benefit - Cheek Stars Reunion Tour Palette
I've posted a handful of cheek-related beauty products in the last little while, and I'm coming in hot with another one! I spotted this Benefit Cheek Stars Reunion Tour palette and remembered how much I LOVED some of the Benefit blushes and bronzers when I first got into beauty, but haven't used them in a while. At $80CAD, this palette is an incredible value for so many of their products, considering each of these individual products would run you around $40CAD. I've been loving using this lately and honestly regret that I stopped buying Benefit a few years ago! What I love about it: ✨ Benefit makes incredible makeup - this palette includes the iconic Hoola Bronzer! This stuff used to be huuuuge in the YouTube beauty guru world, and I can't figure out why I ever stopped using it. It's perfectly matte, a nice cool-toned brown for us lighter skin folks, and blends beautifully. ✨ I had only used Hoola and Sugarbomb before purchasing this, so with the price in mind, I thought this would be a great opportunity to try out some new product. If you swipe to the last photo I posted here, you can see how gorgeous and shimmery their Cookie highlighter is. Can you say glow?! ✨ Benefit is a family-run company, with sisters at the helm. They work to empower women and teach them that makeup is there to enhance their natural beauty, not cover it up. ✨ Benefit is against animal testing, and keep their cosmetics free of toxic metals. Unfortunately, Benefit hasn't fully joined the clean beauty movement, so be careful when using their products as they may contain fragrance or similar irritants. I haven't experienced any breakouts or irritation due to their cosmetics, but be safe and spot test before you head out the door! Using Benefit really reminds me of my time discovering makeup as a young teen. The packaging is so nostalgic to me, and I feel good when I use this stuff. I'm stoked to have found this palette and definitely recommend it to you guys! Especially that holy-grail Hoola bronzer. Seriously, it's the bomb. 💣 Do you use any of Benefit's product line? What's your favourite cool-toned bronzer?! Let me know below. 🌞

bealizbeautyI LOVE THIS PALETTE!! The cookie highlighter was reason enough for me to buy this. Sometimes when I’m lazy but want to look kind of decent I use this whole palette to do my eyes, cheeks, bronzer and highlight.

Perfect for smokey eyes -Clarins mini eye palette
Perfect for smokey eyes -Clarins mini eye palette
If there is one thing that I really find fascinating when it comes to makeup, this would probably be smokey eyes. I know that technically smokey eyes are a thing of the past now, but, if we’re honest, the latest eye makeup trends are just variations of the eye design I absolutely adore! As a result, I’m always looking for eye palettes that could help me achieve different kinds of smokey eyes! And this is how I came across this mini eye palette from Clarins! Believe it or not, it was in an airport and what got my attention in the first place was the design on the box. It looked so girly and nice, I had to give it a second look! Once I had a look at the shades, it was definitely love at first sight. One thing I usually avoid is getting chunky, big makeup palettes because they are difficult to carry around when I travel. And it’s not like I’m using all the shades anyway! The Clarins mini eye palette had exactly the shades I was looking for, so it was a perfect match. I remember I paid around $20 on the makeup palette, but I think it was great value for money. The shades are easy to apply with a sponge or and eye brush, they last really well on the eyelids and most importantly, they don’t cake. My face is rather oily and sweaty in summer, and I hate it when eye shades gather in the folds of the eyelids. But this never happens when I’m wearing the shades from the mini Clarins palette. I also tend to use the lighter shades more often than the darker ones, as I apply them for everyday, work makeup. The shades are buildable, so I use as little or as much as I want. Just a touch on the eyelid and in the corner of the eyes, and it lightens up my complexion!

