90’s makeup 💫
here’s my attempt at a 90’s makeup look! I referenced photos of aaliyah and tyra banks, and I think it turned out pretty good! the main difference between my normal routine and a 90’s inspired one was small tweaks like, matte vs glowy skin, less contour, and brighter under eyes! I started by using my bronzer as a base color on my shadows. I love my Too Faced - Chocolate Matte Soleil Bronzer

I Only Say It Cause I’m Truly Genuine
CLINIQUE - Chubby Stick Shadow Tint for Eyes in Ample Amber. The color didn’t build well. Thinking of trying the purple because there is no such thing as a purple eyeshadow I won’t try, but this is a little too neutral for me. WANDER BEAUTY - Unlashed Volume & Curl Mascara I think this product might be called ‘unlashed’ because it makes your lashes disappear. I understand no makeup makeup but I don’t understand ‘no makeup makeup’ mascara. It’s undemocratic. What was Allure thinking? bareMinerals - Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 in Opal. It is not the kind of coverage I need right now with the breakouts from the PEACH & LILY - Power Calm Hydrating Gel Cleanser which has broken me out so badly. It is also too...shiny and summery. I am buying UOMA BEAUTY - Say What?! Foundation this weekend because it is better coverage. tarte - Shape Tape Concealer in 16N. Really great coverage but the texture clashes with the BareMinerals. Hoping tarte + UOMA is a better match. The color match is great though. OFRA - OFRA Highlighter I have become disillusioned with Rodeo Drive. I don’t know if it is old and needs to be replaced or I need to use a different highlighter under bronzer. Too Faced - Chocolate Matte Soleil Bronzer in Milk Chocolate. I need to figure out a better brush for this bronzer. Suggestions welcome. Has an initial faint chocolate scent that dissipates quickly. Lasts but does, eventually settle into pores. Another reason to switch to foundation. FENTY BEAUTY - Glossy Posse Mini Gloss Bomb Set in Ruby Milk. Great color in the tube but not intense enough for me when wearing. Very comfortable to wear, subtle scent that dissipates quickly. Easy to apply. If you like a more neutral lip, this would be a good holiday present for you or a friend. Title from Lauryn Hill. Hope you like the post on creating a 15 makeup look! What products do you do use when you are in a hurry?
🤎 brown-eyed girl 🤎
I used to hate my brown eyes! I felt they were boring and ugly, but once I learned to love them I started experimenting with different eye makeup to really make them pop! here I show one of my favorite looks, it’s super quick but looks like it took forever! a few tips before attempting this, or any look: 1. blend, blend, blend. even the most novice of makeup users can master eyeshadow if you remember to blend! 2. little by little. it’s better to add your colors little by little. you can always add more pigment if needed, but it’s hard to remove it without ruining the whole look if you apply too much. Too Faced - Chocolate Matte Soleil Bronzer I actually start this look (and most eye shadow looks) with applying a bronzer as a “base”. MAC - MAC Eyeshadow next I apply my bronze, glitter shade with my ring finger. I simply tap it into the center of my eyelid, careful to not transfer the color too high. RIMMEL - Exaggerate Smoke N' Shine Eye Liner I love these eyeliners and have found a brown shade really makes dark eyes look soft & sultry. I use this to draw a rough winged liner, then take the sponge on the other end to blend it out. LANCÔME - Monsieur Big Waterproof Mascara fave mascara, this maintains my lashes lifted and curled all day. the perfect last step! that’s it! literally takes hardly any time at all to really transform my eyes. hope this helps a fellow brown-eyed girl 🤎 #cheriepartner

