Timeless Vit C - best affordable vitamin c!
Timeless is the best affordable vitamin c on the market! I’ve tried high end and low end and loved them both. Timeless gives me the results and freshness I’m looking for (I keep it in the fridge!). With the rate at which I go through vitamin c, I prefer an affordable option so I can spend elsewhere in my routine (retinols and actives, serums, etc.). On my fifth bottle or so of this, and plan to continue repurchasing!timeless SKIN CARE - 20% Vitamin C + E Ferulic Acid Serum 1 oz

Cleanser + Mask For A Totally Clean And Hydrated Face
DRUNK ELEPHANT - Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser This facial cleanser was gifted to me by a friend who loves Drunk Elephant products. She swears by them, and I completely trust her opinion when it comes to skincare. I would love to have more Drunk Elephant on my skincare arsenal but they just come with a hefty price tag. This cleanser is super gentle; one of the best cleansers I’ve used so far. I love facial washes that cleans my face but doesn’t leave it feeling tight and dehydrated. This clearly gets rid of all the underlying makeup residues that my makeup remover leaves, but even if it’s mad at dirt and grime, it doesn’t feel dry on my face. I thought that by its name, it will be jelly-like in consistency but this cleanser has a normal consistency. ORIGINS - Drink Up Intensive Overnight Hydrating Mask with Avocado & Swiss Glacier Water After a good cleanse with my Drunk Elephant jelly cleanser, I like taking the bar up a notch but putting on a hydrating mask on my face. I got this Origins in a set, and it was the first time I tried their products. This variant is specifically made to combat dryness and to bring back the skin’s moisture. I have a dry combination skin type so anything hydrating that unclogs my pores is heaven-sent for me. I love love love this mask! It leaves my skin glowing every time I use it. I leave it on overnight and I always wake up with super hydrated skin the morning after. I know it can be overwhelming as Origins have a lot of masks, but if you want to get one for yourself, this is the mask! I recommend it for those who have dry or dry combination skin. It really makes a difference when I use it.
Morning skincare routine in mini form!
Love drunk elephant minis for traveling or trying out new products! Out of all of these lippe, dbronzi, and ctango are my everyday staples
This is the Supergoop! - City Sunscreen Serum SPF 30 with vitamins E & B5. It is a moisturizer with SPF 30, with a consistency a bit thicker than your average serum. That being said, this product is not greasy at all! After applying this product it definitely leaves you a bit shiny, it does not have a matte finish obviously, but I don’t produce excess oils when wearing this like you do with some sunscreens. Living in Florida, I wear this product every single morning and I LOVE it! I think it does a very good job protecting my skin. I would 100% recommend this product to anyone looking for a nice daily moisturizer with some sun protection! I honestly believe it is worth it for the price point it sells at, especially when you can find it on sale! I would definitely give this serum a 5/5 rating.

✨Clean Beauty SPF: Coola Silk Drops✨
COOLA - Full Spectrum 360° Sun Silk Drops Organic Face Sunscreen SPF 30 I was looking for an SPF I could apply with my moisturizer that was non sticky, didn’t smell bad and didn’t leave a white overcast. I searched for several options over a few days and found this product by the clean beauty brand Coola. I had never heard of this brand before, but I decided to give it a try anyway because it had very good reviews. I got it for $46 at Sephora. The applicator it a dropper, and I only need about 4-5 drops for my whole face and neck (if you swipe through the pictures my chubby hand will give you an idea of the size of my chubby cheeks! So you probably need a little less). You can use it by itself, layered over your creams & under your makeup, or mix it with your moisturizer. I’ve tried both ways and it works beautifully. I included pictures of the ingredients, dropper, consistency, fluidity and what it looks like after you actually blend it into your skin. No white cast at all! There is a light scent to it, but it is not overpowering. ✨To sum things up: PROS: -only requires a few drops -no white cast -not sticky -absorbed quickly -organic & clean beauty CONS: -can’t think of anything right now
Perfect daily SPF
Coola’s sun silk drops are perfect for daily use, and even block our blue light (from phones and computer)! The packaging is adorable and it doesn’t leak or let out too much sunscreen with the pump. The texture of the sunscreen is light and airy, so it feels more like a moisturizer than anything else. It works well alone or under makeup! A little goes a long way with this product so it’s definitely worth the price. This is by far my favorite SPF and the easiest to use. The Ordinary For Hyperpigmentation??
