HOW TO TURN YOUR HAIR FROM THIS🤮 TO THIS😍🔥

kianako.s
My hair care journey has not been easy but over time, I turned my EXTREMELY heat-damaged hair into lively, bouncy curls! Pictured is my current hair care routine, after 3 years of trying various hair products from ALL different brands I think I found my favorite lineup😍 TPH BY TARAJI - Honey Fresh Clarifying Shampoo With Moisture
This clarifying shampoo is one of favorites that I’ve tried so far! I suffer from fast product build-up on my scalp, so I usually need to use a clarifying shampoo at least once a week. Something about a shampoo that bubbles makes my scalp feel extra clean 🧼 so I love using this on days where I feel like my No-Poo won’t get the job done. SLS/SLES free, phthalate free, paraben free, mineral oil free, and cruelty free! DevaCurl - No-Poo Original Zero Lather Conditioning Cleanser
I wanted to love this product because I heard so much hype about it but it just doesn’t do much for when I feel like I need a wash day😅 Great texture though and my hair never feels stripped after using it! DevaCurl - One Condition Original Daily Cream Conditioner
THIS IS MY HOLY GRAIL. Favorite conditioner I’ve ever used and definitely has a large role in my hair journey. My curls love this conditioner! (NOTE: the decadence version of this conditioner is great for super dry hair as well) Alikay Naturals - Lemongrass Leave-in Conditioner
This is another one of my ride or die products and I was so surprised to see that it hadn’t been recommended on cherie yet! This detangles my hair so easily and it’s the first thing I spray on my hair when I get out of the shower. Its main ingredient is lemongrass oil that aims to help strengthen hair follicles, promote healthy hair growth, and reduce hair shedding. Highly recommend this product for ALL hair types! Kinky-Curly - Knot Today, Natural Leave In / Detangler
This product is okay. When I first bought it, I though it would serve more as a gel to seal my leave in conditioners in but it just doesn’t work as well as DevaCurl - Light Defining Gel Soft Hold No-Crunch Styler
. This gel creates the perfect shine and seal for all my moisturizing products that I apply before hand. AND I love that it doesn’t leave a crunchy feeling most gels do. MIELLE - Pomegranate & Honey Leave-In Conditioner
Another hair care staple. The smell is fantastic and it slips through my hair like BUTTAH😩 Once my hair dries, I’m left with pillow-soft curls! (NOTE: I apply this after my Alikay Naturals Leave-in spray and top it with my gel) Briogeo - Don't Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Hair Mask
Last but not least, liquid gold in a tub. Man if I could bathe in this mask I would. I use this mask once-twice a week to add some extra richness in my routine!

Is The Briogeo Deep Conditioning Mask Worth $36?
I have been on the search for a good hair mask for quite some time now. Up until recently I was using the aussie - 3 Minute Miracle Moist Deep Conditioner . This stuff gets the job done and made my hair feel super soft, but I felt that after using it for awhile it left my hair frizzy. So on the hunt for a new mask with more natural ingredients, I found the Don’t despair hair mask by Briogeo. Briogeo - Don't Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Hair Mask This deep conditioning mask is “6-Free Hair Care” it has no harsh sulfates, parabens, silicones, phthalates or arificial dyes. The ingredients are natural, I was hoping it would be more natural and less stripping to my hair This mask did not leave me with a good first impression. I felt I needed to use a large amount of product in my hair on first use. After rinsing the product out, my wet hair did not feel as clean or as smooth. I was disappointed. However, the next day my hair did feel softer and was not frizzy either. After using the product multiple times, I am now impressed how it makes my hair feel. The conditioner leaves my hair feeling soft and free from oil in between washes. My hair feels cleaner for a longer period of time. Most importantly I feel good about using this product knowing it has natural and non stripping ingredients. I have officially ditched the $7 Aussie conditioner for this one. The only complaint I have about the Briogeo Mask is I feel like I need to use quite a bit of the product for my entire head of hair (My hair is pretty thick, but just over shoulder length). But other than that I’m loving it. I definitely recommend.

