I came across a run down on Cremes Come True blog about drug store dupes of high end products. I’m a lover of beautiful makeup products but I’ve been on a tighter than usual budget recently so decided I’d work my way through each of the dupe products, try them and review them for you guys since drug store products have come so far in the last few years. The products Cremes Come True compared are: PRIMER High End — TATCHA - The Silk Canvas Protective Primer Drug Store — e.l.f. - Poreless Putty Primer FOUNDATION High End — Too Faced - Born This Way Natural Finish Foundation Drug Store — MAYBELLINE - Super Stay Full Coverage Foundation CONCEALER High End — tarte - Shape Tape Concealer Drug Store — MAYBELLINE - Super Stay Full Coverage Under-Eye Concealer BLUSH High End — Glossier. - Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color Drug Store — MAYBELLINE - Cheek Heat Gel-Cream Blush HIGHLIGHTER High End — rms beauty - Luminizer X Quad Drug Store — e.l.f. - Shimmer Palette MASCARA High End — Too Faced - Better Than Sex Mascara Drug Store — L'ORÉAL - Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara LIPSTICK High End — ARMANI beauty - Lip Magnet Liquid Lipstick Drug Store — L'ORÉAL - Rouge Signature Matte Liquid Lipstick Make sure you follow me and keep an eye out for incoming reviews on the e.l.f. Poreless Putty Primer and Maybelline Cheek Heat cream blush which I’ve been trying out over the last couple weeks 🥰 Next on my list to try are the L’Oreal Lash Paradise mascara (since Too Faced BTS is one of my favourite mascaras!) and e.l.f. Shimmer Palette. Have you tried any of these products and did you love them or were you not a fan?

5 products 5 minute makeup look
I never really wear makeup at all but sometimes it’s fun to experiment and feel confident once in a while ! this is really simplified makeup look for natural all day makeup that doesn’t look cakey or anything my go to foundation for years now has been the benefit - Hello Happy Flawless Brightening Foundation SPF 15 and I haven’t really been able to find anything like it! it’s not too full coverage (which is perfect for me), but I think it can definitely be buildable! benefit - Gimme Brow+ Volumizing Eyebrow Gel this is a lifesaver! I have never tried to fill in my brows at all really so this is something that is perfect for me. it makes your eyebrows pop and doesn’t look like much has been done to them at all. I use shade 3.5. Too Faced - Better Than Sex Mascara the wand and application of this mascara is incredible ! it makes my lashes look longer and more full! I also have their waterproof mascara that is amazing. for me, this is better than any benefit mascara I have used. up until mascara I wore mascara EVERY DAY for 3 years straight.... yup.... i know... and this is definitely my fav. NARS - Motu Tane Face Palette I really like this palette because it has al lathe basics you need for bronzer, blush and highlight! everything is really pigmented and it doesn’t take much product to get the result that you want. STILA PALETTE- (unfortunately I couldn’t find this exact one on here). I got this recently so have only used it a couple times but the shades are so beautiful and they range from both neutrals to deeper glam shades. they are really pigmented and there isn’t any fall out. for my eyes in this I used the top middle shade.

INTERVIEW MAKEUP + TIPS TO GETTING THE JOB💼✨
HOW I DID MY MAKEUP FOR INTERVIEWS + TIPS TO GETTING THE JOB I have been on the search for a new job for sometime now. I am a fairly recent graduate with little experience and plus being in a global pandemic it has been challenging to find the right fit. Throughout my research on how to look presentable during interviews, here are some tips I gathered that helped me get multiple job offers.  Less is more:  •Makeup: Now I am not a fan of this saying because I love being extra with contour, and big lashes, etc. but when you are doing makeup for an interview less is more. The interviewer’s main focus is going to be listening to what you can bring to their company. If they are distracted by glittery eyes or a bright pink lip they might not be fully listening to what you have to offer. I would recommend to stick to a more “conservative” look with a clean makeup base, minimal eye makeup and possibly a lip color that you feel comfortable in.  •Hair: When choosing the right hairstyle for an interview, you still want to keep in mind that your face will be the main focus. With that being said, you do not want to take away from what you are saying by any hair distractions. It would be best to keep your hair pulled back and out of the way so it does not cause any interferences. (Especially if you play with your hair, that could be a big distraction away from what you are saying.) If wearing your hair down or a bright lip color makes you feel confident then I would go for it. Ultimately you want to be comfortable with how you look so that confidence can transfer over well into your interview Dress the part: Companies want to see if you are a good fit by imagining yourself in the role. When you dress the part you are saving them this step. If they can see you professionally as one of their own, it will be easier for them to determine if you are a good fit. I would recommend sticking to basic/neutral colors and solid pieces. Blazers are always a good choice when it comes to layering and they make me feel more professional and confident going into an interview. Again, like mentioned before, wear what you feel most comfortable in.  Check your background: This tip has nothing to do with your actual physical image but I still think it’s important to mention now that a lot of interviews are being conducted over video-call platforms. I recommend choosing a background with MINIMAL clutter and possibly adding greenery into the scene. If none of this is possible, opt for a neutral-solid color background. You can even hang up an ironed white sheet if necessary. Also, make sure there will be minimal noise distractions wherever you are interviewing. If you live with others, make sure you let them know that you will be interviewing so no distractions can occur.  SMILE & relax: Unless you are applying to a job where you do not need to be friendly… SMILE. It looks good to see that you are friendly and confident in the way you carry yourself. Also, it is important to relax and don't let the nerves get the best of you.  • Psych tips:  ◦Even if you mess up, if you are still smiling you can trick the interviewer into thinking you still have yourself composed.  ◦The feeling of excitement and fear are SO closely related that you can turn one of those feelings into the other. When I get very anxious I like to tell myself I’m actually excited and it will help calm my nerves. Makeup used: •foundation:Too Faced - Born This Way Natural Finish Foundation •contour:MARC JACOBS BEAUTY - O!Mega Bronzer Coconut Perfect •blush: bareMinerals - bareMinerals Loose Powder BlushI like this blush because it has a little bit of shimmer in it and acts as a highlighter as well •mascara:Too Faced - Better Than Sex Mascara •false lashes: (custom) •lips:  MAC - MAC Lip Pencil in ‘subculture'  I hope these tips were helpful and good luck if you are in the interviewing process!

