Worked, but...😕

This product does exactly what it says it’s supposed to. It cleanses pure and simple. To me, even with my oily skin, I feel it can be a little too stripping. My skin, while feeling clean, also feels tight and in desperate need of moisturizer when I’m finished with this product. It worked well with both my facial brush cleansing device and my silicone facial cleansing device. So no complaints there. So while I do somewhat like this product for me just wasn’t the full package and it’s not my favorite go-to cleanser.

Review my routine (dry/sensitive skin)
Morning cleanser: I normally wash my face with warm water in the morning because my skin is so dry. But LA has been getting pretty hot lately so I started using Glossier. - Milky Jelly Cleanser in the morning. It smells pretty nice and gets the job done. It's very gentle as well. mousturizer: I wrote about CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin a while back and it's still one of my favorites! The packaging is not ideal but I love its whipped cream texture. It's very light but also moisturizing. I've been in love with this cream! 🥰 sunscreen: I recently discovered elta md SKINCARE - UV Clear Broad Spectrum SPF 46 I prefer physical sunscreen because it's less stimulating and safer for sensitive skin. This sunscreen meets all of my requirements- it's light, moisturizing, safe for sensitive skin, and doesn't give this icky oily feel. Night cleanser: I have been a big fan of boscia - Purifying Cleansing Gel it's amino acid-based and smells AMAZING! I normally avoid fragrance in skincare products but since face wash only stays on your skin for a few seconds it should be fine :) I've been using this cleanser for years. 😍 toner: I got COSRX - BHA Blackhead Power Liquid as a sample after I ran out of my last bottle of PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA (Salicylic Acid) Liquid Exfoliator I'd like to apply it in my t-zone to minimize pores. I'm not very familiar with COSRX. But the fact that their label doesn't explicitly say BHA% kind of bothers me. serum: right now I'm rotating between 3 products 1. The Ordinary - ''Buffet'' 2. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% 3. SkinMedica - LYTERA 2.0 Pigment Correcting Serum(the product I'm using has been discontinued and this is the upgraded version) Out of the three, my favorite is skinmedica. I know it's pricey, but after several weeks my dark spots actually started fading and no other beauty products have done that for me. If you know a good dupe for this, please let me know! I'm also looking for a good summer face mask - what do you recommend?

I Love All Three Of Them💘But If I Must Choose One..
First, my conclusion: I love using all three products. Personal preference: POLA = Boscia > Clé de Peau Beauté I have combination-dry and sensitive skin. Boscia has the best value for money, so if you have a limited budget, I strongly recommend this brand. boscia - Purifying Cleansing Gel Boscia is a North American skincare line of FANCL, so its skincare products have more Japanese brand features. It's preservative-free, fragrance-free and sensitive skin friendly. It has a transparent gel-like texture, is a runny consistency and can be mixed with water to create a delicate lather. It leaves my skin feeling refreshed without being dry and it's also a little moisturizing, so it's suitable for dry skin regardless of the season. POLA B.A Cleansing Cream It has the thickest and heaviest creamy texture among these three products. It creates an ultra-rich foam when rubbed and leaves my skin feeling very clean without being dry. It's said this product has anti-wrinkle, anti-aging, and antioxidant effects. It'd be perfect if it wasn't so expensive. clé de peau BEAUTÉ - Softening Cleansing Foam It has a creamy texture with no fluidity, and it foams up and cleanses well. Although it's a moisturizing cleanser, it still leaves me with dry skin in fall and winter, so it's more suitable for oily skin. What is your fav cleanser? Have you used any of these? Comment here!💗💗

I have been testing out 𝘋𝘳. 𝘋𝘦𝘯𝘯𝘪𝘴 𝘎𝘳𝘰𝘴𝘴 𝘏𝘺𝘢𝘭𝘶𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘤 𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘔𝘦𝘭𝘵𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘊𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘦𝘳 from few weeks now. So what is this product basically and what does it do? This is an oil-free, nourishing cleanser that completely dissolves waterproof makeup, dirt, and oil without stripping the moisture barrier. Hypoallergenic and safe for sensitive skin. Loaded with hyaluronic acid, sea grapes, kiwi, and aloe, this hydrating, lightweight formula melts away the day’s impurities and stubborn, waterproof eye makeup while preventing moisture loss. My Experience with it: I use it as my first cleanse cleanser. It has been great at removing makeup and spf without stripping my skin off natural oils. Sometimes with nourishing cleansers my skin doesn’t feel clean but that’s not the case with this one, it removes all the makeup & dirt. It hasn’t broken me out. You don’t need rinse after this cleanser, just wipe it away. It has a jelly/pudding type texture and a sweet faint scent to it. The thing I love the most about it is the packaging, it’s so convenient. I love the tube packaging over jars any day! Dr Dennis Gross - Hyaluronic Marin Meltaway Cleanser

