D.BennettI’m not sure about using the cleanser at night with the Differin Gel (maybe over doing the acids) I usually recommend getting a gentle cleanser. I didn’t start off with niacinamide (but I use it now) to let my skin get used to the Retinization of my skin It’s takes time for your skin to “purge” when you introduce a retinoid. It’s normal, basically like your skin refreshing itself. Around a month - 6 weeks you should see it subside. Just make sure your using a pea size on your entire face and not as a spot treatment.

My Process for Flawless Foundation
While I’m no makeup expert, I’ve found what makes me feel confident and beautiful. Here’s my process for achieving flawless foundation: Maintaining a healthy base is absolutely key to flawless foundation. Start off with a clean and moisturized face. Listen to your skin and watch how it reacts to products. Focus on skincare so that when you apply foundation, it’ll glide on in a breeze. If interested, I’ve described my skin routine previously for Cherie but if you’d like a spoiler, buy DIFFERIN - Acne Treatment Gel After my face is prepped, I apply MAYBELLINE - Cover Stick Concealer directly onto any dark spots and redness. The green color helps to offset discoloration but it’s important to lightly blend it out afterwards so that the color isn’t too harsh and can be covered by foundation. And then comes actual foundation: You’re going to want to do research...and lots of it before you find your perfect fit. I’m not even sure if I’ve found mine, seeing that I mix two different foundations to satisfy my coverage and skin tone needs. There’s sheer, medium, and full coverage foundations so be sure to understand what you’re searching for. Look past just the labeling and what foundations claim that they’ll do. Go the extra mile and research the ingredients too. Try out different shades with specific undertones. Keep in mind that you may be a different color in the summer compared to the winter. I mixNARS - Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation and MAYBELLINE - Fit Me Matte + Poreless Liquid Foundation and have come to be satisfied with the outcome (although I’d love to only spend $$$ on one foundation). So, yes, it’s a journey and a long one that even I’m still on, but it’s one worth going on. I contour with KKW BEAUTY - Crème Contour & Highlight Sets and honestly I love these. The contour colors aren’t too light or too dark for me and glide on smoothly, perfect to blend. I use the typical beauty blender for my foundation and wet it with water as most do to prevent excess product from soaking in. Make sure to gently dab instead of just rubbing foundation in and use product conservatively. I use e.l.f. - Beautifully Bare Blending Brush to blend my highlight contour and really like it because of the brush’s precision. I can’t stress to you enough how important it is to consistently change your beauty blender and clean your makeup brushes. This goes along with protecting and maintaining skincare. I use MAC - Brush Cleanser and a brush cleansing pad that I bought from Amazon. I simply soak the cleanser onto each individual brush in a bowl, brush it over the cleansing pad, rinse it off with water, and leave the brush to air dry. It may take some time but it’s totally worth it every so often. Trust me, your skin will thank you.

skincare + tips for glowing skin without makeup!
We all know that glowing skin is achievable with makeup - highlighters, glosses, blushes, etc - but I have some tips today as well as some products I like to use to keep my skin glowing even without makeup (read: healthy skin for ME!)., My skin type is combo, acne prone, and I also have rosacea. Because of these things, I will never have “glass skin.” My skin is damaged - I get acne all the time, followed by dark spots and hyperpigmentation. I have broken capillaries under my skin, so I’m usually sporting some redness. And even with these things working against me, I do believe I have a glow most days. Products I Use: Allies of Skin - Triple Hyaluronic Antioxidant Hydration Serum hydrating my skin is very important to me, and this product does it FAST and safely. It’s formulated with antioxidants as well, so my skin can fight the free radicals from the environment at the same time. mxt - Custom Mixed Halo-Effect Weightless Cream now this product was custom mixed for my skin, so I love it because I know I put ingredients in it that my skin adores. Bakuchiol (a safe, plant based alternative to retinol for sensitive skin, or for beginners!), azaleic acid (for dark spots, hyperpigmentation, and acne), and green tea (more antioxidants!) The Ordinary - Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% hands down my favorite product from TO - I use it as a spot treatment on my dark spots and hyperpigmentation - and it’s sooo affordable. PAULA'S CHOICE - YOUTH-EXTENDING DAILY HYDRATING FLUID SPF 50 SPF ALWAYS! You’re not doing your skin any favors if you put skincare on but don’t use sunscreen. My sunscreen helps protect my face from the sun so that my skincare can work to its best ability, and also so I don’t get skin damage. Other tips I drink water pretty much all day. I don’t drink sodas much anymore, or sugary drinks, but water is pretty much what I want all the time. My skin is plumper when I drink water! getting enough sleep has helped my skin look it’s best - my undereye circles and bags are significantly decreased when I get enough sleep per night. I know it’s REALLY hard to get 8 hours, but get enough for what you feel is restful for you. wash your sheets & pillowcases often. I wash them once a week, but if you are more acne prone or oily skinned, washing your pillowcases twice a week will help. I don’t use any fabric softener or fragrance in my detergent - just good ole fashioned arm and hammer. #CheriePartner