DIY TINTED MOISTURIZER 💫
DIY tined moisturizer is one of my oldest tricks in the book! I’ve been doin it for years and it has saved me so much money and counter space because I can use products that I already own. It’s great for days off when I want a little coverage for my face but I want it to be quick, easy and natural. The products I’m using to make my tinted moisturizer are dermalogica - Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50 Moisturizer and Too Faced - Born This Way Natural Finish Foundation . How to! 1. Put a pea size amount of both your moisturizer and foundation on the back of your hand 2. Use a small makeup brush or Q-tip to combine together (I would avoid using your finger because of bacteria) 3. I use a foundation brush to apply all over my face and blend in 4. Finish with a setting powder, I love Glossier’s Wowder so that you’re not too shiny 5. You’ve got a little bit of coverage plus spf and you’re good to go!

Maybelline cheek heat
MAYBELLINE - Cheek Heat Gel-Cream Blush this blush is so beautiful, it goes on very easily and provides a beautiful pink healthy glow. I’ve used this when I am tan and pale and it leaves a lasting impression on both looks. Some say that this is not very pigmented, however I have the shade “pink scorch 10” and it seems to be great!

Feeling ill?? Slap some makeup on!
I apologize for the sparse posts. Mama has been feeling under the weather with some serious health issues. Instead of wallowing in bed all day, I decided to play with my NATASHA DENONA - Eyeshadow Palette 5 in Dusk. These colors are to die for, and they have quite a bit of versatility once you start playing around with them. And that blending power? *chef’s kiss* Also, I just started using Milk MAKEUP - Kush Waterproof Mascara . I’ll be the first to tell you that I HATE waterproof mascara because I find it to be too abrasive, but this product gives you incredible volume and actually comes off with my regular cleanser!

ARMANI says it's a revolutionary matte liquid lipstick?
ARMANI beauty - Lip Magnet Liquid Lipstick I was a fan of Armani's Lip Maestro, so I got 2 Armani Lip Magnet liquid lipsticks once they were launched as they are supposed to be revolutionary. I got 2 shades 504 and 403. The Lip Magnets from Armani are matte liquid lipsticks, and the formula is a water-in-oil emulsion, like a mix of oils, pigments, and water that gradually evaporates after the lipstick has been applied, allowing the oils and pigments to merge with the lips and leave an intense color veil with a luminous matte finish. Hydrating: It's really lightweight although it has a matte finish. It's suitable for dry lips too. It's non-greasy, smudge-proof, and you can feel it quickly forming a film over the lips. Long-lasting: It's very long-lasting and doesn't come off even after eating and drinking. It's advertised to last 8 hours and I agree with that. Packaging: It's small and easy to carry. The pointy tip of the applicator makes it easy and convenient to use. Shade: Shade 504 is a soft shade between coral pink and dusty rose. It's not really glowy so it can be worn for a no makeup look. Shade 403 is deep red with a purple undertone and a vintage style. You can apply a thin layer for everyday use or a thicker layer for a special occasion with full makeup.

Armani! Different types of liquid lipsticks
Lip Maestro Liquid Matte Lipstick #200 I got this one few month ago, and this color became my favorite. The color is brownish red, the official name is terra-brown. I love how the lipstick changes the finish in seconds. When you apply on lips, it is satin, but it would become matte finish really fast. Easy to apply, hydrating, long lasting and pigmented are what I love of this lipstick. A mush have!!! Ecstasy Lacquer Lip Gloss #500 Vintage-rose gold color. I like to use gloss lipstick in summer. The ultra-glossy finish looks amazing in summer with sunshine. Glitter makes the lipstick so shinny and girlish. This product is renowned for maximum shine, intense color and length of wear. Also, there is another reason. Summer does not cloudy that much, the lipstick is sticky, so it is not that friendly for fall and winter. Also, gloss lipstick always has a magic, which is lip enhancement effect. Lip Magnet Liquid Lipstick #400 This is a true universal red. Also a matte finish lipstick combines rich color with thin texture for weightless wear. The high coverage formula of highly concentrated with pigment features a breakthrough texture, and easy to apply. These 3 lipsticks have the same pointy applicator, which is really easy to apply on the points you want. That is what I like. Also, 3 of them are long lasting, I do not need to apply lipstick again and again. Armani is really good on pigments. I love each single color that I bought.

