2-week update: Tropic Isle Castor Oil
Please excuse my messy eyebrows! I’ve been on a multiple-year-long search to grow my lashes longer and thicker with not much luck. I’ve tried Vaseline, which did help my lashes grow a bit longer but then it stopped working, or at least I stopped trying. I then turned to some cold-pressed castor oil I got from a cheap shop. That didn’t work much. I’ve tried putting caffeine serum on my lashes and I haven’t had much luck. So now I’m putting TROPIC ISLE LIVING - Jamaican Black Castor Oil

gayngelI see it on your brows... all of the little baby hairs growing in. It makes them seem a touch darker, too! I’ve been doing the same thing on my brows and lashes for about a month and am noticing similar results. Some brow growth, not much on my lashes. For $6, I’ll take it!

castor oil 4 week update
This is week 4 of my eyelash and eyebrow growth with TROPIC ISLE LIVING - Jamaican Black Castor Oil . Like I said in my last post, this journey is gonna take time, but already my lashes are staying in longer and they feel super hydrated and soft! I’ve started using my homemade rosemary oil as well, since rosemary is supposedly good for hair growth! Hopefully I’ll start to see some changes soon!
CBD? In a natural deodorant? 💚
Over the past year and a half I’ve been trying to find more natural deodorant options that work for me. So far I’ve tried Schmidt’s, Native, Kopari, LaVanila, and Type: A. In the past I had tried the original Kopari deodorant and liked it which is why I was so excited when they came out with the KOPARI - CBD Deodorant . I’ve also been trying a bunch of CBD products lately so this seemed to be the best of both worlds. This deodorant retails $18 for 2 oz (let me say I would not pay full price for this. I think $18 for a deodorant is insane. I ended up getting mine on sale for half off and I’ve seen it on sale a lot lately). Kopari claims this clean, extra strength deodorant helps combat order causing bacteria while soothing the delicate underarm skin. It is also vegan, aluminum free, and baking soda free. Like I said above I think this is extremely over priced for what it is. That being said I do still really like it. The coconut oil/coconut water/sage oil/CBD base helps the deodorant glide onto the skin (it feels almost like those blue gel deodorants). I’ve seen friends experience burns from natural deodorant before and Kopari is a brand I’ve never experienced that from. As far as deodorants go it is one of the most gentle and soothing brands I’ve experienced. They claim the formula is clear which I do find to be true. I’ve yet to get any sticky, white deodorant residue stains on any of my work clothes which I find a win. It does have a light, pleasant herbal scent to it which you can smell when applied. I’m not usually a fan of herbal scents but I do really enjoy this one. I find depending on the day at work this works pretty well. If it’s a busy day I can get a tiny bit sweaty but nothing another roll of my deodorant can’t fix. On days where I’m not running around this usually lasts me my whole shift no problem. I think it does a pretty good job at preventing me from stinking throughout the day. I think if you can find it on sale it’s worth trying.

“COOKIE” MIRACLE! For $2.19!
TRUST ME YOU WANT TO READ THIS 🙌🏼 Okay so I know this isn’t a normal post lol but I totally believe that this counts as a beauty product 😏 THESE ARE THE SHIZZ!! No joke these are a Christmas Miracle. It’s like next level the best. I spotted these at Target for $2.19! So of course I had to try them. I’ve never liked summers eve or any type of feminine wash, so I was shocked when I loved them. I don’t care who you are, our cookies have a smell to them. If you’re saying to yourself “umm no not mine”, well then I’m here to call you out. 😘 with love of course! But I know that wether it’s mild, extreme, or inbetween there is definitely a smell. 😂 These are Hypoallergenic, ph-balanced, plant-based & 100% biodegradable feminine wipes. You can flush these bad boys 🙌🏼 They have so many different fragrances, I love the sensual and rose one :) this just honestly makes me more comfortable when I’m being intimate, and especially after the gym if I don’t have time to shower. They come in these cute little packets, you can stick one in your purse or make up bag. They also have ones that come in like a baby wipe box. I use both. I literally buy like 5 boxes at a time. The obsession is too real! These are great for: that time of the month after the gym or any physical activity before and after a date if ya know what I mean lol 😉 (The box totally says this plus a “you go girl” haha) if you live in Vegas or according to the box anywhere down south in July haha whenever you feel like your ph is off balance or just whenever you want to!! Trust me like the box says you will become a VAGENIUS!! I hope you love them too!!! You won’t regret it. You can’t go wrong for at least trying it. And for $2.19 it’s a steal. 💞
Anyone heard of this ✨𝑎𝑚𝑎𝑧𝑖𝑛𝑔✨ Oil?!
So, I can exactly remember how I found this oil, but I think someone gave it to me. For about every day since, I’ve been putting a little bit on my nails and cuticles, and it really helped my nails grow. I’ve hardly gotten any hangnails too. My nails were also really damaged from gel and acrylic, and it’s helping them recover. This oil can be used for hair, body, or nails. It’s not a face serum though, and I’ve only used it for my nails :) Really recommend for those with damaged nails 💕 PROVENCE BEAUTY - Multi-Use Oil Peony

HIKI is for everybody
The pandemic has caused disruptions for many of us. Vegan and cruelty free, HIKI was just minutes away from launching when these disruptions interrupted their initial plans. The brand decided to place a hold on their launch out of respect for all the uncertainties. It wasn’t an easy decision, but it was done in good taste! In exchange, they decided to offer front line workers, from surgeon to janitors, free personal care items. They also ran a social media campaign to offer products to anyone else in exchange for posting about how they were doing. Their goal was to encourage others through honesty and compassion. HIKI is for EVERY BODY. This brand is all about self acceptance and finding empowerment through self-love and self-care. Their journey to launch is a remarkable one. Because HIKI deodorant is all natural, your body might need to adjust to the lack of chemicals that are typically found in most commercial deodorants. Their website has a very well written, in-depth article on just what you need to do to give your body the grace it needs to make the adjustment! I’m currently using their deodorant in the scent Fresh Wood. It reminds me of mid-summer, late night bonfires! HIKI - Fresh Wood Deodorant