Popular products I really wish worked 💔
Have you ever wished a popular product worked on you the same way it seems to work on everyone else ?!? No matter how much you stomp your foot and yell "but everyone else loves it!" it just doesn’t work for you? Me too. Here’s a list of products currently subscribed to my heart-break club: belif - Aqua Bomb Deep Hydration Set Anything from BELIF actually but I know the Aqua Bomb line was super popular. it left me completely dry and irritated like my first BF 💔 TATCHA - The Silk Canvas Protective Primer I’ve had better. The ELF pore filling one is better, seriously, I’m not even sorry. I’ve also tried the cleanser and a foaming serum, all absolute trash for me 💔 YVES SAINT LAURENT - Black Opium Eau de Parfum UGH the one that got away 😩this one truly truly breaks my heart because it is my absolute favorite scent in the world and I would bathe in it if I could but I can’t even wear one drop for 5 mins. Instant headache, nausea 💔😭 Charlotte Tilbury - Magic Cream Moisturizer The fuckboi of skincare. I held out for so long on buying this because I had a sneaky suspicion that it would be over-hyped and then one of my favorite YouTubers swore by it and I had to buy it. Why am I the way that I am? lol it never texted back as suspected. PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA (Salicylic Acid) Liquid Exfoliator SIGH. Just no. They said you have to use it for a long time to see results...ya... 2 months and nothing 😕 Milk MAKEUP - Hydro Grip Primer This pilled on my face no matter how many foundations or moisturizers I tried with it. Even no moisturizer. Really Not sure what the big hype over this one is 💔 YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser my summer fling. It worked wonders for 4 weeks and then I started noticing redness, dryness and flakiness. Those 4 weeks were magical though - never forget 💔 laura mercier - Translucent Loose Setting Powder Glow The "it’s not you, it’s me " listen idk who they’re marketing to but this is not translucent. This is a straight-up tinted powder that for whatever reason shows up a pastel shade of Cheetos on my skin. Not impressed, Coty Airspun forever 🤘🏻 Honorable mentions: ANY SUNSCREEN EVER KNOWN TO MAN. Don’t even bother suggesting. I only wear it anyways because I know I’m supposed to. The one that bothers my skin the LEAST seems to be Australian Gold - Botanical Tinted Face Sunscreen SPF 50 LITERALLY ANY NON-WATERPROOF MASCARA. I have the straightest lashes in the world and this is the only mascara for me: COVERGIRL - Exhibitionist Waterproof Mascara

Sunscreen 📌
Sunscreen 📌 Sunscreen is an important part of a skin routine, it helps prevents skin aging caused by the sun. 📌 not applying enough sunscreen leads to UV damage which can minor concerns like hyperpigmentation, fine lines....but it can also lead to an increased risk of skin cancer 📌 to point out, the skin cancer foundation says that it’s really important to wear sunscreen in the winter time because the sun can reflect off ice or snow which means you’re getting hit 2times as much one from the sky , once from reflecting on the ground . 📌TAke extra precautions by wearing it anyways, even indoor, either you’re outside or not. Keep in mind that it won’t be a harm to you in any way. 📌 Also, be careful with your sunscreen, pick the physical ones by looking into the ingredients, they contain zinc oxide or titanium dioxide . Overall , wearing a sunscreen must be 365 days, NO EXCUSES. Sharing with you what I’m using as of now 😊Australian Gold - Botanical Tinted Face Sunscreen SPF 50 LA ROCHE-POSAY - Anthelios Body and Face Gentle-Lotion Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50