Cult fave empty: Farmacy Green Clean Balm 🌱
Cult fave empty: Farmacy Green Clean Balm 🌱
This cult favorite is a recent empty—and it’s a cult favorite for a reason! I originally bought a small sample size after hearing skincare Youtubers like Liah Yoo and James Welsh rave about it, and liked it so much that I bought a full size for myself and one as a gift for my mom. FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm Texture: the texture of this product is like a lightweight sherbert. It’s not waxy or stiff like other cleansing balms I’ve tried. It melts down into a slippery oil once you warm it up in your palms. Scent: this does not have synthetic fragrance, but it does have a scent. To me, it smells floral and fresh, but isn’t too overpowering. The smell doesn’t linger once you wash the balm off. Application: the full size comes in a jar with a screw-on lid and a little plastic spatula. The spatula fits inside the jar. I used this nightly as my first cleanse (in a double cleanse) on the days when I wore sunscreen (which is almost everyday except on days where my skin was really irritated from going too ham with trying new products 😆). I would take about a nickel-sized amount, warm it up in my palms so that it melted down, and would massage it into my dry face. I would then use a little bit of water on my palms to emulsify the cleanser, then would finish with rinsing it off. I also used this product for LABeautyologist’s oil cleansing method about once a week—this method involves using cleansing balm or cleansing oil to extract oil plugs from your skin. Results: I really enjoyed this product! 💚 I have sensitive, combo, acne prone skin and never experienced any breakouts or irritation from this product. It worked well in removing oil plugs too, and I didn’t feel like it left a film of oil on my face. My mom has oily, mature skin and enjoys this product as well. The only reason I am not repurchasing it is because I am curious to try a oil cleanser instead of a balm next. But I am a fan of this product and would recommend!

Double cleansing for oily & acne-prone skin
Double cleansing for oily & acne-prone skin
✨Affordable and effective double cleansing routine for oily and acne-prone skin✨ Let’s talk double cleansing today. Throughout the day, your skin accumulates dirt, debris, and impurities from your environment. For those with oily and combination skin, we naturally secrete high amounts of sebum, an oily and waxy substance that’s produced by our body’s sebaceous gland, throughout the day that coats our skin in an oily film which can clog our pores and lead to acne. This leads me to why it’s important to double cleanse at the end of the day. Double cleansing is a two step process that utilizes an oil and water based cleanser to effectively remove all forms of impurities. It’s especially important if you wear makeup and sunscreen because if left on the skin, it can be a breeding ground for acne causing bacteria. ▶️ THE inkey LIST - Oat Cleansing Balm - a cleansing balm that utilizes 3% oat kernel oil and 1% colloidal oatmeal to provide a soothing cleanse that will remove all makeup and excess oil without disrupting the skin’s moisture barrier. You can apply this on dry or wet skin. I prefer dry. Take your time to melt and massage this thoroughly into the skin. It does leave a film post cleanse but that disappears once you go in with your 2nd step cleanser. This is so affordable at only 10$ for 5oz. ▶️ THE inkey LIST - Salicylic Acid Acne + Pore Cleanser - a water based gel cleanser that’s formulated with 2% salicylic acid and zinc compound to gently exfoliate and unclog pores. Great acid cleanser that can be used daily without leaving your skin dry and stripped. It’s my go to cleanser to help reduce the amount of breakouts I get. This is great for the body as well if you get breakouts there. Another affordable option at only 10$ for 5oz. Not everyone may need to double cleanse but it’s an essential part of my routine in order to ensure that I start my routine off with a clean slate. This also allows the active ingredients in my products to absorb and work better. Plus it feels so relaxing and therapeutic which is why I always look forward to it at the end of the day even when I’m dead tired. Do you double cleanse? What are your go to products for it?

A perfect second cleanse
A perfect second cleanse
I was gifted this in PR. As someone with oily, dehydrated acne prone/sensitive skin, I love cleansers that don’t strip my skin, feel great and provide a thorough cleanse with added benefits. This cleanser is claimed to be a total all in one, meant to remove makeup and cleanse the skin. Personally, I didn’t enjoy using it to fully break down my SPF and makeup. I much prefer balm or oil cleansers for that job, purely because oil attracts oil and it nourishes my skin better before a second cleanse while also completely removing all the grime off my face. However, as a second cleanse, it’s amazing. I fully enjoy it for this. It’s creamy and does not strip my skin, but because of the surfactants, I admit it can be a little dry than I am used to. I wish it were more hydrating, but I can see most people loving this, especially if you don’t have dehydrated skin. I should mention it’s also fragranced, which I love. This didn’t irritate my skin. The antioxidants and unique packaging are an added bonus and definitely makes the price worth it.

FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm Taking the day off with this cleansing balm I returned the drunk elephant balm because it removed nothing and simply felt like it clogged my pores so I exchanged for this item I am so happy this was my first time using it since I wanted to make sure I had a full face of makeup And it took off everything or should I say MELTED everything 🤭👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽

Disclaimer! I have combination- more oily, acne prone and sensitive skin, what works for me may not work for you! I’m not joking when I say that Liah Yoo may have come with a bit of gold with their Krave - Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser I used to have trouble trying to find a cleanser that is able to do the job but not be too stripping on my skin, but a lot of cleanser either don’t get enough of the first and grime off OR it’s just too harsh that my skin feels so tight. When I watched Hyram, James Welsh and Beauty Within rave so much about this cleanser it made me really want to try it, but also made me have very high expectations... And I’m glad it actually pulled through! This is such an effective gentle and yet hydrating cleanser! The texture is a gel like consistency and has a slight “matcha” smell (but you can get past it). It doesn’t strip the skin and has honestly become my absolute favourite cleansers. If I could give her 6 stars I would 🌟 Krave - Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser
