just a skincare lover always trying to find my next holy grail 👏
🌊Ocean sea glass vibes🌊
One of my favorite green shades in my dip collection is this soft earthy green. Revel nails eucalyptus pairs great with My amazonite bracelet I got for Christmas. The accent nail is eucalyptus layered with chic a confetti glitter with cool greens and blues and a little yellow sparkles.
Trying my HAND at a French mani
First time trying to do a French mani and honestly it’s not all that bad for a first try! Took me less than 20 mins not including filing time. The colors I used to achieve this look were revel nail’s scarlet and nailboo’s heres a tip.
Back to fall nails🍁🍂🌾
Now that Christmas is over it’s back to the fall nails for me. I am not much for winter colors so I enjoy making the fall manis last from fall to spring. I did this mani inspired by fall leaves and weather but now that I’m looking at it I feel it more is inspired by the classic crayola crayons... oops. Well I still love all the colors and think this is a fun look✨ the colors I’m using are dip powders by revel nails in Acorn, Cornstalk, Tender, Flannel, Tiara, and spice. (The deodorant is because my friends and I try to use the most random props for our nail pictures😂)
Untraditional Christmas mani
I am not a big fan of the bright red, sparkly green, and gold nails for Christmas and I know I’m not the only one. I instead went with this lovely shade from revel nail called “bubbly”. Normally a topcoat, it makes a stunning stand alone look. It reminds me of glistening snow and thus is the perfect untraditional Christmas mani✨ What is everyone else doing? Do you like traditional or untraditional Christmas manis better?
Covid hobby: dip nail powders!
This Covid year has been one where we discover new things about ourselves. Some it’s baking bread, others it’s painting and crafts, but mine, I discovered is dip powder nails. I find it so relaxing as I go through all the steps and file and file and file some more. I’m terrible at nail polish but it turns out I’m pretty ok at dip powder! I highly suggest giving it a try because it has a gel finish, lasts up to 3 to 5 weeks, doesn’t chip, and strengthens your natural nails. My nails used to break constantly and I always had short nails. These protect them and I’ve actually begun seeing length. The brand I use is revel nail dip powder. And the colors I used were hot cocoa holiday collection and the color acorn on my middle finger. If you’ve used these before let me know if you have any advice I’m a beginner and love learning new things!
💫Silly George lash serum 7 week update!🎉
All I can say is wow! If this is my first post you’ve seen, hi! I’m Kayla and I was trying out the silly George lash serum for 6 weeks. On their website they state that it takes about 6 weeks with constant day and night use to see a dramatic difference. Well, I’m a bit late on uploading because of the state of Oregon where I live. You know... with the fires and evacuation and all. But I’m finally able to “SILLY GEORGE - Lash Growth Serum MAYBELLINE - Total Temptation Mascara complete” this challenge. First off: I am VERY impressed by my results. No they don’t necessarily look like false lashes but they are thicker and a lot fuller! They even seem to be darker now, too. I feel confident now even when I don’t wear mascara because they naturally curl up all the time as though they’re crimped. I kinda feel like a Disney Princess, not gunna lie ❤️ Pro’s: Well I mean... just look at them! The serum really works and you can’t convince me otherwise. I first noticed a change as early as week 2 and by week 5 I was pretty happy with my results. By week 7 I’m blown away! So it works quickly and makes an impact. Con’s: When I first started to get growth the new hairs grew in very blond and I was aware that some lash serum scan even change your eye color. Thankfully, I saw no difference to my green eyes and my lashes have now gotten darker and now actually seem darker than before I started using this serum! Conclusion: I had so much fun doing this experiment and it makes me happy that I was able to document and actually see my progress. Getting to share my journey on Cherie helped me to remember to keep applying it because I didn’t want to mess up my experiment. I love the silly George serum and definitely recommend it to anyone who feels their lashes need a boost. I’m beyond thrilled with my results and will continue to use this product. I’m thinking of doing monthly updates as I continue with my journey. ✨ Let me know if you tried this and how it went for you!

This is so cool! 😍
This is so cool! 😍 Let me explain this magic! My nail is covered with ' Ice Flower Liquid System ' (it's not cured yet!) and then I'm gently adding tiny drops of Ice Flower Liquid to create a snowflake/flower effect 😍 it works similar to Blossom Halo Dye or Blooming gels 🤗 All products are from rosalind 🤗
Favorite hydrating toner empty!
ETUDE - SoonJung pH 5.5 Relief Toner I got this on a trip in China and I’ve been in love ever since. It’s a relief toner that’s supposed to hydrate and soothe the skin. The Soon Jung line is made for sensitive skin so this is free to use for anyone. This is such a great toner that won’t inflame or make anything worse. It hydrates so well and peeps the skin for everything else in my routine. It’s soothing and hydrating at the same time and it sinks in very fast. It’s the consistency of water 💦 so just like a normal toner. This has helped me so much with prepping my skin and keeping it moist. I use this almost every night after cleansing. It’s really cheap and I’ve already got another (bigger) bottle on the way! Recommending this to anyone looking for a simple hydrating toner!

French twist ✨yes or no?
French twist ✨yes or no? Super easy and quick to do 🥰let me tell you that I struggle a little bit because I do have thick hair and my head looks huge if I don’t tight the twist enough 😅 but if you have less hair that mine that won’t be an issue and it will look amazing 😘/
Lash growth journey
So I have what you’d call: Sad lashes. Short and stubby if you will. I used to have lashes people would stop me for and ask if they were real because they were naturally long and full. What happened you may ask? Strip lashes. My dumb butt really thought it wouldn’t happen to me the way it happens to so many. So this is going to be a blog on the journey my lashes will take over the next 6 weeks. I did research and came across a lash serum that’s supposed to be the best for a affordable price. Silly George lash serum is supposed to make a dramatic difference by week 6 with constant day and night use. I added pictures of the product and also my lashes with and without mascara to see the sadness of which they have become. This is a controlled test photo before I even started the serum use.