I’ve been wanting the Lime Crime - Venus Eyeshadow Palette ever since it came out. I had the original Venus palette and I wasn’t that impressed with the formula so I held off for a very long time. I eventually took the plunge and I’ve been obsessed with it ever since. This 8 pan cool toned eyeshadow palette contains 4 mattes, 2 shimmers, and 2 foil shades. Like I said I wasn’t going into this palette with the highest hopes but I was absolutely shocked. The mattes are all super pigmented, buttery, and blend really well. The foil shades POP on the lid so easily with your finger. I think the only downfall (which actually isn’t a downfall to me) is the shimmers don’t preform like your typical shimmers. They are a lot more sheer than your typical shimmers but actually my favorite shade in the palette is a shimmer. Marble is the white sheer shimmer shade that has a beautiful subtle sparkle all throughout. This is my favorite shade to highlight my brow bone and inner corner with. It lights up the face in such a beautiful way. I use this whether it’s a full face or a minimal make up day and just gives an ethereal look. I don’t know how I went without having this shade in my life for so long. It last really well on the eyes (though I usually prime with the Fenty eyeshadow primer) and all around I’m very, very happy with the palette. Plus it glows in the dark! This is my goth fantasy all wrapped up into one palette. I highly recommend this for anyone who is looking for a cool toned palette or who has been looking at it but wasn’t sure of how it would preform.

Well all have that Go-To Look, weather it’s the infamous gold copper eye & nude lip or a personalize signature look, everybody has that look that whenever they are going out or need a makeup look for any occasion they have one that is their tried & true For me personally my signature look is a brown smokey, it literally goes with everything and you can level up the smoke to match the occasion ( whether day or night ). Over the years my brown smokey’s have evolved and I eventually went to MAC & made my own palette of my favorite colors to achieve my perfect smokey! This palette i made is BrownGirl Friendly ( so listen up my melanin cuties! ) & it only consist of 4 shadows (2 shimmers & 2 mattes) 2 Mattes MAC - MAC Eyeshadow in Brown Script MAC - MAC Eyeshadow in Swiss Chocolate 2 Shimmers MAC - MAC Eyeshadow in Amber Lights MAC - MAC Eyeshadow in Antiqued These 4 shadows can literally create endless looks and can get pretty smokey if you build them up right or with a great pencil brush to smoke that lash line out chile! *i made this mini palette a couple years ago when MAC had a create your own palette promo, but you can still buy these shadows individually on the website*

Amazing shimmers and great color payoff! The BH Cosmetics Hangin in Hawaii is my favorite go to palette! Great transition shades and the colors are beautiful! I love to use the shimmers by themselves a lot because they are fine just on their own! I recommend this to everyone and thought I would share it with yall :)

Eyeshadow? Contour? Or Eyeliner?
Eyeshadow? Contour? Or Eyeliner?
MAC - MAC Matte Eyeshadow#Omega $15 MAC Omega is a slightly warm-toned, light taupe with a matte finish. And this eyeshadow is a highly pigmented powder formula that applies evenly and blends well, which is suitable for use either wet or dry, also it's available in a wide variety of textures and finishes.   The most basic function of this product is eye makeup. Just apply eyeshadow on the eyelids. The eyeshadow has opaque pigmentation in a single layer, spreads evenly on the bare skin and blends easily. It wore nicely for eight hours before fading a bit. Besides, it wasn't prone to sheering out to nothing when applied over bare skin. You can apply it any time.   But this basic function is worth talking about, because in addition to being a primer, this eye shadow also has a very, very useful effect. This product can reduce the swelling of your eyelids. If you drink a lot of water the night before or eat some heavy salted food, you will have edema the next morning, and this product will make your eyelids swollen disappear immediately, it looks like there is no problem.   The second function of this eyeshadow is the contour, which is another usage recommended by the MAC brand. Because this color is a darker, dirty beige with neutral, olive-leaning undertones and a matte finish. So it is very suitable for nose and chin trimming. Dip an appropriate amount with a brush and apply it to the desired place.   The last role is also the most amazing one. We can use this eye shadow to draw eyeliner, you only need a very thin brush. Dip the eyeshadow with the sharp part of the brush. After testing the color on your arm, extend it along your eyes towards the temple. Is it very simple? This is a very magical feature, it can draw a very natural eyeliner.
