Milk makeup, is it worth it?

Over the past couple years I’ve really wanted to try out milk makeup and I thought the brands aesthetic was so pretty/ minimal. It’s perfect for a quick on the go person or someone who wants to look glam. Hydro grip primer, this is really good. It has become of my fave ones to use. It provides a great base for my foundation or even for my bb cream. It’s feel kinda like gel but not thick. Spreads easily and has a slight tackiness, also leaves my skin moisturized. The only downside is the smell, it’s kinda like a plastic/agave scent mixed together. The scent does fade which is great so it doesn’t linger around. $30 for 1.52 oz and $15 for 0.33 oz Milk MAKEUP - Hydro Grip Primer
Kush mascara, this one is in my top 5 fave ones to use. The bristles coat my lashes nicely and make them appear thicker. Doesn’t have a strong scent. When I apply them to my bottom lashes they don’t smudge onto my skin. $24 for 0.34 oz/10 ml and $12 for 0.13 oz/4 ml Milk MAKEUP - KUSH High Volume Mascara
Tattoo stamp in star, it’s super cute! I’ve had this well over a year and it’s still pretty pigmented. I use this on my lids, cheeks and anywhere on my face to give me that cute vibe. It lasts all day and hasn’t smudged on me. $12 and they come in lots of designs. Milk MAKEUP - Tattoo Stamp
Kush lip balm in plushberry, it’s a sheer berry color. Moisturizes my lips and gives them a super cute tint. I’m definitely more into sheer colors and glosses. It has a slight minty scent to it that I love. $16 for 3g Milk MAKEUP - Kush Lip Balm
Kush clear brow gel, it sets my brows nicely but it isn’t a strong hold. It’s more of medium. Doesn’t have a distinct smell which is good. $20 which is pretty expensive. Milk MAKEUP - KUSH Clear Brow Gel
Holographic stick in supernova, I really like this. It pretty creamy and I like applying this with my fingers. Looks super cute as an eyeshadow as well. It’s more of a duochrome. It has a purple/blueish shift. I wish it had a bit more pigment in it. Currently on sale at Sephora for $18 for the full size 1 oz/28 g. Mini size $15 for 0.25 oz/7.1 g Milk MAKEUP - Holographic Stick
Watermelon brightening serum, this was ok. Wasn’t my favorite. It feels nice on the skin, kinda moisturizing but I didn’t see any brightening effect. $36 for 1.2 oz/ 34g and $18 for 0.22 oz/ 6.25 g. Personally not worth the money. Milk MAKEUP - Watermelon Brightening Serum
Cooling water stick, same as the watermelon serum and this wasn’t my favorite. Yes it moisturized a little bit but I saw no difference in my skin. Too expensive to buy and not worth the money for me. If you have the money for an overpriced “serum” go ahead and get this but just save your money for something else. Milk MAKEUP - Cooling Water
Blur stick definitely not worth it. Bunched up too much. Milk MAKEUP - Blur Stick

My favorite solid tinted moisturizers that every girl must have!!
When we mentioned base makeup, having a natural, perfect look is what we are constantly looking for. Balmy autumn days make our mood better but keeping our face moisturizing is still really important. The new wave of solid tinted moisturisers, are ideal, which both protect your skin without flaw but also give you a natural base makeup. What we love about them most, is the beautiful, natural finish they give, for the days you want a to look low key, or barely have to do anything. Here, are two of the best solid tinted moisturizers that I do recommend to you during autumn and winter seasons. Milk MAKEUP - Blur Stick I have an oily t-zone with (what I feel are) large pores. For me, this genuinely blurs more pores. I don't look poreLESS, but I see a significant improvement and that makes me happy. I use this over my t-zone and i blend it out a bit with my fingers after application. Perhaps this is a bit overpriced, but the full-sized stick is a huge stick, and can be used for a longtime, so that becomes more cost-efficient. In name at least, this warrants a mention. It’s pigment free, so comes in one shade. In some ways, it’s difficult to know if it truly does anything at all. But then in other ways, you look in the mirror whilst wearing it and see an angel staring back. Make of that what you will. NUDESTIX - Nudies Tinted Blur Stick This product has a slightly harder and waxier texture than the Milk, but once warmed with fingers it can be melted into skin for a stunningly dewy finish. It is also all organic and chemical free. It’s very blurring like the name suggests but it also evens out the skin. It’s really lightweight and sheer but you can build up the coverage without a problem. This foundation honestly made my skin look very healthy and dewy and I adore it. It lasts a long time on the skin, even when I sweat. This solid tinted moisturizer also gives the look of a tinted primer, but can be applied in seconds. It feels fairly silicone to the touch, but is incredibly lightweight on the skin.

