SLIM A ROUND FACE WITH THIS SIMPLE TRICK
SLIM A ROUND FACE WITH THIS SIMPLE TRICK
An oval face is deemed as the most attractive face shape. Most fall under this category, but if you don’t, do not worry because there are plenty of ways to create the illusion of having one. I achieved a slimmer looking face without having to get a hair cut. In the photo on the left, my hair is pulled back showcasing the round contours of my face. When I want to look more “attractive”, I wear my hair down which creates this slimmer illusion of an oval face in the right photo. The long length of my hair draws the eyes down also taking away from my rounded face. With that being said, haircuts above the jawline can accentuate round features so opt for anything shorter than a long bob. I would love to know what ways you style your hair to take away from a rounded face? ⬇️⬇️

HOW TO SHRINK YOUR PORES (Temporarily)
HOW TO SHRINK YOUR PORES (Temporarily)
I came across fifty shades of snail’s article on: How to Shrink Pores (temporarily), Plus 3 Pore Myths. Since it went viral, I read that it worked for many people as well so I decided to give it a try and it helped improve my skin. Curious to see whether this method works for others! My skin conditions: - combination skin type - dry areas between eyebrows - oily nose and cheeks with enlarged pores - few blackheads, sebaceous filaments on nose - hormonal acne breakouts 3 PORE MYTHS HIGHLIGHTS FROM HER BLOG: 1. Your nose is covered in blackheads. Some can be sebaceous filaments which is a mix of sebum, bacteria, dead skin cells and a hair follicle in a large pore. 2. Pores can be shrunk. There is no physical way to shrink pore sizes. Avoid all self-extraction methods and nose pore strips to prevent irreversible damage to the pore. 3. Pores open and close. The idea that a warm washcloth or steam treatment will “open” your pores to allow products to penetrate more deeply is a myth. And the idea that a splash of cold water or an astringent toner will “close” your pores is also a myth. The size of your pores is the size of your pores. WHAT YOU NEED TO CLEAR AND SHRINK PORES: - A 2% BHA product. I use PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA (Salicylic Acid) Liquid Exfoliator This exfoliator is pretty good at its job. Would be excellent if it didn’t smell like gas. Costs $30 but well worth it to go through bad smells as long as it works. 🤩 - A clay mask! I use innisfree - Super Volcanic Clusters Pore Clearing Clay Mask I reviewed this product before and this product is called “pore clearing”. This alone has helped me with controlling my overproduction of sebum! - An emulsifying oil cleanser or pure carrier oil. I use Tatcha for this. TATCHA - Pure One Step Camellia Oil Cleanser I reviewed this oil cleanser before. But it’s amazing because it uses camellia oil which is non-comedogenic making it perfect for my skin type. HOW TO SHRINK PORES TEMPORARILY Best time to do this is in the morning before regular skincare routine. 1. Apply BHA with cotton pad either on your entire face or target areas. Wait 20-25 mins. 2. Do not wash off the BHA. Apply face mask and follow its instructions. 3. Rinse with warm water and dry face. 4. Apply a generous amount of your cleansing oil or carrier oil and leave on for 15 mins. 5. Massage face for 2-3 mins with light-medium pressure from fingers and you should feel grits that have pushed out from your pores. (note: don’t overdo it or you may cause broken capillaries) 6. Rinse with warm water and continue with regular skincare routine. RESULTS AWESOME! I GOT GRITS. At least once or twice a month, I recommend doing this. If you didn’t feel grits during this process, yours may just not be as clogged - not to worry, it’s still clearing your pores and reducing their appearance so keep at it!! Let me know how it went for you! 🧖‍♀️

How to enhance your face shape using your hair?
How to enhance your face shape using your hair?
When it comes to styling our hair, we all know that a new 'do can completely alter the appearance of our face shape - and it turns out, you can actually contour your face with your locks. For Round/Square Face Shape To elongate a round or square face, add contour at your roots using the hidden volume technique to give lift. For Rectangle and Oval Face Shape Keep the top of the hair flatter and add width using the freestyle feathering technique. Additionally, a small veil will give an optical illusion of hair lightening to soften the look. For Heart Face Shape Crimpy your hair around the recession line using the freestyle feathering technique to balance out the face shape and to soften the jaw line. I have an oval face. Long face shapes need texture and fringes to add width. Shorten the face with a mid-length or long style with layers at eye and cheekbone level to create texture. With some sweet, soft curls, I can get the extra volume that gives the face a more oval appearance. Choose the right hairstyle for your face! It's easier than you think! 3 YEARS APART 👉🏻 learning & educating myself
3 YEARS APART 👉🏻 learning & educating myself
i never grew up experiencing acne and/or major skin problems. it was a blessing and a curse. i always believed my skin was resistant towards any impurities & breaking out. i went 17 years with clear skin, surely since i’m past the “adolescent acne” phase, i MUST be out of the woods?!?!!!?? W R O N G. 👉🏻 3 YEARS BEFORE i only used cetaphil cleanser (yuck) & a cerave moisturizer (classic holy grail) never chemically exfoliated & didn’t understand wtf a serum was was never mindful of ingredients & didn’t see the problem with popping pimples 🤷🏻‍♀️ 👉🏻 3 YEARS LATER i have a fixed skin routine cycle with separate AM routines & PM routines dedicated to hydrating or exfoliating (i will post my skincare routine soooon 😭) i break out primarily on my cheeks & my forehead. periodically it’ll occur on my temples but only one or two i definitely believe it’s due to my persistent habit of touching my face & poor diet choices since quarantine had begun 🍳 (i’ve consumed so much dairy) 👉🏻 WHERE DID I GO WRONG? there’s numerous factors to consider. stress, hormonal changes, environment, & other things can affect my skins progression towards this stage. while i can’t pinpoint it, my diet has changed significantly since then (i was on a plant based diet 3 years ago) so many products have been introduced to my skin in the past year. i’m working towards finding ingredients that are negatively affecting my skin but until then, i’ve tried to work towards simplifying my routine any time i get a new product. 👉🏻 WHAT WILL I DO IN THE FUTURE? sometimes less is more. i’m still experimenting with what works best for me & have consulted a dermatologist. in the meantime, i’m sticking to my schedule cycle! i’ve already tried tretinoin but believe i should consider a diet change. excluding the dairy is best & striving towards a nutrient rich diet is ideal (but frick, taco bell is so good) leave any comments, suggestions, or words of wisdom! sorry 4 da long post 😭