Ceramides - your skin barriers best friend
I’m a huge sucker for anything with ceramides in them. It’s such a great skin fortifying ingredient that I can’t get enough of. One of the latest product additions to my routine is THE inkey LIST - Ceramide Hydrating Night Treatment . This is an overnight treatment that contains a multi ceramide complex 3% and multi molecular hyaluronic acid 2.5% along with squalane, sodium pca, cholesterol, and a variety of amino acids. These all work in synergy to help protect and rehydrate the skin by forming a protective barrier to prevent moisture lost. This has a slightly thick and sticky cream-ish texture that takes a bit of experimenting to be fully incorporated into a routine. Once fully absorbed, it leaves a bit of a tacky finish. Since this is considered a treatment product, I use it during serum step after my watery serums, if I’m using any that night, right before my moisturizer. So the first time I used this, I experienced massive pilling. I had to do some guesswork and experiment with what I was using before and after this product. What I found worked best for me was using minimal products before applying this, and applying it on slightly damp skin. Applying it on slightly damp skin helped me spread it all over my face easier, and I noticed it also helped the product absorb much quicker. I really liked this product after I figured out how to utilize it. I’ve used this every night for the past 3 weeks now, and especially on exfoliation nights to help rebuild my skin barrier. Since then, my skin has definitely felt stronger and looks more nourished. I didn’t experience any irritations or breakouts while using this as well. Overall, this is a great product to have in an evening routine once you’ve figured out how to utilize it within your own routine. After that, you can expect a stronger skin barrier over time. The inkey list really impressed me with this one. Have you guys tried this yet? If so, any thoughts on it? Rating: 4/5🌟 #CherieCreator #TheInkeyList

Inkey List Ceramide Treatment
I have sooo many exfoliating, brightening, smoothing, etc. products, that sometimes I’m like, what can I use when my skin is freaked out or I just don’t wanna do anything special? This product is perfect for those occasions. It just hydrates and repairs the skin like nothing else! The first time I used it, I used it as a night mask and hated it. It piled, didn’t sink in and was just a mess. The second time I used it, I used it under my moisturizer, as a serum and loved it! Whenever my skin is freaking out, or if I damaged my moisturizer barrier, this product saves me. It’s super rich, hydrating and calming. This is the perfect product to use if you’ve over exfoliated your skin! I mostly use it at night, and when I wake up the next day, my skin always looks and feels calmer and healthier. . . . . (Gifted)

Trying to clear my skin!!
I’ve been dealing with acne for about 2-3 years now, and I’m tired of it. My current skincare routine is: Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser This is what I use to wash, only giving it 3 stars because my skin always feels stripped after using it The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 While my face is still wet I use this and pat it in, I’ve got dry skin so it works great and gives nice hydration, however after is dries down my skin feels one again stripped. I think it might be because of the wash so I’ll definitely need to get a better one. My third product is my prescribed acne product(I have a picture of it above)so I cannot list it. I had helped a little but I don’t really see much of a difference anymore. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% This product had helped me a lot, my face isn’t as red as it used to be and helps with my blemishes a little. And I only use this when I am not using the prescribed acne product CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin I use this product as my moisturizer. I love how it’s not to thick but works great for my dry skin! The Ordinary - 100% Plant-Derived Squalane Provided me with extra surface hydration so my face doesn’t look dry and flaky Any suggestions?

