Moisturizers my skin is loving atm ✨
These are the moisturizers I’ve been using since the beginning of summer and have helped my combination skin. Inn beauty project next level no be moisturizer: I’ve really enjoyed this. Personally when I’ve applied this it hasn’t left a super shiny look on my skin which I love. It hydrates my skin and smells kind of like oats. It’s creamy and great for my sensitive skin as well. iNNBEAUTY PROJECT - Next Level Daily Moisturizer

My fall skincare routine! 🍁🍂✨
Summer’s over and here comes fall! Drier and cooler weather means my skin will get more dehydrated and I’ll need a different skincare to keep it healthy. During this time I like to use brightening serums to get rid of my small dark spots that have appeared during summer/being out in the sun all the time. My face definitely feels the cool air and I need more moisturizer to keep it soft and not dry. I love starting off with my kiehls ultra facial cleanser. This never fails. It never strips my skin, it removes all the makeup I’ve been wearing and if I’m bare faced it doesn’t remove my natural oils. It’s a liquidy gel consistency and has a small cleansing scent. This is one I always recommend to people. Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Cleanser I follow with the Sunday Riley ceo vitamin c brightening serum. I started with a sample I received in my Sephora order and fell in love with it. On my forehead I had a small sun spot and over time this helped fade it out. I was incredibly impressed! This didn’t dry out my skin, it actually gave my skin moisture. The texture is more of a liquidy moisturizer. It has a faint citrus 🍊 smell that I love. It also didn’t cause a reaction on my sensitive skin! SUNDAY RILEY - CEO 15% Vitamin C Brightening Serum After I apply moisturizer on. This elf holy hydration cream is one that I’ve been loving a lot this year. It’s one I keep rebuying, this is my third purchase! Super soft and lightweight. This kinda melts into your skin a bit. This feels amazing on my really oily forehead and dry cheeks. e.l.f. - Holy Hydration! Face Cream Next is eye cream. I’m currently using the glamglow bright eyes illuminating anti-fatigue eye cream. This is an ok product. I got this in a Ipsy bag. It’s a little thick, which most eye creams are, and it feels nice. It moisturizes my under eyes really well but I don’t see the “anti-fatigue” affect. Nothing wrong with this product but I’ve seen similar or better results with more affordable ones. I wouldn’t repurchase this. Tip✨ use eye cream to apply on your upper lip. That skin is also fairly prone to wrinkles as well so might as well use the cream to help prevent. GLAMGLOW - BRIGHTEYES Illuminating Anti-Fatigue Eye Cream On days that my skin is extra dry or I want some radiance I use the drunk elephant f-balm electrolyte water facial cream/mask. I try to prevent my skin getting too dehydrated by using this every other day. This is a lightweight product but omg this has incredibly hydrated my face a lot. It has small little beads that melt on skin contact. This doesn’t have a smell which is great. DRUNK ELEPHANT - F-Balm Electrolyte Waterfacial Mask Don’t forget about lips! I’m currently finishing up my fresh sugar lemon 🍋 lip balm. It hydrate my lips nicely. It’s not one of those sticky balms, it glides on and doesn’t dry out fast. fresh - Sugar Lemon Hydrating Lip Balm
🚨 DUPE ALERT! 🚨 A $12 Tatcha Water Cream Dupe!