Acne girl can own flawless base skin🥰
Acne girl can own flawless base skin🥰
ABOUT ME:COMBINATION DRY SKIN.CORSE PORE.ACNE AND PIMPLES. I am acne skin. Acne scars from adolescence and new red pimples are born from time to time. This type of skin will look dirty if the base is not clean enough. No matter how well your makeup skills in eyes or contouring are, it doesn't make any sense to the overall look. Generally, I start applying make-up after 15 minutes of applying a moisturizing mask. Order: Foundation Primer, Concealer, Foundation, makeup powder. Next step is for eyebrows. Order is eyebrow dye and eye pencil. The third step is eyes. Order here is eye primer, eye shadows and eye liner. Then is for bronzer and highlight. The last step is for lips. The product I use is lip liner and lipstick. Overall steps are similar to many of us. If I only write these, this post will lose its meaning. Here are some of the most important tips for creating a perfect look! From my personal experience! 1. Make sure to wet the egg before applying the sponge egg, and use the egg by gently pressing your skin instead of brushing your face like a brush. 2. Finishing powder is used by patting. If using a makeup fix spray, press the nozzle 30cm away from the face. If you get too close, your makeup is easy to be diluted! 3. Brow dye is more important than eyebrow powder! It is the key to a natural look. 4. If you're taking pictures, be sure to use eye primer, otherwise the camera will completely remove your eye shadows. 5. Brighten the eye head and bottom eyelid’s tail with a highlighter to make your eyes look twice as big. 6. Whether it's lipstick or lip gloss, apply a little liquid highlight to the lip bead to make your mouth look fuller and sexier. Previous list is my personal useful makeup experience! If they are useful to you, please cheer this post! get bigger looking eyes with these tricks!👁✨
get bigger looking eyes with these tricks!👁✨
hello everyone! i thought i would share the best ways to open your eyes and make them look bigger- for all eye shapes! follow these steps to draw attention to your eyes✨👁 1. avoid harsh, black eyeliner on the lid (unless you have dark skin)! if you have pale-medium skin, dont use black eyeliner! try to use a taupy brown for an everyday eye look. it closes the eye and castes a shadow, and if you have hooded eyes, it makes your lid area look even smaller which then makes your eyes appear smaller as well. a soft brown can makes your eyelashes appear thicker, and also makes makeup look more natural if thats what you are going for. i do use black eyeliner myself for style, but it does make my eyes look smaller. also, using different color eyeliners can help complement your eye colour❤️ 2. use white, NOT BLACK, in the water line! white eyeliner in the water line gives the illusion that the actual eyeballs are bigger. it can make you look much more awake and your eyes look very round! in this photo i am wearing MAYBELLINE - TattooStudio Eyeliner Pencil make sure its water proof! 3. dont use super thick, black false lashes! i dont wear fake lashes, but i do know that wearing really big and dark false lashes make your eyes look smaller and also hides any eyeshadow youre wearing! they look tacky in my opinion for every day wear, but they also dont do anything to open your eyes. opt for long, more natural looking false lashes that have space in between them and arent so heavy. 4. curl your lashes! i have naturally long lashes that are naturally very curled, but for those of you that dont, check out my my hack on my page for curling lashes using heat to make them stay all day✨🦋 5. use eyelid tape! this is of course optional, but it does really help a lot of people, especially people with mono lids. it makes your lids appear bigger, which makes your eyes look bigger, and creates more room for beautiful eyeshadow👁 6. try halo eyes! halo eyes can make your eyes appear rounder if thats the look your going for. basically, you put lighter shadows on the middle of your eyelid, and darker shades around it. 7. keep the face and lip makeup simple!👄 this wont nessecarily make your eyes look bigger, but it will draw more attention to them👀 8. keep the makeup in your crease darker, and the makeup below your crease lighter. this is just a very basic makeup style that creates bigger eyes! lemme know if these work for you💖✨