Quick lil skin update
Phew my skin has calmed down so much since the last time I posted 10 days ago. I cannot even explain how bad purging was for me. I realized I had so much gunk clogged in my pores it was insane! My skin is finally calming down and getting smoother. Not completely, still have hyperpigmentation and some small comedones but I feel like I’m finally over the worst part🤞🏽😅 My current skin care routine definitely feels less harsh than what I was using in the beginning and is as follows: AM Routine: YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser Gentle on my skin in the morning, not stripping or drying but kinda pricey I feel like you could find a similar, cheaper option SUNDAY RILEY - C.E.O. Glow Vitamin C and Turmeric Face OilJust started using this for the past week so I can’t tell if it’s doing anything yet but it’s fast absorbing AND it’s THD Ascorbate (as opposed to Ascorbic Acid) meaning it’s more stable, can be mixed with niacinamide and other higher pH ingredients AND has a longer shelf-life The Ordinary - Alpha Arbutin 2% + HAAlso just started using this so not sure if it’s doing anything CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin A+, love to death elta md SKINCARE - UV Daily Broad-Spectrum SPF 40 Another ride or die🤞🏽 PM Routine: BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Antioxidant Cleansing Oil I’ve learned that I love cleansing OILS as opposed to balms but there are cheaper options out there ☺️ CeraVe - Renewing SA Cleanser For Normal Skin Started using this again at night and so glad I did! It really feels like it’s cleaning and getting into my pores 🧼 (key: after washing my face for a minute I let the wash sit for another minute or 2 to let the SA really sink in) SKINCEUTICALS - Blemish + Age Defense MY HOLY GRAIL. Has really transformed my skin in the past 2 weeks, definitely recommend if you’ve got the budget cause this bad boy sits at $92 PURITO - Centella Green Level Calming Toner I apply this thick calming toner 15 minutes after letting my skinceuticals absorb in my skin and it’s so calming love it ACURE - Radically Rejuvenating Eye Cream Love this thick eye cream especially when I put it in my skin care fridge, not sure if it does more than moisturize though THE inkey LIST - Ceramide Night Treatment Nice consistency, not too heavy or light, but not sure if it does anything yet The Ordinary - 100% Plant-Derived Hemi-Squalane 2 drops at night to seal everything in, has my skin waking up glowy and non irritated ✨

glowing skin with no makeup✨
hello everyone! today i am showing you how i make my skin glow without makeup! tbh i hate posting this bc i look awful without makeup but whatever😂 sometimes we dont have the time to do makeup, but we still want to look good. so, there are ways you can do that with JUST skin care! the most important thing is to be aware of your skin type. i have excessively oily skin and acne prone skin, so i have to moisturize to prevent oil, and use products that combat acne. of course most people can use these products and get similar results☺️ the best way in my opinion to keep your skin glowing is to find the right moisturizer. everyones skin is different but EVERYONE needs moisture, especially oily people. without moisture, our skin will compensate by OVER producing oil, which can cause acne. my favorite moisturizer to use is The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA . its for all skin types and keeps my skin very hydrated. in combination with this, i use The Ordinary - Squalane Cleanser . this is also for all skin types and is really good because it doesnt strip your skin and is very moisturizing. it feels like an oil but it is oil free, and it also removes makeup! i then use The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% . this is a great affordable product. this is for all skin types, and niacinamide is a great ingredient for all skin, but it is best for acne. it reduces inflammation and can help minimize your pores appearance over time. this stuff soaks into your skin fast and feels watery! i then use Fourth Ray - Watermelon Face Milk . this is a great hydrating product to help keep moisture in the skin. it feels like milk, and they make different ones for different skin types. this one is for oily skin. by hydrating my skin, it helps prevent oil i use the moisturizer as mentioned before, and i finish off with a face spray. i ran out of my mario badescu, so now i am using Fourth Ray - Glisten Up Vitamin C Face Mist i havent used this long enough to know what its benefits are, but it feels nice😂 a face spray is a great way to let your skin shine- and this one is shimmery so it makes you glow! the last step is to be confident:) i hate not wearing makeup, but if i smile i feel like i look a lot better. make sure to know you are beautiful no matter what. dont forget to comment and cheer! #CheriePartner

Summer☀️ to Fall 🍂 skin routine!
🌞 During the summer months, my skin tends to be more dewy and hydrated - which is actually expected since we tend to experience more humidity during those times. However, my skin is still definitely more on the drier side and I need to use products that are hydrating! 💦 1. I start off using my FIRST AID BEAUTY - Pure Skin Face Cleanser and working that into my skin for about 60 seconds using gentle massaging techniques to remove any dirt. Thank you LA Beautyologist for that amazing skin care tip! Remember to pat dry and never drag the towel across your skin. 2. Next, I spritz my HERITAGE STORE - Rosewater Facial Toner onto my face and press that in with my hands. 3. I then go in my serums: starting off with the The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% letting that dry down just a bit, and then with my The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 - I apply them in this order because the formulas tend to pill when applied the other way around. Uggh 😖 4. My next step is moisturizer, and I am currently using the FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream - this moisturizer is pretty good for those with dry or sensitive skin, but its unfortunately still tends to be too harsh for around my cheek area, which is the most sensitive part of my face. Still love it though! 5. Lastly, I go in with my BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Zinc Sheer Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 PA +++ to protect my skin from any sun damage. This needs to be used all year round! 💛 While I love this routine, I do need to add some extra hydration during the colder months and this is where these 3 products come in: 1. The FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Wild Oat Hydrating Toner is great alternative to my toner because its a thicker consistency, and more hydrating & calming properties. Highly recommend for those with dry skin! 2. DRUNK ELEPHANT - Protini Polypeptide Cream is a fan favorite but this moisturizer really works wonders on my skin; I love it to combat my dryness and sensitivity. 3. The star of the show, HERBIVORE - Emerald CBD + Adaptogens Deep Moisture Glow Oil is my favorite beauty product to date! 🤩 I’ll have another post going in more detail about it, but for the sake of this review I added it in because I like to use oils directly after apply moisturizer to add an extra layer of protection and hydration during the drier months. What products do you add to your routine during the fall/winter time? Drop your comments below 💕 #CheriePartner