How to instantly look younger💖6 Tips you MUST know!
The power of a good haircut is AMAZING! While looking through the internet, I'm impressed by the celebrities who instantly look younger by changing their hairstyle. With the help of a stylist friend, I've got these hair tips for a younger look:  💖Highlights Highlights can add dimension and reflect light to your hair. Stay away from one harsh solid hair color. Go for subtle highlights on top and around your face. Warmer tones are best, such as caramel for brunettes, golden for blondes, or copper for redheads. 💖Volumizing hair products Get volumizing shampoo and conditioner duo such as PERCY & REED - Bountifully Bouncy Volumising Shampoo & Conditioner Duo, which are slightly scented and leave my hair clean and lifting after blowing out. With the year pass, our hair tends to be thinner and thinner with the hair loss problems, so giving more volume gives the illusion of thicker hair for a younger look.  💖Bouncy curls Curls actually have fantastic power to make your hair look fuller and thicker by making slim or flat hair look full and bouncy. I've got naturally straight hair, and every time I changed my look to beach waves with my curling iron, many of my friends told me that I looked much younger lol so I know this tip actually works. 💖Hair color Hair color is an important factor of better-looking skin as a different hair color may be more complementary to our skin tone and helps to make our blemishes less visible. For mature skin, warmer hair colors are better compared to cooler ones, as warmer tones like caramel or copper are able to bring warmth and light to our aged and dull skin, whereas ashier and darker colors can make you look older than by making your look washes out. 💖Heathy-looking hair Smooth and shiny hair is the key to youthful looks! Apart from basic hair care routine, including shampoos and conditioners, I also apply hair oils to my ends every night to prevent them from splitting and a deep conditioning hair mask such as Briogeo - Don't Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Hair Mask two times a week. What's more, don't look down on your hairbrush or scalp massager! I brush my hair with Christophe Robin - Boar Bristle Detangling Paddle Hairbrushand Briogeo - Scalp Revival Stimulating Therapy Massager for about 3min respectively every night to stimulate scalp circulation, which stimulates hair follicles and helps prevent hair falls. As for hair oils, I use HAIR FOOD - Coconut Sulfate Free Smoothing Hair Oil containing coconut oils, which is a powerhouse ingredient for hair moisturization and hair strengthening.  💖Lace Wigs Frequent dying or perming does harm to hair for sure, so I'd like to take a breath from dealing with my hair sometimes and use a lace wig for an instant effect, especially for covering grey hair. A lace wig with high quality is normally pricey but worthy investing, and I'm obsessed with my full lace wig as I can part anywhere I want without worrying about looking fake, and I can wear it out every day.  Hope you guys like these tips, and please share your hair tricks below xoxo!

Curly Hair Routine
Hey guys! This is my current hair routine 🤗👩🏽‍🦱 ~ i was my hair about 3 times a week ~ All my life i disliked my hair. It was super frizzy, unmanageable, and I was very insecure about it, up until this year. I stopped being lazy, educated myself on my hair type and was able to find beauty in my natural hair. Now i absolutely love doing my hair! it’s a lot of work & takes a lot of effort but i wouldn’t trade it for anything else. 💋 Now for the breakdown of the products: tgin - Rose Water Leave-In Conditioner Right after my wash i apply this leave in conditioner and rake it through my hair, making sure it covers every strand. I absolutely love the smell of this!!! Carol's Daughter - Hair Milk 4-in-1 ''Combing'' Crème Then i apply this super lightweight creme. It is very hydrating & smells soooo good. I’ve also noticed this product definitely makes all the difference in my hair. Support black owned businesses!! 🖤 DevaCurl - Light Defining Gel Soft Hold No-Crunch Styler After i flip my hair upside down and begin scrunching this product throughout my hair. What i love about this product is that it does exactly what it’s names. Super soft gel that does not leave a nasty crunch feel behind. Great for holding that shape. Lastly i diffuse my hair till it is about 80% dry ogx - Nourishing Coconut Oil Weightless Hydrating Oil Mist I finish it off with this spray, it’s great, efficient and inexpensive! & that’s it! 💞💓💗 Let me know if you guys try any of these out. Would you guys like more hair related posts? If you have an other suggestions or questions please leave a comment! 🤍

