Beauty blender dupes ✨
The first makeup sponge I used was the beauty blender pro sponge. I loved it so much. I used it every single day to blend my foundations, blushes, and powders. After using it so much it started looking old and I realized I definitely didn’t want to spend $20 for a sponge. I started trying out so many affordable ones and lots of them didn’t work until... Real techniques miracle complexion sponge, when it’s dry it feels slightly stiff but still nice and soft to the touch. When you wet it it becomes super soft. It blends my foundation very well, similar to the beauty blender at a 1/3 of the price! One of my favorite sponges so far! $5.99 and I’ve found these at marshalls and tj maxx for about $3-4! My FAV Foundation for my Skin #CheriePartner
Hey Y’all! So I don’t wear foundation often but when I do I only go for two different ones. Which is The Fenty Foundation (dewy formula) or NYX - Total Control Drop Foundation which is what I’ll be talking about today! 🤎 When looking for a foundation I usually always go for a dewy look. I’m not a huge fan of matte anything. The thing I like about the Total Control drop foundation is that it’s soft matte but can be easily manipulated to give a more dewy look. 🤎 I love the Total Control drop foundation simply because a little goes a long way! I have sensitive combination skin and foundation tends to irritate it. But with this foundation I have found solace! It goes on super smooth and I only need a few drops. I usually go for light coverage as you can see from the pictures. The dropper definitely helps in controlling how much foundation you need. 🤎 Another great thing is that NYX is super affordable and the same applies to this foundation! It’s only about $14 and because you only need a little it lasts for quite a while. I’ve had this bottle for about 6 months and it’s still has a lot! 🤎 When applying the foundation I simply put 1-2 drops on the back of my hand and take NYX - Holographic Halo Liquid Highlighting Brush and dip it in the foundation and just buff it over my skin. I like this brush but I don’t love it. I know it’s a highlighter brush but I just haven’t found a foundation brush that cuts it for me. I would love some suggestions if you guys have some! 🤎 After buffing out the foundation with the brush I take a beauty blender and dip it in the foundation as well to cover any spots I miss. Then I spray the beauty blender with NYX - Dewy Finish Makeup Setting Spray and just blend out a little more this helps add a little bit of a dewy sheen to the foundation. I absolutely love the Dewy Finish setting spray it gives me everything I’m looking for! ✨ In conclusion this foundation is really good and it helps blur out imperfections and has a very buildable formula so it works anywhere from light to full coverage! You can leave it as a soft matte as is or add a nice setting spray to give you any look you desire! ✨I’d love to hear your tips and tricks on foundation and good foundation brush recommendations! ✨ BESOS 😘
My fool proof routine for the perfect base!
Forming a base routine can be so tricky, time consuming, and expensive! Especially with my combo skin! When I wear foundation this is the routine I follow. After my skincare has had a few minutes to soak in, I start with sunscreen! Sunscreen over long term use is going to help your skin look more even and bright! It’s so much easier to get the glass skin effect when you don’t have dark spots or an uneven tan. I’ve been using the LANCÔME - Absolue Premium BX Regenerating and Replenishing Care SPF 15 Skincare but there are certainly cheaper options out there! (I’m a big fan of the COOLA - Classic Face Sunscreen Moisturizer SPF 50 ) Next, I spread the LANEIGE - Glowy Makeup Serum all over my face. It’s very emollient and spreads easily on the face without being oily, so I feel comfortable even using this around my t zone! Then I fill in my pores with the e.l.f. - Poreless Putty Primer Moving my finger in circular motions I apply this to my t zone: inner cheeks, center of the forehead and chin. This is typically when I would apply eyeshadow, but I only used one shade in my crease today to focus on the face. It’s the ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Norvina Eyeshadow Palette shades Love and Incense mixed. Then I move to the under eyes. I use the BECCA - Under Eye Brightening Corrector Because I am fair to light and have a pink - neutral undertone this works as a concealer for me! If you are yellow or strictly neutral this may not work for you! I use my finger to gently pat this on my under eye starting towards the inner corner and blending outward. Next is foundation. I use the AOA studio - AOA Wonder Blender This is the best beauty blender dupe I’ve ever found and it’s only like $1. I pump two pumps of the ESTĒE LAUDER - Double Wear Stay-in-Place Foundation on the back of my hand and start blending it out using a sponge. I do make sure to blend it on down my neck so I don’t get a foundation line. I am in the shade Ecru. Then I dip into my NATASHA DENONA - Diamond & Blush Palette . Still using the sponge, I blend the cream blush (top middle shade) into my cheeks starting at the top of my cheekbone towards the hairline. This helps prevent getting a lot of product in the middle of your face where we want to bring light! With my finger I blend the cream highlight (top left) over the blush at the very top of my cheekbone. I usually line this up with the outer corner of my eye. If you’re a bronzer person like me, you can apply bronzer using a fluffy brush to your temples, nose, and outer perimeter of your forehead. I use the BECCA - Sunlit Bronzer because it has a sheen that makes it look so natural! This is the shade Bronzed Bondi. I finish by dusting a light amount of the Coty Airspun Powder #cheriepartner