Flawless Face Canvas Primer Must Have!
Ever found a product you didn’t know you needed until you found it? Well this is one of those unexpected beauty products I instantly became obsessed with when it was given this product as a gift. The Blur Stick is used as a matte primer but it can also be used as a highlighter for the cheeks and eyes. I love a product that can be used for more than one purpose and this one did it for me. Milk Makeup Blur Stick: Is It Worth It? When you’re on the hunt for a perfect primer to conceal pores, blemishes, and other uneven spots, and create a perfect starting base before doing your makeup, Milk’s Blur Stick is definitely worth the hype. It basically eliminates the appearance of pores totally without clogging them, conceals uneven marks and skin tone, helps balance texture, and creates the perfect base canvas to begin a makeup application. I noticed when using it that makeup lasted longer throughout the day, stayed in place for longer with less smudges and spilling, and generally appeared more radiant and even after using Blur Stick. Because I like a glow and dewy look for my makeup the best part was that it added a glow to my skin before adding my foundation however it can also be used alone for a luminous glow to the skin without makeup. For those who are prone to more oily or combination skin, Blur Stick also helps with shine control and preventing oily patches which can lead to smudging or the need for more powder during the day. It’s also lightweight, gentle, and formulated with natural and nourishing ingredients that won’t clog your pores or break you out. Milk MAKEUP - Blur Stick

KUSH stash bag set products RANKED: Last place: Milk MAKEUP - Cooling Water I just don’t really feel like this stick is doing anything? I even put it in the fridge for extra cooling powers 🥶 and still 🤷‍♀️ Almost last: Milk MAKEUP - Cooling Water Eye Patches These are just OKAY 😐 they are slightly cooling and I do enjoy going about my morning business with some eye patches on like a fancy heiress 👸🏻 BUT no visible results in my experience Middle of the pack: Milk MAKEUP - Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil Hydrating Face Mask Very easy to apply, glides on real smooth and nothing says “I’m serious about skincare” like a full face of GREEN 🐸 I feared it would be drying but it does deliver on hydration 💦 skin afterwards is overall plump and moist (ugh that word) Runner up (get the flower bouquet 💐): Milk MAKEUP - KUSH High Volume Mascara Volume! No clumps! LOVE ❤️ the brush and now it’s one of my regular rotation mascaras. The price for the full size is a bit steep but PRO TIP 🤫 the mini is the perfect amount of product that you will actually use it ALL before it gets all dry and gross. WINNER (tiara time 👑): Milk MAKEUP - Kush Lip Balm I can’t say enough about this stuff. It’s SO SO SO hydrating. Not at all sticky or goopy, feels like it is healing your lips and lasts longer than any other lip balm I’ve tried. Even in CANADIAN 🍁 WINTER keep my lips lovely 👄

