Review my routine (dry/sensitive skin)
Morning cleanser: I normally wash my face with warm water in the morning because my skin is so dry. But LA has been getting pretty hot lately so I started using Glossier. - Milky Jelly Cleanser in the morning. It smells pretty nice and gets the job done. It's very gentle as well. mousturizer: I wrote about CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin a while back and it's still one of my favorites! The packaging is not ideal but I love its whipped cream texture. It's very light but also moisturizing. I've been in love with this cream! 🥰 sunscreen: I recently discovered elta md SKINCARE - UV Clear Broad Spectrum SPF 46 I prefer physical sunscreen because it's less stimulating and safer for sensitive skin. This sunscreen meets all of my requirements- it's light, moisturizing, safe for sensitive skin, and doesn't give this icky oily feel. Night cleanser: I have been a big fan of boscia - Purifying Cleansing Gel it's amino acid-based and smells AMAZING! I normally avoid fragrance in skincare products but since face wash only stays on your skin for a few seconds it should be fine :) I've been using this cleanser for years. 😍 toner: I got COSRX - BHA Blackhead Power Liquid as a sample after I ran out of my last bottle of PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA (Salicylic Acid) Liquid Exfoliator I'd like to apply it in my t-zone to minimize pores. I'm not very familiar with COSRX. But the fact that their label doesn't explicitly say BHA% kind of bothers me. serum: right now I'm rotating between 3 products 1. The Ordinary - ''Buffet'' 2. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% 3. SkinMedica - LYTERA 2.0 Pigment Correcting Serum(the product I'm using has been discontinued and this is the upgraded version) Out of the three, my favorite is skinmedica. I know it's pricey, but after several weeks my dark spots actually started fading and no other beauty products have done that for me. If you know a good dupe for this, please let me know! I'm also looking for a good summer face mask - what do you recommend?
My home wellness corner
Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy at home! I've been working at home and spending A LOT of time sitting at my desk. I created this mini wellness corner on my desk to keep me calm and every time I look at it it makes me feel so happy 🤩 SOL de Janeiro - Brazilian Bum Bum Cream I got this one as a sample and it smells amazing! I use it as hand cream and it gets the job done. Wish it was more moisturizing but I've got multiple hand cream products here😝 REN CLEAN SKINCARE - Rose O12 Moisture Defence Oil I bought this face oil a looonngggg time ago and I'm pretty sure it's expired already. I feel bad just throwing it away so I've been using it on my hands. Probably won't buy it again since I've found a better rosehip oil from the ordinary. billie - Super Salve this is a part of billie's new skincare line. It's a hydrating lip balm with interesting flavors (mine is parsley😉) and many healthy oils (sunflower oil, avocado oil, etc). I've been using it everyday and it works great! Maybe I'll try the other colored ones next time. Jo Malone - Peony & Blush Suede Body Crème Oh Jo malone, I wish I could love you. I know a lot of people like their peony fragrance but this body creme smells way too strong and it even gives me headache sometimes. Definitely won't buy again 👎 Candle is from P.F.Candle Co. It's their sunset series. This one is called "swell" and it's pretty swell indeed. 🥰

Beautiful, intoxicating rose perfume
I've always enjoyed simple, straightforward, clean scents. EDITIONS DE PARFUMS FREDERIC MALLE - UNE ROSE is a very good rose perfume. What does it smell like? A summer rose garden 😉 It's long lasting (well it also comes with a price tag). If you are looking for a sophisticated perfume with multiple layers of notes, this one is probably not for you. But if you are a rose scent lover, this one is a must have!

Amazing physical sunscreen for sensitive skin
I've been using TOPIX - Replenix Sheer Physical Sunscreen Cream SPF 50+ during this winter and it's perfect for my sensitive, dry skin. I live in LA and sunscreen is essential to me. But good sunscreens are hard to come by, especially after I found out through my dermatologist that I actually have sensitive skin and should avoid chemical sunscreens😫 This product is moisturizing and has a bunch of antioxidants (green tea polyphenols, vitamin C, Co-Q10). The main active ingredient is zinc oxide 13.75% which makes it safe for sensitive skin. It's got this cream cheese texture which is thick but it's also easy to apply. I do think some people might feel the texture is too thick and heavy. I have dry skin so this texture doesn't bother me as much. If you are looking for a moisturizing physical sunscreen, this product could be a good choice!

Beauty tips from my dermatologist
I recently went to see my dermatologist, Dr.Parrish Sadeghi in Santa Monica. She gave me some helpful beauty tips. Apparently the secret to having good, healthy skin is very simple - less is more. I have sensitive skin and if you read some of my earlier posts you know I use A LOT of products. Dr. Sadeghi told me to get rid of all of them because I don't need them 😫 "all of those (beauty) brands do a great job at marketing to you and making you believe you need their products to look good. It keeps me in business but to be honest we dermatologists never buy those products, unless it has scientifically proven ingredients such as retinol." Here are her tips for restoring balance for my sensitive skin: 1. Wash my face with CeraVe - Hydrating Face Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skin it's a simple, hydrating, fragrance-free face wash. She also recommends replacing my body wash with this cleanser. My body gets dry and itchy in winter and after I started using this cleanser for shower my body no longer feels dry! 2. Stop using anything with acid on my skin, except for hylauronic acid since it's not really an acid 3. Moisturize with CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin This large jar costs less than $20 and I can say it works better than any of my other $50-$100 moisturizers! I have a red circle on right cheek. It looks like a small scar and it's been there for quite some time. I've tried so many serums and moisturizers but nothing seemed to work. Then I started using CeraVe twice a day and within a few weeks I could barely see the red spot any more! 4. Wear physical sunscreen every day. Your sunscreen should have zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. I will talk about her sunscreen recommendations in another post😝 Looks like this holiday season I'm going to be saving a lot of money. CeraVe is my new best friend🙌😍

