Fenty Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blush
FENTY BEAUTY - Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blush I got this in the shade Drama Cla$$ because a blush described as soft violet is definitely intriguing. This formula is creamy at first but quickly turns into a powder finish. The color can definitely be intense, but if you can sheer it out it’s a beautiful color. It also has a little bit of shimmer in it, but it’s so incredibly subtle that I don’t mind at all, and I’m really not a shimmer person. I think the wear is pretty long but it’s hard to tell with the masks. This is definitely a nice blush and it’s a really cool color to have in my collection!

Milk makeup, is it worth it?
Over the past couple years I’ve really wanted to try out milk makeup and I thought the brands aesthetic was so pretty/ minimal. It’s perfect for a quick on the go person or someone who wants to look glam.
Hydro grip primer, this is really good. It has become of my fave ones to use. It provides a great base for my foundation or even for my bb cream. It’s feel kinda like gel but not thick. Spreads easily and has a slight tackiness, also leaves my skin moisturized. The only downside is the smell, it’s kinda like a plastic/agave scent mixed together. The scent does fade which is great so it doesn’t linger around. $30 for 1.52 oz and $15 for 0.33 oz
Milk MAKEUP - Hydro Grip Primer
Kush mascara, this one is in my top 5 fave ones to use. The bristles coat my lashes nicely and make them appear thicker. Doesn’t have a strong scent. When I apply them to my bottom lashes they don’t smudge onto my skin. $24 for 0.34 oz/10 ml and $12 for 0.13 oz/4 ml
Milk MAKEUP - KUSH High Volume Mascara
Tattoo stamp in star, it’s super cute! I’ve had this well over a year and it’s still pretty pigmented. I use this on my lids, cheeks and anywhere on my face to give me that cute vibe. It lasts all day and hasn’t smudged on me. $12 and they come in lots of designs.
Milk MAKEUP - Tattoo Stamp
Kush lip balm in plushberry, it’s a sheer berry color. Moisturizes my lips and gives them a super cute tint. I’m definitely more into sheer colors and glosses. It has a slight minty scent to it that I love. $16 for 3g
Milk MAKEUP - Kush Lip Balm
Kush clear brow gel, it sets my brows nicely but it isn’t a strong hold. It’s more of medium. Doesn’t have a distinct smell which is good. $20 which is pretty expensive.
Milk MAKEUP - KUSH Clear Brow Gel
Holographic stick in supernova, I really like this. It pretty creamy and I like applying this with my fingers. Looks super cute as an eyeshadow as well. It’s more of a duochrome. It has a purple/blueish shift. I wish it had a bit more pigment in it. Currently on sale at Sephora for $18 for the full size 1 oz/28 g. Mini size $15 for 0.25 oz/7.1 g
Milk MAKEUP - Holographic Stick
Watermelon brightening serum, this was ok. Wasn’t my favorite. It feels nice on the skin, kinda moisturizing but I didn’t see any brightening effect. $36 for 1.2 oz/ 34g and $18 for 0.22 oz/ 6.25 g. Personally not worth the money.
Milk MAKEUP - Watermelon Brightening Serum
Cooling water stick, same as the watermelon serum and this wasn’t my favorite. Yes it moisturized a little bit but I saw no difference in my skin. Too expensive to buy and not worth the money for me. If you have the money for an overpriced “serum” go ahead and get this but just save your money for something else.
Milk MAKEUP - Cooling Water
Blur stick definitely not worth it. Bunched up too much.

