I saw this everywhere, so of course I had to try
This is an interesting product. It is a primer, moisturizer and a makeup remover. The cream is very creamy and light. It’s perfect for really dry and dehydrated skin which is why it’s so popular to use as a primer. It has very few ingredients and does have parfum. This however has not irritated or had a bad reaction with my skin. It is very nourishing with fatty acids and shea butter. It is a cult classic for makeup artists before applying makeup. Embryolisse - Lait Crème Concentré I would give this a 4/5. I think it’s a really nourishing and hydrating primer but the fragrance is a no for me. I still don’t know why companies are putting artificial fragrance in their products. I do use this before applying makeup though because it creates a hydrated and smooth canvas. It doesn’t really hide pores or reduce redness. I think this is used to create a more natural look with makeup with a dewy glow which is very French. Have you tried this?
First Impressions ✨
These are some new products that I got a couple days ago so here are my first impressions! ✨☺️ ✨Isntree - Green Tea Fresh Toner I’ve been wanting to try Isntree for a long time now since their products look great! I also really wanted to try more products with green tea in it since it’s a great antioxidant that helps control acne and soothe skin. I’ve seen a lot of people say this product helps reduce redness, calm skin and control oil production so I’m excited to see if I notice a difference in my skin with this! This texture is really lightweight so I like wearing a hydrating serum or thicker toner on top of it, since my skin has been dryer. I also haven’t noticed any irritation with this product so far! ✨Embryolisse, Lait-Creme Concentre I also heard so many good things about this cream, especially that it works great as a makeup primer! It has a milky texture but my skin felt really moisturized and glowy after using it. I think this is such a great fall moisturizer since it’s moisturizing but not too thick. I haven’t tried it under my makeup yet but I will have to try that soon. Have you tried any of these products? Did you like them?
My Fav Sunscreen: Avène & La Roche-Posay
First of all, my skin type is combo/dry, so here are the sunscreens that i love to use daily. Avène Hydrance Optimale Hydrating CreamAvène - Hydrance Optimale SPF 25 Hydrating Cream There are four versions for the Avène's Hydrance series: Regular light, regular rich, UV light and UV rich. I have used all four of them before. I don't like the regular versions so I stopped using them after a while. But the UV versions are amazing! Although we know that daily use of sunscreen is important, we don't need a sunscreen with high SPF levels for our daily activities since a higher SPF is actually more of a burden to our skin. This product with an SPF of only 20 meets our needs perfectly! It combines moisturizing cream and sunscreen together very well. I'll use the rich version in winter and the light version for all the other seasons. It feels great on my face! There's no greasiness or dryness that comes with ordinary sunscreens. la roche posay anthelios xl shaka fluid I use this when I need high-level UV protection. It feels good on my face as it's absorbed quickly, isn't greasy, doesn't make my skin dry nor does it ball up.

Hello beautiful people! I’m new here at Cherie, and i thought for my first post, I’ll share my morning skincare routine with you guys 😉 I have an oily-combination skin. Certain spots get flaky, especially when the weather out is harsh. I find that constant-changing weather/temperature is SO bad for me, and these products have helped me get through them! cocokind - Rosewater Facial Toner • i have searched SO long for a good facial toner for me. i wanted to have a toner that won’t leave my face feeling stretched and dehydrated, and this is definitely the opposite! its only ingredient is rosewater, no additives, just pure rosewater. rosewater helps maintain the skin’s pH balance, so those dry spots around my face basically became nonexistent, they all calmed down! whenever i spray this product on my face, i just feel my skin thanking me, it’s like a cool tall glass of water. VICHY - Aqualia Thermal Water Gel Face Moisturizer with Hyaluronic Acid • this one’s for my oily/comb girls! i tend to lean towards more the gel-creme/water based types of moisturizer because them cream based ones makes me HELLA oily. if i’m being honest, this is not my first choice for a gel-creme moisturizer. i got this as a gift, so i decided to try it, but honestly? I’m not mad at it! it does the job for me, it leaves my face feeling cool and hydrated throughout the day 🥰 LA ROCHE-POSAY - Anthelios Ultra Fluid Face Lotion SPF 50+ • this is the newest addition to my routine. SPF breaks me out so bad. I’ve been feeling guilty about not having sunscreen in my routine, so i decided to purchase this! it’s fluid, and it does not leave a white cast on my face as i do have a more tanned skin (that filipina complexion is STRONG). I have been using it for 2 days, and so far, no pimples yet! so we’ll see 😁 Avène - Thermal Spring Water Spray • this product is not really a necessity but i just love how it instantly refreshes my skin! During harsh summer days, one quick mist of this and i feel fresher than a tall glass of lemonade! it emulsifies the products on my face as well, so it can easily penetrate my skin barriers. it only has two ingredients: water and nitrogen. bonus tip: i also use this as my setting spray! and that’s it! after i apply these products, i know that i’m ready go on about my day! if you guys have noticed, i didn’t put any cleansers and serums. I sometimes just wash my face with water in the morning because i don’t want to get rid of all the good moisture on my face that i had during the night. for me it gives me a little ~*oOmPf*~. and as for serums, i have just purchased some The Ordinary products and it hasn’t arrived yet, so we’ll wait and see! Hope i helped some yall!

