😫 Hate It
This moisturizer has micro-bead things that the lady at the Chanel counter said we’re going to work wonders... they didn’t. This cream moisturized a bit, but no where near enough even for my oily skin. My skin was so dehydrated it would absorb my foundation making my pores stand out... how about no. Plus it would ball up on me. I wasn’t a fan of this at all.
This or that? It's really a dry skin saver
My skin type: Dry to combination Chanel hydra beauty crème CHANEL - HYDRA BEAUTY GEL CRÈME Hydration Protection Radiance Price: $87 Dry skin can be said one of the easiest skin types to be cared with. The only thing you need to do is hydration. As a dry to combination skin, I am also looking for a face cream to provide enough hydration for my skin. The weather is getting warmer, and my skin is starting to become less dry. Until last month, I was still struggling with dry patches. Chanel hydra beauty crème is the last step of my skincare. Chanel Research harnessed this power in exclusive Camellia Alba PFA*, a remarkably pure ingredient that encourages skin’s natural ability to restore and retain moisture for a smooth, radiant appearance. Its texture is a thick creamy type. It’s not oily at all. After applying it, rinse it with the finger. It will be absorbed immediately. Then I can feel that my skin drinks enough water. Its antioxidant function is excellent. And my skin was smoothed and plumped after using it. Clarins Multi-Active Night Cream - Normal to Combination Skin CLARINS - Multi-Active Night Cream for Normal to Combination Skin Types Price: $58 Targets fine lines Revitalizes, nourishes, and tones Hydrates and smoothes Contains Clarins’ Anti-Pollution Complex Clarins is always the most trusted brand because it is sensitive skin-friendly. This muti-active night cream is mild actually, but not that functional as it claims. It’s not that moisturizing and hydrating as I thought. If you are dehydrated skin, it will not provide enough hydration. For fine lines and wrinkles, I haven’t seen significant changes. Teasel is a key ingredient of this night cream which aims at fine lines and wrinkles. I know it is impossible to remove all these annoying wrinkles. But I still need time to test it. For now, I will choose Chanel hydra beauty crème. I will give it an extra mark because of its luxurious scent.

This is the new FARMACY - Daily Greens Oil-Free Gel Moisturizer with Moringa and Papaya !! It’s been really good so far for my oily skin spurts and it’s gonna be even better for the summer. I have combo skin right now, as well as acne prone. My undereyes, nose, and chin get super dry, while my cheeks and forehead are normal (not dry or oily.) I get breakouts around my mouth (hormonal and dairy hahah) and on my T zone mostly. Claims: — lightweight lasting hydration — clear pores — reduce shine Key ingredients: — moringa seed extract — moringa water — papaya extract — four types of hyaluronic acid for hydration — polyglutamic acid — This is oil-free and silicone-free — vegan, cruelty-free, gluten-free My thoughts: — this is thicker than most gel moisturizers I’ve tried, but not as thick as a cream. Kind of a good middle ground. It leaves my skin kind of matte, not shiny at all, which is especially great for hot and humid weather. — smells kind of like their green clean, earthy, natural, pretty good actually! I don’t know if it has artificial fragrance, but they tend to use fragrance in their products, so I wouldn’t be surprised. — doesn’t clog my pores or take too long to sink in, my skin drinks it up fast and I can move on with my routine! It makes my skin pretty smooth and refines my pores so theyre not as highly noticeable. — not irritating, no redness or anything! The papaya extract is kind of exfoliating, but it’s so gentle that i don’t even notice. I didn’t think I would like any kind of exfoliant in my moisturizer, but this one has surprised me. — $38, but I would def repurchase, as this was gifted to me by the brand.