Skincare for vegan extraterrestrials & humans 👽
KUSH stash bag set products RANKED:
Last place:
Milk MAKEUP - Cooling Water
I just don’t really feel like this stick is doing anything? I even put it in the fridge for extra cooling powers 🥶 and still 🤷♀️
Almost last:
Milk MAKEUP - Cooling Water Eye Patches
These are just OKAY 😐 they are slightly cooling and I do enjoy going about my morning business with some eye patches on like a fancy heiress 👸🏻 BUT no visible results in my experience
Middle of the pack:
Milk MAKEUP - Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil Hydrating Face Mask
Very easy to apply, glides on real smooth and nothing says “I’m serious about skincare” like a full face of GREEN 🐸 I feared it would be drying but it does deliver on hydration 💦 skin afterwards is overall plump and moist (ugh that word)
Runner up (get the flower bouquet 💐):
Milk MAKEUP - KUSH High Volume Mascara
Volume! No clumps! LOVE ❤️ the brush and now it’s one of my regular rotation mascaras. The price for the full size is a bit steep but PRO TIP 🤫 the mini is the perfect amount of product that you will actually use it ALL before it gets all dry and gross.
WINNER (tiara time 👑):
Milk MAKEUP - Kush Lip Balm
I can’t say enough about this stuff. It’s SO SO SO hydrating. Not at all sticky or goopy, feels like it is healing your lips and lasts longer than any other lip balm I’ve tried. Even in CANADIAN 🍁 WINTER keep my lips lovely 👄

Another Marshall’s Haul
Before the snow hit in the north east, I had to hit up Marshall’s so I had some new products to play with. This shopping trip I found makeup products from Becca and Milk to try out. As with any trip to Marshall’s it’s hit or miss with products and shade ranges, so I know this foundation is a bit too light, but the undertone was right. There were also a few other things I wanted, but their packaging was open and the products were clearly touched.
So let’s dive in to what I used for this look (3rd pic, I don’t use any filters/beauty mode).
Milk MAKEUP - Blur Stick I like the powdery finish it leaves on my skin. I’ll have to use it a few more times before I decide how much I like it.
BECCA - Ultimate Coverage 24 Hour Foundation I’m generally not a fan of full coverage foundation. But this does not feel heavy or caking on my skin (yes, it’s a shade too light). I applied it pretty lightly, but you can easily build this up to you preferred coverage level.
BECCA - Limited Edition Hydra-Mist Set & Refresh Powder I was pleasantly surprised by this powder. I usually only use powder lightly under my eyes o set my concealer, but this was so light that I used it all over my face. It did not settle into my fine lines or make me look dry (aging skin). I applied with a velour puff and used a fluffy brush to remove the excess.
Milk MAKEUP - Lip + Cheek I’m a big fan of cream products and the fact that this does double duty, lips and cheeks, makes it a winner in my book.
Milk MAKEUP - Kush Waterproof Mascara I’ve been dying to try this mascara (if you’ve read any of my previous posts, you know I’m on an unending hunt for the perfect mascara). But I couldn’t justify the price tag if it was just going to end up in the “meh” pile of mascaras I already have. It gave a great first impression, but I’ll have to use it a few more times before I decide to invest in a full sized tube.
For under $40, I got to try some high end products that are usually out of my budget. I love Marshall’s for exactly this reason!
What is your favorite Marshall’s find?

Blush love is in the air 💕 Peachy/pink blushes
I have a yellowish skin tone so I tend to lean toward peachy/bronze colors. But, as you get older it helps you look a little more alive if you have a bit of pink in your cheeks. Pinky Peach or Rose Gold blushes have become my go-to! I also don’t like shimmer in my blush for daily wear, but that’s hard to find.
Listed in order of my favorite to my least favorite
1. NYX - High Definition Blush in Rose Gold This one is a great pink with a hint coral. The only negative is it’s shimmery.
2. BURT’S BEES - Blush with Vitamin E in Toasted Cinnamon
Almost no pink, almost all peach. Zero shimmer!! This is the one I wear most often for everyday/work makeup.
3. NARS - NARS Blush in Orgasm
Bright pink with a peachy/golden shimmer. I think this one gives the best face brightening effect.
4. tarte - Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Sweet
This is super old and I really should toss it but I can’t!!! It’s a nice bright pink and shows up really well on my skin even with a tan. Shimmer.
5. bareMinerals - Gen Nude Powder Blush in Call my Blush
This one is a really neutral pink with zero shimmer. Applies sheerest of the bunch but very buildable.
6. essence - Satin Touch Blush in Bespoke
Warm gold peachy color. No shimmer.
7. MILANI - MILANI Baked Blush in Luminoso
More of a true light peach shimmer. Works as a highlighter as well.
What is your favorite blush for everyday wear? Do you have a favorite rose gold or peachy-pink blush? Are you a shimmer person?