Achieving The “Airbrushed” Look 🤎
Start with making sure your face is prepped and clean and moisturized! I start with Simple - Water Boost Micellar Cleansing Water Then I use The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 make sure your face is damp when applying so it’ll retain the moisture! This is important Then I seal it in with The Ordinary - 100% Plant-Derived Hemi-Squalane Make sure to wait 30 seconds to let these products seal in. Makeup: For foundation COLOURPOP - Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Hydrating Foundation Now before I blend it in I spray my setting spray and let it dry a little before.. this will make it looked airbrushed!!! It’s important trust me. Then I use my REAL TECHNIQUES - Miracle Complexion Sponge For concealer I use the e.l.f. - Hydrating Camo Concealer I use the #Maybelline - Fit Me Loose Powder[products]#[FiveStars] and this stuff is great especially if you’re taking pictures or using a ring light! I use a dark concealer for my contour e.l.f. - Hydrating Camo Concealer And the wet n wild - Color Icon Bronzer Square I love this stuff it blends so well!! Then I use MILANI - MILANI Baked Blush in luminoso it’s the best For highlighter I use wet n wild - MegaGlo Highlighting Powder in precious petals this applies so good I use the Milk MAKEUP - KUSH High Volume Mascara After I spray my NYX - Matte Finish Makeup Setting Spray and use my beauty blender to make sure everything sets properly! For my lips I use NYX - Suede Matte Lip Liner in Brown And NYX - Butter Gloss in Praline Then layer a coat of NYX - Soft Matte Metallic Lip Cream in Cairo Let me know any suggestions in the comments of your fave products! 🤎
It’s worth the hype- New holy grail
For months I’ve been seeing rave reviews and makeup videos featuring the COLOURPOP - Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Tinted Moisturizer . Two weeks ago, I finally caved and purchased it. I have been on the hunt for a light foundation that leaves a “your skin but better” finish, and this is IT! It covers my redness while leaving my skin with a natural looking finish. It’s a gorgeous dewy finish, but alone doesn’t have a very long wear time. I set with the FENTY BEAUTY - Pro Filt'r Instant Retouch Setting Powder for a longer wearing base. With the powder I get around 8 hours of wear, with minimal transfer onto my mask. I do notice that it does tend to wear off onto my glasses, but its not something I’m overly concerned about. I’ve noticed in reviews that it wears differently on different skin types, so if you’re not sure if this will work for you I say its definitely worth a try! It really could be the holy grail product you’re looking for. This will definitely remain a staple in my makeup drawer.
RATING: BEAUTY SPONGES 😯 #CheriePartner
Hello my loves! You guys seem to love these ratings & I love a good deal when I can find it. So here is my ratings of a few beauty sponges — beautyblender - Classic Makeup Sponge Pink - this was the innovator of beauty sponges in the makeup community but $20? i could NEVER wrap my head around that but it was the best one for awhile. i didn't really love it & felt it'd dry too quickly so it wasn't really for me. i'm so glad we've moved forward & now drugstore brands are releasing great products! beautyblender - Pro - same energy here. this was what i stuck with for awhile, i do think there's a difference between the two sponges but with this i couldn't tell how dirty it was and i just couldn't trust it! MORPHE - Flawless Beauty Sponge - WAY TOO TOUGH! i haven't used it in awhile i hope they reproduced these because it barely grew & just soaked up all my product. glad i got rid of it! e.l.f. - Total Face Sponge - this was my go-to for the past few months! i really like the flat edge for applying my base. it was great! e.l.f has seriously stepped up their game with sponges. REAL TECHNIQUES - Miracle Complexion Sponge - BOOOOO! sorry i am just not a fan. i was never about this sponge. i've tried it so many times and it's just dry & awkward to use. it's not for me whatsoever. #e.l.f. - Complexion Sponge Trio[products]#[FiveStars] - 🗣check out my first impression on this set. the actually set is the "complexion sponge trio" in purple! i love love love it. i just started but i want to continue with it. super soft & i love that it has three RELIABLE sizes. #L'oréal - Blend Artist Foundation Blender[products]#[FiveStars] - another great one! super soft & has great shape. used this for awhile, only issue is it does tear after a little while. As always, sending love. Thanks for reading. ❤️ #cheriepartner #cheriecreator
Is this electronic foundation brush better?? 🤔
