I’ll start this off with my favourites: MISSHA - Missha All-around Safe Block Essence Sun Milk I’m so sad that I’ve run out of this. If you don’t like the feel of sunscreens that feel thick and heavy, pick this up! you won’t regret it! I also ran out of the Volition sunscreen that I paired along side this one, but recycled it before I took a picture. Briogeo - Don't Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Hair Mask (📍) Again, was so sad to run out of this, check out my post featuring this and the new hair mask I picked up for more info! THE inkey LIST - Niacinamide Oil Control Serum If I could give this 100 stars out of 10, I would. This is my favourite serum of all time and I always have two back ups in my collection! Now for my meh products: SUNDAY RILEY - CEO 15% Vitamin C Brightening Serum I liked the way that this felt don’t get me wrong, but I think because of the shimmer effect it has, it may have been breaking me out a bit. This didn’t have enough in it to last me long enough to see any effects. Kate Somerville - DeliKate Recovery Cream this is unbelievable. Although I will never buy this at the $104 price point, it’s a beautiful, thick, heavy cream. Wonderful for winter skin. fresh - Sugar Hydrating Lip Balm, Watermelon I actually have the lime+mint scent, but this is also amazing. I’ve just began started applying all my lip balms on damp lips, and I’ve found it’s made the biggest difference. No more dry lips! DRUNK ELEPHANT - Sili™ Body Lotion (📍) If you’ve seen my marula oil post, you’ve seen that I don’t support Drunk Elephant anymore, this is one of my last products I have from them (that they sent me) and it was too light to be a body cream. I have really dry legs and this didn’t do the trick. I ended up keeping this on my desk as a hand lotion and it worked well! Now for my no good product: Too Faced - Better Than Sex Mascara (📍) I don’t understand that hype around this mascara. On me, it doesn’t make my lashes look longer or fuller, it flakes super easy and it doesn’t hold my curl. Happy to have finished this so I can move on. 📍= product was sent to me for free

I had so much fun with this look because it was a colour combo I wouldn’t usually wear and I got a chance to try out my new Laura Mercier limited edition red Christmas lipstick since it was the perfect shade for Snow White! I always get the most flawless yet, believeable finish with my TF Born This Way Mayte foundation. It’s medium-buildable coverage and still gives a really natural finish. I’m very pleased with it.

It’s kinda dark for my face. But I normally mix it w IL MAKIAGE - WOKE UP LIKE THIS and I can get the perfect shade. Anastasia Beverly Hills just came out with the brow freeze styling wax and I have to say it amazed me as soon as I put the first stroke on my eyebrow. I had been fighting to pull my eyebrows up with a hair gel because I had seen a lot of beauty gurus doing so. First I would brush the hairs up then flatten it with a brush to keep it in place. All and all very time consuming. I ordered my ABH brow freeze styling hack and I was very eager to try it.I opened the package as soon as it came in and the moment I dipped my brush in the wax and stroke it on my eyebrows,they got in the perfect shape and they were as flat as a paper in that instant.I have to say it is a little bit pricey than the ‘hair gel method’. But it’s gonna make your life easier and you decide how long one will last you. Needless to say if you use a lot,it’s gonna cost you a lot.But this is just my personal opinion. I would love to know how your experience is!