🤪Glowy natural makeup when I’m late😌 (~10min)
SKIN TYPE: Very dry skin, eczema, sensitive and acne-prone all at the same time🙃🙃 Sometimes using prescribed cortisteroid ointments (Novasone) for eczema flare ups or reactions. PRODUCTS USED (in order): Primer I use e.l.f. - Poreless Putty Primer , it’s so cheap but acts as a nice bond/barrier between skin after skincare routine and applying makeup; it’s so good in preventing drying out my skin but it’s not very hygienic as fluff or dust gets stuck. Usually patting the primer into the skin and waiting a moment for it to melt into the skin. Foundation is a cushion #CHANEL - Vitalumiére Glow[products]#[FourStars] (#21), gives a shine upon application while still looking like natural skin. It’s a light to medium coverage and I find it doesn’t cling to my dry patches. I don’t use concealer most of the time but I do use the powder Charlotte Tilbury - Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder to set under the eyes, smile lines, nose contour area, chin and forehead. I don’t produce much oil through the day at all but I do sweat and the powder helps set makeup while still looking natural and doesn’t take away the glow too much. For the price though, there might be better cheaper alternatives🥺. Brows I usually use the innisfree - Auto Eyebrow Pencil or the ETUDE - Tint My Brows Gel New +benefit - 24-Hour Brow Setter Clear Brow Gel, the tint can last ~2-3 days so it saves time if I’ve already filled in and drawn my brows the night before😂. The only con is that on initial application the tint looks green-ish in the camera. #NARS - Original blush - Orgasm[products]#[FourStars] for the slight golden shimmer enhancing the glow of the cushion foundation, usually building it up for a slightly brighter flush of colour on the cheeks as the colour doesn’t show too much when you first apply it. Highlight usually the FENTY mini Kilowatt highlight in the shade Hustla Baby, it’s a golden sheen that really blends in with my skin tone and not too glittery while also blends in with the NARS blush. If I’m feeling extra then also lightly adding in the FENTY mini Diamond Bomb highlight. Eyeliner is the brownUZ - Eye Opening Liner Usually use various lengthening falsies or innisfree - Skinny Microcara Last but most crucial thing for me is the URBAN DECAY - All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray , it really pulls the whole look together, adding back some shine where I’ve powdered thus making the whole look more natural. Also with the spray I don’t have to worry about the makeup transferring or fading/melting away during the day unless 8+ hours. Lip products include: CHANEL - Rouge Coco Flash Lipstick(#212) #CHANEL - Rouge Allure Laque[products]# romand - Glasting Water Tint 6 Colors FENTY BEAUTY - Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer FENTY BEAUTY - Diamond Bomb Baby Mini Lip Gloss and Highlighter Set

Long stay Must have girls! My top 3 kiss proof lip stains for dating💋💋💗💗
Finding a long-lasting, smudge-proof lip stain that survives all day and night is no mean feat – unless you're channelling the freshly-smooched lips from the runway, that is. If that lipstain gets smudged or wears down that trick can backfire on you in a major way, especially when you are enjoying a sweet dating. This post I am going to share three lovely babies for you! Top1 DIOR - Addict Lip Tattoo I bought the color 771. I really like this color. This lip stain is the top one among all the lip stains I have used. It is super glossy and gorgeous color. I would definitely recommend this lip stain to every girl who wants long lasting popping color. It's that deserving of its body art-inspired name! Top2 REVLON - Ultra HD Matte Lip Color It is waterproof and matte, is a sexy and juicy color and the best thing about this is that it lasts a long time, I love it, it has a sweet smell that is great, and the perfect tone for my lips. It's not super expensive either. So I would definitely buy it again! Top3 L'ORÉAL - Rouge Signature Matte Liquid Lipstick I recommend the color 450. I wasn’t too sure about it when I picked it up but it’s so pretty. It’s very wet on application, but not like a gloss. It’s silky and smooth and leaves a really pretty matte finish.Long stay Must have girls!!! These three lip stains are all worth the money. Brought from target with a good deal!!! 🥰🥰🥰