Y’all. I have a Dupe Alert for you that I’ve been sitting on for a few weeks because I wanted to do my due diligence in researching both ingredient lists, and to try both products to see how my skin reacted. For the last four weeks, I’ve been testing and researching a moisturizer I found to be very similar to Tatcha Water Cream. Now, we all know Tatcha is legit—but it also comes with a hefty price tag. So when I found this $12 moisturizer at Target, and discovered it left my skin feeling as good (if not BETTER) than my Water Cream, I was SHOOK. The dark horse product I’m referring to? e.l.f. Holy Hydration moisturizer. Let’s talk about why. TATCHA - The Water Cream If you’ve ever used Tatcha’s Water Cream, you know why this product gets a 5-star rating. It’s an amazing product. But at $68 for 1.7oz, the price point is extremely heft for what it is. The two ingredients that make this moisturizer so expensive are gold and Tatcha’s signature Japanese flower blend. Neither of these ingredients are of significant benefit in a skincare product. Gold is primarily labeled as an antioxidant—but there are hundreds of antioxidant ingredients out there that are just as effective (if not more) than gold. The Japanese flower blend is kind of “gimmicky” in my opinion. Everything it claims to do (support circulation, calms skin, reduces oil, and brightening) can all be achieved through other ingredients on the market for waaaaay less money. Is the product great? Sure. But I can’t justify a $68 price tag on the regular. Enter e.l.f. e.l.f. - Holy Hydration! Face Cream At first glance, e.l.f.’s Holy Hydration Face Cream looks pretty plain. From the packaging to the smell of the cream (or, should I say, no smell), it just looks like a normal moisturizer. Upon further inspection of the ingredient list, things got real. The first 10 ingredients (of 30) all deliver the same anti-oxidant, anti-aging, hydrating and moisturizing power as Tatcha’s Water Cream, without the gimmicks. In those top 10 ingredients we have niacinimide, squalene, glycerine, and water. (Note, water is also the first ingredient in The Water Cream... of course.) Both products also contain hyaluronic acid in the same position on the ingredient lists, meaning the efficacy of the ingredient is likely apples-to-apples. Holy Hydration also has very little fragrance when compared to Water Cream, and no essential oil additives. Now, the most important part of the testing phase: how did the two compare on my skin? They felt exactly the same. Both are lightweight and absorb quickly, leaving my skin feeling hydrated, plumped and smooth. Neither left me feeling oily or weighed down. If it weren’t for Tatcha’s fragrance, I could put these creams in unmarked packaging and think I was using the same product. Final thought: both creams are great, and Tatcha is the OG. But if you’re on a budget, try e.l.f.’s Holy Hydration cream. I swear you’ll be shook, too!
GlamGlow Boxycharm SCORE! 🥴
I’ve posted past reviews of some items that I have received in my boxycharm subscription box. I am excited to post this one because it was a real score imo. Usually I will use my CeraVe moisturizer but when I saw this GLAMGLOW - MOISTURETRIP Omega-Rich Face Moisturizer in my boxy, I had to try it out. I am pleased to say that this moisturizer is wonderful! My only problem? The price tag. I find that my CeraVe moisturizer works just as well as this one for half the price. If you are one who does not need to focus on the price tag, then of course you can opt for this little guy. But for me? I can’t afford $70 to give my skin a moisture boost. Anyways, the product applies nicely, not greasy and doesn’t sit on top of your skin in a slimy gross layer. It absorbs right in and makes your skin feel nice and soft. A little of this product goes a long way! A bit of a scent, but not an unpleasant one and not too strong. Overall I give this product 5/5 ⭐️’s (I didn’t let the price tag affect my review). #CherieCreator
What am I missing? Blackhead/large pores
PM Routine TULA SKINCARE - Kefir Replenishing Cleansing Oil This cleansing oil works really good to melt all the makeup off your face, I love it so far! TULA SKINCARE - The Cult Classic Purifying Face Cleanser This has been my favorite so far. Very gentle. Little to no scent. My face feels very clean after using it. TULA SKINCARE - Deep Exfoliating Blackhead Scrub I use this no more then 2 times a week bc it is fairly harsh. I do see a difference in the morning after using it. I’ve only been using for about a month now so I’m not 100% sold on it. I haven’t seen “long term” results from it just yet. The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution touch in SOL - No Poreblem Prime Essence Not pictured but recently started using it this past week. It’s only been a week but I do see a slight difference in my pores. Time will tell! FARMACY - Honeymoon Glow Serum Love this so far. When I wake up my face is glowing GLAMGLOW - MOISTURETRIP Omega-Rich Face Moisturizer This is a favorite. It’s extremely moisturizing! Even though this works very well I do plan on changing to the farmacys oil free moisturizer since I have oily skin. AM Routine The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution I don’t cleanse in the morning bc it’s very drying to my skin. I use some toner to “clean my skin” however someone recommended Sephora’s glow pads which i was thinking about switching to for AM. CLEAN SKIN CLUB - Vitamin C Brightening Booster I haven’t used many vitamin C’s but I do have to say this has by far been my favorite. It’s very moisturing and not to oily. KYPRIS - ANTIOXIDANT DEW Every now and then to switch it up I’ll use this instead of the vitamin C listed above. It works well just a little bit watery. GLAMGLOW - MOISTURETRIP Omega-Rich Face Moisturizer Ending with my moisturizer Since starting my skincare routine my face has cleared up a ton and has more of a glow then ever before. I didn’t have bad acne but I had at least a few “zits/bumps” on my face at a time. Now I rarely have 1-2 which I’m thankful for. BUT it has NOT helped with clearing out my blackheads and minimizing my pores in my T zone. What am I missing? What should I take out or add in? Someone recommended the ordinary’s chemical peel and niacinamide 10%+ zinc 1%. Is this what I need to step up my skincare routine? Please help!
