This was recommended to me by my aesthetician. Little pricey, but it did wonders for my skin. Because of the price I decided to try something different for now, but I will be going back once I run out of my current cleanser. After two months of using, I had no acne- just scarring and hyperpigmentation. Drawback is that there is some essential oils in it (skin irritant, clogs pores) but they’re at a low concentration and didn’t effect my skin. Very natural ingredients as well.
EMINENCE-Clear Skin Probiotic Cleanser
BIG SKIN CARE NO-NOs (that I used to do)
At the time, I had deep cystic acne that I would do anything to get rid of. Here are some things I thought were helping, but in reality made it worse: - LA ROCHE-POSAY - Effaclar Medicated Gel Cleanser for Acne Prone Skin *this product tends to be overly drying which can cause over-production of oil and clog pores. - using hand soap as face wash *I thought this made it better because the Effaclar wash actually made my skin worse, this just did less damage. - Lemon Juice *I heard this would get rid of scarring and used it A LOT. To my dismay, not only does it create bacteria because it isn’t formulated in a lab, but it’s extremely irritating to the skin and can unbalance the skins natural pH levels. - I didn’t moisturize *Hydration is important for the skin because without it your skin will try to over compensate for the dryness. This creates excess oil, clogs pores, and creates breakouts. - Coconut Oil * This also clogs pores! -Straight Strawberries on Face *This has so much bacteria on it, skin care products are formulated in labs specifically so you don’t have this issue. -Didn’t wear sunscreen *I thought I didn’t burn and that the sun would make my scarring go away. Spoiler, it makes it so much worse! WEAR SUNSCREEN!

CeraVe - Resurfacing Retinol Serum *I just started this product and haven’t formed an opinion yet - worried about it overly drying my face - I’ve been using this product for a week and there has been no drying. The stubborn pimples that wouldn’t got away went away quickly. Cetaphil - Moisturizing Lotion * I wish it was a little thicker. I pair it with Aloe Vera for extra moisture. CeraVe - Mineral Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50 Face Lotion with Zinc Oxide *not my favorite, hope to try something else when I use it up. Lots of white cast and oily. CeraVe - Renewing SA Cleanser For Normal Skin * I (hopefully) am almost done purging from this product. This is normal with this because of the ingredients in it- I just need to be patient. GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Cleanser & Makeup Remover *apparently there’s fragrance in this which isn’t good, but it gets my makeup off and the grease from work- does it’s job PAULA'S CHOICE - SKIN PERFECTING 2% BHA LIQUID EXFOLIANT *had to give this a second go because I didn’t realize that purging is natural because of the ingredients in it. Liking my experience so far. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% *I introduced this product at the same time as others and my skin freaked out, took a step back and now it works great. Noticing a difference in my hyperpigmentation. The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution *loved this product at first - made my skin super soft - but now I’m not sure what it’s doing. ONLY USE FOR TEN MINUTES AND NO MORE THAN EVERY OTHER DAY. Fruit of the Earth - Aloe Vera 100% Gel *Just a basic, cheap aloe vera to help with moisture and soothe inflammation. #Good Neighbor Pharmacy - Calamine Lotion Suspension USP[products]# *I leave this on while I sleep, feel like it helps keep in the other products I use. Helps regulate oiliness. Can be found at your local drug store.