Long past are the days where you put foundation on with your hands. I’m so thankful for the many beauty tools we have today that help apply foundation evenly. For foundation I decided to test two very popular, and different, options. For manual we have the fan favorite beauty blender versus the Clarisonic foundation brush head for electronic. Manual versus electronic. Which will come out on top? First up is the beautyblender - Pro . This sponge retails for $20 which I find completely over priced. The sponge itself is very soft. The sponge applies foundation beautifully. It’s very easy to use as well! You wet it, ring it out, and bounce the product all over the face. The major disadvantages would be you have to replace it every couple of months and they can get dirty really fast. I’ve also had sponges rip on me in the past but that really depends on how you take care of them. They also have a tendency to soak up product more than a brush. Second up is the clarisonic - Sonic Foundation Brush Head . It retails for $39 which is EXTREMELY over priced in my opinion. The only reason I bought this was because Tati (on YouTube) has a promo code once a year with them where it’s only $19. It’s very easy to install into the Clarisonic. It pops in just like any other brush head. You turn on the Clarisonic and the device oscillates to help spread foundation over the face. Unlike a sponge, a brush won’t soak up as much product. My issue with this is it didn’t blend my foundation out at all. It just moved it around in one spot. I tried and tried but for the life of me I couldn’t get it to distribute the product over my face. They say it applies your foundation flawlessly in under a minute and I found this to be not true. Personally I think manual is way better in this scenario. The sponge is full proof, easy to use, and gives you a flawless base while the brush head doesn’t even distribute foundation like it’s supposed to. I think both are over priced but you can find cheap sponges where the Clarisonic brush head is usually always overpriced. Despite the fact that the Clarisonic brush head is meant to save time and make application easier it actually made it harder.
I bought this brush for hype and...
Finding the best makeup brushes is no easy feat, but it's important nonetheless. Choosing the right setting powder brush is probably the most important step to achieving a glowy, professional makeup artist-level complexion. REAL TECHNIQUES - Powder Brush $9 This is a versatile brush that can be used for powder and bronzer. Real Techniques is a professional makeup tool brand in the United States. The makeup brushes it produces are very suitable for starters. At the same time, the price is cheap and the high cost performance allows us to change at any time to keep the brush clean. This makeup brush has very soft bristles that can mix well with dust and mineral foundation. The makeup brush uses artificial hair, which is very easy to clean. After you use it, clean it with their makeup brush and sponge cleansers to keep it germ free. The most important thing is that the brush of this product is very, very soft. Tens of thousands of bristles are extremely fluffy, so that the brush has a very strong grip on powder, and no powder is wasted at all. I am buying the brush that I bought with Givenchy Prisme Libre Loose Powder. The staff recommended that this brush could be well matched with Givenchy Prisme Libre Loose Powder without spending too much time on protection. As long as the last step of makeup, I take the brush and gently press on the Givenchy Prisme Libre Loose Powder. After shaking the excess powder a little, pour it on the face where we need to set the makeup. Compared with the built-in tools, this brush can make the makeup lighter and thinner, and the small brush head can also take care of some small corners of the face.

URBAN DECAY-All Nighter Waterproof Setting Powder
Under $30! RT sponges are perfect to apply foundation!
REAL TECHNIQUES - Miracle Complexion Sponge This has been raved about time and time again on YouTube and instagram and all over other social medias, so I decided to try one out about two years ago. From that moment on, I've fell in love with it! I've purchased the original beauty blender twice now and I just can't use it after using this one! I always go back to this no matter what I use! And what is really great about this pack is that you save $10! Sold separately, these sponges cost $6.99/ea at Ulta, making a true to price 4-pack $27.96, but I bought this one is only $17 on Amazon!!! That is amazing! And they will last a long time! My favorite way to use this sponge is by holding it under the faucet to make it damp with water. The sponge blends out any liquid or creams to perfection. Hands down these are my absolute favorite complexion sponges super soft to touch and gentle on the skin! I really can't compare because it's the only sponges I prefer to use while working on faces. I love that their is a four pack saves me so much money. I loooove these sponges! They are one of the best alternatives you can get instead of the original Beauty Blender, at the fraction of the price. Gives me a smooth application and takes away a lot of the cake that can go on if you use a brush. One sponge usually lasts me 2-3 months if you really know how to wash and take care of it. Love the Real Techniques line. I have a visual impairment and find that their sponges work amazing for me. They do get ratty over time like any other product but It's a lot cheaper than the Beauty Blender to have to replace.