I received my haul from the Tarte sale and tried out a number of the products in the Gift & Glam Collectors Set and Party Time Trio Color Collection with this look. My favourite product I received is the Gift & Glam interchangeable palette; the shadows are lovely and buttery with very little fall out, easy to blend and good colour payoff 👌🏻 the highlighter was also very pretty with decent colour payoff. One of the biggest parts of doing a ‘no makeup’ makeup look is letting your own skin shine through. You can see my freckles and imperfections because the goal is natural and glowing not flawless. 1) Good skincare is most important, make sure you’ve cleansed, moisturised, applied any serums and SPF then let them absorb before starting any makeup application. Healthy skin means you don’t need loads of product to cover up 🙌🏻 2) Apply a thin layer of your favourite tinted moisturiser or BB cream to even everything out while letting your skin do the talking 3) Conceal and colour correct any areas you need, I only do under my eyes to cover dark circles then set with the lightest dusting of translucent powder to keep everything in place during the day. No baking here 🙅🏻‍♀️ if you have any blemishes you can spot conceal and blend out with your choice of brush or sponge then again set lightly with powder 4) Use a large fluffy brush to apply a sweep of bronzer from one cheek across your nose to the other cheek then around your hairline and down around your jawline and chin. I use the fluffiest brush I have to diffuse the bronzer gently over my face so my skin has an all over healthy glow rather than a sculpted or contoured look. Using the same fluffy brush I sweep a touch of blush from just under my cheekbones back to wards my hairline. 5) OPTIONAL: Use a smaller face brush to sweep highlighter softly across your cheekbones, bridge of your nose, centre of your forehead and chin. This is just to give your skin an extra touch of natural glow so choose a highlighter which is warm and natural in colour and remember less is more! 5) Fill your eyebrows if you need then use a clear brow gel to gently brush your brows upward and set in place to give them more volume. I have virtually zero brows so I have to fill them but if you’ve got lovely full brows you can forgo filling and just use a brow gel to groom and set in place. 6) Use a fluffy blending brush and a touch of the same bronzer you used on your face and blend into your crease to give definition to your eyes and make your eye colour pop ✨ 7) Apply mascara to top and bottom lashes then lip balm to enhance your natural lip colour. Hello beautiful! My makeup inspiration today is from IG/Snapchat filters. I love using them so I thought I would try to re-create them. I noticed a common theme when it comes to “beautifying” filters. They always tend to make your lips fuller, give you faux freckles, fox eyes, a drunk blush look and a faux tan. That’s exactly what I did! ✨ FAUX TAN I used a foundation that is a few shades darker than my skin tone. I used Juvia’s I am Magic foundation because it is full coverage and perfect for that flawless IG look. I also used a ton of bronzer. I love Becca’s Sunlit bronzer. This gives me a sun kissed skin all year round. I love the shade Ipanema sun. Juvia's PLACE - I am Magic Velvety Matte Foundation BECCA - Gradient Sunlit Bronzer ✨FOX EYES 🦊 The most important thing about this look is the fox eyes. Use a cool toned eyeshadow and make sure you blend it upwards. You want that lifted look. I used CP going coconuts palette. I used the shade coolada on the crease, shredded on the lids and nutty as an eyeliner. There are plenty of tutorials on YT so check them out if you’re curious. Lashes also really helps with this look. I used House of Lashes in the style “Bodouir Lite” ✨LIP FILLER LOOK I have a video on how to fake lip fillers so go to my page and check it out if you’re curious. But I pretty much just over lined my lips using a darker shade liner. I used Kylie’s lip liner in Candy K and DoC’s matte lipstick in Truffle. DOSE OF COLORS - DOSE OF COLORS Liquid Matte Lipstick ✨FAUX FRECKLES I used Colourpop’s freckle pen in dark brown. Using an eyeshadow with a liner brush works too. I have also used light brown eyeliner in the past to dot faux freckles on my face. Eyebrow pencil works too. Use whatever you have ✨INSTA EYEBROWS I used Benefit’s microfilling pen in dark brown to give me instagram eyebrows. I sealed it with Glossier’s boy brow in brown to intensify the look. ✨DRUNK BLUSH I noticed that these filters always give me a flushed look. I used Rare Beauty’s liquid blush in joy. This definitely packs a punch will give you that drunk blush look while still glowing from within Rare Beauty - Soft Pinch Liquid Blush Follow all these steps and you are now an IG baddie 😉 Remember that filters are just for fun and they are unrealistic. rms beauty - Lip2Cheek I have absolutely no idea what shade this is because it rubbed off, but it’s a deep wine color. I really like the lip2cheek idea, but I think I got the wrong color. I should have gotten a more neutral color that I would actually wear as a lip and cheek color or just as a cheek color. I find this is hard to wear as a lip color because I’m terrible at applying with just my fingers. I’d use a brush, but that only brings out my dry patches on my lips. I’ve used the shade Demure on the cheeks before from the Pop palette and I love these more as a cheek product than a lip product. Also sorry for the messy swatch.

This is the RMS Lip2Cheek in the shade Spell. It is a cream lip and cheek color and is vegan and all-natural. It’s a beautiful dusty nude pink color that looks great on the lips and on the cheeks for a warm glow. I find it’s best applied with fingers but can be blended on the cheeks with a stippling brush or applied to the lips with a lip brush. rms beauty - Lip2Cheek

Dr.Lipp - Original Nipple Balm for Dry Skin Luscious Lips & Glossy Bits Ointment style balm which can be used for dry skin, cuticles etc also 100% lanolin with no fragrances, parabens, sulphate or silicone which is great for sensitive skin Lips looks lovely and glossy I find this too thick for daily use and prefer as an overnight treatment as it lasts all night and is still on when I wake up MOOGOO - Lip Balm Pucker Pack (Vanilla Dream) Contains a mix of beeswax, vanilla and a variety of oils including coconut, castor, soy bean, apricot, sweet almond and jojoba oil Has a lovely scent and taste from the natural vanilla Nice consistency which is thick enough to only need a single swipe Lasts well through food and only needs to be reapplied a couple times a day BURT’S BEES - Honey Lip Balm Contains a mix of beeswax, honey, natural flavour and a variety of oils including coconut, sunflower seed, soybean and canola Not much of a scent or flavour despite having both honey and natural flavour added Nice and smooth but needs multiple swipes back and forward to build enough product on my lips I find it wears off quickly and I need to reapply hourly SOL de Janeiro - Brazilian Kiss Cupuaçu Lip Butter Contains a mix of beeswax, cupuaçu seed butter, flavour, aroma and various oils including coconut, sunflower seed, olive, grape seed, rosemary leaf, hemp seed and açaí Has the delicious taste and smell of dulce de leche Buttery smooth and just melts into your lips leaving them beautifully soft Lasts well on my lips and only needs to be reapplied a couple times a day Lano - Strawberry 101 Ointment Multi-Balm  Ointment style balm suitable for dry patches, elbows and cuticles 100% lanolin with natural strawberry extract and vitamin e Has the lovely fruity sweet smell and taste of strawberry Lips look lovely and glossy Transfers a bit when eating but lasts well and rarely needs to be reapplied if not eating

Lano - Strawberry 101 Ointment Multi-Balm This is my favorite heavy duty lip balm. It beats out every overnight lip balm product that I’ve ever had. It’s especially nice for travel so I don’t have to take a giant Laneige tub around with me. When my lips get really dry and cracked and nothing else helps, this stuff does. The strawberry smell is a little weird, but I like the coconut one and I’d definitely want to try the other scents, especially the new minty one that came out. These are good to use on dry spots overnight too. I get really dry and flaky around my both area too so I’ll put it there overnight. Love these lip balms!
