okay, so I didn’t know if I had anything to contribute regarding mask makeup, BUT I did start doing my makeup a little different AND got complimented on it while wearing a mask, so that qualifies right?!
essentially, the name of the game is 👁 e y e s 👁, since that’s the main feature you see when wearing a mask (as you should be!)
here’s what I’ve been using lately:

Loving the HOURGLASS - Ambient Lighting Edit pallet! It’s so powdery soft and gives you a blurred/filter effect in real life. Love it.

Glowy makeup in literally 10 minutes
Okay, so I literally forgot that I had a Zoom call this morning that I needed to be on camera for and literally had to get glammed up in 10 minutes. I have acne-prone skin and always need my makeup to cover up my breakouts and scars, so concealer is a must for me. Since using Zoom, I’ve noticed that mascara makes a huge difference and can truly elevate your look by lifting up your lashes. Bronzer and blush also make big impacts in the way your skin looks on Zoom; sometimes I’ve found that I look ghostly pale if I don’t add a little color to my cheeks. To save time, I skipped foundation and just spot-treated with concealer (thankfully I didn’t have that many spots and bumps to cover up today lol). I also don’t use powder or lipstick if I’m in a rush - and sometimes I forget to get rid of my mascara smudges (which I definitely did today lol)
Here’s my 10-minute routine and the steps/products that I consider essential:
Prep: Glossier Futuredew oil serum on my high-points to make my skin look glowy. I don’t recommend using a lot of this product or applying it all over the face since it can be thick and oily. Applying a little on the high-points is how I’ve avoided breakouts.
Concealer: Fenty Beauty Match Skin Stix in French Vanilla. I applied it to my under-eyes and then around the spots on my chin and forehead to brighten and conceal. Since it’s a stick formulation, I like to blend it out with a damp beauty sponge otherwise I find it hard to blend out and get a natural-looking finish. This product is also really good for Zoom because of its matte finish, which helps eliminate any the glare from your computer looking like shine.
Mascara: Marc Jacobs Beauty Mascara delivers fuller, voluminous lashes in one sweep because of its fluffy hourglass wand. It’s one of my favorite mascaras of all-time and really transforms my lashes.
Blush: Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Highlighter Wand in the shade Pinkgasm, which is a liquid blush and the most shimmery, gorgeous pure pink shade and blends into the skin so nicely and easily. I’ve found that a little goes a long way, which is great when you’re in a pinch, otherwise it can be a bit much. I love to apply it with my fingers.
Highlight: Saie Beauty Dew Balm in Rosy Gold, which is actually the worst product to use in a pinch; it’s really hard to get the salve-like balm out of the tube. But once it’s out and melted down from your fingers, it creates the dreamiest glow.
Bronzer: I always do bronzer last in case I don’t have time for it, but I love the glow my skin gets from Hourglass’ powder Ambient Lighting Bronzer, which creates a natural-looking contour and never looks artificial or caked on. If there’s time, I like to apply a little to the creases of my eyes for a little definition and faux eyeshadow moment. Thankfully I had time today because it made me look so good.

Dewy and flash- friendly Natural Makeup
I’ve always loved fuss free and natural looks so im sharing my go-to no makeup look that you can do when you’re on the go but still want to look purrty🍭
it Cosmetics - it Cosmetics CC+ Cream SPF 50+ one of my fave natural bases as it has no flashbacks, and decent dewy coverage, long-lasting on my oily skin and has spf50! Loving the pump bottle too which is mess- free and travel- friendly.
benefit - Benefit Tinted Cheek & Lip Stain i love this color on my medium skin tone and its very long lasting too very apt for mask- wearing times as they won’t rub off easily and this stays rain or shine. A tiny dot goes a loong way too and i use this for my lips and cheeks.
ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Dipbrow Pomade i lightly dip my brush for that natural look on the brows and top it with..
PATRICK TA - Major Brow Shaping Wax i could see why this is a hyped product and it stays a long time too. Only con is you need to find the technique that works for you especially on how wet the brush should be to scrape the wax off and deposit the right amount on the brows.
innisfree - No Sebum Mineral Powder i use this to set my makeup and seal my undereye concealer. It also doubles as a dry shampoo!
L'ORÉAL - Telescopic Waterproof Mascara i see why this mascara is very praised and it’s because it stays on when you want it on and gives that covetable lashes for dayzzz
NYX - NYX Retractable Eyeliner i use the beigey color to open up the eyes by putting it on the water line. It glides on well and stays put i have no complaints..
MAC - MAC Eyeshadow in cork. I use this for the nose line and as bronzer on the go. I love that it’s matte and taupey and also long- lasting with the packaging perfect for travel.
NARS - Radiant Creamy Concealer i use this as my undereye and blemish concealer. For the undereyes, i smudge a little peach cream blush, usually NARS - The Multiple in Siam. Just a litttttllle bit to serve as corrector before the concealer. This also avoids the reverse raccoon 👀
MAC - MAC Prep + Prime Fix+ Finishing Mist this serves both as my priming and finishing spray and i love that it serves its purpose but yet to find a cheaper alternative because im aware that there may be a nice dupe out there.. 🤔
Thats it! Excited to know your no makeup go-tos too!🍬