Under $20! Dupe for NARS slow ride & Chanel 834💄
L'ORÉAL - Rouge Signature Matte Liquid Lipstick provides the color impact of a liquid lipstick with a weightless, bare-lip sensation. This ultra-comfortable liquid matte lip stain provides lasting matte color and gives lips intense color. The Rouge Signature Matte High Pigment, lightweight lip ink, is one of the best long lasting lip products I have ever used! I love make up and have tried probably 90 percent of long lasting lip colors, lip stains, lip sticks, etc, of all sorts and brands, I'm also very picky, so I definitely know a great lip product. This Lip stain goes on so smooth, the color is absolutely beautiful, fully pigmented, and long lasting, even after drinking and eating. It doesn't flake, or dry your lips out, it really is and does feel lightweight, there ar no sticky clumps. I find that so many lip products that are long lasting and matte finish, cause extreme dry lips, flaking, and color fading, but all these problems are solved with L'Oréal's Rouge Signature. I suprisingly find that #116 is a good dupe for NARS - Powermatte Lip Pigmentslow ride and Chanel 834CHANEL - Rouge Allure Liquid Powder Liquid Matte Lip Color!! #116 I explore is a really nice colour on me. You do have to reapply if after a while which is the only downside but it lasts longer than other L'oréal lipsticks I've tried. I would definitely recommend it. I love the subtleness of the colour on my lips. It feels smooth on my lips so is easy to apply. I really like the fact that you don’t feel like you are wearing lipstick as it feel light on my lips.... The colour is slightly darker than online but still nice. It has a funny consistency when applying very thin and waterlike and then it dries to a rich matt colour. However there are also some disadvantages. Upon application this stain went on smoothly and felt pleasant, the texture is very smooth. As it dried it did feel very light, although I would say more 'barely there' than 'bare lip'.After about half an hour my lips did start to feel dry so I checked my reflection and thought they looked quite dry too. It's worth mentioning that my lips have quite deep lines which is why I prefer glossy lipsticks that sit on the surface. If you don't have this problem then it probably won't bother you.At this point I had a cup of tea and a biscuit to see how the lip stain fared. Not well, it was completely gone afterwards but then it didn't promise to be permanent so I just reapplied it.The next day I added some clear gloss over the top and got on much better. No dry lips and the gloss protected the colour for a while.Whilst I like the colour and subtle scent of this lip stain I probably won't buy it myself as I'd rather a moisturising lipstick or gloss. However if you like the matte look and want something lighter than most lipsticks I'd try this. Remember These ey Benefits: * At last, matte color with a lightweight feel - bare lip sensation, lasting matte finish * Matte colored lip stain delivers high color impact with a no-makeup feel * Ultra-lightweight, impactful pigment, fresh matte finish, and lasting wear * Designed with precision applicator to shape and line your lips

LIGHTWEIGHT, MEDIUM & FULL COVERAGE CONCEALERS✨
Concealer is one of those makeup items I can’t live with out. It does so much— highlight, conceal, brighten. It took me awhile to find my ultimate favorite concealers but here is the products I found work best for my skin type (combination). Product: NARS - Radiant Creamy Concealer ✨thin/lightweight consistency ✨radiant finish ✨light- medium coverage This product is great for brightening/highlighting. I like to buy a shade lighter than my actual skin tone to brighten up the under eyes and highlight the brow bone. Because of its thin consistency, this concealer never appears cake-y. I also love this concealer because it doesn’t create creasing under the eyes. Product: JOSIE MARAN - Vibrancy Argan Oil Full Coverage Concealer Fluid ✨medium consistency ✨dewy finish ✨medium, buildable coverage This concealer is great for spot concealing. It has a dewy finish so it doesn’t make the product look too full coverage. I also like using this product mixed with moisturizer to create a tinted moisturizer. It gives my skin a light coverage with a dewy glow. Product: tarte - Shape Tape Concealer ✨thick consistency ✨matte finish ✨full coverage This product is very thick so I recommend using less of it. It has great pigmentation so I love using it to conceal dark areas in my face— such as dark circles. If you use a small dab of the product it will blend out seamlessly with a matte finish. If you use too much, it can look cake-y. When ever I use this product I notice no purple undertones under my eyes. Side note: a similar concealer that is not as thick that still works similar is Too Faced - Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Concealer I have been using these 3 concealers for quite some time now and love the way they work for my skin type. ✨

Birthday Makeup!
In which I pull out all the stops (on a budget)! TULA SKINCARE - Smoothing Primer Gel I love the way this feels on my skin and how it makes my makeup almost glide on. Definitely worth the price and worth combing through the ‘new arrivals’ page on Ulta for. UOMA BEAUTY - Say What?! Foundation in T1N. A great match for me. I wish it were a tad more moisturizing because even with my new primer it does settle into the pores near my nose after a couple of hours. But it lasts and lasts and gives decent luminosity: I am thinking of mixing it with something though during the winter. Any suggestions? Too Faced - Shadow Insurance Anti-Crease Eyeshadow Primer Holy Grail. Next. PAT McGRATH LABS - Celestial Divinity Luxe Quad in Fleur Fantasia. This is the most disappointing product I have ever bought from PML. Two of the colors were dry and hard to work with. The pink was way too creamy for my tastes and when blended they ended up in a mush of color like a two year old’s watercolors. I expect better from this brand and at these prices. PAT McGRATH LABS - Dark Star Volumizing Mascara Holy Grail. I have long lashes but they are light brown. This product, in two coats, gives me LASHES. tarte - Shape Tape Concealer Terrible for blemishes and dark spots but the texture makes it really great for brightening under eye circles when applied on top of foundation. I guess we all have our niche. PHYSICIANS FORMULA - Murumuru Butter Bronzer in Light Bronze. Possibly the best on the market. Easy to apply and I can use my fingers to even it out. A dream product. CLINIQUE - Cheek Pop Blush in Melon Pop. Cherie made me buy this. Thank you, Cherie. This is great on top of bronzer and gives a nice glow. It is, dare I say, better than Orgasm by Nars because the glow is subtle and it doesn’t emphasize my pores. It also feels great on. Very smooth and buttery. bareMinerals - Mineralist Hydra-Smoothing Lipstick Drying but the color lasts for about four hours through eating and drinking. Not the best lipstick out there but not the worst. The color is great though! My birthday was great! Planning out the makeup for my birthday was great and I want to thank all of you for the tips and tricks I’ve learned during my time as part of this comm.

