CLINIQUE - Chubby Stick Shadow Tint for Eyes in Ample Amber. The color didn’t build well. Thinking of trying the purple because there is no such thing as a purple eyeshadow I won’t try, but this is a little too neutral for me. WANDER BEAUTY - Unlashed Volume & Curl Mascara I think this product might be called ‘unlashed’ because it makes your lashes disappear. I understand no makeup makeup but I don’t understand ‘no makeup makeup’ mascara. It’s undemocratic. What was Allure thinking? bareMinerals - Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 in Opal. It is not the kind of coverage I need right now with the breakouts from the PEACH & LILY - Power Calm Hydrating Gel Cleanser which has broken me out so badly. It is also too...shiny and summery. I am buying UOMA BEAUTY - Say What?! Foundation this weekend because it is better coverage. tarte - Shape Tape Concealer in 16N. Really great coverage but the texture clashes with the BareMinerals. Hoping tarte + UOMA is a better match. The color match is great though. OFRA - OFRA Highlighter I have become disillusioned with Rodeo Drive. I don’t know if it is old and needs to be replaced or I need to use a different highlighter under bronzer. Too Faced - Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer in Milk Chocolate. I need to figure out a better brush for this bronzer. Suggestions welcome. Has an initial faint chocolate scent that dissipates quickly. Lasts but does, eventually settle into pores. Another reason to switch to foundation. FENTY BEAUTY - Glossy Posse Mini Gloss Bomb Set in Ruby Milk. Great color in the tube but not intense enough for me when wearing. Very comfortable to wear, subtle scent that dissipates quickly. Easy to apply. If you like a more neutral lip, this would be a good holiday present for you or a friend. Title from Lauryn Hill. One of the biggest parts of doing a ‘no makeup’ makeup look is letting your own skin shine through. You can see my freckles and imperfections because the goal is natural and glowing not flawless. 1) Good skincare is most important, make sure you’ve cleansed, moisturised, applied any serums and SPF then let them absorb before starting any makeup application. Healthy skin means you don’t need loads of product to cover up 🙌🏻 2) Apply a thin layer of your favourite tinted moisturiser or BB cream to even everything out while letting your skin do the talking 3) Conceal and colour correct any areas you need, I only do under my eyes to cover dark circles then set with the lightest dusting of translucent powder to keep everything in place during the day. No baking here 🙅🏻‍♀️ if you have any blemishes you can spot conceal and blend out with your choice of brush or sponge then again set lightly with powder 4) Use a large fluffy brush to apply a sweep of bronzer from one cheek across your nose to the other cheek then around your hairline and down around your jawline and chin. I use the fluffiest brush I have to diffuse the bronzer gently over my face so my skin has an all over healthy glow rather than a sculpted or contoured look. Using the same fluffy brush I sweep a touch of blush from just under my cheekbones back to wards my hairline. 5) OPTIONAL: Use a smaller face brush to sweep highlighter softly across your cheekbones, bridge of your nose, centre of your forehead and chin. This is just to give your skin an extra touch of natural glow so choose a highlighter which is warm and natural in colour and remember less is more! 5) Fill your eyebrows if you need then use a clear brow gel to gently brush your brows upward and set in place to give them more volume. I have virtually zero brows so I have to fill them but if you’ve got lovely full brows you can forgo filling and just use a brow gel to groom and set in place. 6) Use a fluffy blending brush and a touch of the same bronzer you used on your face and blend into your crease to give definition to your eyes and make your eye colour pop ✨ 7) Apply mascara to top and bottom lashes then lip balm to enhance your natural lip colour. Gloss is one of my fav ways to jazz up my Zoom interviews. I love these glosses from Maybelline. I got most of the non glitter kind as I’m not a fan of that on me. These glosses have hyaluronic acid and give me that plumper effect without the tingling and cost. I have been a fan of the Buxom plumpers and Dior but at 6.99 you can’t go wrong. They aren’t extremely pigmented at one swipe but can be built up more. My fav is Silk and Reef but wear them all. Highly recommended!

These are the drugstore makeup picks I ACTUALLY use! Don’t get me wrong, I love a good Tarte Shapetape Concealer. Even the latest launches from Rare Beauty have me swooning. But drugstore makeup holds a special place in my heart. Walking through the aisles of Target or CVS gets me giddy. Quite honestly, I count those trips as my therapy sessions. Plus, these are the places were I started getting essentials to experiment with when I was younger! My favorite brands to score from are no doubt Pixi, NYX, Essence Cosmetics, Sonia Kashuk, Maybelline and Covergirl. They’re just my go-to’s! They’re the brands constantly putting out dupes for cult favorites. Everything in this picture, I use on a daily basis. I’ve been going through Maybelline Lifter Glosses like they’re going out of style. I actually was responsible for my local Target running out of stock once...oops. Another new essential that’s crawled its way into my everyday routine is the Covergirl Cooling Glow Stick. It’s part of their new Clean Fresh line and I use it on my WHOLE face. Top tip: try it under your eyes over your concealer 👀 I’m still in search for the perfect drugstore CC cream, does anyone have any good recommendations?