Minty eyes and dewy skin 🌿
It was cloudy day today and I wanted to experiment with greens, I wanted to do something bold and bright. I usually never reach for greens but I have a colorful eyeshadow palette and looking at the colors males me want to use them.
I ended up with a dewy minty eye look.
For primer (not pictured) I used touch in sol glassy balm primer. It hydrate my skin and makes it look dewy.
touch in SOL - Pretty Filter Glassy Skin Balm
For foundation I used the pūrlisse youth glow vitamin C CC cream spf 50 in Fair. I got this in my Ipsy bag a couple months ago and I’ve been loving it.
pūrlisse - Youth Glow Vitamin C CC Cream SPF 50
Concealer I used a cult classic, NARS radiant creamy concealer in vanilla. This is one of my favorites. It gives me a natural look.
NARS - Radiant Creamy Concealer
For brows I used my absolute favorite brow pencil and it’s the elf instant brow pencil. I’ve been using this for years and it’s the one I always come back to. Super affordable too!
e.l.f. - Instant Lift Brow Pencil
BH cosmetics take me back to Brazil palette- I love this palette. So many different colors to choose from and really pigmented.
bh - Take Me Back to Brazil 35 Color Pressed Pigment Palette
I used my essence eyeliner pen in young and free (pastel yellow). It’s a super cute color. I decided to add some dots to the outer edge of my green eyeshadow.
essence - essence Eyeliner Pen
I used milk makeup kush mascara and it’s really nice. It separates my lashes and makes them look longer too.
Milk MAKEUP - KUSH High Volume Mascara
I used Sephora collection gel lip liner in creme de la creme to line my lips a little bit.
SEPHORA COLLECTION - Rouge Gel Lip Liner
For my lips I used glossier’s vinylic lip in the shade disco. It’s like a terra cotta/orangey tint to it. It’s my first time using it and I’m already in love. It also has some shine to it so my lips won’t be dehydrated.
Glossier. - Vinylic Lip High Shine Lacquer
For blush I used glossier’s cloud paint in dawn, it’s a orangey sunny coral color. I used a little bit of this and it’s super pretty. I love it.

Skywash is Just Lovely 😇
Today I tried my second product from my recent Glossier purchase. I got Skywash, the matte, liquid eyeshadow in Pool.
The color is a very pretty light blue. It’s very subtle but helps my blue eyes pop, which I always love!
I found the product itself is easy to use. You simply swipe it on and blend with your finger for a very pretty, soft look. The reason I gave this four instead of five stars is because it felt like there was very little actual product in the tube. The brush came out pretty dry and I had to dip it in a few times to get the shadow out.
All in all it’s an easy product to use and the result is very pretty!
What are your favorite easy to use products?

glossier haul ✨
I pretty much use the lidstars and niteshine everyday! I am not completely in love with the lidstar shadows because they were hard to work with at first, but I’m slowly learning how to apply and build them up better - I do wish it was a more effortless process to get some good coverage with them tho. The niteshine highlight is GORGE and a teeny tiny bit goes a long way!
My friend highly recommended the skin perfecting tint and it is amazing! i love how light the coverage looks AND feels. So glowy & dewy 🤤 As for the lash slick, it is lengthening without being clumpy, but be warned that it will not let your lashes to hold a curl!!! I like to curl my lashes before applying mascara and this guy won’t allow it 😭

Milk Makeup highlighter in Lit
This was my first intro to cream highlighters, or highlighters in general outside a theatre purpose. You 100% get your moneys worth for this product because it will last until you die, there’s so much product. This is a champagne pearl color that you could use for any occasion. I like to rub my finger on the top and then tap it on the highlights of my face. It’s too big to apply straight from the tube. Really lovely!Milk MAKEUP - Milk MAKEUP Highlighter

