Some old, some new favorites 🌈
New: I’ve been trying out the Fourth Ray - Reveal 10% Alpha Hydroxy Acid Serum and I LOVE it! My skin is soooo soft and smooth afterwards. The Milk MAKEUP - Glow Oil Lip + Cheek delivers a subtle, glowy color to your cheeks and lips and blends pretty well. The only thing is that it stains my sponges so that’s a bummer. Recently picked up the FARMACY - Cheer Up Brightening Vitamin C Eye Cream with Acerola Cherrybut I haven’t tried it yet, trying to get through my other eye cream before I open this baby. Old faves: Neutrogena - Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel Moisturizer my go to moisturizer for oily, acne prone skin. I’ve bought soooo many over the years! PHYSICIANS FORMULA - Murumuru Butter Bronzer is my favorite bronzer, I think ever? It’s just so blendable, buildable and the perfect bronze for my skin tone.
💋 💄Foundation: MAKE UP FOR EVER - Reboot Active Care Revitalizing Foundation 💄Setting powder: Coty AIRSPUN - Airspun Translucent Extra Coverage Loose Powder 💄Blush: Milk MAKEUP - Glow Oil Lip + Cheek 💄Eyeliner: MAC - 209 Eyeliner Brush 💄Lipstick: KIKO - 3D Hydra Lipgloss

Murad love or hate?
So I have a love hate relationship with Murad, here is why Love: you know I love their stress cream, I love their vitamin C cleanser it smells like oranges and it’s more of a creamy cleanser and doesn’t dry out my skin. I also love the spf moisturizer they have too. I feel like it double protects my skin, I always put on more sunscreen after it Hate: their glycolic vitamin C serum? Yeah it has around 10% glycolic acid, which is not safe to use everyday AM and PM like it says in the directions, otherwise just using it as a exfoliator is nice. Another thing I hate? The price!! Holy crap this brand is expensive, speaking as a college student with a part time retail job. Yeah no way Jose. I would recommend these products that I loved like the stress cream and spf cream and the cleansers, their salicylic one clears up my mask acne! As I was saying I’d recommend this stuff but only if you can find it on sale.
My Vitamin C Holy Grail
I’ve been obsessed with my Murad - Vitamin C Glycolic Brightening Serum I’ve received this in my Trendmood Box months ago and I’m still using it! I already posted a review before. I’m here to share my final thoughts. ☀️This serum is made with Vita-C Complex, which enhances L-ascorbic acid stability and potency. It also includes glycolic acid to remove dulling surface cells and help vitamin C support skin more effectively. The dual chamber package gives you a concentrated, fresh dose of vitamin C and glycolic acid with every use. ☀️My experiences with this product has been good thus far. It helps fade my acne scars and lighten my freckles. My goal is to get rid of them. I know freckles is a trend but I HATE them! I don’t like the price ($104 CAD) but I understand the price and I will repurchase this thanks to @paybright at @sephoracanada . With PayBright it’s $26 bi weekly! Now that isn’t bad at all! ☀️If you want a good Vitamin C serum this one will sparkle and please you. This will be a repurchase for me once I finish mine. Question of the day- what is your favourite serum? Keep Smiling and Stay Positive 🍁
Milk makeup, is it worth it?
Over the past couple years I’ve really wanted to try out milk makeup and I thought the brands aesthetic was so pretty/ minimal. It’s perfect for a quick on the go person or someone who wants to look glam. Hydro grip primer, this is really good. It has become of my fave ones to use. It provides a great base for my foundation or even for my bb cream. It’s feel kinda like gel but not thick. Spreads easily and has a slight tackiness, also leaves my skin moisturized. The only downside is the smell, it’s kinda like a plastic/agave scent mixed together. The scent does fade which is great so it doesn’t linger around. $30 for 1.52 oz and $15 for 0.33 oz Milk MAKEUP - Hydro Grip Primer Kush mascara, this one is in my top 5 fave ones to use. The bristles coat my lashes nicely and make them appear thicker. Doesn’t have a strong scent. When I apply them to my bottom lashes they don’t smudge onto my skin. $24 for 0.34 oz/10 ml and $12 for 0.13 oz/4 ml Milk MAKEUP - KUSH High Volume