Japanese Mineral BB 🌿 for Acne Prone
This is said to be friendly to oily sensitive acne prone skin. I also have sensitive skin that tends to breakout easily and have not had any trouble with this. SANA - Keana Pate Mineral BB Cream SPF 50 This is a nourishing foundation from Japan. Nourishing generally is the type of foundation, it will moisturize and nourish the skin but not burden it. I am really sensitive in autumn and winter, After washing the face at night, there will be no redness, acne, and various skin problems. This foundation is called Chinese herbal powder cream. It is famous for its nourishing ingredients and is suitable for all skins. It is highly recommended for acne-prone skin and sensitive skin The foundation i am looking for is something that not gonna add extra pressure for my skin. If a liquid foundation hurts the skin, then no matter how beautiful and long lasting it is I also resolutely not go with this. When it comes to coverage, this product is definitely a great foundation. It has medium coverage but still very light weighted and create a healthy finish with a glow. The way I use it, I pour the foundation right onto the beauty blender then quickly dab it on all areas of my face then I get to work on blending it. This is how i normally use it. And I have to say that it is the only one drawback that I am not a fan of. I hate to use my fingers or pour it every time. It would be great if it comes with a pump that makes it so much easier to grab. Comparing with another one of my recent favorite foundation, it is a totally different texture. This one from Maybelline is a drugstore foundation. It is very light, but got perfect coverage (up to 75%) and it is super long lasting. MAYBELLINE - Super Stay Full Coverage Foundation A lot of foundations turn grey on me after few hours and this one definitely not. But I do get breakout sometimes so I am not sure if it is the cause. I’ll have to do more tests on it. Comparing with these two, I prefer Covermark because of the nourishing ingredients and natural finish look.

hearts ❤️
Today i was in a good mood so I decided to do hearts !! swipe to see up lose and the products i used :)) step one : I first of course used my MAYBELLINE - Super Stay Full Coverage Under-Eye Concealer to cover any bags i had under my eyes step two: Then I used COVERGIRL - Outlast Active Get in Line Active Eyeliner for the black eyeliner, which is such a good product step three: I don’t have a red eyeliner so i used a lip liner kit i have, to make the eyeliner on my lid and another one under the black eyeliner!! step four: I shared in the eyeliner with NYX - Limited Edition PRIDE Ultimate Shadow Palette in the red shade to make it pop out more, and i did the same under my eyes, and i used the glitter eyeshadow in the pur x barbie pallet for my lids to really make it stand out. step five: Ofc no look is set without eyelashes and i love using the Lilly LASHES - Lilly LASHES 3D Faux Mink Lashes step six: After my eye makeup. I used smashbox - Cali Kissed Highlight + Blush Palette to give me rosy cheeks. step seven: For the hearts, i used the same lip liner as in step three! After the hearts, i decided to add small freckles with the same red to match it. step eight: I used the highlight in the smashbox - Cali Kissed Highlight + Blush Palette to finish off my look!

today’s mood: pink💞
Today i felt pink ! step one: I usedMAYBELLINE - Super Stay Full Coverage Under-Eye Concealer for my bags under my eyes. i love this product because i don’t have to apply a lot for it to work. step two: Then i used my signature COVERGIRL - Outlast Active Get in Line Active Eyeliner to do my favourite part about makeup!! which is eyeliner of course :)) step three: Afterwards I used RIMMEL - Wonder'swipe 2-in-1 Liner to Shadow in pink to draw out a smaller eyeliner look. Then I used the pink in the Barbie x pur pallet to go over it, and shade it in, to give it the full effect, and I used the same pink eyeshadow under my eyes step three: And ofc I had to add on my Lilly LASHES - Lily LASHES 3D Mink Lashes which are honestly so good ! step four: For giving myself rosy cheeks i used the smashbox - Cali Kissed Highlight + Blush Palette and i used the same pallet for highlight !!