InnBeauty Project set
I picked up the InnBeauty Project set they have on their website during their July 4th sale and I’m kinda not impressed guys. The only two things I love from this set is the lip oil I shared on my last post and the cute red bag it comes with. Foaming cleanser- it’s like it dissolves on your face or something I tried putting a lot on but half of it goes away so it doesn’t feel like my skin is really clean so not a good cleanser Daily moisturizing cream- I gave it a couple stars because it doesn’t have bad ingredients and it’s scent free but guys!!! It has freakin glitter in it!! Can skincare brands please tell us when they put glitter in a skincare product to give us a “glow”. I did notice it does contain citrus in there too which sensitizes your skin over time and I’m not about that. The face mist- at first sounded good I’m always down for a face mist why not it has electrolytes in it which is good but it contains witch hazel, anyone a fan of skincare by Hiram (am I spelling that right?) knows what I’m talking about! Witch hazel is not good for skin, it dries it out not moisturizes it. Big no no! But a couple points because it is cooling and refreshing. The whole set/line is not highly rated by me. Like I said their lip oil is the most amazing thing I’ve bought in my life so that’s 5/5 and the cute red bag is to die for! But the rest? No thank you, I’d feel bad about spending so much money on this set if I didn’t get those two good things out of it
Inn beauty project ✨
This skincare brand is so underrated. I was a bit hesitant about purchasing this but I’ve heard great reviews. I finally decided to get this and wow I should’ve gotten this a while ago. I’ve used all these for about a week now it’s been really gentle and moisturizing on my skin. Foam around clarifying daily cleanser: this surprised me. It has no scent whatsoever! The foam is really fluffy and feels like a cloud on your face. It’s super gentle, and because it’s doesn’t feel like a typical cleanser I thought it wasn’t working. The foam basically dissolves on your skin and doesn’t strip out my oil. It doesn’t dry out my skin and feels great on my oily and dry areas. iNNBEAUTY PROJECT - Foam Around Clarifying Daily Cleanser Next level no bs moisturizer: the packaging is great, all I have to do is squeeze it out and not worry about putting my fingers in the moisturizer. It has a slight thickness to it that feels amazing. It has a slight oat scent to me. It doesn’t leave my face oily and sticky. This has been one of my favorites and is in my top 5 fave moisturizers. It feels like a basic moisturizer and that’s what we really need sometimes. iNNBEAUTY PROJECT - Next Level Daily Moisturizer Power up dual phase setting mist: it feels nice on the skin. I use this before and after makeup. It feels like your typical refreshing and cooling mist. No complains here. iNNBEAUTY PROJECT - Power Up Dual-Phase Face Mist Glaze #1 lip oil: I love this lip oil. It smells and tastes like an apple 🍎. It gives my lips a little bit of a tint and feels amazing. I love that this gives my lip a slight plumping effect. The applicator is really nice and something I don’t see often. It’s kinda big in a good way, it helps apply the right amount of lip oil and feels extremely soft. iNNBEAUTY PROJECT - Glaze #1 lip oil Electrifying lightning bolt eye mask: I got a set of 4 and these are super cute. They feel nice on the skin. If my eyes are a bit puffy or dull I put them in the fridge. They feel refreshing. iNNBEAUTY PROJECT - Electrify Lightening Bolt Eye Mask

✔️Results! Let's get rid of Hyperpigmentation! ✨
If you know me for my Acne journey, you know I managed to leave my hormonal acne at bay. For few weeks I've been focusing on my Acne scars (dark spots) or Hyperpigmentation. For my Indian/brown skin it is inevitable to take care of my Post inflammatory Hyperpigmentation as it tends to get worse with time and sun exposure. The key to start with gettind rid of hyperpigmentation is Sunscreen. Mostly an SPF 30+. It is very important to calm those Melanocytes (cells that produce Melanin) and stop/reduce inter-cell transfer of melanin once it's produced. ✨This can be done with the help of these ingredients : 1. Niacinamide - Brightens skin, reduces Inter-transfer of melanin, Calms melanocytes 2. Alpha Arbutin - Brightening agent, stops excessive melanin production 3. L-Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) - Brightens and lightens dark spots 4. Azelaic acid - Brightens, gently exfoliates and calms Melanocytes 5. AHAs and Retinol - Increase cell turnover and exfoliate skin for brightening of hyperpigmentation. These all are my current favorites and are absolutely effective. Their formulation is so good I have been able to enjoy using them. ✨AM routine : 1. PAULA'S CHOICE - Pore-Reducing Toner 2. This cream is BANANAS 🍌