🌜Best products for oily-Combo Skin!🌛
Cleanser: This cleanser is amazing for oily skin it’s kinda like the Cerave SA cleanser but this on is just a bit strong than that one. Anyways this cleanser by the Inkey list has salicylic acid which if you don’t know what that ingredient is or what it does keep reading. Salicylic acid goes deep within your pores to get all of the excess oil, sebum, and dirt out of you pore so your skin can Thrive! This cleanser can be used on Oily-Combo skin. And It doesn’t have hash cleansing agents. It is such a great cleanser and it’s only $8! THE inkey LIST - Salicylic Acid Acne + Pore Cleanser Serum: This is niacinamde serum from Naturium and if you don’t know already niacinamde is great for Regulating sebum production. Which can help with your Oiliness and niacinamde is just great in general. It has many benefits like brightening the skin, calming the skin, and it can help with dark spots to. It has many other benefits but these are the main ones I know. This is also made from one of my favorite beauty youtubers her name is Susan Yara she is a mother of of two beautiful children as well. NATURIUM - Niacinamide Serum 12% Plus Zinc 2% Moisturizer: And I know I know that some people with oily skin think they don’t need a moisturizer. Because their skin already produces a lot of oil and a moisturizer is just gonna make it worse. But that’s actually not true what happens when you don’t use a moisturizer is your skin has to produce even more oil to make up for the lost of moisture. So your skin basically produces even more oil to protect your skin because your not using a moisturizer. Also not all moisturizers have to be thick there’s something called a Gel moisturizer which is very light weight and isn’t thick and heavy if you have oily skin. One of my favorite gel moisturizers is ($15) íUNIK - Centella Calming Gel Cream this product is amazing for sensitive skin! It has Niacinamde to help calm the skin of any irritation or redness. And so much plant extracts that are so beneficial for your skin! Might not be Enough moisture for combo skin though. If you do have combo skin I recommend CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin it’s an amazing product. ($11) Sunscreen: If you don’t already wear sunscreen please do! It’s the MOST important part of your skincare routine. You can literally have all of the best skin formulas but if you don’t wear sunscreen then it’s kinda wasteful. And you might be thinking “But sunscreen is so thick and heavy and always leaves a white cast on my skin!” Then you’ve probably only used drugstore sunscreen then. Not all sunscreen is thick and heavy and not all sunscreen leave white cast. So if you hate sunscreen then let me introduce you to Korean sunscreens! Korea in general is much more advanced then the USA. And I’m not suprised they have better sunscreens than us. It’s so light weight and doesn’t leave a white castPURITO - Comfy Water Sun Block

New addition to my night routine
So far I have only used this product for a little less than a week, but I am already seeing results. Of course, only time will tell if this product will make a lasting effect on my skin. The first few nights I experienced some purging, but after that, the product seems to calm any inflammation overnight. I did decide to eliminate The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%. I wasn’t loving the way it felt on my skin and couldn’t tell if it was truly doing much. I thought since my face wash CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skinand night moisturizer CeraVe - Skin Renewing Night Cream both have niacinamide that the ordinary was a bit unnecessary. We’ll see how my current PAULA'S CHOICE - 10% Azelaic Acid Boosterand PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA (Salicylic Acid) Liquid Exfoliatorcombination works. 🙏🏼🤞🏼