Dupe alert of TATCHA 🚓 e.l.f. 💕$8 vs. 54$
Hi Cherie sisters 👯‍♀️ 💗 I want to share my recent fav product: e.l.f. poreless putty primer. I can tell that I’m a huge fan of TATCHA. The silk canva primer was by far the best primers I’ve found on the market (until I found e.l.f.). But I have continued my hunt to test out some more possible dupes with lower price. While scrolling through Cherie, I saw a post about e.l.f. poreless putty primer could be the dupe alert of TATCHA. I recently picked this up from Target and I can tell it is a dupe through component type, color, texture - everything and only $8.00 !!!! Cheap and great quality products. When I open it, it smells a bit chemically. I love the texture: feels like a mix of solid coconut oil and butter (close to a balm but not greasy) . It wasn’t stick or oily for me personally, and I felt it was a little less thick than the TATCHA !!!! It really does make for a flawless look since it is soooo smoothing and completely poreless just like it states. It definitely feels like silk when you touch it as TATCHA does. I'm dry skin type, and this is best for me since is def not dry when I use it, and it's not necessarily hydrating. I love TATCHA, but it was kind of pricey and didn’t last me that long. e.l.f. primer is the best dupe alert of TATCHA silk canva for students who can’t always afford to buy overly expensive makeup (just like me). Lower price with same quality. Gorgeous product!! Tips: I like to use finger to apply primer all over my face. The warmth from fingers will help better break the product down for easier application than brush.

Easy (five minute!) makeup for ZOOM Meetings
Doing my makeup and feeling put-together is one of my favorite things, however I don’t always have the time or energy to be able to achieve a full-face beat every day. Soft and gentle glam, I use this look when I want to feel ~soft~ and glowy, but only spend minimal time on it. I start with NARS - Radiant Creamy Concealer which I use all over my face, spot concealing redness of pimples, around my nose and lips, tip of my nose, and between my eyebrows. This brightens and evens your skin tone without a full face of foundation. You can use primer if you want, when I do I use a blurring primer like TATCHA - The Silk Canvas Protective Primer or beautyblender - Pore Minimizing Primer which smooth skin and even look good just on their own. I set with BECCA - Hydra-Mist Set & Refresh Powder and then move on to my eyes. I use one eyeshadow palette with a few colors, two of my favorites are NATASHA DENONA - Mini Nude Eyeshadow Palette and EM COSMETICS - Limited Edition Divine Skies Eyeshadow Palette which have both mattes and shimmers. Important: they don’t patch! This makes blending a breeze. I put a neutral brown in my crease and outer V, then layer a dark brown in my outer v and smudge on my lower lash line. Adding shimmer is optional, but I usually do. For this I just use my finger and swipe on the lid. All powders for my face bronzer, blush, & highlight applied with one fluffy brush. I apply blush by pinching the powder brush in my fingers to elongate it to place product where I want— my fav is PATRICK TA - Monochrome Moment Velvet Blush which applies smoothly on all skin (prepped or not). I layer with benefit - Hoola Matte Bronzer in a 3 shape, and finish with whatever glowing highlight i feel like. In this image it’s OFRA - Nikkietutorials Everglow Highlighter Brow filling is optional, but brushing them up with a gel helps you look awake and youthful with little effort. Finish with mascara and a tinted lip balm or moisturizing lipstick like Glossier. - Generation G Sheer Matte Lipstick or EM COSMETICS - EM Cosmetics Lip Cushion and you’re ready to go in less than ten!

Voluminous Lash Paradise
This is a miracle mascara! This mascara truly holds curl like no other. I use this after my shiseido lash curler. I like to curl from the base and inch outward after each curl. I usually apply the mascara at the base of my lashes repeatedly and then I separate my lashes w another lash wand. Then I apply mascara lightly at the tips of my lash. This often has been repped as the dupe of Better Than Sex mascara. For the quality, I believe it wins the price comparison. Highly recommended to those with straight stubborn lashes and a voluminous lash look. L'ORÉAL - Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara SHISEIDO - Shiseido Eyelash Curler

This mascara duo KILLED my high end brand
I can’t even call these guys a dupe because they work so much better! For half the priceessence - Get BIG! Lashes Triple Black Mascara and the essence - Volume Booster Lash Primer made my lashes BANG. No eyelash curler and no falsies needed. Lashes for days!!!! For the longest time my holy grail was the L'ORÉAL - Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara and the L'ORÉAL - Voluminous Lash Primer but when I saw the price of Essence I thought hey let’s give it a try. I didn’t think there was anything wrong with them, I got great results that lasted all day. But once using the Essence I noticed the L’Oreal primer was actually a little dry now this was a tube I had for a couple weeks so it wasn’t old by any means and it didn’t seem to curl my lashes as much as Essence primer did. I also noticed how much primer was being layered on my lashes and I needed 4-5 coats to get what Essence was putting down. Then the mascara itself I usually used 2 coats with L’Oreal and was happy. I only needed one dip and it was more than plenty. I have to say the overall look Essence just had a bolder look and for half the price! I’m not going to buy L’Oreal anymore.