All time fave moisturizer
Can Philosophy ever make anything bad? I’ve used this philosophy - Purity Made Simple Ultra-Light Moisturizer since it came out a couple of years ago and I’ve never looked back since. Of course I like trying other moisturizers every once in a while, but I always know that this one will be there when I go back to it! It does have a strong scent and smells almost exactly like the Purity facial cleanser, but it’s not anything that I can’t tolerate. I have normal/combination skin and I don’t find that this moisturizer makes me extra oily or anything like that, it sinks into my skin and feels just right. I also am on acne medication, a pill and a topical solution, and this works just fine along with those. I don’t have any acne flare ups caused by this product. Overall, I know I’ll always stay loving this moisturizer, until Philosophy comes out with the next best thing!

Skin type: combination, acne prone. The product: lightweight moisturizer, fast absorbing formula that gives fast hydration. Good for combo to oily skin. Ingredients: queen of the night cactus and aloe vera. Texture: gel/lightweight cream. Experience: I used this as a primer before makeup and gives a nice glow. I usually do not use moisturizer, only when I feel my skin dry or when I makeup, I liked it because it is very light and absorbs quickly. 👍🏻👎🏻: like. Price: $38 boscia - Cactus Water Moisturizer

Empty - LANEIGE : Water Bank Moisture Cream
Claims: A rich cream powered by antioxidants + concentrated green mineral water. 💦 *other ingredients to highlight: - Brussel sprouts - artichoke - Lima bean First off, I purchased this moisturizer back in December and just finished it this past week - longevity 10/10. I used this am + pm with and without adding serums and it quickly became a staple. For my combo/acne prone skin it provided just the right amount of hydration and never felt greasy. Quickly hydrated dry/scabbed areas without clogging pores *a blessing*. I will say it does take a good 5-8 minutes for this product to fully soak into the skin - if you prefer something more fast absorbing go for the gel version of this cream. It does have a scent which I luckily did not react adversely to, however if you are most sensitive to fragrance I would suggest perhaps not using this product. I’ve seen quite a few reviews where people hate on the scent of this cream and find it overbearing, I personally find it just fine/subtle. Would I repurchase? Yes. At $50CAD it is on the more expensive side of things but simply for how long it lasted I think it is worth every penny. ⚖️ If you’ve tried this cream as well please let me know your thoughts!!!! 🥰
LANEIGE-Water Bank Moisture Cream
great for oily skin... bad for my skin. 💁🏽♀️
Laneige Fresh Calming Mousse Moisturizer •this product is marketed as a mousse moisturizer that is suitable for all skin types (not sensitive skin though). •it targets oiliness and redness and provides hydration that’s suitable in combination with makeup. (i disagree) •this moisturizer is a mousse texture that melts into the skin as a gel-like consistency. HONESTY: I had high hopes for this product and was so excited to try it... But I definitely didn’t have a great experience with this one. I was gifted this product and made sure to try it for a couple weeks before posting any reviews. This product is definitely not suitable for any skin type other than oily skin. I have dryer skin and this wrecked my skin for a few days. I had dry, flaky patches all over my face for a week... I think this product would be perfect for someone with oily skin that’s looking for a moisturizer, but for anyone else... I definitely do not recommend this one. I love the packaging and the fact that it’s a mousse, but other than that, i’m struggling to find a positive... This isn’t even cruelty-free 😖 This moisturizer is $29... which I also find to be over priced for a moisturizer like this, being that it’s like half air... RATING: ⭐️⭐️ Yeah... this one’s getting 2 out of 5 stars... and that’s me being generous. I really do think this would be a great product for someone with oily skin though, so at least there’s that.LANEIGE - Fresh Calming Mousse Moisturizer

Redness Away - Alba Even Advanced (not listed)
If you can get your hands on a jar of this stuff, you lucked out! I love-love-loved this moisturizer because it made my oily and acne prone skin nice and calm. It does an excellent job of reducing redness and skin irritation. Theres a sight green tint to the cream that also hides red skin. I used this moisturizer day and night, about a fingertips worth. It spreads out well and is pretty lightweight on the skin. I am an oily girl, but this didnt increase production at all. There is no spf in it though. I got this are marshalls for less than $5 and would absolutely purchase again. It lasted 4 months with double daily use and my skin loved it