Cerave Restorative Magic
I just purchased this a few days ago but I have to rave about it already because just within the use of 4 consecutive nights, I have already noticed a difference! I have combination skin (oily T-zone and lately very dry cheeks) along with large pores. After doing my usual cleansing routine in the evening, I applied this and every morning, I have woken up to find that my pores look minimized and cleaner. It’s also helped with some of my fine lines. My whole face just looks revitalized! This product is patented with MVE technology, which helps with a continuous release of moisturizing ingredients for 24-hrs. It also contains hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, peptides, and of course, ceramides... all to help your skin keep hydrated while repairing your skin’s natural barrier. I’m excited to keep seeing results with this and highly recommend this for all skin types! CeraVe - Skin Renewing Night Cream

Spf✨ even on rainy days 🌧
A no make up day so I get to reapply my favorite sunblock throughout the day As well as lip balm with spf! elta md SKINCARE - UV Daily Broad-Spectrum SPF 40 I’m a fan fav and ordered the 46 spf one last night since that one is for acne prone skin I have noticed a little piling when I re apply throughout the day but this could be due to the moisturizer used underneath It claims to be a moisturizing spf so I should try to use it as so and not use moisturizer one of these days but for now I just incorporate into my moisturizer and oil combo or underneath make up COOLA - Classic Liplux Organic Lip Balm Sunscreen SPF 30 Is an extremely moisturizing lip balm that is 30spf I wouldn’t even look at something twice without at least 30spf so I’m glad this offers so much protection ,especially for my lips A great product that’s not oily and build able for smooth and moisturized lips

Thoughts on Morning Skincare Routine?
Thoughts on Morning Skincare Routine?
Hey everyone! I’m so impressed with the Cherie community and how much I’ve learned from others on this site already that I thought I would share my morning skincare routine! For context: I am a 24 year old who in the past year has struggled with moderate adult acne (only along the chin/jawline). In the past few months I have become very passionate about skincare and finding a skincare routine that works for me! Please leave any comments below if you have suggestions for me to add/replace in my routine! I am still somewhat new to the skincare community so any and all suggestions and comments are welcome!!☺️ First I cleanse with CeraVe - Acne Foaming Cream Cleanser while I am in the shower and I leave this cleanser on for about 2 minutes before washing it off. I love benzoyl peroxide because I found it is one of the only ingredients to be effective in fighting acne (salicylic acid didn’t do the trick😭). Second I follow with The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution for my daily exfoliation. I know it’s controversial to use glycolic acid in the morning but I’ve had a lot of people tell me it’s okay to do as long as you are following it up with a good moisturizer and sunscreen! I have some acne scarring (just redness) along my chin and jawline and I have found overtime this product has worked wonders to diminish those scars! Third I use 1% clindamycin which was prescribed by the doctor for my acne and it has been absolutely amazing combined with the benzoyl peroxide! Fourth I apply NATURIUM - Niacinamide Serum 12% Plus Zinc 2% I love this formulation and I use it mainly to help with the acne scarring that has occurred. Although it can be a little sticky, it gives your face a really nice glow that I just love. Fifth I apply NATURIUM - Vitamin C Super Serum Plus this product contains a cocktail of fabulous ingredients, and I find that the combination of this with the Niacinimide has just strengthened my skin. Sixth I apply one of my favorite products ever CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin This product has been a life savior as it is non-comedogenic, fragrance free, and so hydrating! Truly an incredible product! Finally I apply elta md SKINCARE - UV Clear Broad Spectrum SPF 46 I absolutely love this sunscreen because it’s formulated by dermatologists specifically for people with sensitive or acne proned skin. I absolutely love that it comes in a tinted version so it doesn’t leave a white cast, and it’s a great base for makeup! My one complaint is that it is a bit expensive for a small bottle. However, if you’re willing to pay the money it’s definitely worth it! That’s my routine! Please comment and let me know what you think/suggestions you have:)