☀️ summer to FALL🍁 skin
as the temperature cools and the air gets drier, my morning skincare has two new additions! NEW to my skincare family are! Murad - Nutrient-Charged Water Gel an extra dose of moisturizer before my SPF containing moisturizer that is oil free and super hydrating. I like using two moisturizers when the air gets drier outside. This lil baby is also a cool pink color DRUNK ELEPHANT - Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil as a last skin step and a pre makeup step, i use a few drops of oil on the parts of my face that need it. it helps lock in the ingredients of my moisturizer so that the moisturizer stays in my skin. This is pricey, but there are other, cheaper oils out there. my skin type: oily and acne prone, tan The other family members: cleanser TATCHA - The Deep Cleanse Exfoliating Cleanser A splurge, but a pretty good cleanser for gentle exfoliation. Its not perfect, but i do think my skin is less oily with this cleanser treatment SEPHORA COLLECTION - Clear Skin Days by Clarifying Serum The BEST product sephora ever came out with. 1.72 fluid oz of acne killing salicylic acid with skin loving hyaluronic acid. 11/10 Murad - Invisiscar Resurfacing Treatment a post acne treatment that fills in scars and reduces their texture and discoloration. i may get this big size because this one is so great! moisturizer dermalogica - Clear Start Oil Clearing Matte Moisturizer SPF 15 a creamy oil free moisturizer with SPF and mattifying benefits. This is my second tube! eyes Milk MAKEUP - Cooling Water This and the Matcha toner are Milk’s best skin products. I use this on my upper and lower eyes for depuffing boscia - Indigo Eye Cream a new addition to my eye routine — the lavender pigment brightens and the long term benefits are excellend

Fresh and glowy stack✨
A few products that I’ve been enjoying that give my skin a glow! The florence by mills - Zero Chill Face Mist is one of my favorite facial sprays because it’s so refreshing with a fine mist. Plus it’s pretty affordable! I’ve been using the CLEAN SKIN CLUB - Vitamin C Brightening Booster and I like the consistency of this serum for the AM. It’s light and sinks in into the skin well. Two highlighters that give a purple sheen to the skin that I’ve been liking are the Milk MAKEUP - Holographic Stick and LUNA by LUNA - LUNA by LUNA Highlighter . The Holographic Stick doesn’t move my foundation when applied by tapping with my fingers on my cheekbones, and gives a nice sheen. The Luna highlighter is such a unique, cool-toned shade; like a purple taupe and I love it!

All seasons look
This is go-to natural makeup look for any season- its great because it could a summer look or a fall look! The subtle holographic highlighter Milk MAKEUP - Holographic Stick is the key to making this look glowy and dewy- my summer fave- and the Too Faced - Sun Bunny Natural Bronzer bronzer warms the look- my fall fave. Tip: pack on the bronzer in areas where you would normally contour; as I skip contour, thats my key to make my look really nice and tanned-looking. I also love the soft pink lip, I think it goes well for all seasons because of my medium skin tone. I like using the liquid lipstick and topping it off with a lipstick to freshen up the look throughout the day ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - ANASTASIA Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Anastasia Matte Lipstick

This Is The End Friend - Chucky
So excited to be showing this spooky Halloween Look that I did! Chucky is obviously a classic and definitely frightened me as a kid, take this as me reclaiming that fear lol. I made my own scar wax to do this, followed a video online where all you’d need is flour and Vaseline. I’ll be honest it’s a tedious process but the end result as you can see is worth it. I felt perfectly creepy in this, if I’m being honest it came out way better than I hoped. Sfx Makeup is an area that I would love to get better at, and I’m glad to see growth in this look. I bought fake blood and liquid latex from Walmart, I don’t have a full sfx kit yet. But I did also use Milk Makeup products for my base, and if you follow me on here you definitely know how much I love the Milk brand. Must-Have Products from Sephora and Ulta 🌟
We all have some beauty products that become hard to go without once we’ve tried them! Some of my beauty staples include skincare products to prep my skin and a high-hold hairspray so my hairstyle lasts all day. Here are my favorite products from Sephora and Ulta! Milk MAKEUP - Hydro Grip Primer This is my go-to primer when I want my makeup to last all day long! It hydrates my skin without turning my face into an oil slick, and it has a slightly tacky feel that grips onto my foundation, just like it says. FENTY BEAUTY - Pro Filt'r Hydrating Longwear Foundation I prefer the hydrating formula of the Fenty Foundation over the original formula, which I thought was too matte for me, even with my oily/combo skin. This foundation blends out really nicely to a natural-looking satin finish, and I can easily layer setting powder over it without making my base look cakey or patchy. The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution This chemical exfoliant is a cult classic for a reason: It’s effective, looks cool, and costs less than $8! I love using it on Sunday nights as a weekly reset for my face. If you follow the instructions (leave on for 10 minutes and don’t use it more than twice a week), you’ll have baby soft skin without damaging your moisture barrier in no time. REDKEN - Triple Pure 32 Neutral Fragrance Hairspray It’s almost impossible for my hair to hold a curl without some kind of product. I love this hairspray because it sets my hair but doesn’t leave it feeling solid or crunchy. The mist is really fine so it disperses through my hair evenly without leaving some parts clumped with product and some parts untouched, which is one of my biggest pet peeves with hairspray. I highly recommend this to anyone who has trouble making their styled hair last more than an hour! TIGI - A Wave We Go Adjustable Deep Waver I love this hair waver because it’s incredibly easy to use. With this, I can wave my lob in literally 10 minutes! You can adjust the depth of the wave too, so you can have anything between a subtle beach wave or some really wild waves. What are your favorite products from Sephora and Ulta?