Simple AM Routine for Dry Sensitive Skin ☀️ 🌵
This is my boyfriend’s simple AM skincare routine (created by me! 😁). Before we met 3 years ago, he never moisturized or used sunscreen, and washed his face with body wash. 😱 As you can imagine, his skin used to be hella dry and dehydrated, and his skin barrier was damaged. He has very dry, sensitive skin, isn’t acne-prone, and likes simple and quick routines so that he doesn’t have to spend too much time getting ready. ☀️AM Routine 1. Water rinse face - both he and I skip morning cleansing as to not overly strip the skin of its natural oils. 2. ETUDE - Soon Jung, 2x Barrier Intensive Cream This cream has been a lifesaver for his skin! It has ingredients like Madecassoside to repair the skin barrier. On my combo skin, this cream sits a little too occlusive and shiny, but his skin drinks it up without it being too heavy. Many other simple moisturizers such as the Cerave Moisturizing Cream sting his skin, but this moisturizer does not. 3. PURITO - Centella Green Level Unscented Sun SPF50+ This sunscreen is a bit too moisturizing for me, but works well with his dry skin. It has a shiny finish on me, but absorbs more dewy on his skin and doesn’t feel heavy or sticky. His PM routine is also posted on my page!

Sunscreen that you’ll fall in love with
I am always looking for a good sunscreen that protects my skin. When it comes to products, I don’t have the most sensitive skin but when it comes to the sun it just destroys my skin. ☀️ I can’t go outside for a long period of time with out a hat and sunscreen because my skin breaks out in rashes. For the longest time I couldn’t figure out what caused it till I started wearing hats everywhere. So of course I then went on a hunt for a sunscreen that could help protect me as well. Literally more then a hour in the sun with no protection and I’ll have a rash on my nose, chin and forehead. ☀️ One of the most important attributes I was looking for was a sunscreen that was more fluid so I wouldn’t be white cast and makeup could blend in smoothly and I needed it to be hydrating. I mostly found my favorite sunscreens being fluid but not very high in SPF I was using one by botanics that was mattifying and super hydrating but only SPF 15 (I did love this one it felt so nice on my skin but just wasn’t enough protection for me.) ☀️ On my journey to higher SPF beet shield by krave has been posted and hyped here on Cherie more then I can count so I thought I’d give it a try. And let me tell you! I’m so glad a did it’s SPF 50! This stuff glides on and my skin drinks it right up! It the last thing you should put on so of course I’ve put on my serums, eye cream, and main moisturizer before putting this on and it still sinks right in. ☀️ I’ve used it for three weeks now I my pores aren’t clogged and I haven’t gotten any rashes and I go walking once a day and live in Florida so that sun really beats down on us. ☀️ INGREDIENT HIGHLIGHTS (from website) ✨beetroot extract - has skin enhancing properties like preventing signs of aging, reducing pigmentation and blemishes and moisturization! ✨allantoin - soothes skin and relieves skin irritation. This is an absolutely wonderful ingredient which brings both moisturizing and soothing relief to a sensitive, inflamed skin. ✨Vitamin C, Resveratrol, EGCG - This powerful tag team of antioxidants is proven to shield skin against external stressors and neutralize free radicals. I truly feel like it does all of this it’s a shame they can’t advertise as an SPF since what they use isn’t FDA regulated as a sunscreen in the states. But 100% recommended
Krave-The Beet Shield
Secret Sunscreen for Acne Prone Skin
The Krave the Beet Shield is not marketed as a sunscreen since the sunscreen ingredients aren’t approved by the FDA but are approved in South Korea. The formula is the same as the Krave Beet the Heat SPF 47 sold in Korea though. I was a little apprehensive to try because of the labeling issue BUT I’m happy I did because the formula doesn’t break me out and isn’t greasy! It is a thin lotion and applies with no white caste and a natural finish. It is not matte, but it could definitely be worn under makeup. There isn’t any fragrance or at least none that I can detect. I have used it running, by the pool, and at the beach and haven’t been burned where I used it. I do have a medium to medium deep skin tone so I can’t say how it works in fairer skin than mine. Compared to the Coola sun drops, this is a little thicker and doesn’t leave your face as shiny as the Coola. It is less expensive too so I will be repurchasing. Just wish they had a bigger bottle! Krave - The Beet Shield
Krave-The Beet Shield
The Beet Shield SPF — Krave Beauty
Function: An SPF 50+ sunscreen packed with antioxidants meant to improve the health of your skin while protecting it from the sun. It works for all skin types and is to be used every day as the last step to your routine in the morning! Texture: It comes out pretty thick, but rubs in and absorbs quickly/easily! Really does feel like a “fluid” after a second of working it into your skin. Experience: I’ve had this sunscreen for a few months now and even though I switch different sunscreens into my routine every now and then, I always find myself going back to this one! I bought it because I had wanted to try Krave for a long time after seeing it so hyped up on Insta. I really do love this sunscreen. It leaves my skin with the perfect dewy, glowy finish. It sits well on my skin and I can’t even feel it after it soaks in. There is no white cast. There is alcohol in it (5th ingredient) which is probably what helps it dry down so fast. I don’t notice it drying out my skin at all, as there are ingredients included to counteract the drying effect that alcohol can have. I recommend this sunscreen to everyone! It is so so so important to protect your skin and this one does an amazing job. It’s pretty affordable at $20 for about 1.6 ounces of product — there are cheaper sunscreens, but the ones that I’ve tried haven’t come close to The Beet Shield!
