Best Face Self Tanner
I love love this stuff!! I naturally have a medium-tan skin tone but I noticed my face was waaaay lighter than my body because I’ve been trying super hard to keep my face out of the sun. This gives such a natural tan overnight . All you have to do is mix 1-3 drops into your moisturizer (I use the First Aid cream) and put it on normally and wait overnight. It has a slight cucumber scent, but hasn’t broken me out yet! I’ve been using it for about a month and so far, so good!🤠

Low maintenance self tan
Even thought we aren’t going out and doing much these days, I’ve realized keeping up with my self care routine still makes me feel good. I feel put together and confident. I’ve been painting my nails, taking extra steps in my skincare and I’ve started self tanning again. Sunshine is hard to come by in Wisconsin Winter so I was really excited to test out the Self Tanning Water in medium and Self Tanning Drops in light. These products are super easy to use and much less messy than typical colored tanning mousses I use. I applied the tanning water with a mitt and it was quick and easy. The arm picture before and after you see in the next pic is with the medium shade. I used the light drops on my face and body as an even quicker self tan by mixing it into my face moisturizer and body cream. If I could have I would’ve got the drops in medium as well but they’re great for touching up a base tan. These products do have a slight self tan scent but nothing that bothers me. I definitely recommend these if you need a no fuss self tan! ISLE OF PARADISE - Self-Tanning Water ISLE OF PARADISE - Self Tanning Drops *these items were sent to me in exchange for an honest review
PERFECT SUN-KISSED TAN FOR BEGINNERS!
i have to say i am so impressed by this! as someone who is new to self tan (a year indoors and learning about the harms of sitting in the sun have converted me) i always fear the horrors of self-tan gone wrong: blotchiness, stained clothes, and an unnatural shade. BUT ISLE OF PARADISE - Self Tanning Drops gave none of that, instead providing such a beautiful natural glow! I got the shade Medium and used it on my body— after a shower (i exfoliated & shaved), I mixed about 1/2-3/4 of a dropper in with lotion per limb and spread evenly. It’s a clear serum and a very forgiving formula, many have said it’s hard to mess up (and a great tan on my first try proves their point!). After the lotion felt absorbed, I was able to put on clothes and go about my day as it developed— no stains anywhere! Didn’t have a scent and felt comfortable, just like I had applied lotion by itself. They say you can wash off after 4 hours or use it overnight, and I had left it in for almost 24 hours before showering. I had briefly rubbed my skin with a towel the next morning (before showering it off) and noticed slight staining but I was rubbing aggressively and noticed nothing rubbed off on my clothes. While showering, only a small amount was visible in the water and my tan remained pretty much the same— a natural looking glow just like my usual summer shade with no patchiness or odd dark spots. I had washed my hands well after applying it so they were slightly lighter, but not so much that I cared. It’s been 3 days now and a few showers later and the tan still looks great! Overall, this was a great, fool-proof experience and gave a perfect boost that genuinely looks like i just stepped out of the sun!
THE BEST SELF-TANNING DROPS✨
Recently, almost all of my time has been spent indoors socially distancing and self-quarantining so I’ve definitely lost some of my glow. One of the easiest and most effective ways of getting back that glow is adding a few drops of this self-tanning serum into my moisturizer. ISLE OF PARADISE - Self Tanning Drops There are 3 shades available: Light, Medium and Dark. I use the shade medium as I like to be more than just “subtly tan”. The consistency is a little thicker than i had expected, more of a gel-like serum rather than thin and super liquid. I add about 3-4 drops into my face moisturizer and I’ll apply it as the last step of my night time skin care routine. It’s effective and can also be mixed into body moisturizer for an all-over glow! Would you ever try self-tanning drops?