Pretty in Yellow ft Mask 💛 #CheriePartner
I loooove yellow & I’m known to go all the way with wearing yellow. Even my friend IG@rebtenna made this mask with me in mind. Here’s my makeup look to match and we’re specifically focusing on brightening the eyes, as the mask already takes up half of my face 😆 The honourable mention goes out to the ĀETHER BEAUTY - Supernova Crushed Diamond Highlighter in Yellow Diamond (gold), as it’s the main eyeshadow I’m using here. It’s a beautiful, buildable shimmer. I gave it a 4⭐️ because even though it really suits my skintone (a highlighter I’ve been waiting for!), it’s a bit too sparkly to be a highlighter I feel comfy to rock a “less makeup” day and so it needs to be blended quite a bit. I started this look with SAPPHO - New Paradigm Concealer in Caramel as an eye primer for longer eye shadow wear. Then prepped the shadow and definition of my eye with MISMACK - Large ART Shadow in 'Shade' and MISMACK - Square ART Shadow in Coco. The inner corner was illuminated with #Pure Anada - Luminous Shadow[products]#[FiveStars] in Celestial Shimmer. The eye brushes ive been using are ecoTOOLS - Ultimate Shade Duo . I’m still learning the best way to apply eye liner for My eye shape, but to bolden the eyes I used true glue - Prime Line All-Natural Eyeliner Pen . 4⭐️ because sometimes the ink isn’t as strong as I need it to be even when I just got it, but it is waterproof so that’s cool. Then fanned out my eyelashes with Milk MAKEUP - KUSH High Volume Mascara mini size from Sephora’s bday gift selection - so blessed, aren’t we?! The eyebrows were touched up with Milk MAKEUP - KUSH Clear Brow Gel . I know I should probably learn to make them less intense, but I’m still experimenting with that one ✨