Wanna Mermaid Worthy Hair?Trust Me! Try This Haircare Routine!👩‍🦰👩‍🦰👩‍🦰
My hair was always frizzy, pouffy, did weird flippy things when it felt like it and it was just an overall hassle to tame. After years of trials and tribulations, money wasted and damaged hair due to the heat, I finally expolered the haircare routine that works perfectly on me.  I'd like to share it with you guys and hope its helpful for you.  1.  wash my hair once a week For someone with curly hair, washing with shampoo every day would strip away the hair’s natural oils and making it more dry and more frizzy. 2. I use shampoo with zero or minimal sulfates Lately the shampoos that have worked greatly for my dry and curly hair is the DevaCurl - No-Poo Original Zero Lather Conditioning Cleanser. This shampoo produces zero lather (which takes a while to get used to) and the grape seed, peppermint and rosemary in it keeps my hair soft and frizz-free. TheLUSH - Rehab Shampoo is another great shampoo if I want to switch it up. I only lather a loonie-size dollop of shampoo on my entire scalp. Tips: I never apply shampoo on the ends of my hair, just my scalp. 3.I use silicone-free conditioner It smells amazing and a little goes a long way with this one and it works wonders on my hair. The olive fruit oil, hops and quinoa in this conditioner makes my hair incredibly soft, but my hair still feels light and bouncy since there are no heavy silicones and parabens to weigh it down or make it greasy, like your average conditioners. I smooth out about 3-4 pumps of this conditioner on the ends of my hair only, starting from my ear, down to the ends. I let the conditioner sit in my hair for about 5 minutes before rinsing off and revealing silky hair that smells enchanting.  Tips: Never apply conditioner directly on the scalp and focus on the ends, because that is the driest part. 4. I rinse my hair with cold water  I always finish off my final rinse with very cold water. It’s worth the 10 seconds of frigid discomfort. The cold water basically eliminates frizz and feels refreshing on the scalp. 5. I pat my hair dry with a cotton T-shirt Never rub your curly hair in a towel! That will make your hair frizzy. Instead, grab a cotton T-shirt and pat gently. I pat my hair, focusing on the ends mostly, to absorb excess water to prepare it for the next step below. 6. I use styling product on wet hair The best advice I could give to styling curly hair: apply your styling product on wet hair. I have used a number of decent curling creams in the past but lately I have been digging thisLOVEurSELF - All-In-One: Curly. It has great ingredients, doesn’t feel heavy, and the curl power lasts all week. With this product, I get bouncy spiral curls for the first half of the week, and by the end of the week my hair winds down to flowy waves, and my hair never feels greasy. 7. I use a diffuser to dry my hair Diffusers distribute heat a little more sparingly so it’s not as damaging. I diffuse until my hair is about 80% dry, I give a brief cold air blast and then I finish off with the final step below. 8. I use a leave-in treatment to set my curls This LUSH - R&B Hair Moisturizeris a Holy Grail product for me. It’s the perfect finishing touch to use after I’m done diffusing my hair. 9. I use coconut oil as a deep conditioning hair mask  I’ll slather it on my ends, comb it out through my entire hair, give myself a little scalp massage, twist my hair up in a bun and let it absorb the coconut oil all day or overnight by wearing a disposable hair cap and placing a towel on my pillowcase. Do you have any ideas on curly hair routine. I'd love to discuss it with U!

$160 DevaCurl Is Almost Prefect Except This One Problem..
I bought DevaCurl cream conditioner, conditioning cleanser, and cleansing serum a while ago. I have curly hair and my hair used to tangle a lot.    DevaCurl - No-Poo Original Zero Lather Conditioning Cleanser It has an interesting scent. It smells like flowers and mint. It doesn't have much foam, but is very easy to use. My hair is super long, so I use 1oz, which is one package,  every time I wash my hair.  DevaCurl - Wash Day Wonder It looks like aloe vera. It actually smells like it as well. I didn't feel any difference in the shower. But the next day, I was impressed by my hair. It looked super smooth.  I used it with the conditioning cleanser this time. It is so magical! My hair feels so smooth even before I use the conditioner.  I use this serum once a week. And that's pretty sufficient to me. DevaCurl - One Condition Original Daily Cream Conditioner It looks like yogurt. The scent is surprising, similar to wood. But I love it. I also need to use 1 oz every time. After I rinse off the conditioner, my hair has a natural shine. It is not fake at all.  I like how these three products have distinct scents. I almost feel like I bought three perfumes. But afterusing all three products, my hair smells nice. It is very refreshing.   After my hair gets dry, it becomes super soft. I can see the obvious difference in the mirror. I am so impressed by it. Even when I wake up in the morning, it is easy to brush my hair. It doesn't have as many tangles as I used to have. And it is not frizzy at all. It is just smooth and moisturized. I love it!  I highly recommend DevaCrul. The only thing I would say though, is the price. It is quite expensive. The cleansing serum is about $80 for 32oz. The other two are around $40 for 32oz. I really can't afford such a high price. And I need one package every time. So it ran out quickly. If you know any dupes for DevaCurl please please please please tell me! I really need it!