I have been LOVING the @glowrecipe Banana Soufflé Moisture Cream. It has a light and creamy texture, just like banana pudding. It has a soft banana scent that dissipates as soon as you rub it in. The star ingredients of this cream are banana (of course), magnesium, centella asiatica, chia seed, turmeric, and squalane. Together, these help to soothe, moisturize, and balance the skin, while maintaining the health of the moisture barrier. I have been using this as my day cream every day since I got it. What I love about it is that it is incredibly moisturizing, while being extremely lightweight. I have been searching for something like this as a day cream. I find I need to add an oil to most of them for my skin to stay hydrated, but I don’t need to with this one. It is also very soothing! So much so that I definitely notice a colour correcting effect as it calms my redness. Safe to say that I’m going bananas for this one! 🍌 Have you tried banana in your skincare? What are some of your favourite fruit extracts? GLOW RECIPE - Banana Soufflé Moisture Cream

My skin loves this moisturizer!
I'm sharing today the newest product of .dear, klairs - Fundamental Water Gel Cream I haven't tried any from their Fundamental Line collection so I was very excited when @wishtrend sent over this. Their claim is "Feel Lighter, Go Deeper" as they use ‘Hydra Emulsification System’ to perfectly balanced the texture between gel and cream of this moisturizer. Aside from the texture, the key ingredients are so promising which I know most of you will like. 🌱Jeju Green Tea Water - great for skin calming, brightening, effective antioxidant, and retaining moisture. 💦Panthenol - contains Vitamin B5, good for skin hydration, calms skin irritation and delivers hydration to the deeper layer of the skin. This has a very smooth texture (swipe to see a #textureshot video) and I was pleased on how lightweight it is on my skin. It melts while I apply it and absorbs nicely; definitely going deeper on my skin. I tried layering it and it doesn't feel heavy at all (great for summer or hot/humid weather). I enjoyed using this at morning just before my sunscreen and at night too while doing a quick face massage or use it as a sleeping mask. It makes my skin soft, well hydrated, moisturized, plumped, plus it leaves a healthy glow. I'm so happy to report that this didn't give any irritation on my sensitive skin, it has no fragrance, and somehow controls my oil. If you are looking for a lightweight but nourishing moisturizer, I'll suggest to get this one!* ▪️More in my blog! https://heyitstintinb.wordpress.com

Krave Beauty Beet Shield
The Beet Shield is an antioxidant-rich day fluid that protects against free radicals, as well as offers sun protection of SPF 50+! It protects your skin from environmental stressors, while also providing broad spectrum UV protection. The texture of this SPF is almost glue-like -- it is a white cream of medium-to-thick texture that applies like a thicker moisturizer. It's not liquidy at all, nor is it slippery like silicone-based sunscreens. Instead, it is more of a true cream texture. This is my favorite SPF of all time! I love that it doesn't feel like silicone on my face, and instead feels like a moisturizer. It is so easy to apply in the mornings, and makes my skin feel hydrated and protected all at once. It has never broken me out, which is a huge plus, and sits really well underneath makeup. I purchased this 7 or 8 months ago, and through all the SPFs I used over the summer, this one definitely takes the cake. Plus, it's super affordable, so it's 100% worth it! You get a really great amount of product for a low price, and the packaging is super cute, so it's a win-win! I would HIGHLY recommend this SPF to anyone, regardless of skin type. I think it will work well on everyone, although oily skin gals may want to set their face with a bit of powder if they want to control oil. Beet Shield is a wonderful sunscreen that I will forever repurchase -- a total 5 star product! Krave - The Beet Shield

FAB or drab? - Coconut Water Cream
I used up the whole product! So, what do I think? First Aid Beauty is known for having some great products, but I find this product to be neither hit or miss. It was just Okay. What it does: It’s and oil-free water cream meant to target dryness, fine lines and wrinkles. Skin Type: It claims to be for normal skin, but I think it’s a perfectly decent moisturizer to use in the Summer if you have combination/oily skin. How it Applies: I like this moisturizer because it’s very lightweight and absorbs quickly into the skin. I do have combination/oily skin and I really like that I don’t sweat this product out and it doesn’t make me look greasy. It’s a really nice product to use in the morning. I found I enjoyed this moisturizer more as part of my skincare routine before makeup since it is so lightweight. Why it’s not AMAZING: I don’t think it’s a particularly incredible formulation for targeting fine lines and wrinkles. I didn’t notice any change in the appearance of mine after using up the product. It’s not the best product for targeting dryness either. It absorbs really fast and I found that in my dry areas I sometimes felt the need to apply more layers. Final thoughts: It’s a nice product to use in the Summer for combination/oily skin. Really nice to use before applying makeup. If you don’t need your moisturizer to do any other job instead of JUST MOISTURIZING I would give it a try, but I wouldn’t expect anything more from this product. It’s not great for addressing wrinkles or dullness in the skin. FIRST AID BEAUTY - Hello FAB Coconut Water Cream
FIRST AID BEAUTY-Hello FAB Coconut Water Cream
A new product from my favorite k-beauty brand!
GLOW RECIPE - Banana Soufflé Moisture Cream What am I? A soothing lightweight moisturizer designed to calm and hydrate the skin. It claims to work for all skin types and addresses skincare concerns of redness or dry dehydrated skin. Key ingredient include banana to restore skin’s hydration, magnesium to calm inflammation, and central’s asiatica to heal dry irritated skin. Glow Recipe is a vegan and cruelty free k-beauty brand and the packaging is recyclable. The texture of this product is so lovely. It’s nice and light and while its marketed as a lightweight cream it almost has a thinness to it, you can stir the product around in the jar very easily. It’s definitely light and it sinks right into the skin upon application. What do I think about it? I’ve had this cream for about 10 days now and I’ve really been enjoying it so far! I bought it the day it launched because I’m a big fan of Glow Recipe and their watermelon line. It’s recommended that you apply this product as the last step on your routine, however I see the best results using this after my serums and before my moisturizer and night cream in my night routines. It might be ok to use this as the last step in your routine in warmer months but it’s winter here so I definitely need something thicker on top these days. My favorite thing about this product hands down is the fact that it smells just like banana laffy taffy! It smells amazing but you don’t smell it when it’s on your face, which is good for those of you who aren’t super jazzed by added fragrance. I think this has been a nice extra layer of hydration for me the past few days and the scent and texture make the experience really fun. It’s moderately priced at $39 for the 1.69oz jar. I feel like it’s just a tiny bit overpriced, for its level of importance in my routine. I don’t necessarily feel like this should be a new staple in my routine, but I’m definitely having a blast testing it out and I think you would enjoy it too, especially if you have oily or combo skin like me. I recommend you give this a try if you’re thinking of getting it!
GLOW RECIPE-Banana Soufflé Moisture Cream
I recently had the opportunity to try skincare goodies from fourthraybeauty. I quickly became obsessed with this perfectly-packaged brand, as they create absolutely gorgeous, clean beauty products at an insanely affordable price. All of their products are vegan and cruelty-free. Not to mention, the team at Fourth Ray is so sweet. — I’ll be reviewing additional products from the range soon, but I wanted to show some love to Fourth Ray’s Good Mood Gel Moisturizer. Ingredients in this beauty include watermelon extract, rose water, hyaluronic acid and marshmallow extract - and it smells just as sweet as you would expect. The gel formula is lightweight and a bit cushiony, absorbs quickly and wears so beautifully under foundation. It’s the perfect morning follow-up to their Cloud Bank Cleanser. It’s hard to find a moisturizer that’s hydrating enough for my dry skin and doesn’t feel heavy or greasy, but this one nails it. Best of all? It’s only $12. — I’m so impressed with Good Mood and with all of the products I’ve tried from Fourth Ray Beauty so far. They’ve definitely succeeded in their mission of making clean beauty attainable for everyone.