That good kush and mascara 👀
Finding the perfect mascara can be hard. Some give you good length but clump. Some give you good volume but no length. And some just straight up don’t work. My lashes are long but tend to stick out straight and lack in volume. They also get stuck together very easily. I’ve tried many different mascaras, ranging from drugstore to a little bit more higher end. After many trial and error situations, I think i’ve finally found the perfect one: the Milk Kush Mascara! Product info: price point: $24 for a full size and $12 for travel vegan, cruelty-free, gluten-free key ingredient: hemp-derived cannabis seed oil heart-shaped fibers to lock onto lashes to create volume pure pigments for intense black finish My mascara method: first, i ALWAYS curl my lashes. I warm up the curler first with either the warm setting on my blow dryer or i stick it in my bra while i am doing the rest of my routine (people with boobs this is a real time saver). I curl them in 3 parts: more towards the outside, then middle, then inside. I hold each for about 5-10 seconds (depends on if I lose count or not 🙈) second, I apply the mascara, wiggling as I go through each lash. Then I take a clean mascara wand and go over the lashes to break up any clumps. For this mascara specifically, I happened to have a travel size of it, so I cleaned the travel size wand off before I used it to separate my lashes. It’s very helpful to use the same wand but if there is a wand that you prefer over the provided wand, then go for that! third, I repeat step two one more time before the first coat dries and then do the bottom lashes with whatever is left on the mascara wand. My bottom lashes I only do one coat and do not use the clean mascara wand for this. My overall thoughts: Milk MAKEUP - KUSH High Volume Mascara Honestly, look at my picture! (This is also my first post with me in it so hiya! 👋🏻) The difference between my eyes is incredible. I have volume, length, and my lashes just look plain amazing. The only thing I would be wary of with this is that the fibers are super thick so you do have to wipe some of the product off the wand to prevent major clumping. It kind of scared me when I first opened the product, but it’s all about manipulating the product sometimes. I love the wand. It’s thick and holds the product well and separates the lashes really well. The packaging is heavy and durable, which I adore a well-packaged cosmetic. Milk nailed this mascara and they also have a waterproof version as well. I recommend this for anyone in the market for a new mascara! I hope this review helps! As always, patch test your products before use and remember that if a product works for other people, it’s okay if it doesn’t work for you! Not all products are for everyone which is completely normal! ~Kristina 💛

10 min Makeup - Quick Morning Transformation🧚🏽
I’m technically working from home again. I spent the last couple of weeks working in film production, so I didn’t even have a chance to do anything for myself since ~16 hrs of my day were focused on getting to/from work & being present there. Now that I’m home more, it’s important for me to still treat myself like I’m going somewhere... because I am towards my destiny, finding a way to turn my passion into a career 😅 and it’s nice to look “nice, presentable” or whatever for yourself, even at home... if we’ve learned anything during quarantine, amirite? So here’s what I look like waking up to what a few mins of tending to myself with products looks like ✨ It’s not a huge change, but it definitely perks me up! Also before anyone starts, glasses are cute AF but sometimes I feel like they hide my face, especially in photos! ... even though that’s the reason I got rimless glasses 🤣 Anyways, I started by undoing my overnight braids with a little bit of the GRAYDON - Intimacy Oil on my fingers to “lubricate” the hair strands and give em a little sheen. Then I started my face off with some Glossier. - Haloscope Dew Effect Highlighter in Topaz and Glossier. - Niteshine Highlighter Concentrate in Copper (I like to use this as a bronzer, slight contour) I used the ĀETHER BEAUTY - Crystal Charged Cheek Palette as both highlighter, blush AND the main eyeshadow to brighten my lids. Speaking of eyeshadow, MISMACK - Large ART Shadow in 'Shade' and Pure Anada - Grape Pressed Eye in Espresso we’re used for definition. Then I finished my upper face with Milk MAKEUP - KUSH High Volume Mascara and Milk MAKEUP - KUSH Fiber Brow Gel . To both add a little pigment and hydrate my lips, I used my fave lip balm Kosas - Kosasport Lipfuel in Pulse.