I’ve always loved fuss free and natural looks so im sharing my go-to no makeup look that you can do when you’re on the go but still want to look purrty🍭 it Cosmetics - it Cosmetics CC+ Cream SPF 50+ one of my fave natural bases as it has no flashbacks, and decent dewy coverage, long-lasting on my oily skin and has spf50! Loving the pump bottle too which is mess- free and travel- friendly. benefit - Benefit Tinted Cheek & Lip Stain i love this color on my medium skin tone and its very long lasting too very apt for mask- wearing times as they won’t rub off easily and this stays rain or shine. A tiny dot goes a loong way too and i use this for my lips and cheeks. ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Dipbrow Pomade i lightly dip my brush for that natural look on the brows and top it with.. PATRICK TA - Major Brow Shaping Wax i could see why this is a hyped product and it stays a long time too. Only con is you need to find the technique that works for you especially on how wet the brush should be to scrape the wax off and deposit the right amount on the brows. innisfree - No Sebum Mineral Powder i use this to set my makeup and seal my undereye concealer. It also doubles as a dry shampoo! L'ORÉAL - Telescopic Waterproof Mascara i see why this mascara is very praised and it’s because it stays on when you want it on and gives that covetable lashes for dayzzz NYX - NYX Retractable Eyeliner i use the beigey color to open up the eyes by putting it on the water line. It glides on well and stays put i have no complaints.. MAC - MAC Eyeshadow in cork. I use this for the nose line and as bronzer on the go. I love that it’s matte and taupey and also long- lasting with the packaging perfect for travel. NARS - Radiant Creamy Concealer i use this as my undereye and blemish concealer. For the undereyes, i smudge a little peach cream blush, usually NARS - The Multiple in Siam. Just a litttttllle bit to serve as corrector before the concealer. This also avoids the reverse raccoon 👀 MAC - MAC Prep + Prime Fix+ Finishing Mist this serves both as my priming and finishing spray and i love that it serves its purpose but yet to find a cheaper alternative because im aware that there may be a nice dupe out there.. 🤔 Thats it! Yup, I’m that girl clickin & clackin on her phone! Sorrrry💁🏻‍♀️ 💅🏽💅🏿💅🏼💅🏾💅🏻 I’ve been obsessed with crazy long nails since i was a little kid. I got my first set of acrylics probably sophomore year of high school. I was pretty tomboy in high school even though I wore a lot of makeup, they were pretty annoying at first & the dance companies I was in banned fake nails for shows & even practice. I would get sets occasionally in college, but went to art school & they definitely get in the way with certain processes. ♿️ I got severely injured in 2014, when I was 26, & the cuticle biting habit I’ve always had was sooo bad because I literally had nothing to do all day. I was working as a server in California at the time, so I was definitely not allowed to have fake nails or nail polish of any kind. I ended up returning to acrylics full time after I got injured & I could finally stop biting my cuticles! The nails just look so pretty, I felt less eager to mess with them & the nails are thicker than a natural nail so you can’t pick at your skin (or pop pimples with this length! Plus!) 💔 A combination of moving away from my favorite nail tech, ( TONY I LOVE YOU & OH HOW MISS YOU SO! ) & obviously quarantine, forced me to abandon my long fake nails for now. The damage: Getting full acrylic sets & fills pretty much non-stop for almost 6 years, my real nails were not cute, thin & brittle. I was so lucky to have a very talented & meticulous technician for the last 2 of those years. I honestly never had any of the nasty issues some people can face with acrylics. What are acrylics? Acrylic nails are created by first applying a plastic nail extension with glue to part of your nail to add length. Then a powder & liquid acrylic monomer are combined into a sort of “blob of dough” & shaped onto your nails with a brush & air dried. Next they will be further shaped & smoothed with manual & electric files. A GOOD tech will take about 2 hours, not less. I always chose gel polish that’s cured with a UV light on top of my acrylics, but you can also just do regular nail polish. I worked up to this length- they make me feel like myself, know what I mean? But I wouldn’t recommend starting off long if you aren’t used to it. Your natural nails grow out & then in 2-3 weeks you can get what’s called a “fill”, where your polish is removed & a small amount of the monomer is applied to the base of your nail bed & blended into what you already have on your nail. Quarantine: Had my last real set in February... I ordered long press-ons a few times, which I really loved, but they’re just not the same strength-wise. I was actually kinda rough on my nails & rarely broke them. At least when press-ons pop off, you can just glue it back on instead of rushing to the salon! I’ve had fun trying ones with gems & charms! In the past I stuck to solid colors & glitter with acrylics due to the cost & sitting time. IMO the best press-ons are from black owned business, Hawt Nailz!