So I JUST got these 2 days ago and so far so good! I’ll talk about The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solutionfirst because I was most interested in this one from the reviews I saw. Anything that targets hyperpigmentation always catches my attention because that is my biggest skin struggle. I’ve only used it once and freaked immediately after it hit my skin. It burned pretty bad then started to warm after about 15 seconds. I didn’t put much on for my first use, but honestly after the 10 minutes were up I didn’t have any bad reactions and my skin felt really good. I realized later that it’s literally acid in a bottle, so of course it’s going to burn. You just have to push through. I can’t wait to try it again in about a week, and to see the results after continued use. The other two products I got were the The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%, which I am not sure what Niacinamide does or is exactly lol, but it’s in a lot of great products and again is great for uneven skin-tones so I’ve read. I also got The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5which is great for hydrating and plumping your skin. Again I don’t know much about any of these products so any further information would be great, I’m just praying they work for me. ☺️
trilogy - Organic Rosehip Oil Antioxidant been using this for a couple of years and love it! So gentle on my skin! Aveeno - Daily Moisturising Body Lotion always a must for my face! Love it GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon + AHA Glow Sleeping Mask recently got this and just tried it once.. it was ok. Will have to try again to see more results SUNDAY RILEY - Luna Retinol Sleeping Night Oil in love with this! Sooo smooth and my skin looks so bright and feels smooth when I wake up. The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 not so sure about this... I used it once and had a breakout of little pimples on my forehead and it’s just not the same since... I tried using it again and was ok. Not keen on the texture... but maybe as I use it more it will become more of a fav! HOW TO: wake up looking like a glazed donut ✨
GOOD MOLECULES - Overnight Exfoliating Treatment Contains 10% (Glycolic Acid) AHA+ BHA. This is the second product I’m testing from Good Molecules and I’m loving it already. This is my first experience with a leave-on “sleep mask” version of glycolic acid (the smallest form of AHA). And seriously people, I WOKE UP GLOWING IN A GOOD WAY. I wanted to chuck all my glossier products out the window and triumphantly announce that I solved the glowy but not oily skin look that no makeup has ever done for me. I have a few layering tweaks I wanted to share for those looking to add this step into your routine! TLDR; pore-shrunken glazed 🍩 look for $6. scroll down for layering steps. 😅 Conceptually, incorporating a GA solution into my night routine 2-3x per week is the best way to use GA without drastically changing my current ritual. While glycolic acid toners work have worked great as well, I notice my skin is way more sensitized throughout the day and susceptible to sun damage. I just don’t want to run the risk of forgetting to reapply sunscreen ☀️ every few hours, you know? Especially if you have dry/combo skin, the following layering technique may be of use to you. Starting with dry or freshly cleansed skin I add: (1) Any hydrating toner. I used the niacinamide toner from Good Molecules but if you have sensitive skin I’d opt for one without vitamin C or other actives. GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Brightening Toner I'm from - Rice Toner dear, klairs - Supple Preparation Facial Toner (2) Any mild peptide serum or essence. But no crazy actives like retinol or the true form of vitamin C ascorbic acid (I used one with the SAP derivative which was ok). If you normally add oils to this step, I would skip until the end. An oil ester like jojoba oil may be okay. Bottom line is to use something your skin finds familiar but comforting. The Ordinary - ''Buffet'' The Ordinary - Marine Hyaluronics GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Serum (3) THE Glycolic Acid/AHA-containing treatment. Feels like thick serum. I used one droppers’ worth, going heavier on my t-zone. This one from Good Molecules contains Glycerin, HA, and Butylene Glycol, gold standard humectants that need more moisture to lock in its hydrating benefits!! Especially if you just used another hylauronic acid-containing serum in the previous step, the treatment as a final step can leave you feeling dry. GOOD MOLECULES - Overnight Exfoliating Treatment (4) Wait 3-5 min to add a gel moisturizer or hydrating spray-on mist. Feed those humectants! Really anything works here. I used MUJI’s all-in-one essence. I just wouldn’t go too creamy or heavy. VERSED - DEW POINT Moisturizing Gel-Cream dear, klairs - Fundamental Ampule Mist The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA Lmk if you try this! Cheers to looking like a glazed donut 🥂
Spa routine on a budget