Mascara Tattoo stamp in star, it’s super cute! I’ve had this well over a year and it’s still pretty pigmented. I use this on my lids, cheeks and anywhere on my face to give me that cute vibe. It lasts all day and hasn’t smudged on me. $12 and they come in lots of designs. Milk MAKEUP - Tattoo Stamp Kush lip balm in plushberry, it’s a sheer berry color. Moisturizes my lips and gives them a super cute tint. I’m definitely more into sheer colors and glosses. It has a slight minty scent to it that I love. $16 for 3g Milk MAKEUP - Kush Lip Balm Kush clear brow gel, it sets my brows nicely but it isn’t a strong hold. It’s more of medium. Doesn’t have a distinct smell which is good. $20 which is pretty expensive. Milk MAKEUP - KUSH Clear Brow Gel Holographic stick in supernova, I really like this. It pretty creamy and I like applying this with my fingers. Looks super cute as an eyeshadow as well. It’s more of a duochrome. It has a purple/blueish shift. I wish it had a bit more pigment in it. Currently on sale at Sephora for $18 for the full size 1 oz/28 g. Mini size $15 for 0.25 oz/7.1 g Milk MAKEUP - Holographic Stick Watermelon brightening serum, this was ok. Wasn’t my favorite. It feels nice on the skin, kinda moisturizing but I didn’t see any brightening effect. $36 for 1.2 oz/ 34g and $18 for 0.22 oz/ 6.25 g. Personally not worth the money. Milk MAKEUP - Watermelon Brightening Serum Cooling water stick, same as the watermelon serum and this wasn’t my favorite. Yes it moisturized a little bit but I saw no difference in my skin. Too expensive to buy and not worth the money for me. If you have the money for an overpriced “serum” go ahead and get this but just save your money for something else. Milk MAKEUP - Cooling Water Blur stick definitely not worth it. Bunched up too much. Milk MAKEUP - Blur Stick
Milk Makeup ——eh🤷♀️
I’ve picked up a few products to give Milk Makeups skincare line a try. While I do love the Cleanser and tried the moisturizer as a sample and liked it as well, I can’t say I’m impressed with the others I have. Milk MAKEUP - Day + Night Serum and Mask Face Set Has the Milk MAKEUP - Watermelon Brightening Serum and I haven’t seen any changes since using Milk MAKEUP - Watermelon Brightening Face Mask and again no noticeable changes Milk MAKEUP - Melatonin Overnight Lip Mask I do enjoy the lip mask. It reminds me a bit of the Laneige Sleeping Mask but has a bit of a natural scent to it. Milk MAKEUP - Melatonin Overnight Serum again, no changes since using What I do like about the products are the roll on stick application. It’s a fun change of using traditional methods. I’ve just picked up the Milk MAKEUP - KUSH High Volume Mascara and so far am really liking it!!! Very clean and easy to apply. No smearing or flaking. Sorry such a blah review but that’s kinda my opinion of the brand. Just didn’t “wow” me. #CherieCreator
Life Savers For Anyone With Large Pores!!
I'm very new to this whole skincare thing, so I still have a lot to learn. HOWEVER, these two products have changed my life!! I've had huge pores for as long as I can remember. For the longest time, I thought there was something wrong with the foundations I use as they sunk into my pores upon application. I've tried a few different brands of foundation and primers, every time being disappointed with how it looked on my skin. Then I found this app. I've only been using these products for a few weeks, but OMG what a difference!! Not only am I noticing a difference in the size of my pores already, but this primer practically eliminates them! I have never been able to apply foundation smoothly until I found this product. HOWEVER! I have also fallen inlove with The Ordinary's Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%! Since using this with other general skincare products I've been using regularly for years, my skin is clearing up to the point that I don't feel the need to wear any foundation at all! I can't wait to order some under eye creams and stuff for my dark spots. They're already in my basket at Sephora! Thank you to this amazing community. I have learned so much over the past few weeks from all of you, and I love that I can get REAL skin care recommendations. Keep shining on, gfs!!!!

