As you may or may not have noticed the older product and packaging is in the photo. Yes, those are the products I used. Yes, they have updated since then. Would I repurchase this? No. Does the updated products change my mind? No. These products were “okay”. They were hydrating and had a nice feel, and I didn’t hate them in the short term. However, I didn’t feel they did enough to warrant their price point. Both myself and my mom tried these products, and neither one of us were wowed. So on younger skin and a bit older skin this was just a huge miss. We need more than just some glycerin no matter what age! These products had and have some very very good ingredients in their lists. However they are also in there rubbing elbows with some not so great ingredients. Quite frankly for the price of these products I expect more. There are a lot of better products out there in my humble opinion.

Product for Eye Fatigue
We all have one or two specific skin concerns, today I’m sharing my current issue. With all that is going on in the world sometimes I have trouble falling asleep due to my mind not being able to shut down and relax. Therefore, my under eye area looks atrocious in the morning and doing zoom conferences is embarrassing. Hence my miracle product GLAMGLOW - BRIGHTEYES Illuminating Anti-Fatigue Eye Cream 🙌🏼! To begin I have oily combination skin and under eye areas begging for some love! I’ve been using under eye products for over an year, more so because my mom told me it’s better to begin early than later. This product was actually gifted to me by our very own Cherie! It retails for $39.00 (15 ml) that can be purchased on Glamglow’s website. This is actually my first Glamglow item I’ve ever used and so far I have to say I am pretty impressed with the brand product and packaging. I am going to be completely honest and have only been using this Brighteyes cream for two weeks! But the fact that in two weeks I can tell it’s a damn good product then you know it’s true! I dad a nickel size with my ring finger after I moisturized and before applying my lash serum. Remember to always be extra gentle in this area! The product is a white cream with some pink iridescent sparkles making it a very pretty addition to your face during your nighttime routine. It does not have a scent which is a bonus! You could almost say this is a lifesaver because your undereye area is so delicate and after a few days of using it consistently in my night time skincare routine I see my eyes looking less tired and perky! I bet with more time in my routine it will look like I slept 8-9 hours per night! We all have a lot going on and need products that work for us! Invest your money in items that work and that is how I feel about this item. I will purchase this item with my own money once I’m done with it. This product has specific ingredients that make it amazing such as caffeine, hyaluronic acid, and peptides! These items energize, hydrate, and revitalize this super sensitive under eye area. If you recommend other eye creams for battling fatigue, let me know down below!

"You look very well" after staying up late😉
Modern life is pretty busy, no matter for work or study, or even night-clubbing, it becomes harder for people to sleep early, not to mention distractions like phones and computers. Others can always tell whether we have a good sleep or not. Sometimes when I feel reluctant to use concealer to hid dark circles or found more dead skin on my face, I just search online for some tips and this is a simple collection of hacks that helped me get through a long night. Soothing Eye Gel I found this in a supermarket actually. There is one thing people ignore: the beauty section in supermarkets; that is not just a place for some cheap dupes. This pair of eye gel patch is reusable and works super well for me. I put it in the fridge before applying it in the middle of the night when I get tired eyes. I do it several times by gently pressing them on my eyelids to make sure they are in good contact. I also use it before bed so that I won't get puffy eye when I wake up the second morning. This cute eye gel patch is so cute and its cucumber slice pattern and colour is so lovable and cute. Not expensive at all and worthy to have. LA ROCHE-POSAY - Thermal Spring Water Face Mist This spray is another secret weapon I use from time to time when I work on something for the whole night. It contains purely the thermal water and minerals to provide hydration when I need it. Screens and night time make our face dryer and this handy spray keeps me away from it and makes me feel refreshed again. This water spray is every in pharmacy, just don’t forget to grab one next time. Benzac Daily Facial Moisturiser I found this moisturiser in the corner of a pharmacy. This labels as a daily moisturiser but I always use it as a mattifier. My oily face is just so annoying especially at night; sometimes when I work on something, my glasses fall down from my nose just because it becomes way too oily. I know it sounds ridiculous but I have to say thank you to this moisturiser. It is super lightweight and can control excess oil to provide an overnight mattifying effect without overdrying. What astonishes me is its oil-absorbing ability and it doesn't strip my face at all. If you can easily have an oily face when doing some works at night, trust me, this will become your holy grail.

The Floral Hydro Eye Gel Cream This is a watery gel cream infused with narcissus bulb extract and Hyaluronic acid. It’s very light and clearly a gel. I love so many Mamonde products and was really excited to love this one too... but it didn’t really work out for me. ☁️ The fragrance was too strong and being an eye cream this was a deal breaker. ☁️I also wanted this to absorb quicker but it stayed in a gel-like state for a while. ☁️I had issues with my contacts the next morning. . I tried this eye cream 4 times and I think it’s safe to say it really isn’t meant for me. I think I will stick with the rose line from Mamonde and pass on this one.

