Purito Cica sleeping mask
I’ve been on such a sleeping mask kick lately; they’re just so good! They provide extra hydration (which is perfect during winter time), and depending on which one you get, can treat certain concerns! One that I’ve had a pleasure to try is dermide cica barrier sleeping pack from @purito_official What piqued my interest right away is that the mask has cica which is known for its calming, anti inflammatory properties. It’s actually one of my all time favorite ingredients, because of how well it works to calm down my skin. The mask utilizes the ingredient well; it’s actually the second ingredient after water, which shows that there’s a lot of it in the mask! The application is amazing. The mask has gel / cream hybrid texture that makes it spread easily and sink in quick. I found that it’s best used on top of a cream or a moisturizer. When used alone (as a night cream), it didn’t provide enough hydration for me personally. Lastly, I think this mask broke me out (I started getting a lot of closed comedowns when I was testing this out). I’m sad to say this because I actually enjoyed how it made my skin look and feel. The cica in it was definitely doing its job at calming any inflammation I had. I think the culprits might be coconut oil and possibly shea butter, both of which are also high on the list. . All in all, despite the fact that it broke me out, I think this is a great night mask. It felt good on the skin and did it’s job very well. If you’re looking for something calming and soothing, and coconut oil is not a problem for you, this might be worth a to try! . . . . (Gifted)PURITO - Dermide Cica Barrier Sleeping Pack

One of my fave Water Creams
Krave - Oat So Simple Water Cream one of my most anticipated launches of 2019 was Krave’s OSSWC I was absolutely excited to hear that this moisturizer had less than 10 ingredients. If you’re a fan of Tatcha’s Water Cream you’ll be a fan of this one as well. The texture is light and gel like and sinks into your skin. I have combo/oily so this was perfect for me. My friends and I all grabbed one and we fell in love. The only downside (which I can kind of see as an upside as well) is that it’s pretty light. Liah has said that since it’s only less than 10 ingredients you can customize this moisturizer to your liking. Meaning you can add oils/aha/bha and even add their GBR to this to give your skin more of what it needs. This has been good to me and during the winter I did add and layer on serums/oils to help make more of a barrier. I already know this is going to be amazing during the summer! This retails at $28 which is not bad at all compared to other water creams out there.

Tonymoly Hydration Heroes set ($36) 💕My favorites so far are the I’m Green Tea Hand Cream, I’m Green Tea Gel Eye Patches, and Chok Chok No Wash Cleansing Water. The hand cream is lightly scented and feels buttery smooth. It’s been such a lifesaver on the plane and during my long travel days! The gel eye patches have also come in clutch; They have the perfect amount of essence and give my under eyes an anti-jet lag green tea kick. And the cleansing water is the perfect-sized micellar water for on-the-go makeup removal. 🍵 In my “good, but not repurchasing” category are the Chok Chok Watery Cream, a gel to water hydrator that has a lovely texture but is formulated with lemon seed oil - a possible trigger for sensitive skin. Similarly, the I’m Green Tea Mask Sheet felt a bit too thin and a bit too scented. 💕overall, pleased with the set so far.

Repurpose! I love this cream but I also love their glass packaging. It’s good for the environment, can be repurposed, even such a small jar and it can most importantly become new again if recycled. I used my YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Air-Whip Moisture Cream jar to plant 🌱 a mini plant

K-beauty Favorite from Purito
The PURITO - Dermide Cica Barrier Sleeping Pack was gifted to me but it has quickly become one of my favorite k beauty products. This product is meant to offer a deep rest to irritated skin. It helps to repair and improve the damaged skin barrier. It has a light gel like texture that looks like a cream. It’s very smooth and not sticky at all. It feels like a thick moisturizer which I really enjoy. It contains shea butter, ceramides, vegan squalene, hyaluronic acid, and coconut oil. I highly recommend this product to those with dry and sensitive skin, which is my skin type. When I apply this mask overnight, I wake up with moisturized and plump skin. I’d also recommend this to those of you who aren’t sensitive to coconut oil. I’ve been using this product for about a week and I love that it’s free of fragrance and essential oils. I also love that you can customize how much hydration you are looking for by layering one to three layers. It never clogs my pores or makes my skin feel oily. I definitely think it’s worth checking out, especially because it’s 2.) oz is product for $20. I’d rate this product a 4/5, docking off a star because it contains coconut oil which makes it hard for everyone to enjoy this product.