Don’t miss it! This brush set is a 10!
Brush set for beginners, it’s a 10! You must have!!! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 If I can only choose one make up brush set to keep using that Real Techniques Core Collection Makeup Brush Set is my NO.1 option. REAL TECHNIQUES - Core Collection I've showed how much I loved this brand on last powder brush review. So this core brushset is composed of a buffing brush, a detailer brush, a pointed foundation brush, and a contour brush. It has all the brushes that you need for powders, creams, mineral makeup, and even liquids. Unique and affordable. I briefly reviewed the brushes individually below: Detailer Brush: The small detailer brush can be used for applying eyeshadow to small areas, like highlighting the inner corner or brow bone, or applying a color just on one part of the lid, or also for concealer. Square Foundation Brush: The only brush I don't use is the flat foundation brush simply because I don't like to apply my foundation with brushes like that and also it's kinda small to apply foundation, but may be nice to apply it in small or hard to get areas. You could also use it to apply face masks if you don't like to use your hands. Buffing Brush: The buffing brush in this collection is amazing. It's my go to foundation brush, it's a flawlessly blends foundation. Contour Brush: The contour brush is a little too small for all over foundation application but it can be used for contouring, bronzer, blush, highlighter, and powder (it's nice to set Undereye with). It is also perfect brush for hollowing those cheekbones or applying under eye setting powder. The brushes are made of synthetic so it won’t absorb the cosmetics. For precise application, each brush is handcrafted to obtain the perfect shape. And each brush has a name on it which makes it ideal for beginners. I swear before I bought this set, I was really dazzled by the variety of brushes, totally have no idea how to use them. By the way, they are lightweight and easy to use!! Fantastic quality as well! You can guarantee that it is made of high quality since it is created by renowned celebrity makeup artist, Samantha Chapman. PROFESSIONAL! Pros: ● Perfect for newbies ● Ultra-plush, cruelty-free, brushes ● Panoramic case Cons: ● The pointed foundation blush may be too small ● Some sets sold on Amazon may be fake ● The case can’t fit more brushes

💁FLAWLESS Make-up Base!
All of us want our skincare routine to start paying off and show results on our skin. Depending on your skin type, achieving a flawless, airbrushed base is possible! For combination skin, my main concern with creating a flawless base is oil control and that my foundation stays on.I am careful with using the right skincase as the wrong moisturiser can lead to the dreaded cakey look. ✅ Moisturizer and Sunscreen Consider skin care as your makeup. I ensure that my skin is well cleansed and moisturized for my foundation and concealer! The best way to ensure a gorgeous complexion before any makeup is used is to create a healthy base with a suitable moisturizer and sunscreen. My go-tos are Clinique’s Lotion and Murad’s sunscreen. ✅ Concealer and Foundation for right skin type I usually use concealer on your undereye circles first before foundation. As I have some fine lines around my eye area, I opt for a liquid concealer. Try not to pick a concealer that is too light as they will not hide the dark circles and instead make them look chalky. To use, apply the concealer in little stripes downwards with the applicator and blend them out gently with a dry clean finger or concealer brush. I am currently using L’oreal’s Infallible Pro Glow Concealer. It feels super lightweight on my skin, making it easy to blend for a luminous, buildable coverage. The water based concealer does not irritate my oilier T-zone or cause fine lines under my eyes. To build the next layer of the base, I spread foundation all over my face. Maybelline FIT ME! Matte + Poreless Foundation is great for combination skin. The oil-free formula is not too thick and sticky on the face, making it easy to blend. It also helps achieve a matte and poreless-looking finish. If I am going for a more natural look, one thin layer is sufficient. ✅ Setting powder To ensure a longwear result throughout the day, espeically during humid summer, no other product will do the job quite like a setting powder. There are various loose and pressed options that will help to keep chalky-looking skin at bay. I have been using Rimmel’s Stay Matte Loose Powder Transparent to lock in my make-up on my face. There are two benefits – my skin stays shine-free and my make-up stays on throughout the day with zero or minimal touch-ups. This transparent and fine powder blends effortlessly into my tanned skin tone to leave an airbrushed finish. To use, I apply with a powder or kabuki brush over foundation. ✅ Final Mist To secure all the base make-up products on my face, I spray my face with e.l.f. Matte Magic Mist & Set spray. The mist also comes in two sizes, and the small bottle fits well in my purse when I am traveling around. The multipurpose spray gives my makeup a lasting, shine-free finish in seconds. Infused with vitamins B, E, and arctium majus root, the norishing liquid feels fresh and light on my skin. The mist is also suitable for dry, combination and oily skins.