hi everyone this is my first post so umm i’m not sure how all this works but here’s my makeup from today and all the products COVERGIRL - Clean Fresh Skin Milk Foundation so i picked this up the other day and i was pleasantly surprised, it’s very pretty and natural if you’re one to just do simple makeup i would definitely recommend this. it’s very dewy at first but it settles into a satin finish. overall i liked it but i personally like a little more coverage. e.l.f. - 16HR Camo Concealer i absolutely love this concealer but i actually like the hydrating one better. i barely have to use any powder to set it and it does last all day like it claims. the coverage is amazing and the finish is too. i have 2 and one says matte finish and the other doesn’t which is weird to me if anyone knows ab that lmk :) MAYBELLINE - Fit Me Loose Finishing Powder not my favorite powder but it’s also not the worst. i honestly just prefer translucent powder and when i just want to put just concealer and set it with this powder you can see a clear yellowish line lol so yeah don’t use it if you aren’t wearing foundation MORPHE - MORPHE Brontour honestly this sucks and i wouldn’t recommend, it might just be the shade i got but i’m not sure. i don’t really care for the concept of mixing your contour and bronzer together. BECCA - Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter i actually have the poured one but it’s discontinued and i couldn’t find it one here. i’m so sad because it’s absolutely beautiful and i won’t be able to get a new one. it’s literally the perfect gold highlight e.l.f. - Shadow Lock Eyelid Primer this is really nice and works very well but if you’re doing a black eyeshadow look it’s not gonna do anything. Juvia's PLACE - The Festival Palette I LOVE JUVIAS PALETTES!!! i literally swear by them. i have 4 and i love them all so much. the pigment is great and they blend beautifully. for this look i used the peachy shade and i mixed the gold and white shimmer shades for the lid. NYX - Vinyl Liquid Liner i really like this liner buttt i hate brush tips. felt is where it’s at. not much to say about this but after wearing it for a long time it starts cracking? idk i’ve only worn it a few times so far and i’ve noticed this once. ESTĒE LAUDER - Sumptuous Extreme Lash Multiplying Volume Mascara it’s very nice but the brush isn’t the best. if you aren’t careful you’ll have spider lashes. you honestly only need one coat and you’re done. NYX - Precision Brow Pencil i love this but the colors are terrible, the black looks dark brown and espresso is warm brown. if you have dark hair go for black. i also used the magic cosmetics rose lip oil and its amazing, it heals and protects. if you have any questions just ask :)
My daily makeup regimen and not crazy expensive either.MAYBELLINE - Fit Me Loose Finishing Powder MAYBELLINE - Fit Me Matte + Poreless Liquid Foundation MARC JACOBS BEAUTY - O!Mega Bronzer Perfect Bronzer REVOLUTION - Re-Loaded Lustre Lights Warm Highlighter Palette FENTY BEAUTY - Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer essence - Volume Booster Lash Primer essence - Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara
🌸 hint of pink eyeshadow tutorial 🌸
I’m really boring when it comes to makeup. neutrals are easy and flattering so I tend to gravitate towards the same basic looks. this, however, is a fun and easy way to incorporate a little bit of color without straying too far from my comfort zone! ps. the pink can be substituted for whatever color you’re wanting to experiment with! 1. I start by using some bronzer in my crease. I’m not a fan of a naked eye lid, especially when I go in with a full coverage face, so this is a subtle way to add dimension. 2. using NYX - Jumbo Eye Pencil in milk, I apply a little on the inside corners of my eyes. I’ve found doing this helps the color really pop! 3. I used LANCÔME - Monsieur Big Heart-Shaped Eyeshadow Palette for my pink shade. this palette is perfect for a neutral obsessed person who wants to dip their toes into colors. very pink but with some nice neutrals for transition. 4. to finish the eye look, I used my SHISEIDO - Shiseido Eyelash Curler (HG status) Kaja - Wink Stamp Wing Eyeliner Stamp & Pen pen, and LANCÔME - Monsieur Big Waterproof Mascara I’ve repurchased this mascara a couple times, it’s perfect for maintaining a curl (even in the southern humidity!), adds volume, and lengthens beautifully. probably my favorite waterproof formula ever!! that’s it! super super easy. anyone can do it!