September Empties: mini edition!
Today I’m doing mini Monday a little different! I used up a ton of products in the month of September, including lots of mini’s while traveling. So today I’m featuring my thoughts on the mini’s I finished. Stay tuned for my full size empties tomorrow! ✨ . . 🤷🏽‍♀️ voir - Sunrise Rituals: Signature Shampoo voir - Sunset Rituals: Signature Conditioner : Nice but I have long hair and it’s really hard to tell my thoughts with a tiny packet! But it did smell amazing. . 👎🏼 ORIGINS - High-Potency Night-a-Mins Mineral-Enriched Oil-Free Renewal Cream : this is a nice thick moisturizer for night time. But I can’t get past the smell. It reminds me of some bad fruity drink I had in college 😂😬 . 👎🏼Kiehl's - Calendula Serum-Infused Water Cream : this is just way too light weight and not moisturizing enough for my skin type. You might like this if you’re oily. . ❤️ philosophy - Purity Made Simple 3-in-1 Shower, Bath & Shave Gel : yess this is the lemon custard and it smells soo good! . 👎🏼 DRUNK ELEPHANT - Umbra Tinte Physical Daily Defense Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 30 : this is SO greasy I can’t stand it. . 🤷🏽‍♀️ DRUNK ELEPHANT - Protini Polypeptide Cream : I don’t get the hype behind this. It’s also too greasy for me. And I’m not supporting DE right now. . 🤷🏽‍♀️ Milk MAKEUP - Kush Lip Balm : I like it! But not extremely long lasting. It did melt and get messy though. Would maybe repurchase on sale. . 🤷🏽‍♀️ NARS - Climax Mascara : nice for volume but it dried out quickly and flaked a lot. . ❤️ CLINIQUE - Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm : yes really enjoyed this. Would get on sale. Probably will save this little tub to put some balm from my full sizes in for future travel! . ❤️ REDKEN - One United Multi-Benefit Treatment Spray : yes a solid leave in conditioner!

Milk Makeup ——eh🤷‍♀️
I’ve picked up a few products to give Milk Makeups skincare line a try. While I do love the Cleanser and tried the moisturizer as a sample and liked it as well, I can’t say I’m impressed with the others I have. Milk MAKEUP - Day + Night Serum and Mask Face Set Has the Milk MAKEUP - Watermelon Brightening Serum and I haven’t seen any changes since using Milk MAKEUP - Watermelon Brightening Face Mask and again no noticeable changes Milk MAKEUP - Melatonin Overnight Lip Mask I do enjoy the lip mask. It reminds me a bit of the Laneige Sleeping Mask but has a bit of a natural scent to it. Milk MAKEUP - Melatonin Overnight Serum again, no changes since using What I do like about the products are the roll on stick application. It’s a fun change of using traditional methods. I’ve just picked up the Milk MAKEUP - KUSH High Volume Mascara and so far am really liking it!!! Very clean and easy to apply. No smearing or flaking. Sorry such a blah review but that’s kinda my opinion of the brand. Just didn’t “wow” me. #CherieCreator

L I L A H B. I feel refreshed and ready to share my thoughts on lilah my new favorite natural looking make-up. _______ its no surprise to see why the brand is so elegant and calming. I love a good korean bb cream but I find that their marvelous matte crème foundation is very similar in application and setting. It cover pretty well but its lightweight formulate is buildiable. Great for contouring for nights out. In the morning it evens my skin tone just enough to look natural. . replacing my Caudlie elixir is the gorgous glow I get from the aglow face mist. It lays my make-up super well and provides an incredible amount of glow in the form of a soft dew. With botanicals it provides hydrations and keep my skin flawlessly hdyrated delivering hydrated. . blams are becoming more and more useful to me this spring. I love how soft my lips feel after applying it. I use it under lipsticks to make some a bit more creamy, also by itself. Glossier’s Futuredew is my favorite primer for a dewy skin look! It’s an oil/serum hybrid that provides skin with a lasting dewy sheen. Issa Dupe?
Issa Dupe?
Swipe for more! 👉🏻 I present to you, my first ever dupe review! We will be comparing 2 makeup serums, the new and slightly cheaper LANEIGE - Glowy Makeup Serumas the dupe for the fARSÁLI - Unicorn Essence Antioxidant Primer Serum. We will touch on the price, ingredients, claims, and texture/smell! Let’s break it down beauty babes! 👇🏻 ✨Up first is the Laneige Glowy Makeup Serum✨ Claims This is a “lightweight and hydrating serum that keeps oil in check for visibly smoother skin and longer lasting makeup wear.” This product also claims to leave skin with a natural, radiant glow. Price For $43 you can have this 1 oz stunner, and there is no mini available. The Good Stuff The main ingredients highlighted by the brand are: 💎Diamond mineral powder to create a translucent, expensive, and natural glow while smoothing the skin’s appearance 💎Ceramide hydration gel locks in that much-needed moisture 💎Light Fit Prep Technology to help lock in that masterpiece of a makeup look you just created 💎Jojoba seed oil to balance out oily skin 💎Contains no parabens of phthalates 💎Sadly, the diamond mineral powder, ceramides, jojoba oil, and vitamin E are quite low in the ingredients list, but glycerine is second so that’s a win. The ingredients list is also a million miles long. Texture & Smell The product feels quite nice, it’s not too thick and it’s easy to work with. The product is unscented. I personally love the look of this clear serum with the pink reflects. 🦄Next is the Farsali Unicorn Essence Antioxidant Primer Serum🦄 Claims “A dual-purpose serum to prep skin for makeup and protect the skin from free-radical damage” This product also claims to be eye safe and can be used as an eyeshadow primer. Price Two sizes are available: $69 for 1 oz and $29.50 for 0.34 oz. The Good Stuff 🍇Açai, blueberries, elderberry, and goji berries to provide vitamins A, B, C, and E 🍇Clean at Sephora 🍇Linalool and limonene are present, but not in very high concentrations. These 2 oils have been known to oxidize and cause irritation to the skin. The above fruit extracts are very low in the ingredients list as well. Texture & Smell I have to admit, the cotton candy scent is delicious but I definitely don’t smell it for long after application. The texture is a lot less viscous because the product is water-based in order for your skin to absorb it better. Issa Dupe? Nope, sorry. They may both be makeup serums that can be used as primers, but due to the supposed superstar ingredients and their benefits, they are much too different. Oil control isn’t the same as free radical damage protection. I will admit they are both beautiful serums, and they do give a nice glass skin look. I definitely don’t think that $69 for 1 oz of the Farsali serum is appropriate for how low of a concentration the beneficial ingredients are, and Laneige isn’t a “clean” or cruelty-free brand because they sell in China. What do you think of either product?

