to the gel version. Having said all that everyone’s skin is completely different and what failed to work for me may work for you. The scent, feel, and short term effects of this moisturizer were great, and judging by the rave reviews on Sephora this product does not break everybody out. So give it a try, especially if you already love the gel version

{gifted} I reviewed this baby a few posts back... this is just a vid for the âêśthętįç. See the tiny beads? It’s creamy yet exfoliating, and does not foam. I have been using it as a second shampoo after my usual Verb ghost shampoo! Briogeo - Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro-exfoliating Shampoo

Okay this mist is my EVERYTHIN
Okay this mist is my EVERYTHING. I can't live without it. I won't live without it. I refuse. The YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Adaptogen Soothe + Hydrate Activated Mist with Reishi + Ashwagandha is like a serum in a mist that targets redness, uneven skin tone, and soothes sensitive skin. The consistency is like no mist I've ever tried before. It's SO lightweight and feels incredibly refreshing. It's like giving your skin a fresh glass of water but like, better 😅 I have very sensitive and reactive skin and I love this mist because it really helps calm it down, especially when it flares up from an allergic reaction to another product. I also love that it's completely fragrance free because my skin really doesn't play well with leave-on fragrance products! I would totally recommend this product [5 stars] and I'd give it more stars if I could! The mist is sooooo fine, like, REALLY fine. You *need* to try this. It works so well under makeup, over makeup and without makeup! It's priced at $42 for 4 fl oz and I think it's worth every single penny!