I honestly love feeling like I’m at a spa just relaxing but imagine doing that for a way lower price!!!! 1. I first start off by washing my face so it can be clean and prepped for what I’m going to use. I use the DR. BRONNER'S - Baby Unscented Pure-Castile Liquid Soap this is so gentle on the skin and not stripping and provides the moisture that your skin can be lacking. If I’m breaking out heavily or have dark spots I use GOOD MOLECULES - Clarify & cleanse bar this clears up my skin in about two days and feels great on my skin 2. Next I then go in with SheaMoisture - African Black Soap Clarifying Mud Mask this mud mask is AMAZING. You can see it go into my pores and get the hunk that’s deep in them!! When I washed this mask off my skin was sooo smooth and my pores shrunk a little as well which is amazing for me because I struggle with my pores. 3. I then go in with DICKINSON'S - Dickinson's Enhanced Witch Hazel Alcohol Free Hydrating Toner this toner is not as stripping as the other ones because it is alcohol free, and I know some people don’t like witch hazel but the antioxidant properties have helped my fungal acne so much and my irritation. 4. I then choose a serum. The serums I have are not listed on the app yet but I got the Revolution skincare from ulta.com and I got the retinol from dollar tree ( creds to my boyfriend because I made him pick it up for me) I don’t use both BECAUSE YOU SHLULD NEVER MIX THE TWO INGREDIENTS. It depends on how my skin looks that helps determine which one to use. 5. While that is sitting on my face to soak in I move to my lips. I first use e.l.f. - Lip Exfoliator, Brown Sugar, 0.16 oz (4.4 g) it can be a little harsh in the lips but gets so much off. I then move on with wet n wild - Perfect Pout Sleeping Lip Mask and honestly such an amazing lip mask for sooooo cheap it’s the next day and my lips are still extremely moisturized. 6. I then go in with the under eye roller (also from dollar tree) I keep it in the fridge so I can get the cooling sensation that my eyes need. I also know that it can be weird buying skincare from dollar tree just be careful and mindful of ingredients I used these products last night and woke up with no irritation ( and this is coming from a person with extremely sensitive skin ) and no breakouts. 7. I then go in with my teeth whitener (also from dollar tree, when I say on a budget I mean it 😂) it works so well and haven’t notice any sensitivity !! 8. I then put on my The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA which can sting just a tiny bit because of my sensitive skin but works AMAZING!!! Overall, if someone says not to use something but it works for you don’t listen what works for your skin works for you! Everyone’s skin is different and unique. Always except advice no one should judge and make sure to have fun.

Wow I never would have thought I could love one product as much as I love this one. If you can’t tell already I’m a sucker for glycolic acid. It’s just so nice to get in my skin and take away every dead with barely any effort. Every morning after I use this product my face glows and is baby soft. This product can be irritating to some at first two tries but you’ll get used to it! All I can say is wow. I love drunk elephant! DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Resurfacing Night Serum
Drunk Elephant Line Rapid Review: Part 1
Brief peeks into my latest opinions of various Drunk Elephant products: • DRUNK ELEPHANT - Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser is a deep-cleaning gel cleanser that is strong enough to take off sweat and sunscreen, but I find it needs a primary cleanse if I’m wearing makeup. Can be bit harsh if I’m having an eczema flare-up but is otherwise gentle and good for most skin. • DRUNK ELEPHANT - Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser is a super gentle balm cleanser that I love to leave on as a moisturizing mask before I use it to wash off my makeup. Doesn’t irritate my eyes and is perfect for sensitive skin. • DRUNK ELEPHANT - C-Firma Vitamin C Day Serum is a potent vitamin c serum that lightens hyperpigmentation very well within months of use. However, it is too potent for my skin, so I dilute it heavily if I use it. • DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Resurfacing Night Serum makes skin so soft and smooth! It helps bumpy texture wonderfully. Again, super potent- I have to be sure to use a small amount dilute in a serum and applied over top of my moisturizer. Improves skin texture very fast. • DRUNK ELEPHANT - Lala Retro Whipped Moisturizer with Ceramides is and always will be a favourite. Creamy yet fluffy. Rich and quenching. Perfect for sensitive skin. Never leaves me shiny! • DRUNK ELEPHANT - F-Balm Electrolyte Waterfacial Mask is another favourite- it’s perfect for dehydrated, dry, or sensitive skin. I always use it after an acid product to prevent inflammation and sensitivity. A surprising texture, due to the beads of fatty acids, and it soaks in quickly. • DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial 25% AHA + 2% BHA Mask is so, so, so potent! It’s amazing. A single use leaves my skin baby soft and glowing. However, the potency that gives instant results makes it so strong that I can only use it every other week. But I’ll keep doing so because it’s so wonderful feeling my smooth, soft skin afterwards. • DRUNK ELEPHANT - Virgin Marula Antioxidant Face Oil is the best oil I’ve ever tried in terms of super fast absorption and lack of shine. It leaves me dewy, not greasy, and a couple drops is the perfect boost to my moisturizers. It is a bit pricy though considering I only use it in the PM unless it’s winter, making the quick absorption only important for 3 months of the year. • DRUNK ELEPHANT - Umbra Sheer Physical Daily Defense Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 30 No white cast, no tingling, no congestion. Buuut I am a little shiny if I use this in the summer, so this is my preferred winter sunscreen and would be perfect for dry-skinned folks.