My favourite ILIA beauty produ
My favourite ILIA beauty products. This True Skin Radiant Priming Serum is so lightweight and absorbs like a dream. Leave a subtle glow which helps me achieve natural dewy base. Works so well with their True Skin Foundation. Obsessed with their Colour Haze Multi-Matte Pigment the formula is perfect for cheeks and lips and is buildable. This tube with an attractive applicator is perfect for traveling. And I can’t end without mentioning their Color Block Lipstick in Rosewood it’s a soft oxblood shade and look so good on every skin tone almost. It’s been a week I’m wearing this beauty non-stop. Most comfortable formula! Highly recommend picking up this shade and a neutral brown Marsala!

✨ Glow Potion (Vitamin C + Highlighter)
✨ Glow Potion (Vitamin C + Highlighter)
I've seen plenty of beauty bloggers rave about the Hourglass ambient light highlighters. It seemed like a toned down alternative to sparkly Too Faced or Becca ones, so I gave it a try. But alone, I felt pretty meh about the product. HOURGLASS - Ambient Lighting Powder (Shade: Diffused Light) It's a very soft highlighter, almost undetectable on first application. When I built it up on my skin, the soft yellow color showed more. I also noticed it had tiny sparkles. But the caveat was that I had to build it up so much, you could tell I had powder on my skin. I ended up disappointed. Enter the The Ordinary - Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12% I read that Vitamin C was important to brighten your skin. And honestly, I haven't used this product long enough to tell you if it does do that in the long term. BUT I did notice how dazzling my skin looked if I left the product on my face for a day. I even rubbed it into my hands, and despite washing them like 10x, my skin still looked dewy. It was like the glass-skin trend, but on my hands. So what happens when you put them together? A glow affair... 😌 A health potion... Okay, but to describe what it REALLY does: The Ordinary oil is a little thick, and the highlighter (thickly swatched above the oil in the 3rd pic) is very matte. But when you mix them together, you take away the problem of too much powder. The oil accentuates the sparkles in the highlighter, and since it's not thin like a mist, it actually stays for the whole day instead of evaporating. It's better makeup with skincare. Two birds with one stone.