Editorial ULTRA COLOR Mask Eye Look
Don’t you guys just love experimenting with color? I figure it’s only a matter of time before we start seeing more editorial eyeshadow looks paired with masks. I went kind of crazy here with this one but I ended up loving it a lot! Wouldn’t wear it to the grocery store though... 😂 Here’s my how to and my thoughts on each product I used: Brows. Brush out your brow hairs. Apply a tinted brow gel and a brow pencil to your liking. I used e.l.f. - Ultra Precise Brow Pencil e.l.f. - Wow Brow Gel these are wonderful drugstore options. I have repurchased each of them multiple times and tbh I don’t really understand overspending on brow products. Base. Lightly conceal your eyelid + undereye. I blended it out with my finger. I used Milk MAKEUP - Flex Concealer which is one of my favorites, however I am no longer supporting milk makeup in light of their past racist actions in their internal corporate culture. I then set the concealer on my eyelid with a neutral powder. The craze begins. I am using the URBAN DECAY - Electric Pressed Pigment Palette which is a holy grail of mine. Highly recommend this if you can get your hands on one. It lasts forever and the pigment is insane. I started out with the shade “jilted” blended out on my lower lash line up into a mini wing with e.l.f. - Eyeshadow "C" Brush —east drugstore brush, I like it a lot. The craze continues. Then I took the shade “gonzo” on MORPHE - M421 Mini Concealer Brush —I used this brush as a liner brush— to outline my top liner and my crease for later. Then I blended the blue out upward with my favorite blending brushes MORPHE - M433 Pro Firm Blending Fluff Brush MORPHE - M456 Mini Firm Blending Brush . GLITTER! I took the #Tarte - Glitter Liner[products]#[ThreeStars] which is OK IMO but I don’t support Tarte anymore and this burns my eyes. This is the only glitter liner I had tho. Sorry. I took this to line my crease, I have hooded eyes so I went high, and I used it as an outer liner and connected them. Even crazier. Then I took MORPHE - M421 Mini Concealer Brush and wet it with MILANI - Make It Last Prime + Correct + Set Setting Spray , dipped it in “jilted” and covered my eyelid with it. Liner + Lashes: Then I took URBAN DECAY - Perversion Waterproof Fine-Point Eye Pen which is my NEW FAV! I lined over our blue line from earlier and drew high and low lines on the wing to leave space for the glitter to poke through a little diamond. I then finished the look with Milk MAKEUP - Kush Waterproof Mascara —this is awful, don’t use it—and some extra lil lines I found portrayed lashes in an abstract way. I finished up my repeating on the opposite side with different colors. It’s not perfect, but it’s fun! #CheriePartner

2020 Summer “Sweet Treats” Themed Makeup
For those of us who live in the Southern Hemisphere, Summer is just around the corner, and things are already heating up, and it’s not just the weather, honey! In the next few months, half the world will be heading into springtime, and that brings fresh fashion, bright colours, and fierce makeup with it. Here’s how you can create a quick, easy, “sweet treats” themed makeup look to match your shining summertime personality. Complexion Work: For my base makeup, I used REVOLUTION - Fast Base Stick Foundation in shade F3. I concealed with the help of REVOLUTION - Conceal & Define Full Coverage Concealer in shade C1. I contoured my cheeks using Revlon Sculpt & Highlight Contour Kit, in shade light/medium. I then applied a soft layer of Juvia's PLACE - The Saharan Blush Palette shade Leena. I also used NYX - Strobe of Genius Holographic Stick in “Mermaid Amour” for an iridescent shine. Colourful Sweet Treats Eye Makeup: Moving on to the eyes, I used theMORPHE - The James Charles Palette for the whole look. I started off by packing on “Pinkity Drinkity” onto the inner half of my eyelid and crease. I then took a light dab of “Skip”, then more Pinkity Drinkity on the same brush to deepen the shade slightly and make it more of a soft but vibrant pink. For darker skin tones, you may want to use more Skip to create a brighter colour. Next up is shade “518”, which I took on a small blending brush and packed onto the outer corner of my eyelid, sweeping inward diagonally toward my lash line. Similarly, I pulled that orange shade outwards towards the tail of my brow, and softly blended it into my pink shadows. I also pulled some of 518 onto the outer third of my lower lash line. To complete the lower lash line, I used shade “Bee” to bring some lightness and brightness to the inner portion of my eye, blending it into 518 along the way. For a final pop of summery colour, I packed shade “Hello” onto a small pencil brush, and spritzed it with a setting spray, before packing it onto the inner corner of my eye. The super shiny effect of the shadow and its lustrous, tropical colour really added a fun and fabulous edge to the themed look. I finished the eyes off with a little black eyeshadow on the outer half of my upper lash line, and some MAYBELLINE - Volum' Express The Falsies Waterproof Mascara on my lashes, and there you have it! A quick, easy summer makeup look for all levels of makeup lovers. Would you like to see some “how to guides” for more wearable, colourful looks? Comment what colours you’d like to learn how to wear during the daytime!