Makeup For My Graduation Photoshoot!!! 🎓💖✨
First of all, congrats to all my fellow 2020 graduates!!!
I recently did a graduation photoshoot with my family and so I wanted to show you the makeup I did for it! I wanted to look like myself but more enhanced and defined.
I started with MAKE UP FOR EVER - Full Cover Concealer to cover any blemishes on my face. It has a super thick and high coverage formula that lasts all day (it’s literally waterproof!) and is perfect for pinpoint concealing! I skipped foundation because I wanted my makeup to look more skinlike in the photos and not super flat.
I then defined my brows with MAYBELLINE - Brow Ultra Slim Defining Eyebrow Pencil . It’s a great dupe for Anastasia’s brow wix and any other more “expensive” skinny brow pencil. It’s not too pigmented where you accidentally like like you use a sharpie to draw on your brows. It has the perfect in-between pigment and wax so it lasts all day and adds thickness to the brows. I used benefit - 24-Hour Brow Setter Clear Brow Gel to set my brows. It’s literally super glue for brows! This is a clear gel that keeps my hairs looking fluffy and combed up all day.
I used the bronzer and highlight fromTOM FORD - Soleil Contouring Compact to add some warmth, glow and definition to the face. It has a super smooth powder formula that doesn’t look like makeup once on the skin! It blends in perfectly and seamlessly so it looks just like skin. For blush I used CHANEL - ROUGE COCO Lip Blush in 420 for a warm berry glow on the cheeks. This is a gel like formula that is super cheer but buildable. It also leaves a nice glassy sheen on the skin!
To set the concealer and the parts of my face that gets shiny throughout the day, I used rms beauty - "Un" Powder . It makes my skin look satin smooth and doesn’t let any shine come through! It also doesn’t have flashback (if you apply only a sheer layer on the skin).
For eyeshadow, I used TOM FORD - Cream and Powder Eye Color in Naked Bronze. It’s a beautiful combination of a creamy, moussey bronze cream shadow and a sheer but super glittery gold powder shadow top coat. It lasts all day and looks suuper flattering! I always get questions on what I have on my eyesqhen I wear it. I used my holy-grail favorite DollyWink - DollyWink Liquid Eyeliner to line my eyes for extra definition. It has a super fine tip for extra precision and the formula is inky black and doesn’t budge at all! For the biggest, baddest lashes, I used LANCÔME - Monsieur Big Waterproof Mascara . It adds so much volume and length to my lashes and the waterproof formula makes it stay on all day without any smudging.
For the lips, I wanted a shade similar to my natural lip color so I went for COLOURPOP - Ultra Blotted Lip from Pony’s Collaboration in Holly Lolly. It’s a beautiful warm pink!

🤎 brown-eyed girl 🤎
I used to hate my brown eyes! I felt they were boring and ugly, but once I learned to love them I started experimenting with different eye makeup to really make them pop! here I show one of my favorite looks, it’s super quick but looks like it took forever! a few tips before attempting this, or any look:
1. blend, blend, blend. even the most novice of makeup users can master eyeshadow if you remember to blend!
2. little by little. it’s better to add your colors little by little. you can always add more pigment if needed, but it’s hard to remove it without ruining the whole look if you apply too much.
Too Faced - Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer I actually start this look (and most eye shadow looks) with applying a bronzer as a “base”.
MAC - MAC Eyeshadow next I apply my bronze, glitter shade with my ring finger. I simply tap it into the center of my eyelid, careful to not transfer the color too high.
RIMMEL - Exaggerate Smoke N' Shine Eye Liner I love these eyeliners and have found a brown shade really makes dark eyes look soft & sultry. I use this to draw a rough winged liner, then take the sponge on the other end to blend it out.
LANCÔME - Monsieur Big Waterproof Mascara fave mascara, this maintains my lashes lifted and curled all day. the perfect last step!
that’s it! literally takes hardly any time at all to really transform my eyes. hope this helps a fellow brown-eyed girl 🤎

