Updated night time routine
Hi all! As we head into winter in the east coast I thought it would be the perfect time to try serious exposure to retinol. I am brand Loyal to olay and if you have seen my last few posts - I have tried their retinol eye cream for months and have experienced some better results. For starters - what I LOVE about all these products is that they’re fragrance free - albeit fragrance doesn’t really bother me - I know some followershave more sensitive skin than me !So after I cleanse and tone (up to you) - I apply the OLAY - Regenerist Retinol24 Night Facial Serum
Skin brightening serums
Eye creams for sensitive skin
Dry skin eye creams & gels

Only 3 months left on Roaccutane
Dermatologist appointment went well on Tuesday. She dropped me down to 10mg a day and said May will be my last month on Roaccutane! She said because my skin is so clear I could stop now, but I’d rather stick to the 12 month plan my GP suggested. I’ve been lucky not to get crazy side effects, and while there is still a chance of acne coming back I trust my derm’s plans for after stopping the medication. I’ll be getting prescribed a tretinoin moisturiser, and by November/December we will start laser treatment to help smooth out the deep scarring and hyperpigmentation. Also can’t wait to continue my tattoo journey once my skin is back to normal, I think that’s been the only truly hard part of this journey 😂 Simple - Hydrating Cleansing Oil Simple - Kind to Skin Moisturizing Facial Wash CeraVe - CeraVe Moisturising Cream OLAY - Regenerist Retinol 24 Max Fragrance-Free Night Hydrating Moisturizer
recent target finds!😍
OLAY - Regenerist Retinol 24 Max Fragrance-Free Night Hydrating Moisturizer OLAY - Complete Lotion All Day Moisturizer with Sunscreen SPF 15 for Sensitive Skin ⚡️my skin type: sensitive eczema and acne prone ⚡️what the product does: retinol increases production of collagen & promotes more “plump” skin. zinc oxide spf protects ⚡️what makes it worth it: gentle retinol formulation. ⚡️ingredient highlights: retinol & zinc oxide spf ⚡️what the experience is like: the max retinol product (used at night) melts into the skin & feels like velvet. the spf (used in day) gives the skin a glow. ⚡️in full transparency: professionals do reccomend a higher spf especially when you use sensitizing products like retinol, but this one is enough for me as im indoor most of the time and avoid sun exposure as much as i can (even from a window) something about this spf just gives me an amazing glow (i think its the zinc oxide) and it will forever be a staple of mine. have only tried the retinol for a week will update soon but so far so good!
Guess what? Retinol again!
I’m so proud of myself restarted retinol again today with a more planned process. Today is my first dose with OLAY - Regenerist Retinol24 Night Facial Serum I have to say I really enjoyed the texture. It went on smoothly and made me feel so good. I keep telling myself I will go slow this time. Hope it will work out! Wish me luck 🤪🤪
My current AM & PM routine
I’ve been suffering with pimples and dark spots and once I found Olay O.M.G they did such an amazing job!! PM ROUTINE: Retinoid helps to get rid of my pimples & my fine lines without tradeoffs or drying the skin. I feel my skin so soft & dehydrated when I get up in the morning. AM ROUTINE: Tone perfecting treatment & cream help to get rid of my dark spots. I seriously can see my skin got brighter after a few uses. I have tried every cream under the sun from reasonable to expensive and I am in love with these products! I hope they will keep doing the good job as I already stocked them up! 😆
✨I'm testing some goodies this weekend into the next week — ✨my routines have been cut in half with the Venn Skincare age reversing all-in-one concentrate. It's exceptionally soothning and hydrating. The peptides and antioxidants have been helping re-even out my damage complexion thanks to my last break out. With this I've taken out essences and serums in the morning🌤 but I still apply them at night and apply this as an extra boost🌟 ✨ Tamburins water essence was the one of the few purchases I made in Seoul. I had been waiting patientily to bring it our once some of my other essence were finished. It was worth the wait🤩 its water light solution goes on clear and spreads so easy. It like putting on💧and moving on. It has no scent and is extra refined so it dries in second. I'm still playing with it so I will more on it later in a review but so far it worth grabbing especially they don't ship to the states🌟 ✨ Kate Somerville RetAsphere 2-in-1 retinol night cream was a impluse buy but I also needed a new night cream so it worth the price. So far its been a godsend with the retinol without harming my winter sensitive skin. It also plays well with my eastern products which was my intial fear. I can add a light gel based cream at night after I place this on to deal with any fine lines trying to come in. I'm looking forward to how well it will help me retain moisture during the day🌟