Changed my tanning game!
THE FOX TAN - Rapid Mist changed my life!!!!!❤️❤️❤️I am a SUPER pale human! Not an exaggeration. Until my younger sister introduced me to this gem I was doomed to stay pale and wear pants in the summer in TEXAS!!!! So pale I flowed in sunlight and not in a good way. Plus I am a mom and not perfectly sculpted which made it worse. I did begin a self tanner life style and swore by it until I had hard water to deal with, which is not friends with ST. MORIZ - Professional Fast Tanning Mousse and it’s A LOT of work to keep up with. Not being able to sweat or avoiding water is almost impossible with young children around. Anyway back to the featured product!!! The Fox Tan Rapid must is a game changer for pale ones and everyone else as well. It comes from Australia and is cruelty free and vegan! It has all these wonderful oils and extranets that make it smell sooooo good! It also leaves your skin soft while you tan. The process is super simple. Just spray on an Massage around where you desire to tan. If you a quite fair 10-12 minutes per side is plenty of time to notice a slight change for your first time depending on how high the UV rays are. You do want to make sure you are tanning between the times of 12-4 for optimal sun POwER! I always go at 12 because it gets 🥵 out there! The Value This particular item is 18.99 at Ulta and I was only able to order it online. I am sure there are other retailers, this is just where I got it. They have a line of products I have not yet tried but just after using this one I am compelled to try the rest!!!! In my Option this concoction is priceless but it is TOTALLY worth a twenty dollar bill! My Experience I have tried MOST forms of tanning in my past, from self tanning lotions, gradual tanners, foam, mist, I even did tanning beds quite often and never got a result. Even when I was using the lotions and enhancers after a tanning bed session. The self tanners seemed like a good fix but they transfer to your clothes if you sweat and there is soooo much prepping and up keep it’s exhausting. When my sister had me try hers my life was changed in a day, I was already confident enough to wear shorts in public. I am 32 and had not felt comfortable in shorts or any exposing clothing for over 20 years because of my paleness. So I never went out. When I say it changed my life it really did. I want to recommend it to everyone I see out trying to catch a tan. All skin tones would greatly benefit, it is not pale people specific 😂 My only ISSUE It is not an amazing spray nozzle......and it HAS to be upright for a good spray. Makes things difficult in some areas. My solution! I just sprayed some in my hand and rubbed it on. Works like a charm! A MUST BUY!!!THE FOX TAN - Rapid Mist 🙌🏻

Sunless Tanning At Home🌞🌞🌞
It's summer. I know. It's time to get tanned. But it's kind of hard for us to go out and get tanned at the beach. At least I would be worried about my health. And my skin get burted easily. So here are some tanning products you can use at home! If you want to get tanned without going out, you should give them a try! 1) CLARINS - Radiance-Plus Golden Glow Booster This is a self-tanner for both the face and body which is really easy to use! Just mix 2 to 3 drops with any skincare products to add an extra self-tanning benefit. I normally use it about 1 to 2 times a week on my face and mix it with my body lotion after showering. This Glow Booster offers really visible results and you can see a change in skin color after just two weeks of consistent use. 2) Palmer's Cocoa Butter Natural Bronze Gradual Tanning Body Lotion First of all, gradual tanners are unlike usual self-tanners which are more troublesome to use. Gradual tanners are actually just body lotion with a tanning effect. I really like the sweet chocolate scent of Palmer's Gradual Tanning Body Lotion. It's lightweight, spreads and absorbs easily, and contains vitamin E, so it's moisturizing but doesn't leave your skin greasy. 3) Le Tan Coconut Water Gradual Tanning Lotion This is my first gradual tanning lotion. It has a nice coconut scent, a heavier and thicker texture compared to Palmer's body lotion, but it also spreads easily. It can be used all year round. It offers better results when used together with the Golden Glow Booster. I will repurchase it! Note: Keep your skin dry after using a tanning product. If you're going to wear light-colored clothing, remember to wait until the lotion is fully absorbed. If you have any question regarding tanning at home, let me know😊 You can also share your own experience here!

EXTEND YOUR TAN FOR WEEKS
I LOVE opting for a spray tan opposed to damaging my skin out in the sun but they have a tendency to fade quicker than a natural tan... that’s when this product comes into play: ST.TROPEZ - Tan Optimiser Body Moisturiser This product extends my spray tan by at least an additional week! Any moisturizer after tanning can help increase the longevity but this one has helped me so much 💗

Battle of the self tanners 👙☀️
When I am tan, I feel so much more confident! Therefore I have tried many self-tanners over the years. These two are my favorites! For reference, I have pretty light skin that usually burns in the sun. I usually get the Loving Tan in “dark”, but switched to “ultra dark” for the summer. As far as color goes, from lightest to darkest I would say they go: St. Tropez, Loving Tan in “dark” and then Loving Tan in “ultra dark”. St.Tropez is the subtlest color, so this might be a good place to start for those who are new to fake tanning! I also think that St. Tropez has the least offensive smell. I HATE the smell of fake tan, and Loving Tan smells so gross to me (but it’s worth it!). Both brands of tan apply smoothly and evenly, and both make great mitts. I would also say that both of them last 1-1.5 weeks, and fade pretty evenly. Since I love the darker color on me right now, I am using Loving Tan on my body and St. Tropez on my face, hands and feet (where I don’t want the color to be as strong). I love both brands and definitely recommend them both!

My Mental Wellness Improved Through My Self AcceptanceWhen I was around 13 or 14 years old, I remember routinely taking one of my older sister’s black eyeliner pencils before school every morning. I’d arrive early so that I could slip away to the girl’s bathroom to apply a single black line to my eyelids. My parents didn’t allow me to wear any makeup at the time. Although this smudgy line on my eyelids didn’t make me look all that much different, I never felt comfortable at school without it. My teenage mind convinced myself that I needed some sort of cosmetic symbol in order to appropriately express my femininity. Up until that point in my life, society had told girls that looked like me - tall, Black, and with kinky hair - that we somehow weren’t as beautiful as the other girls. For far too long, I believed it too.Feb. 17