Baddie On A Budget
Baddie On A Budget
Hello beautiful people! on this post i decided to share with yall some of my drugstore ride or dies! FACE/BASE NYX - Bare With Me Cannabis Primer MAYBELLINE - SuperStay 24H Full Coverage Liquid Foundation e.l.f. - Hydrating Camo Concealer L'ORÉAL - L'Oreal Paris Infallible More Than Concealer 10ml #Quo Beauty - Blush Duo - Peach Perfect[products]#[FourStars] MILANI - Rose Powder Blush MAYBELLINE - Super Stay Multi-Use Foundation Stick i find that i would constantly reach for these products more than others! my top picks for this list, however, would be the L’Oreal concealer and the Maybelline foundation stick! If you’re wondering why i have two of them foundation pics, it’s bc I use one as a contour stick, and the other as a spot corrector! i love how they blend out perfectly no matter what foundation i use. LIPS essence - Shine Shine Shine Holiday Kit NYX - Suede Matte Lipstick L'ORÉAL - Rouge Signature Matte Liquid Lipstick MILANI - Keep It Sweet Sugar Lip Scrub when i got the Essence shine shine shine lipgloss, it was CLEAR, i swear!!! it’s the best clear gloss for its price, in my opinion. yall can see how used and love this product is on the picture lol. both the Nyx and the L’Oreal matte lippies are my fave when i want to rock a nude lip, and what better way to prevent crusty lips than a lip exfoliator! i like the Milani one because it did the job for me AND it tastes good (let’s be honest, sometimes we “accidentally” ingest these). EYES wet n wild - Bretman Rock Shadow Palette NYX - Ultimate Shadow Palette pixi - Liquid Fairy Lights L'ORÉAL - Telescopic Mascara when it comes to eye make up, i either tone it AAAALL the way down, or i go HAM with colors. these palettes give me both! plus points for Bretman’s palette too, because I AM ALL HERE FOR THE FILIPINO PRIDE! the Nyx palette is my first ever rainbow palette, so it will always have a place in my heart. the Fairy Lights, i find, is a good dupe for the Stila liquid shadows, and the Telescopic mascara is the ONLY mascara for me. and there you have it! if you’re looking to have a good makeup day that can also save some $$$, try these products! special mention to MILANI - Eye Tech Extreme Liquid Eyeliner : this guy never failed me yet! i threw out my empty, and I’m in dire need of a new one lol. Hope this post helps some yall! Happy hunting!

Your Skin But Better In A Bottle!
Your Skin But Better In A Bottle!
Here’s a little background on my skin. She’s a high maintenance b*tch that likes to suck my bank account dry. Boujee on a budget it? 75% of the time for her that’s not the case. I hate her for it. I can’t stand that my skin looks so PERFECT when I applied Pat McGraths skin fetish foundation because this little bottle cost me $68 plus tax!😵 It looks so amazing that I bought two bottles: shade 5 a light neutral undertone for when I’m fair in the winter and shade 14 a medium neutral undertone when I’m the most sun kisssd in the summer. With these two bottles I’m also able to customize my shade when I’m in between shades during the year. Now to be honest I don’t wear makeup everyday. 90% of the time I’m bare faced. I usually put in makeup if I’m going somewhere special such as an event, on a date, feeling creative or when I need to remind myself that I’m still that b*tch. So I’m actually okay with spending a little more on a nice foundation because I know it’ll last me a long time and if it’s worth it. So the question is..is it worth it? For me YES! I bought her toward the end of summer 2019 and it has served me well through the changing NYC weather and my ever adjusting skin. Whether my skin was really dry or slightly oily the foundation sat on my skin perfectly throughout the day. It’s a nice medium coverage foundation that can be built up or sheered out depending on the look you’re going for. 1/2 to 3/4 or a pump is enough for me to get a sheer/light natural coverage where it looks like my skin just the imperfections have been discreetly masked. To get full glam coverage I can get away with one and a half pumps then not even a beauty mark in my face will peak through! In my profile picture was the first time I used the foundation and I really sheered it out because it was a hot summer day. That day I got a little oily in my t zone but the foundation lasted all day. I don’t really blot or powder because I like the dewy look on myself but also I don’t because I’m lazy and I forget and most of the time at the end of the day I genuinely don’t care haha! In my last picture that I added in this post was when I was feeling creative and really used a heavy hand to apply the foundation. In that post I DID NOT PHOTOSHOP OR BLUR MY SKIN!!!! All I did was adjust the lighting in light room and added a filter to make the three images to blend better. But I couldn’t believe how airbrushed my face came out. The proof is in the pudding. I think it shows how far you can go with this foundation.