GLAMNETIC - Black Liquid Magnetic Liner another new to me brand. includes magnetic liner and a pair of their “bella” lashes. however, i don’t wear lashes or eyeliner, so i’ll be gifting this! retails for $63. tarte - Maneater Mascara does anyone know if this comes in a waterproof formula?! i have only tried this once but i’m OBSESSED. i’m not one to fawn over mascara, because they all seem pretty similar, but THIS one 👏🏻 retails for $23. MAC - MAC Matte Lipstick new to me brand! love the formula and feel of this, not sure on the color for me personally. retails for $19. Hey Cherie Fam! 🍒 Happy new year all! I decided to do a natural and dewy makeup for my first look of 2021...and by natural I mean no lashes and no crazy and dramatic eyeshadow. For some this may be dramatic so it depends how you define “natural”. ...and by new products I mean new to me. Sorry that the tittle is a little click-baity 😳🥺 I got new products that I’ve been trying and loving lately. For DRUGSTORE PRODUCTS, I used: • MAYBELLINE - Lifter Gloss With Hyaluronic Acid I am wearing the shade petal and omfg I am never spending $$$ on fenty again because this is the exact same dupe. Formula feels the same and smells the same •wet n wild - MegaGlo Blushlighter I love this product, however I don’t think this is a “blush”. I thought the pink side was a blush but it’s as sheer and as shimmery as the highlighter. On the plus side, this is helping me GLOW and look dewy af. I got the shade “I Met Someone” •e.l.f. - Poreless Putty Primer I talked about this primer so many times and it’s so worth the $8! I don’t even use my high end primers anymore •e.l.f. - Instant Lift Brow Pencil I ran out of my HG brow pencil (Benefit Precisely my Brow) and tried this. It’s so creamy and the quality is so good. I use the nude and white shade HIGH-END PRODUCTS •ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Micro-Stroking Detailing Brow Pen I got the shade in dark brown and I prefer this much more than benefit’s microfilling pen. It’s much more precise and easier to use •ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - ANASTASIA Beverly Hills Pro Pencil You don’t need this. You can use concealer to clean up your brows but this makes it much easier and faster. I caught ABH’s 2 for 30 deal otherwise I wouldn’t repurchase •NATASHA DENONA - Mini Nude Eyeshadow Palette My current favorite 🤩 I have been using this and it’s perfect for an everyday look. I absolutely love the REVOLUTION - Satin Kiss Lipstick— they’re only AU$10 / US$7 / £4 and great value for money. The formula is creamy and easy to apply, they come in a beautiful range of colours which have great colour payoff, are non-drying and comfortable to wear. They also come in super cute rose gold packaging and the tubes are topped with lips in the colour of the lipstick which makes them easy to identify when they’re stored in my lipstick organiser without needing to pull them out and look at the bases like with pretty much every other lipstick I own.

Have you guys seen Emily in Paris? I know its stereotypical, unrealistic, and kindofunfairtothefrench but... It was so entertaining. I binged it in 2 days. I also found Emily’s actress, Lily Collins, super pretty. She looks like Snow White in so many makeup looks, so I tried my hand at once. This is what she wore in the 2017 Oscars. Here’s a few tips for how I did this look! 🍷 TIPS 🍷 Start the liner with pencil. And keep it in the outer corner of your eyes. The pencil should emphasize your upper and lower outer corners to frame the wing. I used my PHYSICIANS FORMULA - Eye Boost Gel Eyeliner Trio Avoid felt-tipped liner. Ironically, that’s what I used here. The L'ORÉAL - Infallible Super Slim Liquid Eyeliner IS great quality and value. Its opaque and hasn’t gone bad with on/off use in 2 years. The finish is sort of shiny, and it glides on easy. Buuuut for this look, go for full paint liquid liner. It’ll make the wing more pronounced, and less likely to fray. The felt tip is great, but the ink can run low for this kind of look. Use white + light eyeshadow to emphasize the space. This helps a LOT. It doesn’t look like it at first, but this look has shadow! I used the URBAN DECAY - UD x Gwen Stefani Eyeshadow Palettepalette. Take a color that’s your skin color (but shimmery) and apply it all over your eyelid. (I used the shade Bathwater) Put a MINIMAL amount of brown crease shadow at the outer edge (Anaheim). Do a bright inner corner highlight (Blonde) AAAAAND fill in the space between your black liner (Blonde). It might soften the black liner- No worries, pure liquid liner can easily go over it again. Still, using skin-toned / brighter shadow really makes the black pop! Make your lashes biggest at the center. Guys I had to redo my lashes like 10 times. And I trimmed the ends a LOT. It doesn’t even make it across my entire lid, but that’s okay- To match Lilly Collin’s look, center the lashes. Opt for a frayed look like e.l.f. - Natural Lash Kit so it opens your eyes without hiding the liner. I personally like this lash set and glue. The lashes are a little fragile, but they’re comfortable. And I like that the glue is clear- You can’t see all the places I accidentally got it on my eye. 🤡 Pick a lip color with sheen. Her lips aren’t fully matte in this picture. But I like that- they have a pretty glow. I went for a more berry looking color. The NYX - Soft Matte Metallic Lip Cream in Madrid is just as good as the regular matte lip colors. They’re not drying, and they’re super pigmented. And finally, a subtle blush. I found that peach/ amber goes well with this look. Apply it to the apples of your cheek, and avoid the under eyes. This will make the eye area look more open. I used the BOURJOIS - Little Round Pot Blusher in Rose Amber. A little hard to swatch, but pretty and subtle!
