Dry skin moisturizers
Eye gels for dark circles
AliceInWonderlandPersonally, I’m also a fan retinoids either from Neutrogena or the Ordinary but it ultimately comes down to the complexity of your routine/how you want it to be

New Skincare Journey- Tips welcomes
Hi everyone, I am so excited to start this new journey. The pictures I uploaded is a depiction of my current skin. Following doing the The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution, patting dry and then applying the CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skinand Bio-Oil - Multiuse Skincare Oil. I suffer for hormonal acne (not that bad) and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. I have had these issues since middle school, with periods of clear skin. I have done some research and this is what I am going to start are my skincare routine starting tomorrow. Am Routine I am going to start my routine off with the essano - Rosehip Gentle Facial Cleansing Micellar Water. Then I will use the Aveeno - MaxGlow Infusion Drops, followed by the Clean&Clear - Advantage Acne Spot Treatment. Then the CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skinand my favorite Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Sunscreen SPF 50 . This the only daily sunscreen that I have used and I love how soft and bright ir leaves my skin. I was having trouble finding a face oil, but the Bio-Oil - Multiuse Skincare Oilreceived a lot of good reviews from people with similar experiences so I thought it would be a good product to try. Pm Routine I am going to start my routine off with the essano - Rosehip Gentle Facial Cleansing Micellar Water again. Then I will use the The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5, followed by the Clean&Clear - Advantage Acne Spot Treatment. Then the CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skinand Bio-Oil - Multiuse Skincare Oil. On Sundays (my first day) At night, I will continue to wash my face with warm water, beforing patting dry and applying The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution. This is my third time using this product, I only use it once a week. The last two times I apply a niamincide-based moisturizer afterward and I think it caused my skin to break out. I do see my blemishes lightening with this product, so I will continue to use it for 10 minutes once a week. After I rinse and pat dry, I will apply the CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin. After my first use, I do feel my skin to feel more elastic and moisturized, but the smell is a bit unappealing. Following with the Bio-Oil - Multiuse Skincare Oil, I currently have no comments on this product. I am open to any assistance or concerns. I look forward to journaling this journey ❤️

Just a golden hour skin update 😍
COVID & quarantine have taught me a lot- most importantly being how essential it is to be consistent in order to see skincare results. Before the stay at home orders I had no consistent routine and just grabbed whatever & incorporated all kinds of stuff I didn’t need or my skin didn’t like. I’ve learned to keep it simple & stick to & switch between only a few things!! Morning routine: Rinse with water Toner or Spray: eitherTOWER 28 - SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray or INDIE LEE - CoQ-10 Toner Vitamin C: OLE HENRIKSEN - Banana Bright Vitamin C Serum currently, thinking of trying SUNDAY RILEY - C.E.O. Rapid Flash Brightening Serumnext- does anyone have thoughts on this?? Hydrate!!!: Depending on what my skin is feeling like it needs GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Pink Juice Oil-Free Moisturizer Krave - Barrier Relief FARMACY - Daily Greens Oil-Free Gel Moisturizer with Moringa and Papaya FARMACY - Honey Halo Ultra-hydrating Ceramide Moisturizer or a mix if I’m dry/have time. Sunscreen every single day: Supergoop! - Glowscreen Sunscreen SPF 40 Krave - The Beet Shield Night routine: Double cleanse: KOSE COSMEPORT - SOFTYMO Speedy Cleansing Oil followed by Krave - Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser if I’m wearing makeup I’ll oil cleanse with FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm Spray!:TOWER 28 - SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray or INDIE LEE - CoQ-10 Toner Exfoliate: PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator Spray again! Treat: Curology - Curology formula Niacinamide: #PAULA'S CHOICE - Niacinamide 20% Treatment[products]#[FiveStars] Hydrate: Depending what my skin needs, switch betweenGLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Pink Juice Oil-Free Moisturizer Krave - Barrier Relief FARMACY - Daily Greens Oil-Free Gel Moisturizer with Moringa and Papaya FARMACY - Honey Halo Ultra-hydrating Ceramide Moisturizer NATURA CULINA - Chamomile Face Oil Full Size Sleeping mask: GLOW RECIPE - Avocado Melt Retinol Sleeping Face Mask belif - Aqua Bomb Sleeping Mask or LANEIGE - Cica Sleeping Mask or nothing when I’m lazy 🤷🏼♀️ Thanks for coming to my super long for no reason post 🤣 I have also learned that these are essentially the only products I use & I have so much other stuff that’s just taking up space!! #CherieCreator