Mamonde Floral Hydro Eye Gel Cream
🌸 Mamonde Gifted me the Mamonde Floral Hydro Eye Gel Cream 🌸 What is it? A cooling, lightweight gel texture eye cream 🌸 Call Outs Free of: Mineral Oil, Parabens, and Sulfates Vegan 🌸 Who’s it for? Great for anyone who’s prone to milia, oily lids, or just prefers a lighter texture eye cream. 🌸What’s in it? This product contains hydrating ingredients such as glycerin, hyaluronic acid, and Dutch Master narcissus flower extract. These humectants draw in moisture to plump and rejuvenate the eye area. This eye cream does contain alcohol and fragrance so if those are ingredients you’re sensitive to this product may not be for you. I personally did not experience any irritation using this product. 🌸My thoughts? I liked it! I typically prefer richer textures and I didn’t think this product would be enough moisture for me but my under eyes stayed hydrated throughout the day and I didn’t look quite as exhausted as I normally look and have looked my entire life. I also tend to have a problem with my eye makeup kind of...sliding around and pilling but I did not have that issue while I was using this! The texture is very light and cooling, similar to the Tatcha water cream (but for your eyes). The eye cream has a light, fresh scent to it...not cucumber per se but cucumber esque if that makes sense. This product is also $32 and you get a TON of eye cream, it honestly looks like a moisturizer. I think this product will be especially great during the summer.

𝐀𝐇𝐂 𝐀𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐲𝐞 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝟕 | 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐢-𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬/𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: A fast-absorbing, powerful anti-aging eye/face cream that is formulated with naturally-derived ingredients to nourish, hydrate and combat signs of aging. 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: Formulated with Collagen 21 (Hydrolyzed Collagen) and multi peptides(25 peptides) to restore youthful smoothness. A.H.C is not famous in the US yet but it has good reputation in skincare products in Asia. In fact, I was introduced to this brand by Korean guests we had in the hotel where I previously worked for. I was given some AHC products they personally loved and i did enjoy using them! The list of ingredients is very long. Niacinamide, Gluthatione, Shea butter, many ferments, many peptides, collagen, ceramides, lactic acid ... quite impressive. Super sensitive gals beware! This has tons of essential oils/fruit extracts. The cream feels light and spreadable, and very soft once applied, it is not absorbed very fast, but the skin does not feel sticky either. It also has a very soft and pleasant floral fragrance, which fades after application. I have enjoyed using this cream as moisturizer over the years. At 22, I can’t really speak regarding the claims of reducing wrinkles. But it has a very good hydrating effect and can truly improve the elasticity and moisture level of the skin. With that said, it works to prevent new wrinkles from forming but will not help diminish current ones (other users said the same!). This is one of the moisturizing creams I can trust during colder months. It doesn’t feel too occlusive and delivers just enough hydration I need. Overall, the AHC cream is a good choice for hydrating purposes, given the low price. However, if you are looking for a eye cream with great anti-aging effect, it may not make wonders for you. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐬: ~ hydrating/moisturizing ~ doesn’t feel heavy ~ can be used all over the face ~ very affordable 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬: ~ doesn’t deliver much anti-aging benefits ~ FRAGRANCE ~ long ingredient list —————————- 𝗪𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐈 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐭? Absolutely ! 𝗪𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐈 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞? No. finishing my last bottle before I go for fragrance-free products! 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: 4/5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Caring for the eyes: Heavy Makeup & Dark Circles
Eyes are one of my favorite things to play up during a make up look. Especially with everyone wearing masks right now (this was written during a pandemic for those of you in the future. Hi. Hello. 💕). I suffer from severe dark circles and little fine lines under my eyes so I like to conceal that under concealer and eyeshadow almost daily. But with that heavy make up also comes caring for the delicate skin under the eyes. For that I use two key products: First is the CeraVe - Eye Repair Cream . This was a recommendation from Skincare by Hyram on YouTube. For $15.99 you get .5 oz of product (which is typical for an eye cream). I LOVE this because the second ingredient is niacinamide which will really help lighten up any dark circles from lack of sleep, stress, and life. It also contains ceramides and hyaluronic acid which will help add moisture and hydration to the skin. It’s a very lightweight cream consistency so it doesn’t feel too heavy on the eyes for daily use under make up. If you wear heavy make up on the daily you have to give a lot of hydration to the area so the make up glides on better and has less of a chance to collect into lines. It’s also just as important at night time keep the area moisturized so the elasticity stays good for as long as possible. The next time I do is go in with a drop of GOOD MOLECULES - Pure Cold-Pressed Rosehip Seed Oil . For $10 you get .44 oz of product. I prefer this over other rosehip oils because it absorbs really well and doesn’t make my oily skin feel greasy. Rosehip oil contains antioxidants that help target visible signs of aging as well as sun damage. It promotes cell regeneration for smoother looking skin as well as supports elasticity. All things you want for the delicate, thin under eye area. I also think taking my make up off daily and cleansing can be a little harsh on the area so I like to use a drop of an oil to sooth and moisturize the area so it’s not left feeling stripped. I’ve been using this daily for a few months now and I feel like my eye make up goes on a lot smoother than it did before hand. I still have concealer settling into my fine lines under my eyes but it’s not nearly as bad as it has been in the past (and it’s also expected. I have fine lines, it’s going to settle no matter what). I’ve seen a slight difference in my dark circles but nothing too drastic yet. I feel like niacinamide does wonders but it does take a while to show results so I will continue with this routine. Both products are super inexpensive so I think they are definitely worth a buy to try out.