My favorite eye makeup 😍
I love a super punchy warm orange look! The Coral Obsessions mini palette from Huda Beauty is perfect for that! HUDA BEAUTY - Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette For this look with a fluffy eyeshadow brush I blended shade 6 into the whole crease and shade 2 into the outer corner. Then I gathered shade 9 on a flat, stiff brush and wet it with MAC - MAC Prep + Prime Fix+ Finishing Mist (or water or any setting spray you have) and I pack that onto the entire lid. It’s super simple and takes only a few minutes! Add some mascara (I’m using Rodial - Glamolash Mascara XXL ) and you’re all done! #cheriepartner

Honey Tones With Urban Decay
Urban Decay Stay Naked Weightless Foundation Stay Naked Weightless Liquid Foundation is fantastic for my skin. It’s light to medium coverage matt finish foundation with a reflective pigment. My shade is 61NN, making it easy to look natural, moisturizing for all skin types and vegan. No nasties in this foundation, no parabens, and no palm oil - the foundation has a silk liquid feel, glides on smoothly, and stays in place throughout the day. Fifty shades to choose from, you can guarantee a match to your skin color. Urban Decay Naked Honey Eyeshadow Palette I love this palette because of the shade range. It’s the best palette Urban Decay has ever created. The texture is good, heavily pigmented creamier, and easy to apply - such a long-lasting formula with no fallout. Just like it says, twelve golden honey shades, three different textures just like the spotlight palette, creamy, silky mattes, smooth shimmers, and sparkly metallic eye shadows. To create this look, I used Keeper all over the lid and under the lashes and then a mixture of Hive and Drip on the outer edge and in the socket of my eye, and I finished with Sting in the teardrop of my eye. For an interview or casual day look, I love the Naked Honey Palette. To go a bit more hardcore, I might add some pink shades from my other palette from Urban Decay Naked Heat Eyeshadow Palette.

🌹pat mcgrath divine rose i review 🌹
i used this palette for the first time today and unsurprisingly, i love it. it’s so versatile – whether you‘re going for an everyday look or more dramatic glam, this palette has it. lighting – indirect sunlight application – fluffy brush, small blending brush, chisel brush, and fingers skin tone & undertone – light with neutral undertones other products used (eye only) – pretty VULGAR - Uncaged Eyeshadow Primer / Kokie - Be Bright Liquid Concealer / tarte - SEA Surfer Curl Volumizing Mascara texture & pigmentation – okay so WOW. these are so creamy and buttery. they glide on effortlessly, whether on a brush or fingers. the pigment is incredible. the mattes are bold yet buildable. and the shimmers. oh, those shimmers. never before have i applied a SINGLE layer of a shimmer and been happy with the result, i always have to build and build and build. but these are something else. otherworldly. then there’s the signature pat mcgrath shift shades. the iridescent, elusive color that you can’t quite pin down because it’s neither, it’s both. staying power – oh, it stays & slays. price – 125.00 usd. i bought this as part of a duo with divine rose ii as well as during a sale, so i paid considerably less. however, i do think it’s worth the money. the pans are larger than in other eyeshadow palettes i’ve used and because a little goes a long way in this case, i know this will last long. today, i used – velouria astral solstice vr rose venus refined gold 002 skinshow nude