BRAND SPOTLIGHT: GLOSSIER
Glossier is a brand that I’ve always admired. Their marketing is truly amazing and there’s no other fanbase so dedicated to one brand. With that said, they have come out with some great products and some that leave me disappointed. The Hits: Glossier. - Generation G in Like, Jam, Leo & Cake I love this lipstick. I have gone through 2 tubes of the shade Like and 1 tube of the shade Jam. It’s beautiful on the lips, slips on easily, and doesn’t dry them out despite being a soft matte formula. Glossier. - Cloud Paint in Storm, Dawn, Puff, Dusk & Haze If you love the watercolor blush look, this is the one for you. It’s a super lightweight and thin formula that blends in seamlessly into the skin. It meshes really well whether or not you have foundation underneath and the finish is undetectable on the skin! The shade Dusk also doubles as a warm-toned bronzer! Glossier. - Vinylic Lip in Pony & Bank If you’re looking for glossy, pigmented color, these Vinylic Lips will definitely impress you! Not only are they long-lasting, they leave a stain on your lips once the gloss wears off so you’re never left without color! It’s not sticky and leaves a decent amount of shine- it’s my lip gloss dream! (Hint: Glossier Vinylic Lip > Glossier Lip Gloss) Honorable mentions that aren’t pictured (AKA products I ran out of and haven’t had time to repurchase): - Boy Brow Adds volume, color and small fibers to thicken the brows for a natural, bushy look! - Brow Flick Perfect for natural brow days where I want to pinpoint the areas in my brows to add a few strokes of brow hairs! - Lash Slick The only way to get “lash extensions” without getting them! This adds lots of length and a bit of volume- it also never smudges on me! - Stretch Concealer My no-makeup makeup day ESSENTIAL. I seriously have to pick up another! It adds coverage and looks just. like. skin! The Misses: Glossier. - Colorslide technogel eye pencil in Disaster Class & Stable Relationship It’s such a shame I don’t like these because the color range is so unique and fun. The formula is just way too hard and it tugs on my eye area (which I cannot tolerate)! If these were creamier, I’d buy literally all the shades. Glossier. - Lidstar in Fawn & Cub These aren’t the worst that I’ve tried from Glossier, but I’ve tried better from other brands. These liquid eyeshadows look promising when you first swatch them with the applicator but once you take a brush or your finger to blend, it blends away into nothing. It just looks like a faded pile of shimmer on the lids. It only works if you apply it with the applicator, leave it alone and don’t try to touch it! Glossier. - Glossier. Lip Gloss in Clear This gloss looks beautiful but it’s sticky and feels thick. No matter how thin of a layer I apply, it’s uncomfortable and drying! It’s beautiful for editorial photos though!

Here is my get ready with me look all the products I use everday because I’m so obsessed with how amazing they look and feel on my skin. I know I always share my natural looks but I really do love a natural look with that glow up I also love bold looks to and will be doing one with my morphe eyeshadow pallet I can’t wait, I did a video a little ago on all the pretty colors and I’ll mix them together for that pop of a look to your eyes and New Year’s Eve makeup look. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your loved ones and I can’t wait to see what this New Year bring for us all 😊❣️✨ -my first step before I use foundation is KYLIE COSMETICS - Face primer it really sets the tone to your makeup and foundation leaving a natural glow with it. After I use primer I use my all time favorite foundation I’m so glad I found DIOR - Backstage Face & Body Foundation it matches my skin store and doesn’t dry out my skin everything looks even and fresh and well blended. Eyelashes.. I use the great benefit - They’re Real! Lengthening & Volumizing Mascara for a great volume to your lashes you don’t even have to curl them it already gives that volume right when you put it on to be honest I love to mix it with tarte - Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara so my lashes don’t look clumpy this mascara evens it out and makes them long and pretty without the clump so remember to apply either one or both mascaras a little so your lashes don’t build up on clump. For brows i use benefit - Gimme Brow+ Volumizing Eyebrow Gel keeps my brow hairs in place and adds to them with a natural color and filling it all in I use a little for a touch up and it still looks good. Then I use blush to rose my cheeks using tarte - Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush this blush is amazing and last all day long the pop to your cheeks is never ending witch I love a long wear blush. After blush I glow up with my illuminator the Balm cosmetics - Mary-Dew Manizer Liquid Highlighter this liquid highlighter is so awesome I love how bright it looks on your skin leaving that natural tone to your skin and I use wet n wild - Megaglo Loose Highlighting Powder to bronze my cheeks you would only need a little to add to your brush little goes long way and it really pops onto your skin so I put some on my cheeks bones , forehead and a little to my nose. Then is use e.l.f. - Eyelash Curler I know this curler might have mixed reviews but I personally like it when I curl my lashes to give a extra volume to them they really bring it out witch I love and I love my e.l.f. - 3 Piece Lip Balm Set these 3 colors are my favorite I love the tones and they feel hydrating The i use GARNIER - SkinActive Soothing Facial Mist with Rose Water

Spray for Curls
My husband has blonde curly hair which he would not cut for a year! It was his 2019 new years resolution. :-( He also will not put product in his hair. This curl spray made it easy for my to chase him around (when I say chase I mean like jumping over couches and all!), spray his hair, tame his crazy curls and not want to divorce him!