Holy Grail Products for My Naturally Coily Hair
My hair is pretty sensitive to new products so when I find something that works for me, it’s rare that I try something new. However, I was drawn towards Mielle products based on all of the good reviews from friends and family with similar hair types to me that I’d heard. The company’s owner is also a Black woman who’s super inspiring and sweet. I put my fear aside, and decided to try these new products on my type 4 hair. I bought the entire line from Mielle’s website and upon it’s arrival, I was in LOVE with how they smelled. I’m really critical of fragrances in hair products because of my sensitivities, but Mielle products smell naturally sweet and similar to its name which in Spanish (Miel) means “honey”. I started using the shampoo and conditioner first just to see if I’d have any reactions before trying the rest of the line. I was pleasantly surprised and absolutely fell in LOVE. I’d definitely recommend using all of the products in order to see the best results. My hair is so soft and moisturized with no product flakes over time. Love love love. The Mielle line is definitely my holy grail when it comes to moisturized and nourished coily hair MIELLE - Pomegranate & Honey Moisturizing and Detangling Shampoo MIELLE - Pomegranate & Honey Moisturizing and Detangling Conditioner MIELLE - Pomegranate & Honey Twisting Soufflé MIELLE - Pomegranate & Honey Leave-In Conditioner

Curly Hair Routine for Fine Low Porosity Hair
Curly Hair Routine for Fine Low Porosity Hair
A successful wash day starts with using good curly-friendly products and treatments! If you're new to your curly hair journey, don't be discouraged if you're not seeing the results you want. It takes time and with continuous use of good products, your hair WILL transform I like to start my washes with a pre-poo treatment, that is a hot oil treatment. I do a scalp massage for about 10 minutes with the oil, and apply the rest to my hair and let it sit for about 30 mins. The oil I use is RIGHTEOUS ROOTS - Righteous Roots Rx Next, I rinse it off with shampoo! My favorite shampoo of all time is Bounce Curl - Enzyme Gentle Clarifying Shampoo I also really like Bounce Curl - Pure Silk Moisturizing Shampoo when I'm feeling for a moisture boost. It provides the perfect amount of moisture and doesn't weigh down my fine hair at all! After shampooing, I follow up with Bounce Curl - Super Smooth Cream Conditioner or if it's deep conditioning day, use my all time favorite rawkyn - RED rawkyn Clay Hair Mask Styling products: Normally use a leave-in conditioner and gel to style, but in this video, I experimented with 3 products- mousse, leave-in, and gel! The results weren't too bad, but I did feel it was probably too much product for my hair . I think I'll stick with 2 products 😊 Products used: NOT YOUR MOTHER'S - Curl Talk Curl Activation Mousse Uncle Funky's Daughter - Curly Magic Curl Stimulator and Uncle Funky's Daughter - Good Hair Styling Cream

Nourish your Curls and Discover your True Texture...
Nourish your Curls and Discover your True Texture...
My hair texture is thick and curly, and I can suffer from frizz, it’s a big struggle to define my curls. So I  was so happy when I discovered these three products. The combination just works for me and helps me embrace my natural hair texture.  Elvive Extraordinary Oil Deep Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner Set  L’oreal Paris makes this shampoo and conditioner, and it’s incredible, the quality of the products are what you would expect from this brand. The Shampoo is uber moisturising, and your hair feels silk even before you put the hair conditioner on. My hairdresser recommends two washes, but with this shampoo, you only need to wash it once.  Infused with sweet-smelling flower oils the conditioner is fantastic, luxurious, and my hair feels so good after using it, soft and much more comfortable to manage and style. You must use the two together which is why I’m recommending the set, you can buy them separately, but it better value this way and as they say in Paris “You’re worth it”. Palmers Olive Oil Formula Leave-In Conditioner  Straight from Jamaica straight on to your hair, this leave-in spray is the bomb, use it after you have washed and dried your hair, spray on the ends to create nourished and lightweight curls. Protects the hair from holiday heat and humidity, I love this leave-in spray - you just spray and go!