Easy Skincare for Days You Don’t Feel Like It
For those of us who struggle with mental illness, you know how hard it can be to do your skincare on days when you feel like you can’t be bothered to. On those more difficult days, I cut myself back to the basics of skincare so I’m still taking care of myself and my skin, but not over exerting my mental or physical capacity. Skipping a few days is fine, but I know my mental health is much better when I take care of my skin, so I use opposite action to get myself just to do the basics of my routine. I cleanse at night (and in the morning if i feel up to it), mostly on days like these I can’t be bothered to do things in the morning besides brushing my teeth, so washing at night is the best bet. That way you don’t go to sleep with all of the grime of the day still sitting on your skin. I skip oil cleansing and just go in with a gentle jelly or milk cleanser for a minute. If I really can’t be bothered to cleanse, I’ll use a micellar water or something similar and then wipe my skin down after that again with a toner soaked cotton round. Then regardless of how I cleanse, I rise with cool/cold water to help with inflammation, as usually I’m too tired to ice my face. This still gives me some of the positive benefits without spending too much time standing and rubbing ice on my face. Next I tone with a hydrating toner that has no actives but plenty of healing ingredients as I’m not using a serum, and lock it in with an occlusive oil or a sleeping mask like YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask all over my face and in place of eye cream. This keeps the hydration next to your skin to be absorbed during the night and treats it even without additional serums🌟 I then add pimple patches on the areas I might want to pick, a healing skin balm on irritated areas and I’m done with my skincare! Bonus points for a lip balm like BITE - Agave+ Nightime Duo which is all natural and leaves my lips feeling like silk all night! This is truly a low effort once-a-day routine for those times where you just can’t bring yourself to do anything.

two finger sunscreen rule ✌🏾☀️
It’s still gloomy outside, but I’m still putting on sunscreen! Yesterday I mentioned that you should be wearing sunscreen everyday no matter the weather. What I forgot to say was how much sunscreen you should be using. It is recommended that 1/4 teaspoon of sunscreen be used to cover your face and neck during each application. @makeupforwoc (on ig & twitter) says that 1/4 teaspoon is equivalent to two fingers worth of sunscreen. So make sure that you’re applying sunscreen every day, every two hours, and using the two finger rule!

my skin is very very dry and acne prone AM: i start with the Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser this was recommended by my derm next i go in with the The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 on damp skin i wait about 30 seconds and follow up with The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% this has helped my acne so much, since i have dry skin i follow up with a heavy moisturizer like the CeraVe - Healing Ointment this is the only thing heavy enough for my dry skin, i then finish with the Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Water Gel Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30 i love this sunscreen PM: i start with POND'S - Cold Cream Cleanser as a first cleanse and makeup remover, for my second cleanse i go in with Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser this was recommended by my derm, next i exfoliate 3 times a week with The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution and i use the The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 on damp skin to hydrate and follow with The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% next i use the Neutrogena - Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel Moisturizer to hydrate and follow with CeraVe - Healing Ointment to lock everything in how do you like my routine, anything i should change? any advice?

Neutrogena water gel moisturizer: does it work?