If you have freckles - LOVE THEM! I sure do. I, admittedly, have never worn foundation a day in my life. Mostly because I feel like I'm suffocating with my face covered completely. However, I've also been trained to remember that your skin eats whatever you put on it. Foundation included. So, instead, I've found a make up routine that's perfect for pictures. You want to look like yourself. You want to look dewy and glowy but you don't want to look like someone else - You're you! 🤨 Brows - NYX - Micro Brow Pencil Nyx Micro Brow Pencil in ASH BROWN. Brown haired ladies, choose ash brown! Often times chestnut or chocolate brown look too artificial on your face. If you want a more natural brow look, opt for the ash brown color. This pencil is very very thin. You're able to draw hairlike stroked and it blends out beautifully benefit - 24-Hour Brow Setter Clear Brow Gel Set it with a clear brow gel to seal in all your hard work. 👁 Eyes - COLOURPOP - Going Coconuts I opt for a very smoked out natural eye. In pictures, the eyes can be the most captivating. Make them special. A little bit of glitter can go a long way. But the best way to highlight those eyes is to smudge a light brown (you can use your bronzer!) all over the eyes. If you're afraid of glitter all over the lid, try a metallic eyeliner! 👀 Mascara - L'ORÉAL - Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara I do not wear fake lashes. Mainly beacuse I'm afraid of them and I am not skilled enough to use adhesive around my eyeballs. I first layer on Maybelline's Lash Paradise for volume and length after curling. MAYBELLINE - Falsies Lash Lift Mascara Shortly after, I run Falsies Lash aloft through my lashes for separation and added length. Don't forget a lash comb! Game. Changer. 👓Concealer - e.l.f. - Hydrating Camo Concealer This is an exact dupe for Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer. Quite honestly, I think it's even better. It does crease a little bit so set it with a translucent powder. But the coverage is seamless and a little goes a long way. Pick a concealer 2 shades lighter than you to brighten up those eyes. ☀️🍑Bronzer & Blush - PHYSICIANS FORMULA - Murumuru Butter Bronzer KIKO - Blush Shade Fusion Trio Blush These are meant to add color to your face, not change it. I love blush, it brings a glow and warmth to your face that brings the focus to your cheeky smile. 💄Lips - I don't do too much with lips. A quick lip tint is enough. For special ocassions and professional headshots, I accentuate my eyes to bring them into focus. A little inner corner highlight can change your eyes entirely. I finish it all off with Mac Fix Plus to add a dewy radiance that melts all your makeup together. ‼️ Please let me know if you’d be interested in seeing more tips & tricks!

Some of my Fav Products I used for this look❤️
Some of my Fav Products I used for this look❤️
MAC - Mineralize Timecheck Lotion this beautiful primer will allow for a smooth application of foundation by basically giving my skin a smoothed out and velvety look laura mercier - Flawless Lumière Radiance-Perfecting Foundation Love this foundation as it is luminous whilst giving the face a beautiful natural radiant and glowy but not too glowy look. Because it is luminous it tends to melt easier therefore I gave it 4 stars because I live in the desert and a matte foundation would last longer) I still love it though because my face looks so good and natural at the same time. MORPHE - M439 Deluxe Buffer Brush This brush blends out the Laura Merciers Lumiere Radiance foundation, or any liquid foundation for that matter, completely and beautifully. Buffing brushes blend out makeup so beautifully and I find that this one does a better job at blending out liquid foundation than cream foundation. URBAN DECAY - Stay Naked Correcting Concealer beautiful and full coverage SEPHORA COLLECTION - Pro Press Full Coverage Complexion Brush #66 I love to use my fingers to blend out and pat in my concealer, then afterwards I love to use this brush to compact it into the skin. BECCA - Sunlit Bronzer one of my favorite bronzers that looks natural and just sun-kissed beautiful SEPHORA COLLECTION - PRO Angled Blush Brush #49 I find that this brush is the best for applying cream or powder bronzers ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Brow Definer love this trianglular tipped brow definer. The strokes create natural looking hairs. Too Faced - Better Than Sex Mascara hands down one of my favorite mascaras of all time ! After I curl my lashes I love to use this mascara. For today's look, however, I used L'Oreal's Telescopic waterproof mascara first and it really just lengthens the eyelash's to their fullest potential and makes them stay curled all day and then I went in with the Better Than Sex mascara to give them extra definition and volume BECCA - Hydra-Mist Set & Refresh Powder hands down my favorite translucent powder of all time because it never leaves a ghostly white cast in pictures, makeup lasts all day, even in humidity, and because it's just so refreshing. Love to apply this with it Cosmetics - Love Beauty Fully All Over Powder Brush #211 I lined my lips first with BareMinerals Gen Nude Borderline lip liner then I applied this beautiful matte lipstick from MAC - Retro Matte Lipstick in the shade Dangerous 💋 & that's a wrap ❤️❤️❤️

I’m sure many of you know the struggle of staying indoors all the time and it’s hard to justify going full face when the only one who sees you is your computer screen. But today I am venturing outside for not work related activities which means I get to be creative with my makeup! I always keep it simple and light on the face, especially now with a mask on, so tinted moisturizer with SPF is what I use! Monochrome, glittery makeup ✨
I love a good pink monochrome look, for this I took inspiration from Sanrio’s Charmmy Kitty 🎀 although I don’t think I made it much justice. I’ve been loving grabbing inspiration from characters from my childhood to do my makeup, or just from different interests that you wouldn’t think you could get inspo from! Monochrome looks are still my go-to since they’re so easy to do, but I’ve been feeling very limited since my eyelids are so hooded ✌️😔 if you have any looks for hooded eyes I could try please refer me! Or if you have hooded eyes lmk how you do your makeup ☺️