My secret magic potion
This is the lovely Renew Serum by Glo Skin Beauty. This stuff has easily transformed my skin and my skin are routine. I first found this little gem when I started working at the medical spa I currently work at now, and let me tell you when I don’t use it for a while i notice. This has made my skin so even toned, it helps control my hormonal breakouts around that time of the month and it’s made my skin so taught and firm. The reason it does all of these amazing things are because of the ingredients it has combined inside! It contains: Salicylic Acid - which is a great ingredient to help acne, and keep your pores clear by drawing out impurities and a great exfoliant to help minimize their appearance. Glycolic Acid - which is great for evening the skin tone and combatting dark spots / acne scarring Retinol - helps with smoothing the texture of the skin and also combatting acne / acne scarring. This is for sure one of my holy grail products!🙌🏼 Definitely worth the purchase glo - Renew Serum Price - $48 #renewserum #acne #pores #CherieCreator
Behind the scenes | The Secret | The face
I thought I’d quickly share my ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE skin care + makeup product and the face that comes along with it 😂 Anyone that sees this post, I challenge you to do this with the same layout and tag me!! 1. Mad Hippie - Vitamin A Serum This product is my saviour of everything pigmentation and hydration! I started off using it every other night but now I use it every night. In the morning my skin is plumped, SOFT AF and smooth like a babies butt. It’s basically a super gentle serum that shares properties of retinol but super safe. Whenever my eczema gets bad and my hyperpigmentation gets worse from the sun, using this product overtime has helped me so much! Physical exfoliants and salicylic acid tend to be very harsh on my skin and 9/10 my eczema reacts so to have a product that sinks into your skin and compliments your skincare routine... yes please. One thing I will say is please be patient. I purchased this product almost two years ago and I thought it wasn’t good because I didn’t see immediate results. Giving it a second try last year BOY AM I THANKFUL. If you want an exfoliator that is not overly drying and safe for sensitive skin... look no further 2. DERMABLEND - Loose Setting Powder I’ve spoken about this in a previous post but I love this product SO MUCH for the smooth airbrushed YET natural look effect 🥺 I use this DAILY with DERMABLEND - Flawless Creator Multi-Use Liquid Foundation Drops and they work perfect together. Another reason why this is my absolute favourite is because it keeps everything LOCKED. I’m extremely active and I’m constantly moving around and/or sweating. It’s so nice to have a product that keeps my concealer and everything else on stuck ALL while NOT clogging my pores (girl yesss, I know!!) I’ve recently started using the powder by itself after my moisturizer because (according to dermablend) it can help lock the moisture in and so far my skin looks and feels silky smooooooth Okay thanks for reading my long essay Bye guys!! :)

Beauty Cocktail 🥂
Estee Lauder - Double Wear Stay In Place Makeup+Kiehl’s - Midnight Recovery Face Oil > serum foundation Kiehl's - Midnight Recovery Concentrate ➕ Kiehl's - Midnight Recovery Concentrate I’ve mixed a lot of beauty products just to test them out and see how they work together. Some don’t work so well together, some have no effect, and some work extraordinarily well. Two products that did do extremely well was Kiehl’s Midnight recovery face oil and Estee Lauder’s Double Wear Stay-in-Place makeup. Kiehl’s midnight recovery face oil works extremely well to help take care of my skin by brightening and clearing it up. This serum doesn’t clog up pores and helps with acne. This oil also has a great fragrant smell to it and is very lightweight, which makes it easy to layer onto other products. It’s one of the main reasons I decided to use this with other products to try out. Estee Lauder’s Double Wear is a liquid foundation. It being a liquid also makes it easier to layer with other products, especially since it also has a matte finish. This foundation is very nice because it lasts all day and doesn’t get oily or cakey. To combine these two, I apply the foundation by Estee Lauder first, and than apply the oil by Kiehl’s. Because both are liquids, they are able to layer on top of each other fairly well. Both have unique traits and benefits that compliment each other, which makes it the ideal pair to combine.

The Ordinary Hard on Sensitive Skin
I was immediately intrigued by this company since getting involved with the skincare world. by their minimalist packaging and low prices, that only made me more skeptical. I have combination and sensitive skin, and some of them hurt my skin more than others. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Starting off with my favorite product of the bunch, this serum really makes a difference immediately. I’ve been using it in the am and pm for 2 weeks and my overly stimulated oil production has almost CEASED. That being said, I have some dryer patches oh my face from the lack of excess oil and other reasons vv The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution This is something I use every other night or so. The reason I’m giving it 3 stars is because for me, I think it may be making a difference? But over all it just makes my skin peel and sting. I do have sensitive skin so it could be that or the acid eroding my dermis tissue. Idk I’m still trying to find the line between “beauty is pain” and “omfg stop doing that, you’re violating your face”. The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution This product I’m not too sure how I feel about. First of all, it stings like a mofo, and makes my face an overly-aggressive red for a few. My face is really soft though and my dark spots are lightening:) The Ordinary - High-Adherence Silicone Primer Very tacky product (in a good way) I’m entirely sure if it’s hydrating or non-comeogenic because I have my suspicions, but good primer overall if you have oily and sensitive skin. I wouldn’t call it long lasting, but I’d say you’d be safe for conservatively ~7hrs
The Ordinary-AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution
this product has been super hyped on tik tok and instagram! This chemical exfoliant is a great treatment to use once or twice a week MAX. With chemical exfoliants it’s important to work up your tolerance. If you have never used one before this is not the right product for you, using a low % of AHAs (5%) or BHA (0.5-1%) would work a lot better. Jumping to 30% AHA will cause irritation and over exfoliate the skin. It’s a great product for texture and hyperpigmentation but just be careful and remember to patch test!