Today’s skincare 🧴 - • Tata Harper’s purifying cleanser is a truly luxurious cleanser and just melts into the skin. Perfect for any skin type and has a beautiful smell (7/10) - • Aurelia eye dew is a good light eye serum if you don’t want anything too heavy (6.5/10) - • The Ordinary amino acids + b5 is a great product for repairing the skin barrier and it really does add a glow over time (7/10) - • Dr Sebagh’s serum repair hyaluronic acid will actually tighten the skin instantly and is great around the eyes and on the forehead (7.5/10) - • Beauty Pie supreme cream is a heavy duty skin cream and will help with any dry skin or irritation (8.5) - • Ponds anti wrinkle cream spf 15 is an all time favourite. It has lactic acid and both mineral and chemical sunscreen for optimal protection whilst not being comedogenic (9/10)
The Ordinary-Amino Acids + B5
More than Ordinary
I love the simplicity of this product and the packaging. Skincare’s focus should always be in the ingredients. I think good skin and maintenance is achievable without having to break the bank. This company offers just that. I have fairly good skin so I didn’t purchase a lot of serums and acids from The Ordinary. I wanted to get the basics like this squalene cleanser and moisturizer/spf. They feel very nice and gentle on my face. I would buy again for the larger sizes. When my other serums run out, I’ll definitely buy my next drops products from them! The peeling solution amazed me. The scent wasn’t too overpowering and you can feel the product working on your skin. I’ll apply this every month with my routine. Just make sure you aren’t mixing it with other acids that would be harsh for your skin.

Mad Hippie-Cleansing Oil
I use them on my hands, arms, & chest. Yes, this Korean centella serum will be used on my hands & chest bc I’ve started my strict routine & won’t be introducing anything new to it. The Mad Hippie Vitamin c serum is AHMAZING but a stronger one that I’ll be using & this one will oxidize soon & expire. So hands & chest it is ☺️ Curology another great product. This one has a high tretinoin percentage & you all know I just couldn’t sync up with it. I’ve used most of it but the remaining amount will go to my chest area. Drunk Elephant Umbra sunscreen is a great 100% mineral spf but I have others that work better for my face & under makeup Elemis Night Recovery Oil was amazing as well & I’ve used most of it but the remaining will go to hands & chest bc I’m changing my routine up.

Honest Drunk Elephant Opinion
First post HI💓 Background: I do love DE, but there are hiccups for me in their products. Virgin Marula: I have an oily t-zone and skin that breaks out from anything it doesn’t like almost right away so I was super anxious when it came to this and Ignored it for a while. If you use too much, I find I break out, especially if I do not rub it in but I defiantly do not think I could live without it. B-Hydra: so I know you’re meant to use this along with other products in the line... but I just don’t see much come out of it. Maybe because my skin is not on the dry side but I just do not see a difference when I use/ don’t use this. I do like the feeling it leaves though on my skin, it sinks in right away and doesn’t stay on the surface Beste: I had a problem with this little guy when I first got it. Something it in crystallized and i, for some, still used it seeing these weird beads in it and started to bleed lol. I did switch from my fresh beauty soy face cleanser to this. I wouldn’t say that it is a must have. I feel like there are other cleansers that take the grime away better but this does the trick. I think if I was a foundation lover that this would also affectly remove it... Umbre: Another I cannot live without. No chemical smells, just some baby break outs from it. But my skin looks so much better after wearing it. And I love this size to carry everywhere when I need to re-apply. I am not so fair where I burn, but with using this my freckles do not come out as much, which I find to be a plus. Let's talk about antioxidants (AO for short), shall we? Sure, they're great for nutrition (which I desperately need after pastry school) but they're huge in skincare as well. We all know about the wonders of vitamin c (often L ascorbic acid) for dark spots, but its ability to defend against free radicals is what can really make a difference, especially if you live in a city. That's just one AO though, so I thought I'd go through more of them by rounding up a bunch of products with various AOs: ▪️ vit c isn't just in serums, like Drunk Elephant c-firma, but also in cleansers, creams and so on like the BeautyPie japanfusion transforming cleanser (which also has polyphenols, another AO) and Dr. Loretta intense brightening cream ▪️ kakadu plum is just one example of naturally occurring vit c, and it's in one of my favorites, Asarai response theory daily serum; another is rosehip oil in Goto-skincare face hero and Jurlique rose balancing serum ▪️ retinol is an AO too! I usually restrict it to nighttime, but gentle versions like those found in EVE LOM time retreat essence and JVSkincare daily serum can work during the day (with sunscreen of course) ▪️ speaking of SPF, COOLA sun silk drops have full spectrum protection AND an AO from mangosteen - AOs are anti-inflammatory, so it can help against sunburn too! Supergoop! superscreen similarly gets it from blue-green algae ▪️ take the same foods with AO properties and apply it to skincare, like the peach extract in SATURDAY Skincare freeze frame essence, carrot seed oil in Nuria Beauty defense serum, green tea in WOWYOU! super serum and VENN Skincare all-in-one concentrate, and kombucha in Fresh Beauty black tea kombucha essence