I saw this moisturizer everywhere decided to give it a try. I got the water gel because it’s recommended for oily skin but every skin type can use it. Here’s my opinion and experience so far: Neutrogena - Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel Moisturizer It has a scent, may be natural but there’s a smell to it so not too happy about that Gel consistency which is ideal for my skin type, but it’s pretty thick, it took a bit for my skin to absorb it, longer than my Cetaphil - Oil Control Moisturizer SPF 30 Unscented I used it after my retinols and felt a burning sensation which I hadn’t felt before while using them, nothing crazy and it didn’t really irritate my skin but not sure if there are some ingredients in both that don’t work well with each other. I use The Ordinary - Granactive Retinoid 2% in Squalanefor my eye area and The Ordinary - Retinol 0.2% in Squalanefor the rest of my face claims to be non-comedogenic but has a few comedogenic ingredients such as dimethicone Overall it’s a nice product but honestly I feel like I could get a much better k-beauty product with more benefits for the same price. I will finish it probably but won’t repurchase.
HYDRO BOOST GEL/WATER CREAM
So the only reason why I bought this recently is because I needed a water based serum to use with my Lux skin led light device. I was surprised how pricey it was, I wasn’t expecting it. The packaging is super cute. I really like the texture as well. It absorbs VERY quickly, I have to apply it multiple times because it sinks into my skin so quickly. It’s actually made me skin feel amazing. If you have any type of EMS device or your looking for a water based gel moisturizer, definitely give this a shot :) they are having a sale right now on their website. ❤️ Neutrogena - Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel Moisturizer WHAT IS IT? A water gel-cream formula absorbs quickly, like a gel, but has the long-lasting moisturizing power of a cream to quench your extra-dry skin’s thirst. It contains Hyaluronic Acid, a hydrator found naturally in the skin, that attracts moisture and locks it in. This rich gel relieves intense dryness to help restore skin's natural barrier against moisture loss. Plus it’s fragrance, dye and oil-free, and can be worn alone or under makeup. BENEFITS * Non-comedogenic (won’t clog pores) * Fragrance-free * Dye-free * Wearable under makeup * Olive Extract * Strengthening, moisturizing and nutrient-rich * Helps skin's moisture barrier against moisture loss INGREDIENTS Water, Dimethicone, Glycerin, Cetearyl Olivate, Polyacrylamide, Sorbitan Olivate, Phenoxyethanol, Dimethicone/vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Synthetic Beeswax, C13-14 isoparafin, Dimethiconol, Carbomer, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Chlorphenesin, Laureth-7, Sodium Hyaluronate, Ethylhexylglycerin, C12-14 pareth-12, Sodium Hydroxid

Skincare advice from my derm
If there’s one thing I’ve learned in over ten years of dealing with acne, it’s that sometimes, over the counter products just aren’t enough. Frustratingly, the healthcare system in the US makes dermatologist visits and prescription meds very expensive. That’s why I want to share some of the advice I’ve gotten from my dermatologist. While I do use several prescription medicines to treat my acne, the tips and tricks I’ve gotten from my derm are useful for anyone dealing with the same issues as me (hormonal acne, as well as the texture and hyperpigmentation left behind). For reference, my skin is not sensitive—not sure if I was born that way or if I’ve built up a tolerance to harsh products over the years. I use a telemedicine service called Apostrophe, and before that, I used Curology. You fill out a questionnaire on your medical history and skin concerns, upload pictures of your skin, and a dermatologist reviews the information and creates a treatment plan for you. I have a whole post on why I switched from Curology to Apostrophe, but the short answer is that Apostrophe prescribes more oral medications and I wanted to try that route. I’ve had an excellent experience with both companies in terms of the detailed advice I’ve gotten from my providers. So let’s get into it! Here are some things my dermatologists have told me: Don’t pick at your skin... seriously. One of the best tips I got was to use hydrocolloid patches on acne with a head: not only does it help the bump go down way quicker, it keeps me from picking at it any further. I LOVE the COSRX - Cosrx Acne Pimple Master Patch and I never go without them. Look at your diet. My derm says she gives this advice to ALL her patients: limit sugar, processed carbohydrates, and dairy. She says food is not generally the main cause of acne, but it can certainly aggravate it. She also always recommends increasing consumption of fruits and vegetables. Use sun protection—it helps dark spots fade faster, and of course prevents wrinkles. My derm recommends wearing SPF 30 or higher, as well as a wide-brimmed hat when outdoors. Along with my prescription cream, which includes niacinamide and tretinoin, my derm recommends the following products: LA ROCHE-POSAY - Effaclar Duo Dual Acne Treatment, LA ROCHE-POSAY - Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel, LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Purifying Foaming Cleanser,CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin,Neutrogena - Ultra Gentle Daily Cleanser, LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer UV SPF 30, CeraVe - Skin Renewing Night Cream These tips and the prescription meds I received from Apostrophe, have made my face clearer than it’s been in YEARS. I’m thrilled with my progress (the before/after photos have about 90 days between them). I’m running out of space, but feel free to ask any questions in the comments! #CheriePartner

My Skincare Routine! My Holy Grails 🏆
Here are my morning and nighttime skincare routines! Feel free to give any suggestions or recommendations! Also keep in mind that if you are just starting out with skincare, focus on the main 3 products in your routine (cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen) before getting into the more fancy stuff. I’ll be making an article for skincare beginners soon! Morning Routine: Krave Beauty Match Hemp Cleanser: Cleans my skin very well without leaving it feeling stripped or dry. Has very clean and beneficial ingredients. Also very affordable! WLDKAT Coconut and Noni Fruit Electrolyte Spray: This is the first spray I’ve found that 1.) Does not have fragrance or essential oils 2.) Does not have witch hazel or alcohol 3.) Is actually beneficial and hydrating for my skin! The Ordinary Niacinamide Serum: If you are into skin care even just a little bit, you definetely have this serum. Niacinamide is truly the miracle ingredient and has done wonders at reducing my sebum production. Versed Vacation Eyes Gel: To be completely honest, I haven’t seen the biggest difference using this product or any eye cream. I personally struggle with puffiness when I wake up every morning and I’ve never found a product to help it, because I’m convinced that it happens because I don’t drink enough water. So I definitely recommend drinking water! Naturium Marine Hyaluronics Water Cream: I love this product to death! Water creams are my absolute favorite textures when it comes moisturizers because I have very oily skin. This product is very hydrating but is super light weight and absorbs within 10 seconds. This one is also on the more affordable side. Purito Comfy Water Sun Block SPF 50+ PA++++: This is a new discovery in my skincare routine, but I’m already in love! I have an article on it already so go check that one out for more information, but to sum it up, this sunscreen is is very lightweight with no white cast. The ingredients are absolutely amazing and it’s only $16! Nighttime: Slaii Makeup- Melter Butter Cleanser: I’m not super amazed with this product, but it does do a good job at removing makeup, dirt, and excess oils. It is a little bit to thick and dense for my skin, but this might be a good one if you have dry skin. The only reason I’m using it right now is because I ran out of my last cleansing balm, so leave you’re recommendations below! Krave Beauty Match Hemp Cleanser Naturium BHA 2% Liquid Exfoliant: Where do I even start with this product! This is one of my absolute holy grail products. I have lots of blackheads on the sides of my nose and this made them almost completely disappear. If you have acne, blackheads, or any textural issues, I would define you recommend you use a BHA product, but do your own research first! The Ordinary Niacinamide Serum Versed Vacation Eye Gel Naturium Marine Hyaluronics Water Cream WLDKAT Coconut and Noni Fruit Electrolyte Spray Thank you so much for reading this! Please leave a comment or cheer this post!