Another Routine Update 🤔
Another Routine Update 🤔
It’s been a few weeks since starting to crack down on my routine, and unfortunately I think the amount of products I was using overwhelmed my skin again and clogged it up. I have some healing pimples on my forehead and a few on my chin, but the bulk of the spots I have are little scars. Moisturizers and serums are always a hassle for me because it seems like every other products causes congestion. I want to love The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%so badly but I can’t exactly tell if it does much for me. I stopped using The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5as well as the nightly PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA (Salicylic Acid) Liquid Exfoliatorbecause they seemed to be pushing my skin over the edge. As of now I’m testing out POND'S - Facial Moisturizers Dry Skin Cream at night to see if it breaks me out or not... I used it in the past and really liked it and so far it’s going well. Just need to use this sparingly and focus only on the areas that need hydration (my cheeks rarely break out and are super dry). In the morning I opt for the stratia - Liquid Goldmoisturizer or Eucerin - Q10 Anti-Wrinkle Sensitive Skin Lotion, SPF 15 Sunscreen So what really works? The double cleansing method of The Ordinary - Squalane Cleanser and VANICREAM - Gentle Facial Cleanser has not given me any new breakouts and leaves my skin so much less irritated than other cleansers. I only double cleanse at night and then in the mornings I will rinse with water and only wash with Vanicream if I am feeling extra sweaty/greasy. After I cleanse at night I slap on some of the niacinamide serum, then the PONDs, and top off my chin and forehead with DIFFERIN - Acne Treatment Gel. I am just starting out with Differin so I will be sure to update more! It seems that simpler is better for me.

Broke out overnight! Help please!
Broke out overnight! Help please!
My face virtually broke out like crazy overnight and I am not sure why. I’ve never had this before and i havent added anything new to my skin care routine (except the Differin Gel which I started using when I first broke out). It looks like an allergic reaction but I haven’t ate anything new or changed my diet. What is this on my face?? Anything would help, thank you so much!! (I can’t really afford a dermatologist) I attached the products I use in the AM: LA ROCHE-POSAY - Effaclar Medicated Gel Cleanser for Acne Prone Skin FARMACY - Deep Sweep Sweet CHEF - Ginger + Vitamin C Serum Shot The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA LA ROCHE-POSAY - Anthelios 50 Mineral Ultra Light Sunscreen Fluid SPF 50 PM: CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser THAYERS - Witch Hazel Astringent DIFFERIN - Acne Treatment Gel The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA

I follow the 5 step routine. Cleanse,tone,exfoliate,treat&moisterizer/spf My day time routine. Cleanser. Make sure you have a good cleanser because is is the first step in your routine. Look for a cleanser that is straight to the point. Not to over stripping and not to gentle that it does nothing. CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin I use this and it’s bomb. Straight to the point. Basic but worth it. Tone. Toners have been a game changer for me. I use HERITAGE STORE - Rosewater Aromatherapy Water Rose Petals simple. But good. Exfoliate. PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA (Salicylic Acid) Liquid Exfoliator Best product hands down. Don’t over exfoliate tho! Best for oily to acne prone skin. Although. I do not exfoliate In the morning only at night. If you exfoliate in the morning it can sensitize your skin!! The simpler the better. Treat. You can treat with serums, niacinamides, oils etc. I use The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil íUNIK - Black Snail Restore Serum Moisturizer. FIRST AID BEAUTY - Hello FAB Coconut Water Cream i use this in the morning because I have oily skin and it does control my oilyness and at night I use a thicker moisturizer for the whole night since it’s when your skin repairs it’s barrier. At night I use CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin SPF. ALWAYS PUT ON SUNSCREEN. My new favorite is from purito PURITO - Centella Green Level Unscented Sun SPF50+ love this stuff.

help with my skincare routine?
help with my skincare routine?
Hello! I’ve recently been diving into skincare and have changed my routine and I’m hoping to get some feedback on it. I’m hopefully not looking to buy any more products (unless they’re affordable), but I can definitely remove steps in my routine. For background, I’m 21 and have struggled with acne since I was a teen. However, it has gotten a lot better but I usually have a few small breakouts. I have oily/combination skin that is somewhat sensitive. I also struggle with large pores and blackheads. This routine is somewhat new so I’m not really seeing results yet and I am looking for feedback if this seems like a good routine. MORNING: First I cleanse withCOSRX - Low PH Good Morning Gel Cleanser Then I use this serumThe Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Then I moisturize with CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin And follow with this sunscreen PURITO - Centella Green Level Unscented Sun SPF50+ NIGHT: If I’m wearing makeup I oil cleanse with BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Antioxidant Cleansing Oil Then I cleanse with LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Purifying Foaming Face Wash for Oily Skin I follow with this toner Benton - Aloe BHA Skin Toner Then I use either The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 10% + HAOR SOME BY MI - AHA-BHA-PHA 30 Days Miracle Serum I then use COSRX - Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence And finally I finish with CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin Any feedback is very much appreciated! I’m mostly stuck on my nighttime skincare regarding the order and which treatments I should be using. Thanks!