The justification of Estee Lauder’s price tag
Estee Lauder Perfectionist Pro Rapid Firm + Lift Treatment Estee Lauder has decades worth of beauty expertise. I remember seeing my mom applying some products and using their lipsticks when I was young. Hence, the EL name and brand resonates to me a lot. It was just a couple of years ago that I decided to splurge and treat myself to their products as they don’t come cheap. I had to convince myself that I’m investing on my skin. So I purchased their Advanced Night Repair Serum as it’s their hero product (according to a lot of beauty editors and magazines), and a couple more other products. With my purchase, I was gifted travel sized skincare products, and the Perfectionist Pro Rapid Firm is one of them. I’m thankful that at my age, I don’t have any wrinkles yet, but prevention is always better than cure so it’s better to start having an anti-aging or anti-gravity skincare regimen to minimize the early signs of aging. With daily use of this gold potion in a bottle, I notice that my face becomes brighter, and my complexion seems to look more alive. I also see that it helps my toner tone my face. I need to buy the regular size of this product, definitely. Estee Lauder DayWear Multi-Protection Anti-Oxidant 24H Moisture Creme Another Estee Lauder product that’s on the top of my list is this antioxidant 24 hour moisture creme. My face is dry combination and sensitive at the same time, so I need hydrating products that will nourish my skin and make it feel like new. I like to apply this at night cause it’s pretty heavy, but not in a way where it will make you look like you’re about to fry an egg on your face. Since it’s a rich face cream, it’s perfect for those who have skin types like me. I notice that my face looks so plumped in the morning when I wake up. It feels smooth and soft. There are days when I wake up and my face look pretty oily after using it at night but it never made me breakout so it’s all good. I love this and definitely recommend it to others.
ALGENIST - GENIUS Liquid Collagen ⭐️ If you love your collagen fix like me, this is great to add to your nightly routine. ⭐️ It is pricey, but once in a while you can get it in a set and it’s totally worth it. I also love the moisturizer so it works for me 😊 ⭐️ The liquid collagen glides in to your skin and is pretty great to mix together with a moisturizer. I would not recommend day use because it can make your skin oily. ⭐️ At the moment I’m using Kate Somerville - Goat Milk Moisturizing Cream to mix in in with because it’s very thin and helps the collagen absorb quickly. It does not feel thick like most night collagens. ⭐️ ALGENIST - GENIUS Sleeping Collagen is amazing but in the summer it’s too thick so the liquid is where it’s at for me right now!! 😉

Skincare Routine That Will Give You Glowing Skin...
You can try out this set of skin care products if you're looking to correct your skin tone, lighten skin dullness, complexion and blemishes. The result after using the whole set is very obvious and my skin is getting more and more of a translucent glow. I have combination-oily skin and this set doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy and gets absorbed by the skin easily. My skin care routine in the morning: Ultra Facial Toner - Dark Spot Solution - Creamy Eye Treatment - Line-Reducing Concentrate - Re-Texturizing Serum Concentrate - Ultra Facial Cream! I'll substitute the Dark Spot Solution with the Midnight Recovery Concentrate at night. Kiehl's - Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution is Kiehl's signature product. It's a transparent serum which offers significant results in brightening skin complexion and moisturizing. Kiehl's - Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Eye-Brightening Concentrate is a white milky liquid that gets absorbed easily and doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy. It mainly minimizes the appearance of pores, repairs and tightens my skin. Kiehl's - Hydro Plumping Re-Texturizing Serum Concentrate is a gel-like serum that's very hydrating. After it's massaged onto the face and absorbed by the skin, it really leaves your skin feeling great. Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Cream is a super popular moisturizing facial cream which is really moisturizing and doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy. It's suitable for fall and winter, and I've been repurchasing it again and again.

Vitamin A/Retinol is used to treat acne and reduce signs of ageing, reverse sun damage, fine lines and pigmentation. It also helps promote a firmer look and a smoother appearance. It comes in several different forms. There’s retinol, tretinoin, and retinoic acid – then there’s the next generation molecules such as retinaldehyde (retinal) and retinyl retinoate. Medik8 have just released two lower strength retinaldehyde products, the Crystal Retinal 1, and Crystal Retinal 3 so as to make it easier to build up strength slowly over time. . Crystal Retinal 3 is formulated with 0.03% Encapsulated Retinaldehyde, which is the next generation of Vitamin A that works up to 11 times faster than retinol. This particular product also contains Hyaluronic Acid which has a unique ability to attract and retain more than 1,000 times its own weight in water, hyaluronic acid draws moisture from the surrounding atmosphere into the skin, leaving the complexion feeling both nourished and supple. . My skin is quite accustomed to a higher strength retinol so I used this on days when my skin needed a rest but at the same time I wanted to have the benefits of retinol on a lower level. It has a beautiful delicate floral scent that I love, and leaves my skin feel amazing! There was no peeling or dryness and I think this is the perfect retinol for anyone starting out, or for anyone like me who wants to power through, some days with a high strength retinol and some days lower when my skin needs a break. I highly highly recommend this.

I've had good experiences with Huxley (love the cleansing water and gel cleanser) so I had high hopes for these. Unfortunately they didn't quite live up to my unrealistically high expectations. I did like the Brightly Ever After essence. It did a good job moisturizing and I like to use it on top of my thinner watery serums as it is a little more emollient. I didn't find it to really brighten but since I exfoliate quite aggressively with AHA, it was hard to tell. I like the lush floral scent. So overall, I enjoyed this serum and I'll probably use it regularly in the winter as it has some nourishing oils in it. The Glow Awakening cream, was sadly a bit disappointing. It is a very thick opaque cream that just felt kind of sticky. It left a layer on my face that almost felt like a traditional sunscreen, but in the morning I didn't feel like my skin was significantly softer or more moisturized. I just didn't love the texture of this cream and found myself reaching for something else consistently. Also, the lid cracked and pretty much disintegrated (and no I didn't drop it) which was really kind of a bummer. I would not repurchase this again.