I am really enjoying these products by versed a lot!! Here are my thoughts: . . 💛 Vacation Eyes Brightening Eye Gel - 5/5 (will repurchase) • Going into these cooler months you will need all the hydration you can get it. Not only does it offer that, it also gives the illusion of no eye bags because of the texture. It's like an optical illusion. Keeps my eye area smooth. . . 💚 Zero-G Smoothing Eye Cream - 4.5/5 (deciding) • I use this eye cream at night to give my eye area the extra love it needs. It's a smooth texture that's a little slippery. I was expecting it to be a bit thicker because of that. A little goes a long way. I have to rub it together first before I apply it. . . 🖤 Few Point Moisturizer Gel Cream 5/5 (will repurchase) • This is my favorite out of three. This offers hydration especially for my oily skin. I apply extra on a few dry areas but and my skin is smooth throughout the day. I know most people use heavier products in colder seasons but my skin really enjoys the gel textures. This works great alone, under sunscreen and make-up. Definitely a keeper. . . Have you tried these products yet?!?! .
No BS has BS 😟
I'm so sad to see this product not only has frangrence, but has the ingredientlabeled as "frangrence". So not only am I unable to see how much they use (or what they even use), but I'm also unable to see the amount they use because they don't properly list their ingredients in order on their site. For all I know it could be one small frangrent ingredient at the very end or it could be the first 5 on the ingredients list. Fragrence also has no benefit to the skin other than "smell nice". It can cause irritation immediately or farther down the line, either way it is BS. For a line that states that it will be open about it's product and will only have what is good for the skin, I'm disappointed. I wanted so much to like this brand for what it said it stood for. no b.s. - Vitamin C + E Serum
I love my supergoop everyday sunscreen, Paula’s Choice BHA and Kiehl’s moisturizer. I’d love to find a new eye cream.
Moisture Based Routine for Dry Skin 💨
So I have combo with oily t-zone. My cheeks and mouth area tends to lean to the dryer side especially when I use my Differin Gel or Salicylic Acid treatment at night. So in order o replenish moisture to my skin I used moisture based products. (In Order of Routine) CeraVe - Hydrating Face Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skin this cleanser is gentle and leaves a very nice moistures clean effect. I use a full pump on my wet skin & work it in for 45 sec- 1 min. It’s has ceramides, hyaluronic acid, & CeraVe patented MVE Technology. All of these ingredients promote moisture. It’s also non-comedogenic, non-irritating & fragrance free Kiehl's - Cucumber Herbal Alcohol-Free Toner i love this toner. It’s marketed for sensitive skin & it’s alcohol free. The only thing that’s a negative for me is the Blue 1 fragrance (known irritating dye) , but it doesn’t irritate my skin as much as if it was in a moisturizer. (I ran out of my Kiehl's - Calendula Herbal Extract Alcohol Free Toner 😕) KORRES - H2Rose Hydrating Face Mist this is my favorite multi use spray! It has rose damascena flower water (antioxidant), hyaluronic acid, organs blossom flower water, & aloe Vera. It’s high in Vitamin C & you can even set your makeup with it. It has no silicones or dyes. The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 ** I only use this when I feel my skin is extra dry or I use a mask that left my skin feeling dry.** I use it while my facial mist is still damp for maximum absorption Seoul Ceuticals - 20% Vitamin C Hyaluronic Acid Serum favorite Vitamin C serum. (I have a previous post about this) The Ordinary - Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA great for my dark spots and follows 15-20 mins after my Vitamin C serum. (I have a previous post about this to) DUFT & DOFT - Salmon Vgene Hydro Active Eye Cream this is one of my gentle eye cream that is very non irritating (I have a previous post about this) FENTY SKIN - Hydra Vizor Invisible Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen I said how heavy this was in a previous post, but I find it to be perfect for when my skin is extra dry. Always use SPF during the day nooni - Applebutter Lip Mask I love this lip mask more than Laneige . I use this day and night and my lips stay moisturized all day !