5 MIN GO-TO EYE LOOK✨ #CheriePartner
Some days I value sleep over getting ready but that doesn’t mean I have to opt for no makeup. Here is a simple eye look I create on those days where I am rushing/running late. The best part is it is travel friendly as it doesn’t require an additional eyeshadow pallet— just bronzers as the eyeshadow.
To create:
(Follow along with video)
Products:
MARC JACOBS BEAUTY - O!Mega Bronzer Coconut Perfect this product is the perfect contour shade for myself as it is a cool neutral tone. It contours the crease subtly.
benefit - Hoola Bronzer Bash Value Set (in caramel). This product is a smooth and buttery formula that blends out the eye makeup with adding a touch of warmth back in.
URBAN DECAY - Naked Illuminated Shimmering Powder for Face and Body I LOVE THIS HIGHLIGHTER!! It is extra shimmery adding so much sparkle to any look. Also there is no fallout which is a plus.
L'ORÉAL - Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascarathis mascara does a good job at adding length and separating the lashes for a voluminous effect. I do not experience clumping with this product.
What kind of makeup looks do you go for when you are short on time? Eyeshadow, liner etc⬇️⬇️

Another look on the versatile ABH Soft Glam palette. Can you tell that this is my favorite palette? Ha
So far I was able to make a rose gold and a bronze look with this. I also reach for this palette daily. This is also an eyeshadow palette I hit pan on.
I used:
Orange soda
Burnt orange
Rustic
Tempera
Cyprus Umber as eyeliner
I have Dose of Colors gloss on my lips in the shade of “Made you blush”
What is your holy grail eyeshadow palette?

Colourpop Sunflower Collection 💛🌻☀️ // A Look
Ugh I am convinced that I need to get an actual camera because I am so pissed that the yellow part in this eye look didn’t show up on camera... my iPhone 10 didn’t pick up the details, but I’ll share this look anyway 🙄 I did an eye look where it is yellow at the top and fades in to a warm brown like a sunflower, but this looks like just a typical baked browns look. Next time I will create a look that is more yellow based so maybe it will actually show up...
Anyway, I finally used Colourpop’s new Lil Ray of sunshine palette. The eyeshadows were really powdery and had a lot of kickback, but as I mentioned on my previous post that it doesn’t really bother me because it usually means that the shadows are highly pigmented and it is true...it’s just messy. As an eyeshadow with a lot of kickback, these had minimal fall out. I had to build first row because it hardly showed up on my skin tone, but I love how buildable this eyeshadow is. The creme gel liners were even better on the eyes than when I swatched it. The super shock shadows are up to par with Colourpop’s quality as always. I tried using one of the super shock shadows as a cheek highlighter and while it is beautiful on the lids, it is chunky on the cheeks so it’s not as versatile as other super shock shadows. Overall I enjoyed using these products and I can see myself using this on a regular for the rest of the summer
I used:
-Happy place (transition)
-Sunnies (crease)
-Chillin (all over the lid and lower lash)
-Sun giant (inner and outer lid)
-Super shock shadow in Flower child (Mid lid)
-Creme gel liner in Sunnyvale (to tightline lower lash)
-Super shock shadow in “In harmony” (inner corner)
I used the “it’s always sunny” gloss by itself because I didn’t want to put too much attention on the lips. Love this gloss! It’s a clear gloss with glitter chunks and it smells so good.
Thank you for checking this out. I will create another look that focuses more on the yellow eyeshadows in the future

🌸 hint of pink eyeshadow tutorial 🌸
I’m really boring when it comes to makeup. neutrals are easy and flattering so I tend to gravitate towards the same basic looks. this, however, is a fun and easy way to incorporate a little bit of color without straying too far from my comfort zone!
ps. the pink can be substituted for whatever color you’re wanting to experiment with!
1. I start by using some bronzer in my crease. I’m not a fan of a naked eye lid, especially when I go in with a full coverage face, so this is a subtle way to add dimension.
2. using NYX - Jumbo Eye Pencil in milk, I apply a little on the inside corners of my eyes. I’ve found doing this helps the color really pop!
3. I used LANCÔME - Monsieur Big Heart-Shaped Eyeshadow Palette for my pink shade. this palette is perfect for a neutral obsessed person who wants to dip their toes into colors. very pink but with some nice neutrals for transition.
4. to finish the eye look, I used my SHISEIDO - Shiseido Eyelash Curler (HG status) Kaja - Wink Stamp Wing Eyeliner Stamp & Pen pen, and LANCÔME - Monsieur Big Waterproof Mascara I’ve repurchased this mascara a couple times, it’s perfect for maintaining a curl (even in the southern humidity!), adds volume, and lengthens beautifully. probably my favorite waterproof formula ever!!
that’s it! super super easy. anyone can do it!