Here's this morning’s routine with some first impressions on my new products:
🇫🇮 Lumene Beauty Drops: Vitamin C, lingonberry, cloudberry. These goldfish shaped satchets are packaged for daily use and filled with a silky serum that leaves a primer-like smooth finish. The silicone feeling is comparable to my favorite YSL Touche Éclat, it has vitamin C for preventing photoaging, and it smells like berries. Love!
✨heimish Artless Glow Base: SPF50/PA+++. I was expecting to love this, but it’s just OK. I like the SPF, but I was expecting a more illuminating payoff. I use the bareminerals Complexion Rescue Hydrating Gel Cream on top.
☁️glossier Cloud Paint in Dusk: I love how this rusty-peach color sheers on my tan skin! It’s a bit hard to control how much cream comes out of the tube, but this lovely color is almost impossible to overdo.
👦glossier Boy Brow in Brown: I never used to do anything with my brows, but this has left me forever changed! This thickens my brows and holds them in place, but it looks so…natural. I usually side-eye anything that reaches Boy Brow’s level of hype, but its accolades are totally deserved.

Summery, glowing skin, cat eye + a poppy lip!
A favourite look that never gets old! A cute cat-eye wing and red lipstick is a must! Any of ILIA’s Tinted Lip Conditioners are incredible! They’re so comfy on the lips and feel like a balm, but have such pretty pigment!
Here’s the general breakdown of what I’m wearing!
ILIA - ILIA Tinted Lip Conditioner THE BEST wearable red! Wish ILIA still made this shade. You can find it online at random retailers though if you search it! (I.e. the one linked here!)
SEN - Skin Silk Liquid Concealer & Foundation in Shade 10. (I may possibly be a shade deeper, this was a smidge too light for me but I made it work!) Though it’s fairly new to me, I really like this foundation! It blends beautifully on the skin. Medium to full coverage but can be easily sheered out with a good glowy skincare base! Overall a big fan!
FITGLOW BEAUTY - Vegan Good Lash+ Mascara One of my favourites! Lasts all day, no transfer and makes your lashes look falsies long!
ILIA - NightLite Bronzer Powder Beautiful pigment, blends like butter!
ILIA - DayLite Highlighter Powder in Decades. A gorgeous glowy highlighting powder! I don’t always love a powder highlight, but this is gorgeous.
SEN - Petite Mineral Blush in Velveteen. Beautiful pigment and blends well!
PACIfICA - Highest Def Hemp Fiber Brow Set May be one of my favourite brow products at this moment in time!
Glossier. - Pro Tip Brush Point Liquid Eyeliner in Black. Glides on like a dream and is so precise!
Anyone can rock this look! Just switch up the shades accordingly to your skin shade/tone!
ILIA-DayLite Highlighter Powder
Everyday staples 💥 the Kevyn Aucoin glass glow highlighter is truly in a league of its own. I need to get the other two shades ASAP.

Highlighter Competition! This or that?
Both of them are highlighter stick. There’s a reason that I like the stick style, it’s because I don’t need to use the brushes or any tools to apply the makeup. I could put it in my purse for touch- ups.
Benefit Cream to Powder Highlighter
The shades of benefit highlighter is neutral gold-ish, matches my skin tone very well. Texture is very creamy and easy to apply. I will apply it before the setting powder that could in case of cakey. And, I will apply it on my fingers first, then tab on my cheekbones and nose. It gives my face shimmery glow and a healthy look.
Glossier Haloscope #QUARTZ
Haloscope is makeup plus skincare. The central side of products is vitamin-rich moisturizer, it provides skin hydration. This highlighter comes in three shades, QUARTZ is the most popular one. I guess it works for all skin tone. At first few try, I think it’s so hard to use. The highlighter cream just cake together and make me feel very annoying. After I saw beauty blogger’s review, I noticed that it’s better to warm up the highlighter cream a bit by fingers, then pressed it into skin. Then, I started to like it. And, it looks lightweight on the skin!
So, who wins this competition? I don’t know... I luv both of them!