Seoul Ceuticals-20% Vitamin C Hyaluronic Acid Serum
This is the first week of my consistent skin routine which I haven’t mastered quite yet so I would appreciate any suggestions!! I have oily/sensitive skin so it has been pretty difficult for me to find products that work for my skin since I started getting acne at 11. I mostly breakout on my cheeks! Morning 🌻🌞🌈 1. Post Accutane Night Time Skin Care Routine
While on accutane I had a very simple skincare routine to allow the medication to do its thing. I’m 7 months post Accutane, and my face is still pimple free. Yay! My skin care concerns at this time is discoloration/dark spots and minimal scarring on one of my cheeks. In this routine I am using the Fresh Soy cleanser to cleanse. It’s so important to make sure you’re thoroughly cleansing your face so that the remaining products can properly penetrate the skin. I use esthetician Nayamka Roberts-Smith (@LABeautyologist)’s 60 second rule when cleansing. Cleansing your face with your fingers for 60 sec allows the cleanser ingredients to do their job. This method helps to soften the skin & dissolve sebum blockages a lot better. I then follow up with applying a hydrating toner (Laniege Cream Skin toner and moisturizer) to my face with my hands. Then 2-3x a week I go in with the exfoliating serum ( The Ordinary’s Mandelic Acid 10% + HA serum) to minimize texture and uneven skin tone. Mandelic acid is gentle and works great on hyperpigmentation on people with deeper skin tones. To end it all off, I use the Kate Somerville recovery cream. Cleanser - fresh - Soy Makeup Removing Face Wash Toner - LANEIGE - Cream Skin Toner & Moisturizer Serum -The Ordinary - Mandelic Acid 10% + HA Moisturizer - Kate Somerville - DeliKate Recovery Cream Pro Tip: Wash your hands before washing your face!🧖🏾♀️ #CherieCreator
LANEIGE-Cream Skin Toner & Moisturizer
I'm really a HUGE fan of PIXI...
Pixi is a British niche brand which has a light, elegant floral aroma. The packaging looks very refreshing and summery! Let me introduce you to a few products I bought: pixi - Glow Tonic Cleansing Gel This is my first time using a gel facial cleanser. It cleanses just moderately, but it's very gentle and doesn't leave your skin feeling tightened. pixi - Glow Tonic I love it! It's a must-have for double cleansing! Normally I'll use it as a toner mask for one to two minutes then wipe it off. It feels very refreshing and it also exfoliates. I don't recommend girls with sensitive skin to use it every day. pixi - Glow Tonic It's a small bottle with a dropper, which makes it more hygienic. The texture is a little sticky, but it absorbs pretty quickly. Using it on top of another base serum is even more hydrating. pixi - Phenomenal Gel I don't usually use heavy facial creams in summer, so a lotion is just right. It doesn't ball up when I use this product with sunscreen and foundation. Pixi On-The-Glow Multi-Use Moisture Stick It looks a lot like lipstick. According to the official website, it contains vitamin D2 and imparts a glowing effect on your complexion while protecting your skin. However, I haven't figured out where I can incorporate it into my skincare routine.
Maybe I need to update skin routine?
To start, I have never been to a dermatologist so I don’t have a professional opinion on what type of skin I have. In high school, I thought I had sensitive skin because it would react to changing weather and environments. And I I didn’t have a problem with acne but would get a pimple here and there. Now, I’m in my early 20s and this summer has caused me to question my skin. It’s been doing new things (thanks 2020 🙃). Now I don’t really know what kind of skin I have. My cheeks have an uneven skin tone and are bumpy with a few dry patches. My forehead has gotten a couple of pimples. My nose has a bumpy texture but I’ve always had that. I have dark eye circles and a couple of wrinkles (more than likely from staying up late/not enough sleep). I continue to use Burts Bees products I used in high school but I started trying new products last year. My best guess is that my skin type is dry. Current AM routine Cleanser: BURT’S BEES - Face Cleanser for Sensitive Skin or cold water Moisturizer: BURT’S BEES - Daily Face Moisturizer for Sensitive Skin Sunscreen: TULA SKINCARE - Daily Sunscreen Gel Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Current PM routine Cleanser: BURT’S BEES - Face Cleanser for Sensitive Skin Moisturizer: BURT’S BEES - Daily Face Moisturizer for Sensitive Skin Whenever I feel like: GOLDFADEN MD - Bright Eyes Dark Circle Radiance Complex Body Merry - Day to Night Eye Gel Twice a week in place of regular cleanser: GLOW RECIPE - Blueberry Bounce Gentle Cleanser Every two weeks: JJ young - Pore Glow Mask I’m currently wanting to update my skincare routine to targeting dry skin instead of sensitive skin. I’m also wanting to address evening and smoothing skin tone and decreasing dark eye circles without causing breakouts. I’m also in search of an affordable daily sunscreen that isn’t greasy, doesn’t leave a white cast and has clean ingredients. The one I currently use contains avobenzone. I’m looking for a zinc oxide one. I’m also going to change my diet to incorporate more water and less dairy and sugar. Feel free to share any product or lifestyle recommendations that are budget-friendly (less than $50 for me). I would appreciate any advice. I’m also interested in clean beauty products. They don’t have to be absolutely clean but as natural as possible. Products that I’m currently considering for evening skin tone are: HONEST - Vitamin C Radiance Serum HONEST - Beauty Sleep Resurfacing Serum Glossier. - Super Glow Vitamin C + Magnesium Serum

Review My [AM] Routine!
I have super dry, reactive, eczema-prone skin! I amazingly somehow have large pores and dry skin (I know) and get barrier damage easily. My routine goes: 1. Wash my face with PETER THOMAS ROTH - Water Drench Cloud Cream Cleanser it is my FAVORITE cleanser ever and works SO well for my dry skin AM because it adds moisture to my skin before I even start with my products. Even after like the night before I tend to wake up with dry skin and this is such a huge help. I use a green tea or turmeric konjac sponge with it depending on my concern for the day (green tea when I’m feeling a little more broke out and turmeric when I’m extra dry) and pat my face with a bamboo washcloth. 2. Prep my skin for product with Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Toner this is more an essence than a toner, I probably won’t buy it again because I think there are better products with this function BUT it was not cheap so I’m using it all up before I buy anything else. 3. MY SAVIOR VICHY - Minéral 89 Face Serum with Hyaluronic Acid this stuff just really keeps my skin bouncy and hydrated all day long I started with a trial size and bought the full size because I was so obsessed. 4. I don’t like the texture of The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% so I mix it in with my Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Cream and it makes a perfect AM gel cream that keeps my pores in check while moisturizing! Niacinamide has really done wonders for my skin and I use it in both my AM and PM routine because I just love it. 5. I treat my eyes with Big Cloud Fix from Dollar Shave Club’s Eye Savior and omg it’s the best product no one uses! It’s full of niacinamide, caffeine, and just does wonders for my dark eye circles. After that sets I will use Kiehl's - Creamy Eye Treatment With Avocado because I get really dry under eyes and want to prevent wrinkles with a lot of moisture. 6. If I’m having trouble with my eczema or used actives the night before and have some sensitivity I will use LA ROCHE-POSAY - Cicaplast Baume B5 for Dry Skin Irritations to help repair my barrier further (the niacinamide helps tremendously with that issue as well). 7. Of course, no AM routine is complete without quality sunscreen! I am OBSESSED with PETER THOMAS ROTH - Max Mineral Naked Broad Spectrum SPF 45 Uva/Uvb Protective Lotion right now because it leave no white cast and is a mineral sunscreen! Due to my reactive skin, chemical sunscreens tend to cause sensitivity and flare my eczema so mineral sunscreens are a must for me. This one is gorgeous and has a skin perfecting tint to it that blends seamlessly with your skin tone (I’m very pale and it does not cause any issues for me). This may seem like a long routine, but it takes only five minutes max and has helped me so much to layer moisturizing and hydrating ingredients!
